Lukas Greene is a charming Soc Boy who is is made of money, but makes  a lot of stupid choices out of peer pressure and is always wanting to prove his worth. Is head over heels in love with Megan, and he gets a little too pushy and beats Ponyboy up for hanging around her. He overall is a decent guy, But he gets too dramatic over the simplest things.

He is best friends with Kyle Mason and Kaleb Mason, and he is one of the most popular boys in school, and it's pretty apparent that all the girls love him( but they think he's too full of himself so they don't make a move) as well as Kyle. He's a sweet sensitive guy, but his downfall is his obsession with the things he cannot have —which is Megan Wolfe. He is honestly begging Megan at this point, but she has already given him her answer. 

As a Soc, Lukas does take part, even though he's mainly a third wheel when he's they jump greasers and mainly the last one to ask. Lukas is one of the first of the Socs to get beat up because he doesn't like to, but he tends to fall into the crowd so he won't stand out.
