You're probably wondering what happened to me after my "little outburst" in front of the Corporal earlier. When I say "earlier" I meant two days ago.

Well, what happened is, I almost lost my life. Hah! Yes you heard it right. I ALMOST LOST MY USELESS PATHETIC LIFE IN THE HANDS OF CORPORAL LEVI ACKERMAN.

After cursing him arrogantly, a gust of wind suddenly blew past body. The next thing I know I was grouching on the floor and clutching my stomach because of the sudden pain. Then my head was slammed to the floor almost immediately.

I can't hear anything, but I felt my body was slammed hard to what I think is the wall. And then there were punches delivered to my body one after another.

Then darkness. There was that never ending darkness.

And now here I am in the infirmary. Looking at nothing in particular. Eren and the other guys were here yesterday and they narrated what happened to me that night. And let me just say and clarify this, I was freaking pathetic from their point of view.

Apparently I owe my life to the ever eccentric Captain Hanji. She was the one who actually did something to stop the brutality that is happening to me at that time. When my friends who were there were actually to scared to do something.

Well, aren't I brave? I actually stood up against the Corporal's abusive orders. Though I was not able to do anything when he was beating me up. (So much for standing up against him)

"Hello there Lucy! How are you feeling today?" Captain Hanji suddenly popped out of nowhere making me flinched. She was beaming at me like there is nothing wrong in the world and titans do not exist.

"Ah, I'm feeling JUST FINE. Just that my head is hurting, my stomach feels like it has been cut open. My spine feels brittle. And I think I am at my FINEST today, captain." I beamed back to her sarcastically.

She giggled and took a seat beside my bed. "Oh Lucy, you are so adorable. But you know, what you did there is dangerous."

Like I don't know that already.

"But that was the first time someone stood up to Levi. Its quite refreshing!" She beamed again, and honestly, its annoying.

Refreshing, huh? Well the bruises in my body ARE REFRESHING.

"What do you want Captain?" I finally asked trying so hard not to be rude. ( but i think i definitely sounded rude there)

"Well, Levi "ordered" me to tell you that you have to clean the stables today or you will end up being stuck in stable duty for the rest of the month or be beaten up again by him. Depending on his mood." She scratched the back of her head and looked at me warily.

I huffed. " I see, well please do tell him that I will get to his orders immediately." I sat up and swung my feet down the bed. And woah, it hurts like hell.

"Are you sure? I mean, you look bad." The Captain asked with concern in her voice.

"Yes Captain, I'm sure. I better get this over with now, than later anyway." I shrugged and put my jacket on when I reached the door. I did not wait for Captain Hanji to talk any further, thinking that it will just waste my time if I listen to her rattle more than she needs to.

I reached the stables and looked around. No one was there except for the horses that whined once they saw someone enter their house.

I hurried over to where the cleaning supplies are with my every step making me cringed.

After this, I promise to do anything to be 10 feet away from the evil Corporal.

I did everything that I needed to do. Like EVERYTHING. And I made sure that the stables were spotless and there will be no dirt or any of the disgusting things that the Corporal proclaims to be disgusting, can be seen. I redo it four times before I got contented about it.

I sighed and sat at the nearest stool there and looked at my surroundings. I have to make sure that I did not forgot anything and the stable is indeed clean.

I wonder what my friends are doing right now. Tch, they are probably training or cleaning or maybe they are just goofing around.

"Lucy?" I turned to my left to find Jean there, looking at me with a raised eyebrow.

"Hey." I smiled softly at him and confusingly, he seems to have a blush tinting his face.

"What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be in the infirmary?" He asked as he move closer to me.

"Well, the Corporal can't wait any longer for my punishment so." I shrugged and looked back at the stable, indicating that I cleaned it up.

"Huh. You know Lucy, I always thought you are smart. But what you did there was very idiotic." He sighed leaning at the wall and crossing his arms to his chest.

I shrugged again. "I was tired. Very tired, Jean. I am entitled to snapped back then. I think."

"Still, I know you are short tempered, and reckless at times but to actually do that. To the corp-"

"Kirschten." A sudden deadly voice came and we both know who that is.

Jean and I stood up correctly and saluted to the Corporal. Which was standing firmly at the doorway.

"Sir." Jean finally said.

"Go back inside that's an order." Jean hurriedly walked away leaving the Corporal and I alone.

I was contemplating if I should run or stay. Hey, he might have some plans that includes beating me up here in the stable.

"Steele. I see you've finished cleaning this shit of a stable. Not bad. But-" I gulped. But what? " This cleaning could be improved."

Huh? What? Does he want me to redo it?

"Are you listening to me shitty brat?" The Corporal spat. And I immediately answered.

"Yes, sir!"

His eyebrow rise delicately and he looked at me with bored eyes. " I see you've become more collected. So you have to be beaten up pretty badly to make you learn a lesson huh?"

He took a step toward me and I tried, really hard not to be scared. He took my chin and made me look at him in the eyes. Not that I was averting his gaze. His just shorter than me, and I guess that looks like I am not looking at him but rather past his head.

"Hmm, interesting." he murmured with low voice.

What? What's interesting?

"Tch, are you not even afraid?" Huh? What?

"Sir what are you-" he slapped me. HE SLAPPED ME. I knew he was planning on beating me up! And that hurts! What's wrong with this guy?! I mean, I haven't done anything that will make him-

SLAP.

WHAT THE FUCK.

"You." I said in a menacing voice. And punched him. HARD.

Yes. I punched the Corporal. HARD.

"So I was saying that you, Titan boy, is actually-"

"Lucy!" I stumbled inside the mess hall. Gasps were heard all over the place and I staggered to get to the nearest stool.

"Wha-what happened?!" Eren frantically went to my side and examined my bruised face.

"THE CORPORAL HAPPENED." I spat and I immediately felt my cheeks sting like hell.

"He beat you up again?! What did you do?" Armin asked gripping his hair roughly.

"Huh? I did not do-"

The door opened once again cutting me off and revealing the frowning Corporal. Gasps were once again heard. Everyone stared wide eyed to the Corporal who also have some bruises to his face and also some cuts.

"Oi, you brat didn't I tell you to clean up first? You're filthy as shit!" He glared and step towards my seat.

"Well, sorry Corporal. I can't take any steps anymore to go back to my room and actually clean up. The mess hall is the nearest area to collapse for me right now." I glared back at the Corporal and felt my cheeks sting like hell again.

"Uh, uh Co-corporal uhm, I'll take Lucy back to her room so she can clean up!" Eren nervously offered and gulped.

The Corporal clicked his tongue and step closer to me. What he did next is somewhat- NERVE CRACKING. EMBARRASSING. AND JAW DROPPING.

He scooped me up and carried me princess style. If my jaw can drop any lower I'll probably do it. I imagine everyone share the same face as me though.

"Co-co-co-corporal! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" I screamed and started flailing so I can get out of his grip. Damn it why is he so strong?! And I did an awesome job of actually beating him up as well earlier in the stables! I think. His grip tightened and he pinched my side making me yelp.

"Wha-"

"Shut up brat."
