Chapter 15
Dallon couldn't sleep. He spent half the night crying, and the other half staring at the ceiling. At some point, he heard the other man leave. Good riddance. He wasn't ready for what was about to happen.
A few hours later, he heard Brendon wake up. It almost filled Dallon with dread. Not dread of Brendon, but what was about to happen to him. He quickly sent a text and got out of bed.
He walked into the living room and saw Brendon sitting on the couch. It hurt to look at him, but he couldn't think about that. "Good morning Dallon." He smiled and sat down next to him. "G-Good morning babe. How was last night?" He had to know if Brendon would tell the truth. He had to. "I just hung out with Josh. We didn't do much." Dallon was feeling so many things at once. Dread, sadness, disappointment, anger, but despite all of those emotions, he still loved him.
Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. Dallon looked at Brendon one last time. "I love you, okay? Please don't forget that." Brendon looked at him confused as he stood up. "It's open!" The door opened to reveal two men. They worked at a rehabilitation center. They were here for Brendon. "Mr.Urie?" Dallon looked back at Brendon, who was still confused on what was happening. "Yeah? Who are you? Dallon, who are they?" Dallon couldn't answer. He couldn't say anything. He just stood there, choking back tears. "Sir, I'm gonna need you to come with us. Mr.Weekes here says that you need our help." Brendon's expression changed. It was a mix of hurt and anger. "No. No fucking way am I going with you!" He started to back away, but the two men started walking towards him. Dallon couldn't watch. He hated what he was doing, but he knew it had to be done. Brendon was resisting pretty hard. The men got a hold of his arms and they started walking towards the door. He was screaming, crying, now. "Let me go! This isn't fair! I don't need help! It was just one night! I'll sober up!" He was kicking, but it was no use. Dallon was still holding back his tears. Brendon looked at him with a look he had never seen before. "I hate you Dallon! I hate you!" The words felt like knives in his heart. One of the men closed the door, and they left. They left with Brendon.
Right as the door closed, Dallon hit the floor. He was sobbing, rewatching what just happened over and over. The same words repeating in his brain, somehow hurting more each and every time.
I hate you Dallon!
