《Chapter 1》 The Deal
It's quiet in the big house, until the ringing of the bell at the door, which disturbs the big Countryhuman's who was resting.
The young Countryhuman goes to his front door and sees an old Countryhuman who is slightly smaller and a Countryhuman who is almost as tall as the one next to her. The slightly smaller Countryhuman looks around a hundred years old and has some wrinkles and scars on his face. The smallest, which reaches to the eye level of the Countryhuman standing next to her, greets him first: "Good evening!"
Both Countryhumans have an ushanka on, but otherwise they are completely different, they also have a different shade of red. She smiles and the homeowner also smiles slightly while greeting them: "Good evening both of you!"
The girl and the old man in front of the door have a darker tone. The smaller male Countryhuman wears long brown coats while she wears only a dark purple coat and the taller one wears a loose blue top. The one dressed in blue has red trousers and the one in brown coats is wearing brown jeans while the girl is wearing dark blue jeans.
"Soviet?", the homeowner asks the man standing in front of his doorstep, amazed.
The other Countryhuman briefly explains: "I told you I wanted to visit you."
Russia is surprised that he really shows up and looks at the old Countryhuman before he lets them into his house.
Soviet Union crossed the house to his host's living room before he sat down with his daughter, with Russia's permission and was asked by Russia: "What can I get you to drink?" "One glass of water is enough for me!", says the guest, to which she says, "A glass for me too, please!", whereupon Russia brings them a glass and sits down not far from them.
Soviet takes a long sip of his drink before adding: "The last time we saw each other was at the grave of someone very close to me."
"I know that, but why are you here with another guest now?", asks Russia.
Soviet Union says: "I told you I wanted to tell you the story and I took my daughter with me because I want her to hear the story too."
Soviet daughter is a little nervous about not knowing Russia, but having her father with her shoulder makes her feel more comfortable. "I feel I have to tell the story of me and my partner before I get too old for it.", says Soviet.
Everyone makes themselves more comfortable on the sofa, whereupon Soviet Union's daughter says curiously: "Then tell!"
Her father begins to tell:
Irregular footsteps echoed down a long and vast hallway. The black doors were small, like a field mouse compared to the size of a housecat. It felt like the room was made of ice. The tiles on the floor were black and white, like those on a chess board. The decorations on the walls were even more symbolic than the tiles, as there were drawings and sculptures all over the place that were supposed to represent the devil and there was a lot of black and red in general in the room. The ceiling was mostly red and the rest of the walls that weren't decorated were black. The floor, sides and ceiling represented the different groups. The hallway seemed so menacing, like everything would jump out and attack you on the spot, or at least that's what the Countryhuman felt, not having had to go through this hallway of horror for the first time.
The Countryhuman was dressed in a white shirt, a dark brown tie that was the color of cherrywood, which was also his trousers and a suit that was beige in color. His clothes were tailored and although made of soft fabrics, due to his love of soft clothing against his sensitive skin. But even the soft fabrics couldn't give him a relaxed feeling.
He hadn't done what he was told to do a number of times by those who trained him. The Countryhuman, just walking down the hallway feeling like someone who could be shredded at any moment, tried to keep his head up and walk to the end of the seemingly endless hallway. His footsteps sounded lightly, but his footsteps were too quiet to be able to hear them with a good echo. The Countryhuman, who appeared tiny in the hallway, was already trying to guess why his old colleague was sending him here.
Was his colleague going to make him an offer that he should attack someone and then stop attacking his area? Was he perhaps too far out of line and should be killed? The red Countryhuman was getting more nervous the closer he got to the door at the end of the hall. Should he die here? How should he die for his betrayal? Should he be burned alive? No, that's not painful enough! They will definitely have something special for his case, because whoever is so high and commits treachery will have it even more difficult! He just wanted to get back in his fluffy bed instead of being here. He had to get through this... somehow.
Moments later, the Countryhuman faced the large looking doors before smoothing down his comfortable suit and adjusting his collar before attempting to appear neutral and sliding the doors open so he could see the darkness of the next room before walking through the gates went.
The darkness enveloped the nervous Countryhuman and he held his hands behind his back to appear more open and expectant as he looked around. Everything is dark, wasn't the one who had asked him here arrived yet? Surely he was already here, watching him. The red, taller than average Countryhuman took his right hand in his left hand as he looked around, but the darkness was too intense for him to see. He just stopped because he couldn't orientate himself and because he was a bit scared because something could come out of the darkness at any moment.
"Third German Reich company, my... guest... be so nice and come closer to the fire... I know you'll freeze to death otherwise.", the red Countryhuman heard from the left side of the room and the voice was more to him as known. The words spoken by his host indicated that he knew that Third Reich was not following orders. The brave Countryhuman, gathered his courage and went to the direction from which the voice came where it was really getting warmer, which made him feel slightly better. The red Countryhuman stretched out his arms to make sure he didn't bump into anything.
Eventually he saw a light light, to which he went without hesitation.
He found himself again at a stove with three armchairs around it. Third Reich saw Britain, his host, seated in one of the armchairs. Britain had a serious demeanor and one hand in his suit. Not even in a conversation between two colleagues would he shed his pride of which side he was on for even a second. "Sit down, we have something to talk about.", Britannia gave out more like a command, whereupon the red Countryhuman moved and sat down in one of the other chairs.
His gut told him that even though these chairs felt like normal leather, they weren't made of animal leather. He hated it but couldn't do anything so he just sat quietly and waited to see what Britain would say. "I really would have liked to ask you here because the others decided to kill you, but apparently they still need you for something. As if you would be useful.", he made fun of his guest. "Thanks for the compliment!", Reich said with mock joy. Britain immediately replied: "I didn't ask you here for compliments. Before the war even started you used to fight with Poland because he doesn't care that a few people are treated badly-" "A few people are understated and if some of my people are mistreated and can't even return to their homeland, that's no small thing for me, because unlike you, I care what's happening to my people.", Third Reich scolded the other Countryhuman.
"Third German Reich you're wrong about that, I don't care what happens to the Germans or what they actually are 'germs', because I want their destruction from within, which is the same thing you were trained to do and they're not your people or anything like that, they're like cattle, squeeze the last bit out of them and when you can't they're no longer relevant. You're not their Countryhuman and their protector! You're not even a real Countryhuman or do you have a family?", Britannia growled. Third Reich bowed his head, at which Britain just smirked. Reich wasn't related to any Countryhuman. He was created by scientists to serve and since he couldn't even fulfill this task he felt useless and a traitor, which he actually was, so to speak, since he taught people of charity, humanity, the importance of happy children, nature and told other important subjects and that wasn't something that the elites liked to see, which is why they threatened him and everything that indicated that there was something good in Reich is being tried to kept secret and his words changed to portray the Countryhuman as the opposite of what he was.
"Now let's get to the real reason why i asked you here.", said Britain, who looked more like he was gloating before he told him, "I'm responsible for a few mass deaths here and there and because I know you don't like them very much, I thought I'd make you a suggestion... I won't attack you anymore and you will also stop attacking me and for that you have to attack the USSR. Think well thinking about it, I already have a target full of people that I've spared enough to not be too afraid of my attacks." Britannia smirked more and more, while Reich could only look at him in anger and shock. "Either you attack Soviet Union or many hundreds of thousands of people will be killed!", Britain reiterated, adding, "How about I bomb every city at once and it rains bombs everywhere?" Great Britain put his guest under pressure with all the horror scenarios that played out in his head. Reich wasn't sure what to do.
"You will decide now or I will give the order to attack!", he threatened Reich. Third Reich spoke immediately: "Wait!... I will agree if you promise me that you will leave my people alone." Britain looked more seriously and said: "Of course! Hand on heart!" He put his hand, which he had in his clothes, on his chest.
Reich didn't trust him, but got up to sign when the door swung open. Startled, they both stared at the door as Reich's soldiers rushed in and within seconds, surrounded Britain. The Countryhumans were confused, but luckily one of Reich's men walked in and declared: "We won against Britain!" "That's impossible!", the blue Countryhuman roared. "We have conquered the British Isles and you, Britain, are under our power.", the man clarified.
Third German Reich smiled happily while Britain sat frustrated in its armchair. Reich looked at Britain, who was seething with anger. "I won't sign your contract. Folks!...Let's go home!", he ordered. "But what will become of our prisoner?", asked the man who had informed him earlier. The Countryhuman said: "When did I ever order the Countryhuman Britain to be our prisoner?" Everyone was silent, knowing he was right. Britain himself was also surprised. "Make yourself comfortable, but not too comfortable!", he said red Countryhuman, "I will destroy this building!" Then the red one turned his back on the blue one and went with his men out of the big room and down the hallway. Now he would fly home.
《Chapter 2》 Ice cream with a friend
He wandered through the cold hallway back to the less dangerous-looking main room, where his men stood and he walked with them through the gates outside, where cool raindrops touched his body and flowed down him.
This cool air outside the building, along with the cooling rain, was not an unpleasant cold like the one he had to feel inside, this cool air was freeing and made the red Countryhuman smile as he closed his eyes briefly and relaxed as everything around him became easier. Each drop was like a tap on the shoulder for him, while the sound of the drops spoke to him that he could finally rest.
The red man took another deep breath before opening his eyes again. The rain turned everything a light blue tone. The stairs in front of him seemed smaller than before. His car was just a few meters away from him and everywhere there were those who were looking out for him and protecting him at all costs, which made him feel even more safe.
He took a step down one of the once high steps and as he went down, he felt like he was going in power. He hadn't felt so good for a while. He cleared the last two steps before Reich only had a straight path ahead.
Once again he drew the cool air deeply into his body, but this time it was no longer relaxing and just cold. He then quickly moved on, wanting to quickly return to the warmth of his home.
He ran to the car and a man held the door open for him so he could get in quickly. The Countryhuman quickly got into the car.
It was cold here too, but nothing compared to before. There was no longer a reassuring tap, but he could still feel it in his mind as the drops fell on the car.
The deep male voice that had brought him here now asked him: "Where can I take you, Mr. Third German Reich?" The man couldn't be seen well with the limited light on him. "Take me back to the harbor.", the leading Countryhuman ordered.
Reich saw someone running toward the car out of the corner of his eye. He looked through the car window with wide eyes. It was one of his men who gently knocked on the door of the vehicle.
The Countryhuman opened the door. The man immediately told him: "You have received a telegram from the Kingdom of Italy!" He opened his jacket and handed him the folded piece of paper.
Third Reich accepted the note and thanked him with a brief gesture before closing the door of the car again, whereupon the tires began to move.
The leader took out his myopic glasses and read the message from his friend and colleague, whom he valued. He would like to meet him for ice cream tomorrow. He wanted to tell him from his victory over Britain and that he wanted to invite Soviet Union.
Soviet Union wasn't exactly one to visit others, but Reich wanted to see him in person for the first time in many years, especially now that no one would stand in the way of their peace.
He knew Soviet wanted peace and quiet because he wasn't one to mess with others. Fortunately!
Would the Soviet Union even feel safe in Reich's house or was this too unsafe for the big Countryhuman? And was Reich safe enough to have him in his house? He had to be the one to take the first step.
It still took a while until they reached the harbor. Third Reich climbed onto the the boat and into his cabin. For him, being on a ship was a lot more pleasant than a plane, which could easily get shot out of the sky.
He sat down on his small, soft bed. Reich quickly decided to lie down and sleep to pass the time and get some rest. The Countryhuman brushed his teeth, closed the curtains and undressed so that he was naked. His men wouldn't let anyone in to him unless it was an emergency, because he hated being woken up and could get very grumpy.
He drank a few sips of water. He gently put his clothes aside and lay down on his bed before wrapping his blanket around himself. The blanket was cold at first until it started to absorb his body heat, as did the mattress and pillow.
Third German Reich closed his eyes, enjoyed the warmth and felt the ship moving. There were some waves, but these rocked the leader more into his sleep. It was quiet and relaxing.
As he slept, night fell and the waves grew higher. It was still raining.
In the middle of the night, the Countryhuman was woken up by a nightmare. He had no memory of the dream, but the fear was still present in him.
He lay with his head turned to the wall, which took advantage of his fear. In the sounds of the waves he thought he heard footsteps. He opened his eyes in a panic. However, he couldn't move. His body was frozen.
The image that played in his head was that there was someone behind him who had come to take his life. Everything was so dark, which only made everything worse. The room now seemed so tiny.
Reich pleaded in his head to stay alive and not be killed. He feared for his life for a long time before he turned his head. In his eyes, there were six figures standing next to his bed, seeking his life.
He soon heard his men outside the room. They weren't tense at all. The three laughed and were in a good mood.
Third Reich moved very slowly to his clothes and carefully pulled a flashlight from his pocket, which he turned on. The room lit up and he was completely alone. Nobody wanted to kill him. It was just a nightmare.
He sighed with relief. Unfortunately, he couldn't sleep with the light on in the room... unless he left the light on in the bathroom. He stood up and walked naked to the small toilet before turning on the light and closed the door to a gap.
He let the light of his flashlight go out, put it away again and laid down again. The room was no longer dark and calm returned to him before he fell asleep again.
As it grew lighter outside, the light shone through the curtain of his cabin. His window was on the west side of the ship, which meant he took longer to awaken from the light of day.
He woke up with a dream of flying and being chased by Americans who wanted to kill him. He was too fast for them.
Reich woke up gently. Only when he woke up on his own was he in a good mood and ready for the day, even if he occasionally slept until the afternoon. He couldn't stand alarm clocks or people who woke him up!
The Countryhuman moved his arms again and opened his eyes after rubbing the sleep from them. He laid still for a bit longer before slowly stretching to his clothes and getting dressed in bed before getting up and he also went to the toilet.
He then went to the door and opened it. "Have a pleasant morning, my leader!", his men greeted him and accompanied him to the table so that he could enjoy his breakfast. He ate his cheese spaetzle happily.
He spent a few hours looking out to sea and enjoying the infinity of the sea, which seemed so beautiful and yet so frightening and during this time he read an interesting book. After some time had passed, Reich packed up his things and prepared to dock.
Third German Reich was pleased to soon be back home. He agreed at the port in occupied France that he would like to invite Soviet in a week before he got on the train and waited until he was finally home in his wonderful Alps.
He was taken to his favorite ice cream shop in Schönau, where his old friend was already waiting for him.
He was wearing a light sweater that was slightly brown in color. He wore green pants with brown simple shoes, while Reich still wore his uniform.
"Reich!", Italy said happily, rising from his chair with a smile and shaking his friend's hand, who giggled happily. "It's also nice to see you again, Italy!", said Third Reich happily.
Both Countryhumans sat down in their chairs. The day was beautiful and the sun shone brightly on the two leaders. Luckily it wasn't as rainy here as in the former United Kingdom.
Italy looked at his friend expectantly. "Britain is defeated!", he announced calmly. The other Countryhuman was so excited and pleased that he shouted to the world: "Britain has been defeated!"
Reich's best friend always got loud when he had a lot of energy and he liked to celebrate victories. At times Italian Kingdom could be so loud that it could annoy Reich, but mostly he liked his style. He was more quiet and insecure while his friend was the opposite. Reich also looked up to him because of his character. Italy also looked up to Reich because he was mostly quiet and easily asked himself deep questions and his calmness allowed him to find many solutions, even if he rarely took the easiest one.
Shortly afterwards the person who brought them their ice cream arrived because they had ordered it in advance. Kingdom of Italy had several different flavors of fruit ice cream, while Third Reich enjoyed its plain vanilla ice cream. He loved his vanilla ice cream so much that he could eat it every day.
《Chapter 3》Back home
After a few hours he said goodbye to Italy and headed home.
He was so happy to drive up the mountain and see his beautiful mountain house.
He quickly got out in front of the house and went to his house. He could already hear his dog barking. He started to giggle at the barking and a big happy dog rushed out of the open door, so overjoyed that his owner had come home.
Reich smiled and petted him excitedly. He also leaned down a little, while the cheeky dog tried to lick him, but Reich was already familiar with his clever dog's tricks.
"You won't get me!", laughed Third Reich and stroked his head before going in with him.
The dog looked like he was smiling broadly and was wagging excitedly. Reich gave his dog a kiss on the head, which made him whimper playfully and excitedly. Often Third German Reich believed that his dog could understand him and speak, especially while he was eating he made comments and sighed.
Reich saw that his dog was almost always with him. He makes him feel needed and liked. He knew the dog was still a dog, an animal, but he was still like a brother to him. He also slept in his room and sometimes in his bed.
Third Reich's animal companion was called Duke. He was a German Shepherd mix, which not many people knew about because Reich didn't want to say that his pet was a mix. Duke was a little bigger than a German Shepherd. He could reach two meters long while running and became very low, like a greyhound. Once he was running, he had to brake slowly or it would throw him. The dog quickly developed back problems.
Duke was a really sweet and playful dog who liked everyone. There were also some children nearby that the dog loved to play with. He would take a branch, a dog toy or one of the children's shoes and run around enthusiastically while the children chased him. This dog had already stolen a child's shoe once or twice in the winter when they had fallen in the snow and run off with it while someone ran after them. While playing, he would often grumble or bark to motivate the children, but over 95% of the time, he simply had much more stamina than the children.
Duke was also a kind of a lap dog, even though he was actually too big. He loved to be petted and massaged and loved to snuggle up with others. He could also quickly become protective. He was a fantastic family dog, even if his family consisted of Reich and everyone around him.
Reich repeatedly couldn't believe that his dog was already six years old. He got him four and a half years ago and the two have been inseparable ever since.
The Countryhuman went into his office and gave his dog a good pat, who was happy and wanted to give him one of his infamous kisses again.
Reich giggled again at the memory of Italy petting his dog and Duke wanting to lick his face. Duke sniffed his chest with his nose, he lowered his head only to be licked. He was such an intelligent dog and full of character!
He made kissing noises to tease his dog. Animals don't really understand teasing, but somehow this one does. The two of them teased each other from time to time. He made grumbling noises, which made Reich laugh, which he couldn't continue to tease and pet him, which also made the dog understand that the teasing was over.
Third German Reich sat down in his office chair and searched for the drawing of a blue tit he had started with his pencil before unpacking his pencils and putting on his glasses. Duke stood by him and watched what his owner was doing, when he realized that he was continuing to draw he sat down before going to his place and lying down.
Reich drew the tail feathers of the almost finished bird. Drawing calmed him down and was fun. He was drawing for half an hour before someone entered his office. "Reichi?", asked a woman. Oh, no, the Countryhuman thought to himself, annoyed.
"How come you sit here and draw and don't even say hello to me?", the woman asked. Reich looked up at the woman and said: "Hello!" before turning back to his picture. She was offended and outraged by this and left the man alone again.
Reich couldn't stand her. She was chosen to be his partner and have three children with her in the future, but he felt nothing like love for her. She was often sweet, but also pushy and she wanted to be seen as more valuable in his eyes than Duke or Italy. Third Reich wanted her away from his environment because she was imagining too much about them becoming partners. She tried to be more and more beautiful, but she was too young and pushy for him. This woman never gave him the time he needed.
Reich continued his drawing until dinner, but before that he received a telegram that Soviet would come early and stay with him for two or three days, depending on the weather.
He went to the dining table and sat down. An important rule at Reich, no one was allowed to eat meat or dead animals in his presence. That's why Duke didn't get fed by him, but occasionally he was given leftovers when he could eat them, like pancakes, which he loved.
Today he had pretzel soup with cheese in it. He enjoyed the delicious soup and even got himself another smaller portion. Duke waited next to him and Reich had to step over him three times. He was a good dog standing in the way and waiting hopefully.
"Duki, things are looking bad for you!", Reich said and the dog sighed in disappointment. The Countryhuman laughed and joked: "Aw! You poor little dog! Are you going to starve!" Third German Reich spoke in an overly dramatic manner. The dog lay to the side and grumbled as if to mean, "Again," while wagging his tail. Reich laughed and said: "Oh, you poor starving thing!" The dog grumbled again and dramatically wiped his eyes with his paws as if he were crying. The Countryhuman laughed even harder, he stroked him and said: "You poor suffering dog!"
He was given two meals a day, which he sometimes didn't like to eat because he wasn't hungry and he could have something better than dog food, so he wouldn't really starve.
Reich also cuddled him briefly. He loved his dog so much! He then sat down and finished eating before going back to his office with his dog and finishing his drawing.
He looked at it proudly before putting it aside, going into his room and continuing his book.
His room wasn't particularly big. It was almost four meters long and about three meters wide. He had two wardrobes and a chest of drawers, both made of wood. Reich had a small window that he closed. The Countryhuman had a nice bed with two nightstands, one of which had a lamp that he turned on to read. His dog was lying next to him with his head on his lap.
Third German Reich became more tired, so he went to the bathroom again and lay down naked in his bed while the dog lay on a mattress on the floor. The door was slightly open so that the dog could go drink and Third Reich could get his light. The leader read a bit more before turning off the light and lying down comfortably.
《Chapter 4》Visit from the Union
A few days passed. The Countryhuman woke up at noon and his dog was already running around his house again.
Third German Reich slowly got up and went to the bathroom, then he went downstairs, had breakfast and walked the dog after lunch.
He was very nervous to see his old colleague again. Now in hindsight he would have preferred not to do it, but the big Countryhuman was already on his way to him. All Reich could do was wait, which really worried him and he tried to distract himself with music and drawing so that he wouldn't freak out about the visitor.
The house and its residents were prepared for the arrival for their Countryhuman visit. Reich, on the other hand, wanted to hide or escape.
Soviet Union had just switched from train to limousine.
He was unsure about the invitation. In addition, he was very suspicious, so suspicious that he took several weapons with him and hid them in his clothes and suitcases.
The unusually tall Countryhuman didn't want war, but he was unsure whether he could really trust his colleague that much, especially since Third Reich had now won against Great Britain and just one might not be enough, but he only had the war which Britten started because he declared war on him. Besides, this was about a peace treaty, so he couldn't possibly refuse. Peace was what he wanted and probably what Reich wanted too.
With the non-aggression pact, Third Reich had already proven himself to be someone he could trust. He wanted to give him a chance now, but if it didn't happen, he would still have his weapons.
Soviet Union wanted to find out more about him in his house, which could assuage his suspicions.
Whether he still drew, read or whether he still didn't like going for walks? Third German Reich was someone who preferred lying or sitting to keep himself busy, but since he had a dog this had changed, which Soviet didn't know. Reich now loved going outside and playing with his dog. Every now and then he would go to playgrounds alone with his dog and swing or use the other activities to feel like a child again, because his inner child was so playful and he couldn't live out these things as a child like he does today.
Third Reich went to the balcony and Duke ran down the stairs onto the lawn, where he grabbed his ball, lay down on the grass and chewed on it.
Soviet Union was not far away and could already see the buildings in the protected area on the mountain. He stared wide-eyed through the limousine windows, fascinated by the beauty and character of the area.
Third Reich looked into the valley with the large village, the beautiful Königssee and the enchanting forests. He looked towards the small street in front of him and saw the escort driving the limousine to the mountain. The leader went into the house, into his office, but left the doors open for his dog.
Soviet enjoyed driving up the steep and winding path, looking out the window and through the trees to see how high he already was.
Reich was way too nervous and a little panicked. He tried to make himself look as good as he could and tried not to pass out because he was stressing himself out so much.
After a few minutes, Soviet Union was driven through the gates of the protected area.
Duke came into the house and went to see his owner who was so stressed.
Soviet arrived in front of the house and was let out, allowing the man, who was at least two meters tall, to be admired in his full height.
Third Reich was stressed.
Soviet was slightly nervous because he didn't know what to expect, but he looked so calm that you couldn't tell. The door opened for him.
Reich heard this and sat down. He heard the deep footsteps, which fell silent for a moment as the guest presumably took off his jacket.
Third Reich quickly hid his glasses. His dog heard the stranger and gave a bark at a normal speaking volume. "Duke out!", he ordered him. He made even quieter sounds.
Shortly a huge man entered the room, which was Soviet, who stood up shortly afterwards because he had to bend down because of the door. Reich's heart sank.
Of course his dog noticed this and barked at Soviet Union, who looked at the dog in surprise. "Duke sit!", Reich ordered, which he did, "Now out!" He became quiet.
Third German Reich stood up and went before Soviet. He sounded like he was confident. "Welcome, USSR! Sorry about my dog, he is very protective, but he is not a danger, I swear, he is completely harmless and he couldn't hurt a fly!", he assured him.
Duke had never bitten anyone. When challenged, he always retreated because he didn't want the leadership role.
"It's okay!", said the giant, "It's nice to see you again, Third German Reich!" They shook hands without showing the other one his uncertainty.
Reich signaled to his dog, pating lightly his thigh twice with his hand, which made Duke know he could get up and walk over to Soviet Union and smell him.
Reich removed his hand from Soviet's, who was watching the dog examine him. When he reached Soviet Union's hand, he licked it with his big tongue and the guest stroked his head with his hand.
Reich smiled a little. Soviet found the dog cute and felt more comfortable, he quickly trusted the dog, who really enjoyed being petted. When Soviet got to the back of his floppy ear, he pressed the spot to his hand. The big black and brown dog always loved a good scratch behind his ear.
Reich also felt better that his dog would befriend him. Until now, Duke has always been right.
Soviet Union leaned down a little towards the dog, who immediately took the chance and jumped briefly and caught his mouth with his tongue.
Third Reich was afraid again. Was Soviet Union angry?
His guest started giggling and wiping his lips. "You're cheeky!", said the big Countryhuman, giggling.
This greatly surprised and amazed Third German Reich.
Duke was thrilled with his new friend, who smiled a lot through the dog.
Half a minute later, Reich became uncomfortable standing around and asked his guest: "Shall I take you to your room?"
Soviet looked at him and immediately the Countryhuman, who was a little more than a head shorter than him, wished that he hadn't opened his mouth. The attention from the person opposite felt even more uncomfortable and threatening to him.
"Of course!", he answered cheerfully.
Third German Reich nodded and led the way. Soviet Union went after him.
The guest had already noticed Third Reich's behavior. He felt his insecurity, but Soviet Union didn't know whether this was normal and he could ignore it or whether the other person had a plan.
The dog stayed close to the two Countryhumans.
Third Reich arrived at the guest rooms and opened the door. Soviet's luggage was already in the room. One Countryhuman walked away from the door and the other went in and closed the door before settling in.
Reich noticed that the other one needed his time, but he still waited the five minutes before the door opened again and Soviet stood in front of him in a shirt and thin trousers. He had noticed that he should dress even more lightly.
Third Reich showed him around Soviet Union looked at everything curiously.
When they arrived at the balcony, Soviet stood at the stone railing. He looked towards the valley. The view was incredibly beautiful.
Reich immediately knew how Soviet felt at this wonderful sight.
"Reich? Are you sure?", asked the tall Countryhuman. Confused, the other one came closer and asked, "With what?" "The peace treaty! I know Britain was in our way and peace would be better, but you might get yourself into more problems.", he said.
"Soviet Union, I'm sure I want to do that!", said Reich, "I know there will definitely be problems because of it, but I can handle it! I've always managed it!... Even if they can be very 'convincing'."
"Still, be more careful!", he advised him. He nodded and also looked into the distance from a little distance to him.
Soviet Union was certainly right, Third German Reich thought, he was in big, deep problems. Unfortunately for him, or fortunately, he didn't yet know how big these would be.
Little did he know, would he be cruelly killed? Would he be threatened? Third Reich was afraid for his life. They could easily kill him.
Why wasn't he dead yet? Didn't he realize he was dying or did they have other plans? He would find out soon and feel what it was like to disobey again.
After a few minutes, Reich left the balcony, leaving Soviet alone to go to his office and draw as he wanted to distract himself.
He drew a siskin with paint. This time he tried to make him look very cute.
Without him noticing, Soviet Union had followed him and was watching him draw the little green bird. He approached him and he didn't even notice him. Third German Reich was too deep in his drawing to notice his guest, who was watching him with great fascination, while calm music played that brought the artist so deeply into this phase.
It took a while before Reich jumped in shock when he realized Soviet was standing next to him, watching him draw.
The Countryhuman with glasses looked up at his guest, who broke the awkward silence: "You're really good at drawing!"
Reich unpleasantly didn't know what to say and said: "Thank you!"
A few moments later, Soviet left Reich alone again as he walked out of the room. He didn't want to disturb the other.
Nothing exciting happened anymore. Reich ate earlier than Soviet and they stayed out of each other's way. Soviet could sleep well while Third Reich was plagued by nightmares.
《Chapter 5》Peace Treaty
Soviet Union woke up with the rising sun. It was pretty quiet in the house.
He got dressed and walked out of his room before going up one floor and seeing Duke coming out of one of the many rooms.
Curious, he went to the room from which the dog emerged and peered inside. It was dark, but he could see Reich sleeping soundly in his bed. Soviet was surprised that he didn't have such a big room.
Shortly afterwards he went downstairs with the dog to Reich's office, where he looked around. He had some interesting books and he liked his drawings. Third Reich had no weapons in the room, except a sharp thin knife that was used to trim paper.
The guest also saw that Third Reich had a template in its drawer for a peace treaty, with many country names written down on a piece of paper and his was at the top.
So he really wanted peace! Soviet smiled and had more hope, but he still continued to look.
He found threatening letters in another drawer and letters for orders in between. Soviet found something very interesting. A few months ago, Britain ordered Reich to attack Soviet Union or no matter what their employers said, he would kill him and leave his body to flutter in the wind like a flag of surrender.
Soviet sat down in Reich's chair. He was interested in what was in the letters.
He put everything back in when he was finished since the rest was information he already knew.
The guest was surprised that no one was monitoring him or this room. Everything outside was full of people from the Schutzstaffel.
The dog gave a slight whine. "What's wrong little dog?", he asked and stood up shortly afterwards, whereupon Duke ran towards the door, stopped and looked at him. Soviet Union walked behind him as the dog led him to the door outside.
The guest opened the door for him and he ran outside into the garden, where he did his business and brought Soviet a ball full of bite marks. He chewed on the ball and grumbled, which made him giggle and decided to play with the dog.
Third Reich woke up a little later and calmly got up before changing into his uniform, which he didn't really have to do, but once again he didn't want to change later, plus it looked neater on his guest.
He got up and went downstairs. He couldn't spot Duke, so he went to the balcony and spotted Soviet playing with Duke.
The big Countryhuman laughed and the dog barked invitingly for the next ball to be thrown. This made Reich smile.
At some point, Duke spotted his owner and left the ball in his mouth and also managed to bark with the ball in his snout.
Soviet Union smiled and looked at the other Countryhuman, who was giggling at his dog.
Shortly afterwards there was breakfast and Soviet was surprised that he didn't get any meat and that everyone at the table was eating vegetarian, but he didn't say anything because he didn't want to seem unfriendly or strange.
He ate his breakfast, Soviet quickly changed into his uniform and followed Reich into the office, where they discussed the contract.
There wasn't much to discuss, mostly just a question of whether they would support each other militarily, but Soviet Union was still against it as he didn't want to interfere in Reich's affairs and didn't want to accept any help as he was too full of himself for that. Third German Reich had to give in and the treaty they agreed to was printed.
They agreed to some economic cooperation, since Reich had smart people in his company, while Soviet Union had the materials and both were still a bit suspicious, but they wanted peace and that it would last.
A photographer came into the room and prepared to take pictures. Reporters also came and reported on it.
Third Reich and Soviet Union stood and one after the other signed and shook hands with the other.
They took some pictures and the two Countryhumans went back to doing their own thing while the newspapers were written and the news spread that the two Countryhumans had brought some peace back to Europe.
Reich was reading a book while Soviet was in the bathroom after playing with Duke.
"Reichi~!", the reading leader heard again. Oh no, he just thought. She said as she came into the room: "How about a round of ice cream?" "No thanks! I'm not interested!", he refused. "Oh come on~ Just you and me eating ice cream, we haven't done that in a while!", she reminded him. The Countryhuman says: "That doesn't change the fact that I'm declining your offer. I have a guest here."
"Then how about coffee or tea and cake?", she asked. "No thanks!", he made it clear. She came closer to him, which he didn't like and she came too close to him by putting her arms around him. He was annoyed. She asked: "Please give me more attention!" "I do!", he said annoyed. He didn't like the situation, especially since she was getting closer and closer to him.
Soviet looked curiously into the room. He watched as the woman sat on Reich's lap and put his book away.
She has never been this pushy. Reich looked angry and demanded: "Get off me!" She tried to look seductive and purred: "Only if you give me a kiss~!"
The Countryhuman had had enough. He wasn't strong enough to just throw her down and didn't really want to use force, so he grabbed her hair and pulled her away from him slightly, but only slightly so as not to hurt her. "Get off me!", he said sternly and she reluctantly listened to him. He stood up and let go of her hair. Reich grabbed her arm, which he didn't like and had to drag her to the door.
Soviet walked away and the woman swore at Reich before he kicked her out of the room and locked the door. Relieved, he returned to his book. However, she shouted, which he couldn't concentrate on and turned on the music.
She gave up and stomped away. Soviet didn't know what to think about this situation, it was just weird!
Reich drew for a while and Soviet went for a walk with the dog following him.
《Chapter 6》Don't praise the day before the evening
The following day Soviet Union was able to travel home. The weather conditions were favorable. The sun shone brightly.
Reich and Soviet were with Duke. The leader had become a little more open and showed more of his smile and he wasn't wearing a uniform now.
They walked quietly together along the tar road. Soviet Union was now more relaxed and a little walk in the sun was very good for him. Both were quiet and yet it was pleasant. Reich wanted to break the silence at some point, but was unsure.
Duke jumped around enthusiastically. He loved everything about the walk and was excited to run around and sniff because of the guard dogs the Schutzstaffel used.
There were Third Reich flags everywhere.
A little rest didn't hurt the two Countryhumans one bit.
"Reich, it's really nice here!", said the big Countryhuman. "Do you think so?", asked the one being addressed. Soviet confirmed it: "Yes, everything here is full of life and colors!" The other nodded in agreement while smiling happily.
The trees and grass were a fresh and vibrant shade of green. Soviet hasn't been able to see such colorful tones as often in recent years because he lived higher up north. The birds sounded beautiful to Soviet while Reich listened to them arguing.
The fresh mountain air was very relaxing, while the sun was warm and there was a cool breeze.
They walked along the path relaxed, while the dog ran around enthusiastically and sniffed.
It was such a beautiful day that people in the valley went swimming or just spent time outside, like the two Countryhumans.
Soviet was very quiet and liked it here. He asked Reich: "May I visit you again soon?"
"Of course!", the other answered, "If you want, we can talk about it over the phone."
"Yes, with pleasure! I will call you in the next few days.", he announced.
The three continued their walk and eventually went to the cinema that was there. They watched a film together and then went back home to Reich, laughing.
Soviet Union has started to like Reich in a short time. They weren't really friends, but they both still felt good around each other.
"See you then, Reich!", Soviet said goodbye to him. He smiled and said: "See you soon!"
Both stood outside the house and shook hands. Soviet Union let go of his hand and calmly walked to the waiting car.
As the car started moving, Reich waved at him until he disappeared from his sight.
Third German Reich then went back into the house and into his office.
The Countryhuman was packing up for a trip to his headquarters.
He wanted to discuss how to proceed and what should now happen to the British Isles and its occupied territories.
Third Reich had completely forgotten about the Countryhuman Britain.
He took his papers and took them into the next car. He transferred to a train that took him north.
A few hours later he was there and walked into the building, with everyone greeting him and him sitting comfortably in his seat.
They prepared everything. Everyone sat down at the table.
One of them had a special gift for Third Reich, which unfortunately put everyone else's life in danger.
Reich straightened his tie and said after a few minutes: "So, point one, what do we do with the territories occupied by Britain? My opinion would be that we liberate half from the Brits and we occupy the other half for goods so that we can arm ourselves sufficiently for defense and for more prosperity for the people."
The others mostly had the same opinion, but not the one of the Countryhuman. Third Reich picked one and asked: "What do you think about that?"
"My leader, I think we should keep all occupied territories.", he said.
Then Reich spoke again: "We cannot do that. India is currently fighting to be freed from the British. I received a letter from the leader of this peaceful revolution and I am convinced that we will just waste precious people there, I also agreed with Ireland that he would get his part back.
This will definitely make us more respected in the world and find some allies. Furthermore, we have lost so many men in the war that we can hardly claim all of Britain's territory.
I think we should focus on England and the territories in Africa."
The others needed some time to think and Reich announced: "I will make my own decisions! No more parroting! I am a free Countryhuman and I will run my company as I see fit!"
The people at the table didn't like it at all. The Countryhuman talked about it like it was a great thing, but it would make life a lot harder for all the rich people.
"I will help this country to a new age of splendor and prosperity and make peace with the world! We will become a stronger empire than we ever were!", Reich enthusiastically stood up, "We will fly to the moon, we will visit the stars and explore the deepest parts of the sea! Finally we will be able to be powerful and free again!"
"And what should we here do after that?", asked one.
"We will be able to live our lives! I can finally be free from the chains! Maybe one day I will become a father! I'm sure you all will pursue your wish!", said the wandering, fantasizing Countryhuman.
One said: "We're just doing our work for our dream! We just want the money! There are women everywhere, you just have to choose one! And you already have a woman with you who is young and attractive! You get the most money out of all of us because you were born into one of the highest wealthiest families! How can you be so ungrateful!"
"I don't want to be part of this family! And I want to decide for myself and not have such a young wife. I'm sixty two and she's not even half my age!", he objected, before saying, "Sometimes I'm surprised that she's about ten years older than everything my family likes." The thought immediately makes him uncomfortable.
"What are you complaining about?", said one of them.
Another said: "Let's forget about that and concentrate on our work!"
"It won't be necessary!", said Reich.
Surprised, the crowd of six uttered: "Excuse me?!"
"I will lead this country as I see fit!", said the Countryhuman and went closer to the table again, "You are all dismissed with immediate effect! I will find other people for this job myself!"
Everyone already knew this to a certain extent and four left the room, the other two stood up and shouted at him that he is crazy.
Third German Reich had his eyes closed, looked a bit conceited in his posture and gestures and ignored the two of them.
Shortly afterwards, the suitcase that one of the people had brought in exploded. The explosion caught the two people and blew up the table, a large part of which flew into the Countryhuman and brought him to the ground. The others flew a few meters and the furniture that was within reach was destroyed. Reich was injured from the impact and some blood was splattered against him from the other victims.
After a while, Third German Reich regained consciousness.
The injured man opened his left eye because the other one was hurting on his eyebrow and the side of his head. His skull was buzzing and one of his legs was also affected.
He slowly raised his head and looked around with one eye open and one almost closed. He couldn't understand what had happened yet, he was still too dazed for that.
It was a little more tiring to breathe with the piece of wood on him. He could taste his own blood because he had bitten his lip hard as he fell.
He was disoriented and nothing happened. Everything was quiet, disturbingly quiet. No birds were chirping, no cars were driving. He could only hear his own breathing and movements.
If he had been sleeping normally and this fear had arisen, he would play dead, but he wasn't in his bed.
The injured Countryhuman moved his arms slightly and took the piece of wood, which was slightly charred, away from him. He took his legs towards him.
"A-Are you still alive?", Reich asked into the room as he could only see one. After his words there was dead silence.
Third Reich crawled to the first man who only had very short hair. He had wounds on his head.
Third German Reich shook him gently, but there was no movement. The Countryhuman trembled more in fear. The man wasn't breathing and Reich felt for his pulse, but it was no longer there, causing Reich to recoil in panic.
He breathed faster again and stared, trembling, at the corpse in front of him.
It took some time before he slowly pulled himself together to find the other one, but he was buried under parts of the wall and everything in his path was too unsafe for him and to avoid hurting himself, he gave up.
In a panic, Reich shouted: "Is anyone here?!" He just wanted help. He was alone and afraid.
Everything was quiet until the birds singing slowly returned.
Third Reich went out through the broken window. He wandered through the forest on the road that had brought him here.
He walked with his injured leg for quite a while until he collapsed on the side of the country road.
《Chapter 7》Wrong call
Reich opened his eyes again. His body ached and he was still on the side of the street.
Only one car had driven past him to the headquarter while he was unconscious, but since it wasn't far from a village, the person in the car thought that the one on the ground was a drunk or poor person.
Third Reich was still pretty weak, but he pulled himself together and continued along the path to a village, where he knocked on the nearest door.
He waited and knocked again.
No sign of life.
His legs couldn't carry him much longer, so he went to the neighboring house and knocked again.
Not long after, the door opened and Third Reich met eyes with a woman. Her eyes widened when she saw the Countryhuman. The lady couldn't believe who she saw in front of her. Reich was earthy, dusty and bloody.
Third German Reich took a moment before he asked: "May I rest here and could you please help me make contact with the SS?"
"O-Of course, Mr. Third Reich!", she agreed and greeted him with the Reich salute before helping him in and letting him lie on her sofa before offering him food and drink, which he declined and she set out to carry out her leader's second request.
The Countryhuman fell asleep on the sofa and woke up in the hospital. He was no longer in pain and raised his upper body. Reich had some plasters and bandages and was in the hospital bed.
The Countryhuman lay down again as it was warmer and more comfortable. He snuggled into the bed with a hard mattress and soft linens.
He rested and slept.
The next day he had a visitor while he was having breakfast.
"Reich, what happened?", Italy asked, very worried and shocked for his best friend. He was genuinely worried about him.
The Countryhuman sat down at his bed. Third Reich left the food and immediately hugged him. Finally he was here! Finally there was someone he could confide in about what had happened to him!
Due to the stress and fear that had built up, the wounded man had to cry.
Italian Kingdom quickly knew how bad he was feeling and hugged him tightly and rubbed his back while he cried.
The desperate man kept repeating that he would be killed and how afraid he was.
He only showed this fear to his best friend. Italy was always there for him and listened to him. Reich cried and sobbed for a while while Italy tried to calm him down.
At some point, Third German Reich was able to calm down enough and told Italy: "I-I was discussing and then... 'Kawum!'... they are dead and I am like this!" He couldn't explain it in more detail because he was too frightened by what happened and his mind was already trying to push away what had happened because it was too much for him.
Italy was still with his friend and says to him: "How about you continue eating your soup and I briefly pass on what you told me so that they even know what happened?"
He hesitates for a moment, but nods. Italy let go of him and Reich too, before he continued eating his soup and the other briefly left the room.
Third Reich was alone in the hospital room again.
Someone walked in without knocking.
Reich looked at him and choked in shock. He coughed and coughed, but the soup wouldn't come out. He couldn't breathe.
The blue Countryhuman took advantage of the moment of weakness and pressed Reich into the bed.
Reich couldn't resist, but finally coughed up the soup while being held down, making it difficult for him to cough.
"I'm here to give you a message!", Britain told him threateningly.
Reich looked up fearfully. He was afraid and had no strength.
Britain threatened: "You should change your strategy Reich, otherwise I will hunt you down and kill you! And if not me, then the whole world will hunt you! You will not escape the inevitable, you weak little useless Countryhuman!"
Then he goes again. Reich coughs harder and his breath is much faster. He's shaking all over and wants to run away. He just wants to leave, but because he choked he can't.
Italy couldn't do much about this either.
Reich ordered to be brought back home. He didn't look at anyone directly and didn't talk much anymore.
The other Countryhuman could only watch as his best friend disappeared through the door.
Not long after, Third Reich was sitting on the train and the words of Britain were buzzing in his head. He was scared, but he hadn't made a decision yet.
He was afraid of his future. The Countryhuman didn't know what to do now. Should he step forward and risk that everyone would kill him or should he again bow to the will of those who brought his body into existence, manipulate him and for whom he is a disappointment and a disgrace.
He was shaking. Normally, when he was just after a case where he almost died, he would fall to his knees and beg for his life, but this time he was unsure. He needed someone to tell him what to listen to, his mind and he would end up here again or his heart, the reason he kept ending up here.
The Countryhuman was desperate inside, but since the process of what was happening still took some time, you could only see a little of the inner conflict by looking at him. Third Reich looked like he had received bad news, but not much more.
Third Reich disappeared into his house and into his room. He was very unstable. He lay trembling in his bed.
After a while, someone knocked on his door and he asked: "C-Come in!" He didn't even move from the bed.
"Your future wife just tried to kill herself because you couldn't pay enough attention to her!", said the man to Reich, who looked up at him in shock.
She was annoying, but he didn't want anything to happen to her.
"All you had to do was take her for a walk or eat ice cream more often and now she almost died! She's in the hospital now because of you!", he manipulated the vulnerable Countryhuman, who started crying and blamed herself that she almost died.
He told Reich: "She's doing what she's meant to do and you're driving her to her death!" The man then disappeared and Reich was left crying.
The poor Countryhuman was too desperate to go to her.
Reich told himself: "Your family means so well to you! They gave you such a simple tasks and you can't even manage to complete one! To take care of your future wife with whom you will have three children!"
More tears flowed from his eyes. "They meant so well for you and you resist and don't even care about the girl who loves you!", he yelled to himself and there were more tears.
Third German Reich fell asleep after crying for a while. Nightmares haunted him.
He suddenly woke up in the night and sat on the edge of the bed in the dark, his breathing becoming quicker.
He was terrified and was sure that someone was following him in the shadows of his room. Tears formed in his eyes.
In a panic, he ran from his room through the house to his office and closed the door before, to his shock, he discovered the large black window and ran to his desk.
Reich grabbed his phone and called the number he found first from the pieces of paper on the table. He was convinced by the numbers at the end that it was his old friend Italy.
When the person he called picked up, Reich shouted in panic: "Italy! Help me! Everyone wants to kill me! I've locked myself in the office, but they know where I am! Please help me!" He was crying desperately and shaking violently. Third Reich put the phone down as he squeezed himself more into the corner, staring at the bookshelf and his chair while overventilating and panicking.
"H-Help!", he said crying. He cried very hard and made himself very small.
He was like that for a while before he lost his panic.
He said into the phone: "Please come here as quickly as you can!" "I will, Reich!", he heard from none other than Soviet Union. Reich hung up.
"W-Was that Soviet Union?", he asked himself. He told himself: "No, you called Italy!"
Shaking and exhausted, he lay down in bed with Duke, who was confused as to what was wrong with his owner.
《Chapter 8》Uninvited guest
The Countryhuman woke up in the afternoon. He had his dog lying in front of him, but he couldn't tell whether he was sleeping.
The memories of last night came flooding back to him, including his mistake that he had called the Soviet Union and not Italy.
The big Countryhuman would now clearly feel differently about the one who had made peace with him. Of course, Reich thought that Soviet now saw him as weak because of what he thought, in retrospect, was a small moment of weakness.
Third Reich remained unsure of what path he should take for the future for himself and his company, but one thing was certain, it would be a hard, rocky road that would await him no matter what decision he made. But for one path, he would have to be able to live with dying and the other dying sooner than expected.
Even Kingdom of Italy could not get him out of this pit. And Soviet Union? He would never go against his orders and stand by Reich! He would just watch as the other leader would perish.
Reich was completely on his own and everyone he cared about was in danger.
Then Reich noticed that his dog wasn't moving or didn't he notice this?
"Duke?", he asked worriedly and his dog opened his eyelids. A sigh of relief came from the Countryhuman, happy not to have lost his most loyal companion.
He stroked his very soft little head. Because of the sleep, the dog's fur was so wonderfully soft.
Third Reich petted him with a smile. Duke closed his eyes again as he relaxed. He loved being petted by his owner.
The dog lacked nothing because he was perfectly happy.
Reich smiled slightly from his dog's calmness, which rubbed off on him.
However, at some point he had to get out of bed and get dressed because his stomach was growling with hunger.
Duke remained comfortably lying in his bed. He loved his owner's bed and wouldn't get up until later.
The leader left him there and went downstairs. He warmed up his dinner and after eating went to his office where he took care of some paperwork.
Duke showed up after half an hour and he was petting him when someone knocked and Reich said: "Come in!"
A tall man came in. Reich looked at the leader of the Soviet republics in shock. Duke barked briefly as he walked towards him, tail wagging, before being petted by Soviet.
"Soviet Union!?", he said in surprise. He was the last person he expected.
"You wanted help, here I am!", he said and looked at Reich, who felt tiny again.
Soviet had expected more enthusiasm from the other, but Reich was anything but enthusiastic. Third German Reich thought that this was just a way for the other Countryhuman to see how weak he was or to manipulate him.
He said to the big Countryhuman: "I don't need any help!"
Soviet looked at him, not happy about the lie: "You have a stitched up wound on your eyebrow and a plaster on the same side, further down. Besides, you called me ten hours ago in a panic."
Third German Reich looked the other way. This made him slightly uncomfortable.
Soviet Union then came up to him and made himself smaller before sitting down to be more at eye level and seem less like a threat.
Reich, in his comfortable everyday clothes, looked at Soviet, who wasn't exactly dressed formally either.
They both seemed like normal men, except that both were Countryhumans.
It made Reich feel better because the Countryhuman in front of him didn't make him feel like he had to be afraid and was just here for him.
Then a question popped into Reich's head: "How did you get here?"
"Your people don't protect you from Countryhumans!", he said. Then he remembered that the SS allowed all the Countryhumans to see him. Everyone else had to be registered.
"So, what happened?", he asked.
Third Reich told him: "I almost died."
Soviet looked at him with wide eyes. "And because you were so close to death, it haunts you?", he asked.
The injured man shook his head.
"Then what?", Soviet Union asked curiously.
Reich didn't want to tell him this because he was unsure whether his guest would take advantage of the situation. "I won't say!", replied Third German Reich.
Soviet said: "Okay, then I'll stay here!"
"Excuse me?!", the homeowner says in horror.
"You don't want to tell and even if I'm not Italy, I want to try to help you or at least know what's going on!", Soviet Union said stubbornly.
"No, no, no! You go home!", Third Reich ordered him.
Soviet Union made it clear to him: "Reich, you can't get me out of here!"
He grumbled in frustration.
Soviet Union walked out of the office and went the room he had last time.
Third Reich didn't know what to do about the uninvited guest. But he just had better things to do. Paperwork needed to be completed and he needed to visit someone in the hospital.
He took care of his work and then left his house and drove down the mountain.
The Countryhuman bought a bouquet of yellow flowers and drove on to the hospital.
Feelings of guilt plagued him and drove him here. It felt horrible to him.
Reich quickly arrived at her room and entered.
His future fiancée was sitting in her bed looking at pictures, not in a very good mood.
The man sighed and walked over to her. "I-I'm so sorry for what I did to you! I'll never neglect you again!", the Countryhuman apologized.
The woman looked at him. She seemed to be feeling better based on the look on her face.
She says: "I accept your apology if you stop working against your orders, I don't want you to die!"
"Yes, I'll stop it!", he told her.
The lady was satisfied and Third German Reich left her room not long afterwards.
He didn't plan on stopping, but he didn't want to unsettle her.
The Countryhuman drove back to his home and drew.
He relaxed a little and went for a walk with his dog. Soviet read a book at the same time. Reich read too after the walk.
Everything was quiet until night. The Countryhuman made sure everything remained lit because the darkness feared him.
Soviet Union observes this behavior.
Third Reich closed all shallosias so that he didn't have to be so afraid of the outside world and hid in his room.
Reich had a hard time falling asleep with the small candlelight on.
His dog's barking woke him up.
The Countryhuman jumped up, startled.
Duke barked at the door.
Reich hid under his blanket. He was shaking with fear and panicked.
There was someone there! Someone who wanted to get him! Someone was there who was going to kill him!
Was it the Soviet Union? Would he kill him?
Of course, the Soviet was only there to fulfill its task of taking the life of Third Reich! He would murder him! Kill him! Bringing his head as a trophy after he would be tortured!
They would make sure he died miserably! They wanted to take away everything that was valuable to him and destroy his part of the bloodline because he was too weak!
There was a loud knock and Reich whimpered in fear as he hid under the covers.
The familiar voice of his guest could be heard through the door while Duke was still barking, "Reich, lunch is ready!"
Duke didn't stop barking.
He was right, it was Soviet Union that wanted to kill him, he thought.
Third Reich didn't even think about running away out of panic, so he just hid.
Soviet was annoyed. The dog wouldn't stop barking and Reich wouldn't open his door, so he went to get the key.
Third German Reich was just shaking and Duke wasn't much help.
The only thing that bothered the dog was the knocking.
The Countryhuman in the room was on the verge of tears.
Not long after, he heard the sounds of the door being unlocked, which only made him panic even more and start crying. It was his end! He would die here!
The door opened. Reich didn't see what was happening. The dog became quiet.
Third Reich looked over his shoulder towards the door where the giant Countryhuman was. He couldn't see his face.
He started crying and sobbing.
"Reich?", Soviet's worried deep yet gentle voice asked.
However, Reich couldn't talk because of the panic. He gritted his teeth and opened his mouth briefly to breathe, otherwise he just cried, sobbed and whimpered.
The Countryhuman with the golden eyes looked towards Third Reich. He hadn't expected to see this Countryhuman like this in front of his eyes.
To hopefully calm him down, he sat on the ground so that he looked about as tall or hopefully smaller than Reich so that he could see that he posed no danger.
Third Reich looked again and discovered that his guest had become quite small.
Even his dog came over and gave Soviet's face a quick lick, making him giggle and make sure he didn't get him again and wipe away the drool.
Reich saw that and slowly calms down again. When he had finished crying, he couldn't look at the other person anymore because the situation really made him uncomfortable.
Soviet Union told him: "I really just wanted to let you know that your lunch is ready. Sorry for scaring you so much!"
When the Countryhuman on the bed didn't react, he made his way out of the room again, leaving Reich alone so that he could hopefully calm down.
《Chapter 9》Danger in your own home
It took some time before Third Reich got up and got dressed. He seemed completely different. His dog noticed this. Reich didn't pet him or laugh at him, but was still and quiet as he just made his way downstairs, appearing so emotionless.
The Countryhuman went on his way and the others looked at him, it wasn't often that the people of the house saw him like that. This particularly worried Soviet Union. Third Reich walked past him without a word and then touched the edge of his own neck once with his palm because it felt uncomfortable.
He went to have breakfast and asked to eat alone.
He also went to his office alone and didn't let anyone in. Not even his dog was with him at the moment, but he was lying in front of his door.
Alone in the room, he looked out. It rained.
He spent hours in his office and it became dark.
By feeling he walked slowly to the large window.
It was slightly steamy outside and the humidity had increased significantly compared to the last few days, which meant he couldn't see far into the distance. He quickly recognized himself in the glass.
He looks out into the rain sadly and fearfully.
It was time! He sighed. Now was the time to do the right thing or the wrong thing!
He looked intensely into the mirror. He would die cruelly or he would continue doing what kept him locked up.
He couldn't allow himself to get more blood on his hands! Now was his chance to do something!
Now he had the chance to change the history that was written for him and the whole world for the better and he wanted to try to do this all by himself!
He won't be able to trust anyone anymore. The whole world will want to kill him.
Hopefully his people will not be against him.
He had to destroy the entire system! Third Reich had to introduce a new currency! He had to turn off the news! Reich had to dissolve the party! The SS had to disappear!
Was this even possible? Just one of these? He had to try if he was going to try to save 90 million people!
Third German Reich made the decision!
He would do it, but he believed more that it would soon be his time to die.
He was scared out of his mind, but he would get through it. He already went to his desk.
He hesitantly opened the drawer and took out the threats. He read a few points as he would need them later, before he slowly began to tear up the first letter. Halfway through he gained more energy and strength and a few moments, after the difficulty he had with the paper, he had turned each piece into ignitable paper for his oven.
Inwardly he regretted this step, but for now he is feeling better and has gained more strength again. He finished writing the other treaties with the countries that had declared war on him.
He made an appointment with his secretary for a speech that he wanted to give in Munich.
The Countryhuman wanted to do more and set a few people to find Britain and the rest to stay hidden.
He brought drivers and other people. He didn't trust anyone anymore.
Third Reich walked out of his office and told everyone that they were moving out immediately. They were shocked and confused.
Soviet refused and Reich could do nothing.
He was too shocked at everyone being kicked out that he couldn't tell how the other leader was doing.
Reich and Soviet were the only ones left in the large house. The guest didn't quite know what to do, while the other Countryhuman put everything on alert and only briefly left the room with his dog because he was afraid.
Midnight came and Third Reich ate his Flädlesoup or also called pancake soup together with the other leader.
He could clearly tell from Third German Reich, who was sitting at the other end, that he was stressed and afraid of his future. His eyes were full of fear and worry.
Duke was with his owner the whole time. The dog protected him.
Third Reich watched the red man eat a little, even if he was afraid of him.
Soviet Union didn't yet understand what was happening around him and with the other leader.
After eating, Reich disappeared again.
Soviet Union went to his office to talk to him.
"Reich, why are you throwing everyone out and hiding?", he asks him gently and uncertainly.
"You know why!", was the answer he got.
The guest responded with, "No, I don't know! You didn't tell anyone what was going on! You just threw everyone out on the street without any explanation!"
"They were driven to a hotel!", Reich corrected him.
Soviet said: "That's not what I really wanted to know. Why did you do that? It was unnecessary!"
"I can't trust anyone!", he replied, "So they had to disappear from my environment and I would like you to do the same. Soviet Union return to your home!"
Soviet wasn't sure what to do himself, but he listened to Reich's words that the man of the house didn't need to stress himself out any more or something would really happen.
"Good, I'm returning to my homeland! Please arrange a flight and a ride while I pack my things.", he asked calmly.
Third Reich nodded and phoned.
Soviet Union didn't really want to go yet because he had a bad feeling, but now that he knew why he should go, he would leave too. Duke followed him.
A few minutes later, Reich got up and walked towards the door. But a chill ran down his spine as he took a step away from the door. The large dark window made him tremble at whatever might be hidden behind it. He looked at the window. His head saw wide eyes and a grinning smile behind the window of a huge monster that wanted to devour him.
His heart was beating wildly. He was shaking and had a lump in his throat.
The lights suddenly went out in his office, causing the Countryhuman to panic even more. All over his office his head saw in the darkness small black figures the size of a hen, which looked like they had sharp teeth. Everyone of them was dangerous and scary, but they were in every corner, at his tables and chairs.
Reich wanted to run away in a panic, but he was in too much panic and had the speed of being half slower than a snail. He was so slow that the shadow creatures would hopefully mistake him for a statue. He was breathing very slowly, but it felt more like he was holding his breath.
He was so stressed he could almost cry. Trembling, he touched the door handle and slowly pushed it down before he pulled the door open as quickly as he could, fled out and let the wooden door slam shut loudly.
He was shaking and felt as if he had gone diving and was finally able to breathe, which made him breathe heavily and quickly. His eyes became wet and he hugged himself. He was very scared and started to cry.
He quickly walked up the hallway, but he felt like he was being followed by shadows the whole time.
The homeowner was on his own, no one was with him.
At some point he stopped and heard a step heavier than his not far from him.
"S-Soviet?", the Countryhuman asked uncertainly behind him. However, nothing came back.
Had he imagined it?
He moved forward again, but stopped after a meter.
Those steps again.
Someone was following him!
He ran as fast as he could.
An armed man ran after him.
Third Reich opened the last door of the hallway and unfortunately for him, ended up on the balcony.
"Final stop!", said the familiar voice of Britain.
Third German Reich turned to him in shock. The other Countryhuman pointed a pistol at him.
It was over! He would die!
Reich collapsed, his legs could no longer hold him and he cried desperately.
So pathetic, Britain thought.
He was about to shoot Reich when he felt an animal's mouth on his right arm. Duke wanted to save his owner. The dog yanked at his arm.
"DAMN!", he roared and took his gun in his other hand, he wanted to try to shoot at the animal's head, but another hand intervened.
This large hand grabbed Britain's hand that was now holding the gun and pressed it to the blue Countryhuman's head before he pulled the trigger and Britain didn't even have the chance to realize what was happening.
Soviet looked at him emotionlessly as he died and the corpse fell onto the dog, who let him go and barked at the corpse.
Soviet calmed Duke, who then went to Reich, who had become unconscious from the bang.
Soviet Union put the other Countryhuman to bed and took care of the body.
《Chapter 10》Plans for Peace or War
He looked at the gigantic earth in front of him. Reich could clearly see this huge world in front of him. He was tiny and everything around him was only getting bigger.
Suddenly he was very fast and flew to a garbage can somewhere in this world and was swallowed up by the darkness.
Suddenly everything became white and black and full of cubes and squares that took over the room he was in. They spread out and some smaller ones flew through the holes in his body and stuffed him with them, while the cubes locked him in position from the outside. He could not move while these cubes took up the remaining space from the inside and outside.
Then he was back in his room and balls rolled and jumped at him.
Third Reich opened his eyes in shock. He was in his bed with his dog by his side. Reich was sweating, his bed was soaked.
He felt himself uncertainly. He was alive! Had he really survived the attack? He was unsure because he didn't know what had happened during and after the bang.
Reich had to pet Duke. The dog made happy noises. Duke was happy!
Third Reich giggled happily and hugged him, whereupon the cuddly dog licked him. He laughed happily.
The Countryhuman was so happy. What had happened yesterday seemed like a dream to him. He had to get up and see for himself what was going on.
He got up carefully. Reich was still wearing his clothes from yesterday. He went out without changing.
He immediately searched everywhere, but no one was there. He was sure he was alone until he heard snoring and went to the room. It was Soviet's room and indeed the big man was sleeping snoring in his bed.
The other Countryhuman was very surprised. Duke went to the big man. Reich immediately knew that the dog wanted to wake him up.
Reich came closer, but Duke was already poking him with his cold and wet nose, which woke him up. Third Reich came to both of them and was about to take Duke out when Soviet Union opened his tired eyes.
The other Countryhuman said nervously and quietly: "I'm sorry Duke woke you up! I'll take him out of your room and you can go back to sleep."
He quickly pushed the dog out of the room while Soviet Union turned over and went back to sleep as if nothing had happened.
Reich went into the kitchen with the dog. It would really be nice if someone could give the dog his dog food. He knew what to do, but it smelled terrible! Yesterday he almost vomited. Maybe he should bring his staff back here.
He took care of the dog's food and made himself something simple to eat.
Then he went for a walk to give the dog his food too.
Soviet woke up and stretched before getting out of bed. His thoughts tormented him. He had killed someone yesterday. Even if it was the leader of the United Kingdom Cooperation, he felt bad.
It wasn't his style to kill someone and if he did, he had men to make sure he didn't have to see or feel the blood.
He should have just let the Countryhuman kill Reich, he was surely getting himself into trouble just because he had listened to his gut!
Slowly he got out of bed. He got dressed and left his room to talk to Third Reich.
Soviet looked for him and found him in his office, he was walking in circles and not exactly quietly. Why was he walking in such loud circles? Was he supposed to show himself?
Third Reich stopped when he noticed the slightly open door and Soviet took the chance to show himself to him. He went through the door to him.
"Why are you here?", Third German Reich asked him. The big Countryhuman said: "I wanted to find you and talk to you!" Reich had partly meant his whole visit, but Soviet didn't know that.
Reich said: "Come with me!" He went to the chairs in the office and sat down on one and Soviet Union on the other.
Soviet had his legs crossed and was leaning against the backrest. Reich, had his legs crossed too, but he held himself up with his arms, to support his head.
They looked at each other, but there was not much expression.
"What now? Britain is dead! There is no one left here and soon we will be in trouble!", asked Soviet.
Third Reich said: "You go home and I will deal with them myself!"
Soviet Union made it clear to him: "I am here too and I am sure that they already know that I killed him, so I have to disappoint you! I am in now too, whether you want it or not! We should do this together now!"
Reich was anything but enthusiastic about this idea. He wanted to go through everything alone, but apparently he had to take someone with him.
"We should work together! If not, we will lose this and die!", said Soviet. Third Reich told him: "I will die one way or another! Get out while you still can!" "It is too late for that now, comrade!", he made clear to him, "Either we work together or we die!"
Third German Reich was anything but convinced. Soviet Union saw no other way.
"We will have to reorganize our companies and prepare for war!", he said.
"No, no, no! No war!", said Reich, "I want to make peace with everyone!"
"If they wanted peace, they would not have declared war on you and besides, it will not be enough for them to just kill us!", said the big Countryman.
"If only I had done everything I was told!", said Reich.
Soviet made it clear to him: "It is too late for that now, Reich!"
"I should just give up and beg for mercy!", said Reich.
"I think that's too late!", said his guest.
"If not, everyone will be destroyed!", said the leader.
Soviet Union said: "That's their plan either way! Now pull yourself together and prepare for this fight! We have to defend ourselves! And you should let the other Axis powers in on it, after all they could be on our side and support us! We need all the support we can get!"
"I will still give everyone the chance to choose peace from the states that have declared war on me!", said Reich confidently.
Soviet shrugged his shoulders. He did not want war, but he saw it as pointless to wait and see whether the states could change their minds.
Third Reich confidently told him: "We have to get our companies back under control! No more state-funded media! Independent journalism! That's the first step for me before I fire the politicians!"
"You're exaggerating!", said Soviet Union.
"The news is the biggest problem in the country and it's turning people against each other!" Reich informed him.
"I don't know!", said Soviet.
"I'll do it with or without you!", Third German Reich made clear and then stood up and went to his desk to get everything started. Soviet waited and watched him.
Duke came to Soviet and was petted by him while his owner took care of everything.
Reich and Soviet then agreed that they would support each other militarily.
Soviet suggested that they go for a walk.
The two Countryhumans and Duke walked side by side along the path.
It was cloudy and quiet.
"What happened yesterday?", Third Reich asked him, "All I can remember is that Britain wanted to kill me."
"You collapsed and Duke attacked Britain because he knew he wanted to hurt you. I had to kill Britain so he wouldn't hurt anyone else.", Soviet said, not exactly lightly.
Third German Reich looked at him in shock. "I threw out his body and cleaned up.", the other Countryhuman finished.
Reich was scared, which the other could see. Duke felt it too.
"Reich, I saved your life! If I hadn't killed Britain, he would have come here again and again!", he said.
Third Reich said: "Why didn't you disarm him and talk to him?"
"I just reacted and didn't really think about it!", he answered him, "I don't feel good about killing someone either, but it happened."
"And how do I know that you won't kill someone else?", asked Reich.
Soviet Union was already a bit annoyed because he just wanted to forget about it.
Third Reich stroked his dog. He continued to wait for an answer, but there was no answer.
Soviet walked away without saying another word.
《Chapter 11》Two halves made whole again
When he got home, Reich avoided Soviet. The fact that he had killed Britain terrified him.
At home, he arranged for a car. He had important things to do!
Without telling Soviet, he got into a limousine and drove down the mountain and to the hotel so he could talk to his secretary and get in touch with Ireland and Northern Ireland.
He had made a promise to Ireland and of course he would keep it! Northern Ireland would become part of Ireland again and the British would no longer interfere in Ireland! Finally, they would be a free country! And maybe even a new supporter!
He could even come over today with Northern Ireland. Reich also invited Italy to visit him in the following days, even though he could not reach him.
Then he forced himself to go to the hospital. He felt obliged to see the lady who thought she was his wife again. He bought her another bouquet of flowers.
Reich entered her room. She looked at him. She looked furious.
Third German Reich put the flowers in front of her, she knocked over the vase and the flowers. The white porcelain vase broke into many pieces on the floor and the floor around it was wet, while the yellow, strong-smelling roses lay in the middle of the wetness and the pieces. The flowers looked so sad.
Third Reich bent down and took the wet flowers. They had called to him with their appearance, to be held by him again. He held the still beautiful flowers in his hand and close to his chest, near his heart.
"Listen to me! I know I should have been honest! I know I lied to you! And I'm sorry! Being married to you is not the future I envision! You deserve someone else you choose! I... I don't want to be married to someone who isn't chosen by my heart!", he said, "I love you, but not as a partner, but as a friend! We can stay friends if you-"
She cut the Countryhuman off: "You! You ruined my future!"
The woman turned her body towards him and he backed away as she spoke: "You ruined everything! You managed to ruin my whole life! You lied to me and you killed someone!" She stood up.
"I didn't kill Britain!", Reich tried to defend himself.
"I wasn't talking about him!", she said.
Third Reich's head couldn't process what was happening.
She started running in the other direction and jumped towards the window, which broke.
Reich finally ran over to her, but it was already too late. She fell into the depths and Reich could hear screams and the impact.
He was shaking. What had just happened? His hands had no strength left and the bouquet fell to the ground. Shortly afterwards, the bouquet was crushed by Reich's legs, which had no strength to hold it up. People were buzzing around him, but he didn't react.
They held something in front of his mouth and nose and tried to calm him down, but everything around him was not fully perceived by his shock. He was shaking violently.
Everything happened so quickly! The Countryhuman couldn't do anything.
The doctors took care of him. He didn't say a word and when he was stable enough, he was taken home.
He hadn't asked if she was really dead. Reich couldn't open his mouth yet.
He just went into his house. Duke came to him and knew something was wrong.
Soviet Union also appeared and realized that something was wrong with Reich. He kept asking him, but Third Reich neither looked at him nor spoke to him. He sat silent in his chair while time passed around him.
After a while he began to cry heavily. Duke came to him and let his suffering owner hug him. Third German Reich cried endlessly. He couldn't help it. Everything was too much for him!
He cried in his office and had completely forgotten about the meeting. The doorbell rang. Soviet opened the door and was surprised to see two overjoyed Countryhumans.
"Hello, USSR! We weren't expecting you!", Northern Ireland said happily. She and Ireland had dressed up for this important occasion.
The guest let the two in. "I'm here to support Third Reich in this difficult time. Something terrible happened today, which is why he is unresponsive right now.", he informed the two.
"Should we come back at another time?", Ireland asked him. "I don't know, but first we should wait until Reich has calmed down again.", he said and took them to the dining table and offered them tea and biscuits, which they accepted enthusiastically.
Third Reich cried his eyes out. He felt so guilty! He wiped himself clean and looked at the clock. He forced himself to pull himself together and stood up.
He went to his room and picked up his uniform before getting ready in the bathroom and going downstairs. The leader called some people over and found the other Countryhumans chatting in a friendly manner. The two were happy to see Reich, who smiled at them.
Duke was already with them and had greeted them as Reich changed.
"Welcome! The reporters will be here in a few minutes!", Reich said and the two Countryhumans stood up.
Soviet Union watched Duke for the time being.
The three went out. Not long later, the reporters and other people arrived, whereupon everyone entered the house and went to the office of Third Reich.
He took out a document and announced: "I, Third Reich, leader of the Greater German Reich, will give the citizens of Ireland and its Countryhuman family back the island that is their home and support them to be strong and independent again, without any demands! Ireland will be a strong and independent island again!"
He handed them the papers and they signed them and gratefully shook Third Reich's hand.
The reporters stayed for a while and when they were gone, the siblings hugged the red Countryhuman, who hugged them back with a smile.
Then they sat down next to Soviet Union. "We didn't know that you wanted to support us too!", said Northern Ireland. Reich said: "Of course, it costs something to restructure everything and I also thought that you would want to make your country a bit more like it used to be! With more trees, for example!"
"That's really nice of you! We'll think about it!", said Ireland, "As soon as we're better, we'll support you too!"
Third Reich was happy about this and told them: "That is really nice of you!"
The two siblings stayed with them for the rest of the day before they left and Reich, Duke and Soviet were alone in the house on the mountain.
《Chapter 12》A new enemy
Third German Reich stared out of his window into the darkness of the night.
"Reich?", asked Soviet Union, who had gone to his office. The person addressed looked at him. He had an unrecognizable expression on his face, while Soviet was worried and tried to look calm. They were happy that Ireland and Northern Ireland had been free again since yesterday.
"You should go home and take care of your company.", Third Reich said, "As you yourself said, we are facing hard times and you must prepare yourself!"
"Can you really be alone right now?", he asked. Third Reich nodded. He added: "If there is anything, contact me!" "I will!", came from the owner of the house.
Soviet and Reich made a few phone calls to ensure that Soviet could get home safely.
They said goodbye to each other and Soviet Union drove home.
Third Reich looked at the car lights at the foot of the mountain through his window.
He still couldn't process what happened yesterday. He had cried a lot.
He walked away from the window. Soviet was gone. Except for Duke, he was all alone.
The next day passed and he went to bed, paranoid. In the middle of the night, his dog's barking woke him up. Sirens could be heard.
He was woken up from his sleep so quickly that it took him a moment to understand what was going on. He then immediately ran out of his room. His dog followed him.
He stopped once. Everything was still pitch black outside, so he ran downstairs. Third Reich opened the door to his bunker. Duke barked at him and stood there frozen. Reich tried to pull him down in a panic, but the dog was afraid, so Reich gave him an order to run out of the house and hide, which Duke did, while Third Reich closed the door behind him and went downstairs.
He ran down the hallway. He didn't want to die! In a panic, he ran further and deeper.
Suddenly there was a bang and the earth shook. Third German Reich caught himself in time before he fell on his face and was on his knees.
He could probably hear the house collapsing behind him. His whole body was shaking.
Reich was so shocked that he stopped.
And again there was a loud bang, but this time from above and in front of him.
The ceiling collapsed. Third Reich turned around and ran back. A piece fell from the ceiling and hit his leg near the tendons of his foot. The spot was on the back of his foot, between the ball of his foot and the joint. He screamed loudly.
Now it was no longer possible for him to run with that leg, so he ran away on his arms and leg while more stones fell on his head and back, causing bruises and black marks.
He kept running. Another bang shook the earth above him. Rocks fell on him, injuring him even more. They were suddenly such big rocks! Reich had to roll into a ball.
He waited, but no more bangs appeared to make his life worse.
Alone, wounded, trapped and with little oxygen, he was stuck.
He finally understood what was going on and panicked. Reich was underground, locked in a non-bombproof bunker in which he was buried alive and he was running out of time to escape or he would be buried further!
Who dropped the bombs on him? Which Countryhuman wanted to go to war? The poor Countryhuman couldn't do anything. It was also very possible that he would die here. Help was surely too late, because how would they find him and then the problem would be to rescue him. Tears ran down his face. He would die suffering.
Reich cried hard. He was buried all alone while the world fell into chaos.
His thoughts changed. Maybe this was what he deserved!
He thought about yesterday, mainly about his future wife, not chosen by him, who had jumped out of the window. She had only killed herself because of him. If he had treated her better, this would never have happened!
And back in 1939 he shouldn't have let himself be driven to extremes by Poland, Britain and France. He should have ignored them and forgotten his poor people who were being tortured in Poland... or wasn't it actually good that he had started the war? His people were better off, weren't they? Had he gained more than he had lost? He didn't know.
He had ordered that nothing would happen to the civilian population and that they would be able to get supplies and if his army had stuck to that, he was not a war criminal! He had also done everything as quickly as possible so that not many would suffer.
Britain had focused his attacks on cities with as much people as possible. For him, it was a pleasure to kill innocent Germans and he had said so himself. Maybe it was a good thing that the Soviet Union had killed him! Such a psychopath is dangerous!
Third Reich huddled together. What would happen after his death? Surely an ignorant or a psychopath would take over his post and make sure that many people had to die! He had to survive this for the safety of his people!
Soviet Union was not as bad as he had thought! He was so nice and considerate. Reich wanted to see him again and hopefully even become friends with him, because not everything could have been manipulation!
He would not survive this, but he hoped so! He hoped to make everything better for everyone! Someone who was evil wouldn't think like that, so maybe he wasn't so bad after all! Maybe he could really do something good for others! Maybe he could save the country and its inhabitants from being destroyed!
He spent some time underground with only his thoughts and his hope and his despair fighting each other. He didn't know whether anyone would and could save him.
Third Reich could only wait and hope while he ran out of air. He thought he couldn't dig. Too many meters of earth and rock were probably above him. Digging out was also too dangerous, as everything could collapse on him.
At some point he ran out of air and roared three more times before he used up the rest of his air by over-ventilating and couldn't get any more air. Then he stopped trying to breathe and started digging and moving upwards. He dug until he ran out of air.
He firmly believed that he was going to die. Reich breathed in the earth. It burned and hurt so much in his head, neck and chest. He saw a light in his head. He recognized outlines that looked like angels that wanted to tell him that his soul should come with them. But it was the decision of Third Reich and he refused. He was not ready yet. The light disappeared and everything was dark.
Slowly the Countryhuman came to his senses again. He realized through his closed eyelids that there was light. He saw red because of his closed eyelids.
He heard birds. He felt no pain, but he could feel something cold and wet on his hand and light, happy whimpers.
"Duke? What's wrong? Is he awake?", asked a familiar voice. "I doubt he can answer that!", said another familiar voice, deeper than the first. The first voice said: "You have no idea what this dog can say! He is the smartest dog in the world!"
Duke whined even more. "Reich?", asked the first one, "Are you awake?" The one with the deep voice said: "Give him time! He almost died." Then the two were silent. The dog laid his head on his owner's stomach.
Reich didn't move. He was still too exhausted. He took a deep breath, which made him more tired again. "Did you see that?", asked Italy. Soviet said: "Of course I saw that! He's awake!"
Third Reich recognized steps around him. He wanted to sleep a little more, which he did.
He slept for a few hours before Duke woke him up with his nose. The wet and cold wetness was unpleasant for his owner. He put the blanket over his face. "Mr. Third German Reich?", asked a lady. He grumbled questioningly.
"You're finally awake!", she said, slightly pleased. She had bad news, but now was not the time.
She informed them: "The leader of the Soviet Union and the leader of Italy have been accommodated in a comfortable place, as they could not stay here for the night!"
He just nodded. Reich's stomach was filled with hunger. He told her: "H... H... u... un... gr... ry" "Excuse me?", she asked him confused, she did not understand him at all. "H... Hung-" he said. "Are you hungry?", she asked and he nodded in agreement.
She brought food and drink and fed him gently. He enjoyed it, even though it was strange to be fed. A little after eating, he fell asleep again.
The next morning he woke up again. He opened his eyes sleepily. The light from outside was too bright for him again.
"Reich?", asked the Italian leader and went to him and was happy to see his friend awake. Third Reich smiled.
Italy came to him. Not long after, Soviet arrived and joined the other two Countryhumans.
The doctor came too and looked at Reich, who was just so happy to be alive and have his friends around.
"Have you told him yet?", asked the doctor. Soviet Union admitted: "No, we haven't."
Confused, I look at everyone in the room before Italy tells me: "USA has declared war on you!"
《Chapter 13》Not safe
The injured man immediately sat up and said: "P-Pardon?" He looked shocked at his friends, who could sympathize with how Reich was feeling now.
Their friend had barely survived when he had to hear that he was at war again.
"It was also the USA that almost made sure that you died. Duke saved your life. He got help.", Italy told him.
Everything was so much for the poor Countryhuman.
"He was all alone and...", his old friend said, but he wasn't listening. Too much was going on in Reich's head.
So much was happening to Third Reich at once that he was quite overwhelmed, which Soviet Union noticed and said to the other Countryhuman: "Reich seems overwhelmed! Maybe you can tell him later." And immediately Italian Kingdom stopped talking and stroked his old friend's head a little to distract him.
Third German Reich looked up at him, full of worry and fear. He was desperate. He knew that he and perhaps fate had chosen him to live, but he still felt he could not cope with all this.
Italy sat down on his bed and Reich turned his head and body away from him before saying: "You better get out of here! He is invincible! And I don't even want to defeat him! I... I don't even know what I want!"
Kingdom of Italy told him: "Reich, you are not doing this alone! I and Japan have also decided to declared war on him! If war is declared on you, then the whole-" the injured man interrupted him: "Have you completely lost your mind?! He will defeat you both too!" "If he were to win against you, we would be next in line, Reich!", he said.
"I would have deserved to lose and be tortured!", said Reich. Soviet told him: "But the humans in your company don't, right?" Reich looked at him with wide eyes.
Soviet knew that Reich had a drive for his new deeds. He was already convinced that Reich wasn't doing it for himself and he had hit the nail on the head with the humans.
Third Reich thought about it and said: "I'm going to lose, but at least I'm trying to do something to make sure nothing happens to them." The other Countryhumans smiled.
The door opened and Duke came in. "Duke!", Reich said enthusiastically and his dog ran to him, leaned on the bed with his front paws and licked his owner's face while he had to laugh. The injured man was full of joy to have his companion back with him and this joy was returned by the excitedly whining dog.
Third German Reich hugged him and laughed at all the dog kisses, from which he turned his face away.
The other two Countryhumans were very amused by this sight, which made Kingdom of Italy laugh and Soviet Union giggle.
Soviet was actually more excited, but held most of it back. He didn't know it else.
Third Reich made more space on the bed and after patting the bed, his dog jumped on the bed.
Actually, no animals were allowed in hospitals, but Reich had made sure that this did not apply to him. His dog made him feel more comfortable.
"How long has it been since I was buried underground?", asked the Countryhuman tied to his bed. Kingdom of Italy said: "Three days!"
Reich looked at him in surprise. "The doctors say it's a real miracle that you survived! Unfortunately, someone had to take your place for that long and he made stupid decisions in defense that you should definitely fix when you get fitter!", he said.
"When I get fitter? You can't expect me to take a break! If he made that much stupid decisions, I'll clean it up!", Reich clarified.
To demonstrate his strength, he moved his arms under his body and tried to stand up. However, he could only get a few inches off the bed. Reich lay down again, as this was too strenuous for him.
His hand was immediately licked as soon as his dog was within reach, whereupon he quickly took his hand away so that it would not be covered in drool.
"I can't get up, but I still want to do my duties!", the Third German Reich clarified.
Soviet asked him uncertainly: "Don't you want to wait?" "No!", he said, "The humans are the most important thing!"
The big countryman looked at Reich's old friend, who did not look surprised by the injured man's words.
Third Reich did not let himself be stopped and spent the next few days setting up his military in the right places and finding out what options he had.
He could attack by sea from France or he could send his ships and submarines north to avoid having to travel as much, but he had to watch out for Canada.
The Japanese Empire had also declared war on the USA a few days later and the Kingdom of Italy a day later. Soviet Union was still considering it. He had the easiest way across of all of them and it would probably come to that sooner or later.
The Third Reich was still so scared that he canceled every speech he had planned. They would certainly try to shoot him in public.
As always, there would be someone shooting and spreading panic and several who in their panic would kill the one who would shoot, the actual target and witnesses.
Third Reich had recently escaped death. He was not about to risk his life again so soon.
There were many other things they could do to take his life, which he went through.
His fear kept him awake day and night.
He wasn't safe in this hospital either. He could never be safe!
Every day he heard more and more about how civilians were being killed and used, how children and women disappeared and would probably never appear again or as corpses.
He lost more and more faith that everything would turn out well and the will to defend himself. His enemies were everywhere!
The Countryhuman lay trembling in his bed and looked out of his window into the darkness. Normally he closed the curtains, but this time he had fallen asleep from tiredness and woke up in the middle of the night.
His head was playing tricks on him again.
He trusted nothing and no one. He lacked his basic trust.
Everything was a danger! Everything was wrong! Inside and outside!
The light was on the door and his dog wasn't with him either, because Italy had agreed to look after him.
Through his fear, Third Reich saw many greedy eyes outside that wanted to tear him apart. Monsters that were hungry for his soul.
Why did his family have to persecute him like that!? They hunted him in and outside of his dreams because they no longer had control over him.
His ancestors came from another world, which could best be described as hell. But no humans came to hell, only demons came out who had destroyed this world and manipulated it. Everything took place behind the scenes of the stage.
Humans who knew this were portrayed as crazy and evil, but they either knew this from a previous life or found out. However, everyone had their own idea of the world and did not want these new possibilities to destroy their world, regardless of whether this was right or wrong. Fortunately, more and more people came to this new idea of the world, even if they kept it a secret because they were not free and were afraid, but they at least tried to give others a little nudge in the right direction.
Reich was in danger because he knew the truth and had enough evidence to prove it. He only lived to obey orders, but his soul knew that this was not his way.
Unfortunately, Third Reich also fed these demons with his fear. Fear and hatred made them stronger.
Suddenly he heard serenes starting up in the distance, but they weren't that loud because of the distance. If he had been asleep, he would have missed them.
He could hear a lot of footsteps in the hallway.
If anything happened, they would take him with them, which is why he waited.
Voices could be heard for a few minutes before everything went quiet. Disturbingly quiet!
He was still slow, but not too slow.
He was even more afraid that something would attack him, but he held a glass bottle of water in his right hand to feel stronger.
He waddled to the door, which he opened before looking around and coming out.
"Hello?", he asked. Not loudly, because he had to take it easy. He just walked down the hallway.
That was weird? Had they forgotten him? Did they want to forget him? He carefully walked down the stairs to the ground floor. There was no one there, so he decided to run out.
He walked barefoot across the grass, which tickled his feet. However, he was only wearing a hospital gown, which made the cool night very noticeable.
He could hear the sounds of planes getting louder and louder.
Even though he was afraid of the darkness, he ran into it because he had no other option.
There were lights every now and then that made his escape easier.
Suddenly he landed on the street. Confused himself as to how he had managed this, he ran down the empty street.
Then he heard an explosion and Reich froze in panic before he started running for his life.
He was panicked and ran quickly and arrived at an intersection, where he saw a bridge on the path ahead of him.
He immediately decided to run to the river, which he did. Next to the bridge he ran to the water.
He kept his distance from the bridge to be on the safe side.
He sat there and watched the planes as they flew around the sky and dropped bombs.
He sat alone on the bank. Even though it was a very dangerous situation, he mostly stayed calm and looked up at the sky, which was becoming increasingly covered in clouds of smoke. The planes were still flying in formation across the sky and dropping bombs, while he sat unnoticed in the darkness and rested to regain his strength.
Running away had cost him a lot of energy. He just wasn't fit enough yet.
Now he could also hear screams and got up and since he still had to take it easy, walked further away from the water, closer to the road.
The Countryhuman could now see more of the horror that was taking place in this city. People were running in the streets while houses and vehicles were burning. Even the tar was getting too hot and was melting from the incendiary bombs.
Reich had to quickly look away and one of the people came to him. The woman was completely out of breath. "Go to the river.", he said. Of course she listened to him, even though she was too scared to realize that a Countryhuman was talking to her.
Third Reich took the frightened people to the river bank.
A few minutes later, a group appeared from the left and took the other people and Reich out of the city.
They all settled down in a field and took care of the injured and the children.
The Countryhuman looked at them and then at the burning city. The planes were gone, but it was still burning.
《Chapter 14》The family
"Are you OK?", one of them asked in the direction of Reich. "Yes!", several answered.
Reich was still silent and shocked by what had happened. The poor Countryhuman was overwhelmed.
Someone touched his shoulder and asked: "Are you OK?" He winced and looked at her before answering: "As OK as someone who has been in the hospital can be!"
"Your voice sounds so familiar!", she said. "Oh!", said the Countryhuman, "I hear that a lot!"
"You... you sound similar to Third Reich, just a little slower and higher.", she thought, "And you don't sound as accented, but you're close."
Reich wanted to change the subject: "I've never experienced anything like this before, what will happen to us now?" "Oh! We're being searched and taken to the nearest hospital for examination.", she told him, "We were incredibly lucky!"
Third German Reich, however, did not want this. He just wanted to be alone.
He got up, drawing attention to himself. "What's wrong?", the woman asked the Countryhuman, confused. "I-I just want to be alone right now.", he replied.
"Please stay here. Maybe you have more than you think and they'll definitely try to find you with dogs.", the woman said kindly. He said to her: "I understand you! I need rest and then I'll come back and show that I'm alive."
"Please, sir, take care of yourself.", she asked. He nodded and walked away.
Third Reich didn't know where he was going, only that he needed rest.
Meanwhile, Italian Kingdom was woken up, who was annoyed by this. "What the hell is going on now!", he complained sleepily.
"Sir, the hospital where Third Reich was was attacked by the Americans!", the man reported.
He immediately woke up and jumped up.
"Is he alive?", he asked immediately. The man answered him: "We don't know at this point, the fires are still being put out and they're looking for him."
"I want to be taken there immediately!", he said. "And now leave my room!", he ordered. "As you wish, sir!", he said and closed the door behind him.
Italy was incredibly worried about his friend and quickly got dressed so as not to run around almost naked.
Once dressed, he ran to Soviet's room, opened the door and yelled loudly: "Soviet, wake up! Reich is lost!"
The tall Countryhuman, had slept naked in his bed and of course felt disturbed by Italy, but got up.
When the shorter Countryhuman was outside the room, Soviet Union got dressed and left his room before both of them set off. Duke stayed in Kingdom of Italy's room.
Third Reich went down a dark dirt road. Fortunately, the moon illuminated the path a little with its light.
He could feel a cool breeze. The air smelled of conifers and was a little dry.
The leader no longer had as much inner strength. He only had a weak inner light that guided him on the path, the destination of which he did not know. He simply walked and hoped to be able to rest and sleep soon.
He didn't have the strength to be the leader that this company needed now. A true leader would not let himself be defeated and would get up again.
He walked on and on, while more and more thoughts formed in his head. His thoughts literally flooded him.
His doubts and fears became more powerful. The paranoia made him stressed.
The bloodthirsty monsters in his head wanted him dead. They were everywhere, the shadows in the darkness that followed him. They were already ready to attack him from behind.
The best thing was to just keep going, because if these monsters were really there, they would kill him one way or another.
Why? Why was he here? He was unsure. He was created to destroy everything here. Why couldn't he do that and why was he being supported?
Italy was an old friend of his, so it was a bit more understandable with him, but with Soviet? He was very surprised about Soviet's support.
Somehow Soviet was nice, even though he was a big, strong and somewhat scary man. It was so nice of him to stay with Reich.
He was a good friend and even if he had killed someone, he still saved his life! Soviet was there when he needed him. He accompanied him and listened to him.
Maybe he really was a friend! Someone he could trust! Who helped and supported him!
He wanted to try! Giving him a chance wasn't that difficult after all.
Third Reich saw a little house in front of him.
He quickly better and went to the house and rang the bell.
A little light, probably from a candle, came closer to the door, which was opened for him.
"Good evening! Excuse me, but I need a place to stay for the night.", he informed the resident, whom he didn't know and through the small light, because his face was very affected by the shadow of the small candlelight, "May I please spend this night with you?"
The lady in her nightgown couldn't believe her eyes. She couldn't believe that she was seeing the leader of her "country" in front of her. "Yes, come in!", she said nervously and made room for him.
The Countryhuman entered, wiping his bare feet on her mat in front of the door so that he didn't bring so much dirt in with him.
"Thank you very much!", Reich thanked her happily before saying, "Forgive me, madam, for paying you a visit out of nowhere and not particularly nicely dressed!"
"N-No problem, m-my Führer!", she said uncertainly. She was also unsure whether she wasn't dreaming that she had him, the real Third Reich, here with her.
"Honey, what's going on?", a man, the woman's husband, said wearily.
A man with a bandaged hand walked from the first floor to the hallway. Shocked, he stopped and looked at the guest with wide eyes. He quickly raised his arm and wanted to greet him, but he was interrupted by the Countryhuman, who asked: "You don't have to greet me like that, good sir, a simple handshake is enough! I'm only a human!"
"Only a human?! You are much more than that! You are a hero!", he said in surprise.
"But you don't have to greet me so energetically.", Reich said to him, "Don't get me wrong, it's very nice, but I'm tired and need to recover."
"May we ask you why you wanted to stay with us?", asked the woman.
Third German Reich replied: "The town near you was attacked and I felt too unsafe to be where everyone knows where I am, which is why I decided to ask you."
"Would you like to sleep right away or can we offer you something to eat and drink?", asked the man.
"If you don't mind, I'd like something to drink.", Reich agreed, whereupon he was led to the dining table.
He got there first and moved the chair without their help and sat down, letting out a sigh of relief.
Now he finally didn't have to walk anymore and it wasn't dark anymore either. His body had really needed this rest, because he was still not completely fit and he had been stressed the whole time.
The leader looked around the house made of wood and stone. The family had a lot of old furniture and souvenirs, even the odd picture or drawing of them or probably drawings of their children.
"What can we get you to drink?", asked the man. He answered: "A glass of water, please!"
Not long after, a full glass of clean water was in front of him and he thanked him for it.
The man sat down in front of him. Third Reich looked at him and smiled. You could see that he was nervous, but also happy. Maybe he should talk to him.
The Countryhuman asked: "What's your name?" "My name is Valentin and my wife's name is Eleonore!", he introduced himself and his wife.
Reich smiled at him and said to them: "I'm pleased to meet you both!"
"The pleasure is all on our side!", said the man.
Shortly afterwards, Valentin said: "We never expected to ever meet you in person!" This made Third German Reich smile even more.
"We have been to your speeches many times!", the lady said, "We could feel how much love you have for us and in what you want to tell us. Your speeches are always so beautiful and so interesting!"
Third Reich was very pleased and asked: "Really?"
"Yes!", her husband agreed, "That's why so many people come to your speeches! You excite and inspire us! There are many speakers, but you, you are the best! We are always infected by all the positive things you talk about! Your love of our country and love of humanity really drives us on! You motivate us and help us to recognize our worth more!"
"How you tell us that we should take care of ourselves and our loved ones and that we should love each other like brothers!", she says enthusiastically.
He said: "As if God had given you to us!" To which Reich replied: "You're exaggerating!"
Valentin argued: "Absolutely not! We were tried to take away our love for our country and ourselves and you gave us all that back!"
Reich smiled slightly. He thought it was exaggerated, but nice. He was definitely feeling better.
Suddenly he remembered the light when he almost died. Could it be that these were angels who gave him the decision to go with them or to stay here?
Could it be that he had been given another chance to do more good? Could it be that he was really here to make everything better? Somehow the thought felt so right! It had to be!
"My Führer, do you want to go to bed?", asked Eleonore. Third Reich was taken out of his thoughts and answered: "Yes, please!"
Then he drank half of his water, stood up, took his glass of water with him and followed the lady to the guest room, which she took care of while he got ready to go to bed.
Shortly afterwards he was allowed to lie alone in the not so soft bed with his glass of water next to him. It was pleasantly warm. He fell asleep calmly and relaxed, even though it was darker than usual. The moon gave him enough light.
Meanwhile his old friend Italy was freaking out.
Kingdom of Italy stood in front of the extinguished hospital. Of course there were a few people around him who were ensuring his safety.
With his arms closed, he stood there worriedly and observed the situation closely. He was stressed, which you could clearly see from his breathing.
His people were looking for the people from the hospital, hoping to find Reich there, while the Soviet was further away asking the escapees about Third Reich.
After hours, the wounded and dead were found by the hospital, but not all of them. Bodies, including unidentifiable ones, were found under the rubble of the hospital. With each body found, the hope of the Countryhuman grew more dim, fearing for his colleague.
Soviet Union felt the same, even though he didn't know Reich that well. The other Countryhuman, somehow brought a positive feeling to him when he was near him. When Third Reich was happy, he could somehow light up everything with his joy and he missed that. He missed the joy that Reich could bring.
Unfortunately, he didn't find out where the leader had disappeared to either.
Soviet Union was the only one of the two who slept a little later, while Italy was unable to.
Third German Reich woke up at noon. He was disorientated at first, as he wasn't at home or in a hotel and it was quite bright, which bothered him. Once he got used to it, he got dressed and went to the bathroom before going downstairs where he could hear the radio playing.
The house had an earthier smell than he was used to. That didn't mean it smelled dirty, it just meant that nature was very much part of the smell of the house.
Third Reich was hungry and went into the living room where the radio noises were coming from.
The woman sat in an armchair and crocheted quietly. She was so focused on her work that she didn't notice the Countryhuman. Her calm gaze was focused on the sky blue wool she was using to create something small.
"Good morning?", Third Reich said quietly, inadvertently startling her. She flinched and looked at him before giggling a little and Reich apologized.
The lady put her things aside and soon made him food while they chatted about art and colors.
At some point she said: "My Führer, you really should go back. They've already reported on the radio how worried they are about you! We were really happy to have you here, but you're really needed there!"
Reich agreed: "I'll do that! Could I maybe come and visit you now and then?"
"Of course, you're always welcome here!", she said with a smile.
The Countryhuman smiled at that too and said: "You can, but don't have to, always call me your Führer, just Reich suits me perfectly!"
"Oh really?", she asked. "Yes, you really helped me and I'm just a human too... but with a bit more color!", he said and giggled at the end. She was happy and let him eat and drink before Reich gave her money because he was so grateful.
Then he walked back to the city.
《Chapter 15》Newly Found Friendship
Reich continued to walk barefoot, but the stones were no problem for him.
Seeing everything in the light of the sun made him feel much more comfortable and warmer.
His path was so much easier for him.
Everything was full of life! The colors were much more vibrant everywhere. The flowers were colorful and grew everywhere. The green leaves of the trees and the grass seemed to glow.
The birds chirped their songs. Bumblebees and bees flew over the grass, which is why the Countryhuman paid close attention to his path.
He felt so good that by walking in an unusual way, without anything separating him from the ground, he could feel the energy of the earth flowing into his body through his feet.
He felt so good! And all this positive energy accompanied him on his way to his friends and those who needed him.
Third German Reich also hummed a few beautiful songs while he moved to the beat. He didn't just like drawing, but also music!
When he arrived at the edge of the forest, he also discovered a few mushrooms that he knew were not only edible, but also tasted really good when fried with salt and pepper.
He didn't think twice, left the path and climbed over branches and small plants before he arrived.
They were brown mushrooms with dark brown waves on their caps, which reminded him of an umbrella. These mushrooms were very large, their umbrellas were the diameter of his hands.
He carefully broke the stem off the mushroom in front of him and looked at its underside. It had countless grooves that led from the inside to the outside. The mushroom also had a ring on its stem that could be moved, which Reich tried out, as this would confirm that this was the right one and yes, the ring could be moved easily and was not firmly attached.
The Countryhuman smiled broadly and took as many of the most beautiful mushrooms as he could carry, which apparently had not yet been attacked by insects and snails.
Arriving in a kitchen, he would check whether there were any worms hiding inside. He had his hands full and had to go back.
From the forest, he recognized the town and its river not far away, which he found again and went back into the town.
He went out onto the street and of course, all attention was quickly on him and only half an hour later he was in the kitchen of an apartment.
He ran a little bit of cold water over the mushrooms and removed the stem before halving or quartering them one by one so that he could check whether these mushrooms were infested with worms, which they were not and cut out the rest of the stem before peppering and salting both sides while the pan was heating up.
He put some olive oil in the pan when it was hot enough and waited a moment before putting some pieces of mushroom in. Immediately they hissed and splashed around because of the wetness.
The smell of the frying mushrooms filled the kitchen, making him hungrier and making him smile more.
While he was preparing a plate, fork and knife, the door to the apartment opened. Of course, Reich knew it was his old friend Italy.
"Reich?", he asked. The answer was: "I'm in the kitchen!"
After a few steps, the two saw each other and greeted each other with a hug and they patted each other on the back in a friendly way.
"I was afraid for you!", said Kingdom of Italy and took his colleague by the shoulders. He had a big smile.
"Sorry, but I just had to get away from all this!", Reich apologized to him. Italy looked at him more curiously. He said: "I just wanted to be somewhere where America and the Deep State can't find out where I am! I don't want to be afraid for my life! And I lost the meaning and was searching for it!"
Third Reich was hugged tightly by Italy. At first he was surprised, but then returned the kind gesture.
Someone else entered the apartment, which were clearly heavier steps.
"Is that-" Reich wanted to ask. Kingdom of Italy interrupted him: "Yes!" They separated and Soviet Union entered the room, who was also relieved.
Third German Reich remembered his thoughts of wanting to give Soviet a chance, so he looked at him and asked: "Were you worried too?"
Soviet Union was surprised by this, but answered him: "A bit! Not as much as Italy!"
Reich giggled and said: "How about we eat together!"
He went back to his frying mushrooms and turned them over.
"What are those?" asked the big Countryhuman, confused. "Parasols!", said Reich and told him, "I salted and peppered them and am frying them right now!"
"I don't know how something so simple works so well, but they're good, even if Reich sometimes overcooks them!", said Kingdom of Italy.
Soviet said: "I don't know... mushrooms are poisonous!"
"Not these! They're edible! I've been eating them since I was a kid!", Reich told him, "Try one when one's ready!"
Soviet wanted to be friendly, but didn't really want to try the mushroom. He had never eaten mushrooms before.
Reich took care of the first batch of mushrooms and Italy happily grabbed one before the cook took one himself and placed a small piece in front of Soviet Union, who just stared at it uncertainly.
"Big Russian, try it!", said Italy.
Reich said: "Soviet, really try a bite and if you don't like it, you have a kitchen paper to spit in and wash your mouth with water!"
"How do I know it's not a poisonous mushroom?", he said.
Third Reich just said with a smile: "I know about these mushrooms! Trust me!"
Soviet Union sighed and looked at the mushroom before sticking his fork into it to bring it closer to his face. He looked at the piece carefully and smelled it. It was crispy brown on one side, soft on the other and smelled inconspicuously of mushroom.
Reich sat down next to him with a piece on his fork and slowly and eating his piece with a broad smile while Soviet watched him, which only Italy noticed.
Again, Reich's positive energy was so strong that the big Countryhuman pulled himself together and tried his piece.
He didn't know the taste of it at all. It was new, but good... somehow.
Then he looked down again for more and noticed Reich's happy expression and just rolled his eyes, whereupon Reich giggled and stood up to turn the pieces.
The three happily ate all the mushrooms.
《Chapter 16》Unexpected Visit
Reich, Italy and Soviet were playing a board game. It was already evening and Duke was with them.
Laughing, they threw each other out of the game.
"It's the King of Malefiz's turn now!", Third Reich said to himself jokingly.
"Keep dreaming! I've beaten you more often than you can believe!", Italy said cheekily.
Soviet giggled and stayed out of it. He hardly knew the game and wasn't as good friends as the other two Countryhumans, who happily patted each other on the back and shoulders and teased each other in a friendly way.
But he had his eyes on Reich, who seemed happier than he had ever seen him and Reich's happiness infected him and made him happy too. Soviet smiled and looked at the two of them playing.
The two Countryhumans did their best and talked rubbish to each other, which only made them both laugh even more. Italy also opened a beer.
Reich didn't like alcohol, as it was one of the best tricks to get blackmail photos. It was unlikely that something would happen, but the possibility is still there.
Soviet also drank a little beer, because he felt like it.
After winning the game, Kingdom of Italy said: "I still have a few things to do, see you tomorrow!"
"See you then!", Reich said goodbye. Soviet Union said: "Good evening!" "See you tomorrow!", he said and disappeared.
Now Third Reich and Soviet Union were on their own.
"Shall we chat or play?", asked the smaller one. "Chatting would be more pleasant for me!", he said.
Third German Reich asked him: "Don't you like playing so much?" "I do like playing, but I like playing with people I know better much more.", he explained.
"Why is that?", asked the curious Countryhuman. "Well...", said the big one, "Someone ripped me off once and suddenly demanded things because he had won." Reich thought: "Then I understand your reaction very well! Would it still bother you, even if I promise you that I'm fair?" "Yes, it would still bother me!", answered the older man.
Third Reich accepted this and asked: "How is Duke?" "He's fine, except that he misses you!", answered Soviet.
Reich remembered: "Damn! I forgot to tell Italy to bring him tomorrow!" Soviet Union then said: "Oh, I'm sure he's already thinking about it!" Third Reich then said: "I hope so!"
Reich started a new topic: "Do you have a pet too?" "No, but for a while I wanted one."
Third German Reich continued with his questions: "Do you have a wife and children?" Soviet Union shook his head and asked: "You?" "No!", answered Reich somewhat sadly, "I've wanted to find the woman of my life for some time, but my 'family' had to scare everyone away and wants to set me up with a woman thirty years younger than me who recently threw herself out of a window."
"Is she alive?", asked Soviet. "I don't know!", said Reich, "I hope so! She can be really sweet, even if she has been spoiled too much in her life."
"How were the others?", he asked. "Very sweet!", said Reich and smiled.
"Do you have one in mind right now?", he asked. Third German Reich answered: "Unfortunately not! Maybe I'm just too old for that!" "You do know that we can live twice as long as the 200 years that humans are supposed to live?", Soviet reminded him. Reich corrected him: "No, it's not 400 but 300 years and it's not usual for a Countryhuman to live that long and so humans like to say: Our Countryhuman is over 200 years old! Even though they are replaced by younger ones!" "Yes, that happens more often!", he agreed.
Soviet said after a short break from drinking: "So you don't want to keep looking for the right one?" "Exactly! I'll let her come to me, otherwise I'll be looking forever and I've been able to get through almost 60 years without a partner.", replied the injured Countryhuman, while the other understood his decision.
Third Reich now drank too, and Soviet Union asked, although he already knew it but the other didn't: "Do you still draw?" "Oh yes!", he replied, "I love drawing! I won't let myself be stopped!" Soviet smiled at that.
"Would you like to see my drawings?", asked Reich. "I'd love to!", replied his friend.
"My drawings are in Munich right now," he said, "If I get the chance, I'll show them to you!" Soviet nodded.
Reich then asked: "Do you want to read?" "Yes, of course!", was his answer.
They both looked for an interesting book and read.
They read for a while before Soviet said: "Here in the book, two people have been friends since school! That would have been great, if it had been for the two of us!"
"Yes, but you couldn't call the place a school!", said Third German Reich.
Soviet agreed: "Yes! What would you call it?"
"Antitherapy!", said Reich and Soviet giggled, to which Reich replied, "First they give you depression and then life gets even worse! Definitely the opposite of therapy!"
His guest thought: "Great expression for it, I would have said hell, but they crawled out of there!"
Reich giggled at that. They both got along well.
"You were the worst off of us at the time, if I remember correctly," Soviet remembers. Third Reich agreed: "Yes, that wasn't an easy time for me! I always had to cry in secret because the person who called himself my father always had to make me mad and tried to manipulate me. I never want to face him again! He can't be human, he's clearly a demon! His slit eyes are so lifeless and always full of hate and no matter what you do, everything seems like a punishment because you're not like him!"
After a short pause, Reich said: "I feel so sorry for my mom! She is so sweet and full of heart and then he had to show up and..."
It hurt him so much to think that he had hurt his mother so much just so he could exist.
"Even though I was unwanted by her, she loved me so much and I loved her so much! She gave me all her knowledge and strength. Without her, I wouldn't be me! She has opened my eyes again and again with her knowledge. I'm glad to have had her with me.", he said.
Soviet sympathized.
Third Reich then said out of nowhere: "People deserve the truth! We are not just people who are destined to be leaders! Most Countryhumans and politicians are monsters who are all about money, power and not getting arrested! They are doing unspeakable things to this world and have so much more planned! I'm not going to take part in this anymore!" He yelled the last sentence.
His guest, on the other hand, was unsure of this idea. They only had their lives to lose, but if people suddenly found out what was really happening in their world, it might be too much for them or maybe they would turn against them.
"Reich... I don't really know." he doubted, "Do we know what they would do to us? They might see it as a lie or hate us for lying!"
Third German Reich had faith: "I know that we cannot predict their reaction, but my people love me and they will listen to me with full confidence!"
The convinced Countryhuman stood up and went to the telephone.
"Is that really necessary?", asked Soviet. Before he called his secretary, he only got the answer: "Yes!"
Third Reich had announced his speech for the 17th of the month.
《Chapter 17》Heart Speech
Soviet Union still felt unsure about Reich's decision, but Reich was very convinced and so enthusiastic about his fantastic idea that Soviet didn't get any further than trying to express his concerns.
When Reich was convinced, he remained convinced and motivated about that and Soviet now had to learn that, even if he didn't like it.
There were always topics that were so important to the smaller Countryhuman that he couldn't be brought away from it.
It wasn't something bad for humans either. And luckily the only punishment for this act was death, which he had always escaped.
This Countryhuman, even if he was smart, didn't act with smartness, but simply had a lot of guardian angels around him until now.
Duke was now back with his owner, who was lovingly looking after him. The dog could also sense Reich's excitement.
Italian Kingdom didn't quite know how to feel about Reich's idea. He would like to stop him, but on the other hand he knew that this would not do any good and he also wanted to be a good friend, even if in his opinion that is the worst idea Reich could ever have.
During the time of his speech, he practiced what he wanted to say several times a day, but it always changed, so he didn't take notes on what he should say. But he was sure of one thing, his words had to come from his heart and mind.
On the day of his speech, the brave Countryhuman was very excited and yet uncertain and nervous.
Excited, with his breathing quickening and his heart pumping, Reich sat at the kitchen table and ate his lunch.
Duke sensed his excitement and did not leave his side.
Third Reich smiled and ate a big breakfast, as he needed a lot of energy. The excited Countryhuman needed as much energy as he could get.
After he had eaten, he still had time for himself and went for a walk with his dog, as he needed a walk.
The sun was shining beautifully, but it was repeatedly covered by clouds that floated across the sky like a leaf on a stream.
The trees in the city shone with their green leaves. If you looked up under these beautiful trees, someone could easily think that this was a tent that protected you from the sun, as it was particularly warm today and the perfect warm breeze was blowing. It was a pleasantly warm and beautiful day.
There was also a lot going on in the streets. Construction workers were building the walls of a new house. On the other side of the street, some painters were already painting one of the houses. The house was large with many pretty arches. The many people were walking to work or going for walks with their children or other dogs that Duke wanted to play with.
Everything was beautiful and peaceful. It was the perfect day to do something good!
All the people were polite and nice to each other and to their leader, who within a short time had a number of curious people around him.
They were very pleased. Reich found this attention very nice and talked to them. The Countryhuman loved talking to the people and they were also enthusiastic about Duke, especially the children.
One of the children was also brave enough to talk to him and Third Reich talked happily to him.
But, the red Countryhuman also wanted to continue his walk, so he thanked them, said goodbye and continued on.
He felt lighter and less nervous, which also calmed his animal companion.
The two continued relaxed to a meadow and Reich had his dog sit down and went into the meadow before throwing one of the treats he had brought with him.
Duke watched this event closely and was tense because he was desperate to run to find this treat. He was ready to hear just one word and start running.
Reich looked at him and laughed, because his dog was so focused that his front teeth were visible under his nose and it looked as if he had filled his cheeks with air, only that this was far forward on his snout.
"Go!", Reich gave him the command and swung his arm full of energy from his side to in front of him. Without hesitation, Duke ran off and ran about far enough away that five cars could fit between them. He laughed loudly and said: "I can't throw that far!"
The dog sniffed for the treat as he ran across the meadow. He ran back and forth before finding his reward.
"Great!", Reich cheered and clapped a little for his dog, who ran to him wagging his tail and automatically sat down in front of him.
"Stay!", Third German Reich ordered him, took a few steps and threw. Reich gave him the order to run and his dog started to run. As excited as Duke was, Reich had to laugh.
Suddenly he heard steps on the grass and immediately turned around.
He looked very surprised at the big red Countryhuman, who was smiling as he made his way towards him.
"Well, I definitely wasn't expecting you here!", said Reich.
"Surprise!", laughed Soviet, "I wanted to see you one last time, perhaps."
"I won't die that quickly!", said Third Reich, pretending to be insulted, which only made the big man laugh even more.
Reich then said to Soviet Union: "I'm glad to have you here, Soviet!"
"And I'm glad to be here for you.", said the big Countryhuman happily.
Duke only noticed him now and came over to the two of them, barking and wagging his tail. They stroked the dog, but he only had eyes for the treats.
Third German Reich asked Soviet: "Do you want to try it?" "Yes, of course!", was his answer and Reich gave him a treat.
"Stay!", Reich ordered and Soviet threw the treat and it flew further than Reich's and Duke was then allowed to run.
Reich came to Soviet and said, giggling because of the long throw: "Are you trying to make yourself more popular with my dog than me?"
"Why is that?", Soviet didn't understand.
"Because you throw much further.", Third Reich replied.
Soviet immediately tried to cheekily tickle Reich after he had understood. The smaller Countryhuman ran away and the big one followed.
Reich stopped because Duke was coming, but Soviet didn't brake quickly enough and crashed into the other Countryhuman before he fell over and Soviet caught him with his strong arms.
When Third Reich noticed this, he was very grateful. With Soviet's help, Reich was quickly back on his feet and thanked him: "Thank you very much, Soviet!" "No problem!", he just said.
The two men played with the dog for a while before they went back and continued talking. The two got on very well and liked each other.
When they arrived, they went inside and Reich had to change.
However, Duke found a box during this time. The cheeky dog put his nose to the box and opened his mouth, which he put over the corner and bit into the box.
"Duke, stop that!", said Soviet, who didn't know how to get the dog to stop.
The playful animal didn't understand him and pulled on the box. Soviet took the box and Duke wagged his tail more and made wild-sounding noises to encourage Soviet, who didn't understand.
Soviet, who knew nothing about dogs, said to Duke: "You don't have to growl at me!" However, Duke hadn't growled. He was more of a grumble.
Duke made more noises and pulled hard. Soviet also noticed that the dog was pretty strong.
"Reich?", Soviet Union called for help and shortly afterwards the dog owner came out and giggled at Soviet, who was holding the box and Duke, who was playfully holding the other side with his mouth and pulling on it.
Third Reich said to his dog, "Duke out!" He immediately let go of the box and Soviet did the same.
"Duke loves unpacking packages!", laughed Reich and stroked his dog.
The changed Countryhuman was wearing his freshly washed suit. He looked very good in it.
"Looking good!", Soviet said kindly. Reich giggled slightly because he liked this little compliment.
"Now I'm going to eat, just a little something and then we can go!", announced Third German Reich.
After dinner, they drove to Munich. Duke stayed in the apartment. Soviet Union entertained Reich on the way there.
The tall man could have stayed at the apartment or traveled home, but something told him that he should be a good friend and support him and that feeling felt nice. Being there for his friend and accompanying him made both of them feel better.
As soon as they got out in the center of the city, they noticed that a large number of people were there to listen to Third Reich.
Soviet said to Reich: "Looks like you're very popular!" Reich smiled at him.
They went to where there was no one backstage before Soviet Union was hugged by Third Reich, who told him: "Thank you for being there for me!" Soviet grinned and said: "You're welcome!" He hugged him back before they let go.
"Good luck up there!", Soviet Union wished him. "Thank you!", Reich said before turning around and leaving.
The Countryhuman went in and waited his turn. He hadn't told anyone about his plan, except his two Countryhuman friends.
One of his colleagues had just come off the stage. Reich always recognized his long face. He was an absolute asshole, but he had such lovely children with whom Reich used to spend a lot of time, but since the day with Britain he had seen neither him nor his family.
"Have a nice day, Mr. Führer!", the man wished, "Don't you mess it up again!"
Reich said to the man: "Don't worry, dear colleague, I won't mess anything up today!"
Then he walked past him. The excitement in him grew with every step of the stairs as he climbed further and further up. The higher he got, the more light he could perceive and the voices of the people who were only here because of him.
When he got to the top he saw the crowd of people cheering at the sight of their leader.
The sky was gray with a few holes in the blue sky.
With steady steps the red Countryhuman made his way to his position in front of the microphones that would broadcast his words to the country's radios.
The heart of the man standing in front of his people was pounding strongly.
He had already come so far. Now he had to get through this! Now was his time!
Soviet had blended into the crowd to listen to Reich. The people hardly paid him any attention, everyone was focused on Third Reich, who waited until the cheering died down before taking a sip of water, after which he said: "Grüß Gott, my dear fellow humans!"
He started completely differently than usual and he didn't change his voice. Reich spoke relatively normally. Only his excitement and concentration were noticeable in his voice.
"This is not one of my usual speeches!", he announced and continued, "First of all, I wanted to thank you! You always stood behind me and when I needed you, you took me into your homes! I hope that you treat each other as kindly, because this world needs much, much more love!"
Reich responded: "Love is exactly what we need! Unconditional love for one another! Love is the most powerful thing in this world, because real love makes you feel good and makes others want to feel good and whoever has this love doesn't have to be afraid.
With fear you can't really think and act rashly and I'm sorry to say this, but your fears are being exploited!"
The Countryhuman gave the people a moment to think and drank before continuing: "The pharmaceutical industry uses your fear to make drugs that poison you and you think that this is worth the risk!
We have these crappy vaccination laws that only harm your children! You probably haven't been told, but aluminum and other substances are put in them that are toxic and that can make your children sick and disabled for life!"
There was more desperation in Reich's voice. Third German Reich was about to start talking again, but after two sentences he noticed that the microphones had been turned off.
"I w-", Reich wanted to say loudly, but a large hand covered his mouth and he was grabbed by several men while they tried to get the struggling Countryhuman off the stage.
The people didn't like that at all and some shouted loudly in synchronized time: "Release him!" They shouted again and again and the other half, which consisted mainly of men, ran to the stage and freed their leader.
Third Reich was very surprised and grateful to be saved. "Please keep talking for us!", one of them asked him.
The Countryhuman smiled and went to his position. "You are welcome to stay here if you want!", Reich asked them kindly and that is exactly what they did.
Shortly afterwards the microphone was on again and Reich continued: "Only with solidarity and love can everything be achieved! People from other countries are not our enemies! They are our friends!
Because we are all humans, we make mistakes, but we love! We love each other! We love our families! We love our friends and colleagues! Even if not everyone has all of that, love is what unites us and what we should fight for! Love and freedom!
That is why we are now working with the Russians. Communism is rubbish, but not much more rubbish than any other kind of socialism, including National Socialism! You can't put anyone in a box! Everyone is different and that is what defines us! Everyone has a different character, a different soul, a different past and future!"
He drinks again. He is so full of passion when he speaks.
Soviet Union was impressed and listened.
"Just because someone is different, we shouldn't exclude them or not give them a chance! Of course, there are exceptions that you can imagine. People who murder or even dare to do something worse are the worst! They are not part of us, unless they had to kill because they could see no other way out, because unfortunately there are cases like that too!", said the leader.
He talked about it for a while, but he had already said the most important thing. He just deepened the words he had spoken before.
"Thank you for listening, my dear fellow humans!", said Reich and everyone clapped in applause.
The sun shone on everyone with its wonderful warm light. The clouds were now gone and the sky was again a wonderful blue, as if something was saying that this was a good speech.
The Countryman in the audience was simply fascinated and amazed by Third Reich. He admired him now too.
Reich didn't know anything about it yet and drank his glass before he left the stage. His colleagues had disappeared and Soviet Union came to him and said: "You were incredible!"
Third Reich became a little red and said: "Thank you very much Soviet!"
Shortly afterwards they drove back to Duke in the apartment, but on the way there Soviet noticed that he felt a stronger, beautiful feeling, when he saw Reich or just thought about him. Almost as if he had butterflies fluttering around in his stomach while he felt pleasantly warm inside.
《Chapter 18》New Feelings
Soviet Union and Third Reich were almost at the apartment.
The big Countryman was happily remembering Reich's speech. How he had spoken so full of energy and passion about love and what it meant to him.
He had to remember Reich's facial expression, which was full of hope and joy. The light in his wide open eyes, which were full of gentleness and compassion. And his sweet, irresistible smile. He felt a nice tingle as all these memories floated around in his head.
Unfortunately, his feelings were also transferred to his body and the person sitting with him in the car noticed: "Soviet? Your face is turning blood red. Are you okey?" When he said "Soviet?" the man looked at him.
The blushing became embarrassing and he turned redder out of embarrassment while he tried to come across calmly and play it down: "I'm fine! Don't worry!" Unfortunately, Soviet Union also lied: "It's probably just the warm temperatures here!"
"But today is not such a warm day and you didn't have any other problems here. Are you angry?", asked Third Reich.
Soviet Union lied to somehow escape the situation: "Yes, I am! I am so angry about this whole situation we are in!" Reich said: "I can understand that, but please don't let your anger go to your head, because we still have a lot to do. Maybe reading will calm you down a bit!" "Yes, I also think that reading could help me!", he agreed.
They arrived at the apartment shortly afterwards. Third Reich saw the door slightly open and froze. "Duke?", he asked louder. Soviet quickly realized what was going on. Someone must have broken in.
Fortunately, Duke came out of the apartment wagging his tail. Reich immediately stroked him and said kind words to him, saying how brave he was.
Meanwhile, Soviet Union went to the chauffeur and asked him to call the police.
The Countryhumans and the dog waited outside the house and when the police showed up they searched the apartment.
"I didn't want to cause so much excitement in one day!", said Reich, giggling. To which Soviet replied: "It's fine! It wasn't your fault! The main thing is that we're fine."
The police came out and said: "Nobody is here and nothing was destroyed, but yes, someone broke in and probably wasn't expecting your dog. They probably didn't even know beforehand that it was there, so it shouldn't happen again."
"Thank you!", said Reich, thanking him and standing up with his companions. They said goodbye to the police.
"Should we calm down and then maybe go to an restaurant? I'm getting pretty hungry.", said Reich, giggling at his suggestion. "Gladly!", said Soviet Union.
Shortly afterwards, the two men were sitting on the sofa and calming down from all the excitement by reading. Meanwhile, the dog was lying next to Third German Reich on his mattress.
Reich asked Soviet Union: "Soviet? Are you going home today?" "I don't think so!", he says before asking, "Can I sleep in the guest room again?" "Yeah, sure!", he got as an answer. Soviet Union said: "Then I'll just go to the Russian embassy tomorrow." Third Reich nodded and focused on his book again.
Soviet Union wanted to go to the embassy because he was still working as a Countryhuman and the embassy was sending his work to the USSR. They knew he was in the area.
The tall Countryhuman looked up from his book and saw Third Reich staring intently into the book. He was almost staring, so this scene must be exciting or it was just a good book.
Soviet's body warmed up again and his feelings for Reich bubbled up inside him.
An hour later both Countryhumans were ready and walked down the street with Duke.
It was already dark and the streetlights guided every traveler.
The two Countryhumans and the dog walked quietly down the street. A few people came towards them on their way.
Of course, there were, as always, enthusiastic people. But there were also people who felt uncomfortable seeing the two leaders, but Reich and his guest paid them no attention.
The two went into the restaurant together. It had a large wooden door with a pretty pattern.
Soviet Union held the door open for Reich, like a gentleman and of course he thanked him.
Shortly afterwards, a few more people came, which Soviet saw, but he did not hold the door open for them, as he still felt a little uncomfortable holding the doors for humans up, even though he wanted to get rid of that feeling.
At least he now had the right idea. Carrying it out was another story.
The three walked down the white-painted hallway, which had an arch in the ceiling. There were two chests of drawers that told something about the inn. Old pictures and quality certificates hung on the walls.
The tiles had a pretty pattern, which were large squares with smaller squares between them. It was clean, but this was definitely not an exclusive business. This was a normal family business, like almost every other restaurant that Third German Reich had already seen.
There were several ways. A double door near the entrance on the right led to a banquet hall. Another door, but on the left, led with a small step into the normal guest room. Then, on the right, were the toilets and in front of them was another double door.
Unfortunately, since the place was not well labeled, they went straight through the wooden door. Once again, Soviet was a gentleman to Third Reich, who was pleased about this kindness.
Now they were in a larger room. To the left was the bar and to the right were tables and chairs, but no one was sitting there. In front of them was another door and next to it were windows.
"I think we're in the wrong place.", said Third German Reich. Soviet Union confirmed: "I think so too!" Unlike Reich, he looked out the window and then said: "Maybe we'll take a quick look out!"
They went through the door where a woman was smoking. The two Countryhumans and Duke walked past her. They didn't even really see her.
Soviet led the two to the castle walls. They were on a hill and from the castle walls they could look at the city below.
Reich was immediately amazed by the wonderful view they had. It was possible to see most of this industrial city and a few lights in the distance. You could certainly see quite far into the distance during the day.
The city glowed and lived in front of them. Cars and trains passed through the small town. It was so beautiful to watch.
It didn't smell as bad as you would think. But it was already a little cold, as it was autumn and winter was approaching.
Stars could be seen above them, but the moon was not visible. Soviet was able to quickly locate the constellation of the Great Bear.
Both Countryhumans admired the scenery of the night city for a while before they went in.
This time they found their way to the bar and Third Reich entered first with Duke, followed by Soviet Union.
Inside, on the right was the bar and on the left were the chairs, benches and tables, both of which were made of wood. Seat cushions were attached to the chairs. The benches had red upholstery and the tables had two table covers, the large ones white and the smaller ones red.
The ceiling was supported by wooden beams and there were thinner boards above them so that the ceiling looked nice.
A pleasant woody smell could be smelled in the room and also the smell of fresh food and it was pleasantly warm in the room thanks to the tiled stove on the wall. The tiles of the stove were clay colored and had vine decorations on them.
The windows had an arch at the top and on the side that you first see when you enter, there were recesses in the wall that were also semi-circular and in the middle of these recesses, there were drawings of Christianity. Around the recesses and windows, old bricks were built into the wall.
The lamps were nothing unusual. They consisted of a cable from the ceiling, a lampshade and the light bulb.
At each table there were candles, some decorations, salt, pepper and a jug that contained a fork, knife and napkin.
Some tables, especially near the window and the stove, were occupied. Mainly men were there to enjoy their well-earned evening after a long, hard day at work.
Reich also quickly realized that there were a few who actively showed that they were part of the Workers' Party.
He ignored this and sat down on the bench of an empty table in the middle of the room, on the right side. Soviet sat down next to him on the other side and Duke lay down under the table.
Both were already very hungry, especially Reich, since he had given a speech a few hours ago.
The two unusual guests quickly attracted a lot of attention. Soviet Union was a little annoyed by this, but they were in public and there was nothing he could do. It would be exhausting for Reich to interact with so many people now. All three longed for peace or at least quiet company.
The waitress came over and brought the Countryhumans the menus. She was very nervous as she handed them the menus and greeted the guests. "You can relax!", Reich said, "We're just having a decent day, my dear and we're longing for a good meal." She nodded.
She was still not that relaxed, but asked: "W-What can I offer you to drink?" "A glass of water, please!", asked Soviet. Third Reich said: "For me too, please!" She nodded and left, giving her Reich a polite smile.
Soviet didn't like this very much, however and you could see it, as his eyebrows dropped and a few wrinkles appeared. His companion noticed this and asked: "Are you OK?" Soviet noticed this, smiled at him and answered him with a slight smile and a friendly face: "Yes, everything's fine!"
This calmed Third German Reich and he looked at the folder in which the dishes were.
First there was the daily menu, which had nothing for him. Fortunately, the other page had vegetable cream soup, pretzel soup, bread soup, asparagus cream soup and pancake soup. He liked all of these dishes. It was a pity that there was no tomato soup on it, otherwise this restaurant would also be something for Italy.
Just thinking about these soups made his mouth water. The beautiful taste of the soups in his memory made him even more hungry.
He didn't find pretzel soup that often and loved the taste, so he had that as a starter before turning the pages.
There were mainly meat dishes on the next pages, but he had picked out three dishes that particularly appealed to him, which were cheese spaetzle and dumplings with cream or mushroom sauce. Even though he liked dumpling dishes, he needed variety today. He wanted cheese spaetzle.
Soviet Union decided to eat something vegetarian out of respect for Reich. He had a small salad without tomatoes and meat plants also without tomatoes.
Shortly afterwards, the two men got their water and ordered. While they were waiting, they talked a little more.
After about an hour, they were finished and started talking to each other again and other people came over, talking to the Countryhumans and Reich was given one alcoholic drink after another. Of course, he didn't want to say "no" and got drunk.
With a red tint where his nose was, he showed Soviet by his appearance that he was drunk.
Third Reich laughed and couldn't think properly anymore, which is why Soviet Union had to look after him and had to take him home.
He carefully put Reich to bed and he just made himself comfortable and fell asleep.
Soviet watched him before leaving his room and going to Duke, from whom he took the leash.
The dog lay tired and stretched out in his bed. A little disappointed that he hadn't had any of the food in the restaurant.
The Countryhuman, still awake, went into the guest room and sat on his bed. The evening with Reich was very nice and he kept thinking about how loving Third Reich was. Even if he didn't want to think or believe it, the bubbling feelings inside him were his love for Reich and this was not just normal love, he was in love.
《Chapter 19》Triple Agent
Reich woke up in the morning and looked at his dog, who was still sleeping. Duke was stretched out in his dog bed.
Third Reich was fine. Fortunately, he hadn't drunk too much and his body was able to recover during his sleep.
Nevertheless, he decided to lie in bed a little longer.
However, someone thwarted his plan by knocking on the door.
Of course Duke got up and barked as he hurriedly get up.
Meanwhile, the Countryhuman put something on before trotting to the front door.
Shortly afterwards he opened the door. And found none other than Italy in front of him.
The dog squealed excitedly and Kingdom of Italy greeted Duke, who was wagging his tail excitedly and tried to lick the giggling visitor's face.
"Come in!", said Third Reich and let him in.
Italy said: "It's so good to see you again!" Then Reich was hugged by his best friend.
"I'm very pleased too!", he said, "Soviet is here too! But he probably has to go to the embassy soon. I'd have to leave then too."
"Then I can actually go to my embassy and do some work, like you two.", said the visitor.
Reich thought: "That's a good idea, but come in first!"
They went in and Soviet Union was sitting at the dining table with a coffee. The sight made Italy joke: "Hello Soviet! The way you're sitting there, you look like you could live with Reich!"
Soviet giggled jokingly, but inside he liked the idea of living with Third Reich.
Reich giggled too and said: "We're so comfortable here!" "Without me!?", said Italian Kingdom with a little too much drama, which earned him laughter, which he joined in.
Everyone sat at the kitchen table and while they enjoyed their breakfast together, they told Italy about the previous day, with Italy listening attentively.
Soviet Union mainly looked at Reich, who was telling the story, but he didn't just look at him because he was telling the story, but because he liked his voice, which he found angelic and he got a good look at him.
The tall man looked at his healing wounds and the way Reich's face moved. The stitches were slowly disappearing. He also had bruises around his head.
Suddenly there was another knock on the door, which interrupted Soviet's thoughts with Duke's barking.
Third Reich stood up again and went to the front door, where an old familiar man was standing in front of him.
Reich said happily: "What are you doing here? I haven't seen you in a while!"
The man in front of him said: "It's just a bit difficult to do my work." He briefly looked more closely at Reich's head and added: "It doesn't seem to be easy for you to do your work either." Third German Reich had to giggle at the comment.
"Come in!", Reich said to him and made room for him before he went in.
Italy and Soviet looked at the man. When Italy recognized him, he stood up, went over to him and joked: "The new beard suits you!"
This familiar man always had to change his style for work, which he didn't particularly like, so he just rolled his eyes and made Italy laugh.
"Don't joke about my beard!", he said in a tone that was not serious, because he could live with being annoyed like that before he said, "I hope I can shave off that scratchy thing soon!"
Soviet Union, on the other hand, was unsure whether the man was not faking something and was actually a bad person.
The human had now also noticed the big red Countryhuman, who was throwing him suspicious looks. "Don't be like that, Soviet Union!", he said, "I'm on the good side!"
"There is no good side with the Illuminati, unless you mean the bad one!", the Countryhuman whispered.
The man smiled more and said: "Don't think in such black and white terms as they do! Then at least I don't have to introduce myself, but no, I'm on the side of the liberators and not the enslavers. Your good colleague Reich here was a great enlightenment for me! His colorful character only had to convince me that every living being is equally valuable and I was on board!"
Reich asked: "Why don't you ever warn me when something happens?"
"I only found out about the plans to kill you afterwards. I think they know about my contact with you.", the man answered and sat down, "I'm here because I think I won't be with you any more soon-"
"Excuse me?", said Third Reich, shocked.
"I'm probably going to die soon and I wanted to come to you one last time and try to help you before I go back.", he replied, before saying, "It's not that I didn't want to."
Reich said him: "Don't say that! I don't want you to die and stop wishing that! It's terrible to have to hear that!"
Soviet didn't quite know how to react to that, but it seemed genuine. He distrusted the man very much, but it didn't seem fake, even if it was strange that he wanted to die.
"Reich, I've worked for them for far too long and there's no other way away from them. They could find me anywhere and they'd easily walk over dead bodies.", he said, "Please let's just sit down and talk about the information."
Third Reich didn't sit down and stepped back a little before saying: "Fight with us for freedom! We need you!"
"I'm sorry. I'm too deeply involved in this.", he said, "We can talk about it later, but first we'll talk about my information, otherwise I'll leave right away." He threatened this to convince Reich to sit still.
Third German Reich gave in and sat down with Italy.
The man began: "So USA is planning to launch a major bombing attack on all major cities and these attacks are to last for a week next month. Soviet Union is to be replaced by one of its clones. Canada will also take part in the war and should take back Great Britain. Japanese Empire is to have two major bombing attacks and it is to be shown that it is a completely new technology, even though it is just more bombs. And you, Italy, are to be locked up and killed."
Reich nodded, but his agent was not finished yet: "Reich, you are to be made afraid and the media is to be incited against you. You have to defeat the media and then the system. And they are planning to do something to get you to come to them, but that is only something I overheard."
Reich nodded. He didn't quite know what to say.
The three of them talked to each other about the statements while Third Reich just sat there quietly. Soviet especially noticed this while the human and Italy were talking.
The big Countryhuman stood up and sat down next to Reich on his chair. He wanted to show somehow that he was there for him and put his hand on Reich's left shoulder blade.
"Was all of this a bit much for you?", Soviet Union asked him sympathetically. His friend nodded and tears formed in his eyes. Without hesitation, Soviet took Reich in his arms.
Third German Reich started to cry while Soviet Union held him close. He just wanted to see his friend happy again and to achieve this goal he had to calm down first, which is why the big Countryhuman stroked Reich's back with his big hand. Very gently and lovingly he treated the smaller one, who put his arms around Soviet's chest and to his back.
They hugged for a while and Third Reich managed to calm down. Soviet raised his head slightly to look at the one he was in love with, who looked up at him with big, tear-filled eyes. The taller one said to him gently: "Nothing is certain and he is still here, so maybe you should make the most of this time."
Reich smiled at Soviet's words, nodded and said: "Thank you Soviet!" The one addressed only smiled more.
They broke away from the embrace and when Soviet tried to sit back, he noticed that all the attention of the other two, Italy and the human, was focused on him and Reich.
"What is it?", asked Reich in surprise. Kingdom of Italy said: "It's fine, you were just so close when you hugged."
"It doesn't make any difference!", thought Reich, "Hugs are always close and very good!" Soviet was happy and blushed slightly.
Italy noticed this, but he was unsure whether this reaction was out of embarrassment.
The four talked a bit before Italy ambushed Soviet Union after he was in the toilet and blocked his way.
The taller one was visibly confused and asked Italy: "Could you please move aside?"
"Why did you blush after hugging Reich?", he asked him seriously.
Confused, Soviet asked him: "I'm blushing? I'm already blood red and have been since I was born!" Kingdom of Italy looked at him unimpressed.
"If I find out that you're one of those homosexuals, you'll have big problems with me!", threatened the protective one.
Soviet Union tried to calm him down: "I'm not! I like women! I don't like men, but whatever woman gets Reich must be incredible!"
Italy calmed down and nodded in agreement: "He's something very special and I think he could use a woman who can understand his chaos and get him under control."
Both smiled again. Soviet asked him: "And do you already have someone?" "Well...", he said uncertainly, "I've already had my eye on a hot woman, but she hasn't been visiting much since the war and she's pretty, but so seductive and likes to be in control-", Italy interrupts himself and blushes.
"Then good luck with her!", Soviet says and walks past him.
The big Countryhuman sat down again.
What if Reich reacted to his feelings the same way Italy had just now. He wasn't gay, but Reich still attracted him more than anyone else. Was it really romantic love that he felt or was it just his admiration? How would he find out?
What could he do to find out if he really felt that way? And would Reich hold it against him? Was Reich even interested in him in that way?
He felt a hand on his shoulder and Reich asked him: "Soviet, is something wrong?"
Then the man looked at him, smiled and said: "No, everything is fine!"
《Chapter 20》Case of hope
Soviet was always absent and lost in his thoughts and he could feel more and more how much he wanted Reich by his side forever. Reich had to be his.
He wanted so much to feel his lips and his soft skin, which reflected his inner softness well, just like his calm eyes. Just these thoughts made his cheeks turn red again.
"You're not paying attention at all, are you, Soviet?", Italy asked him, tearing the tall man out of his thoughts, who had to giggle slightly and blush more.
The person who had spoken to him said: "Concentrate better, this is very important and you have to go back to work afterwards!" Soviet agreed: "I know! I'm just thinking about-" "Are you thinking about more important things or are your thoughts changing the world?", he asked. The man gave a relenting answer: "Unfortunately not!"
Soviet tried to concentrate as best he could, but his emotions got in the way and he couldn't think much about the disasters and events that lay ahead.
Reich, on the other hand, was much more focused and tried to come up with a plan to reduce the funding for the public media and increase the funding for smaller local media, as they are less bad at spreading propaganda and have more positive and important news to spread.
And next he should either abolish all parties or find an alternative for them if the shift could be too big for his people. He had to get rid of the workers Party! If he achieved this, he would have more control and less contact with those who wanted to harm him.
The problem was that he was unsure if people would really be so positive about an autocrat, but he could say that it was for that, that it was another step back to their old roots and that this would only be temporary until the war was won.
Then he would probably have to go to German Empire and his partner Austria-Hungary to give them back their rightful land and dissolve the company. Germany would start and the other countries would follow, as each country still had its borders but companies were placed over them.
There was one more problem with Third Reich as sole ruler and that was he had to find someone trustworthy to continue his plan if they did kill him.
However, he didn't know anyone who could take on that role. Soviet had his own problems and they wouldn't accept his leadership. Italy had enough problems too. His old friend would be an idea but would be a little too inexperienced and more accessible to their enemies and besides it would probably have to be a Countryhuman rather than a human, but he would still be the best choice if at all.
The doorbell rang again. Third Reich walked over while Duke barked excitedly as he always did and one of the people who worked for Reich brought him his weekly letters.
Shortly afterwards, the Countryhuman sat down with the others again and read his letters. They weren't particularly special letters, but one that was handwritten stood out. In the letter, the young woman who his "family" said he was going to marry wrote that she wanted to apologize for her behavior and that if he had time, she should visit him in the hospital and that she wouldn't jump out of the window this time.
The Countryhuman was amazed that she had survived this daring fall. Unsure whether she had changed that much, he still did, because that wasn't really her style. When she had something in her head, she followed through. But an experience like that could have had a big impact on her.
Shortly afterwards, the agent left the three Countryhumans, who spent a short time with Duke and then went to work. The USSR now supported the Third Reich with materials it needed in the war and the Third German Reich supported the USSR with some of the finished products, which quickly made both of them much stronger than the USA.
However, the declarations of war on the Third Reich continued. But Reich was not afraid. Because he now knew that he had a company strong enough that these declarations of war were not something he could not handle.
Italy, on the other hand, had problems in its own company and could concentrate less on the war.
After work, Third Reich drove to the hospital because he had to at least make sure she was okey.
He was a little hesitant, how could he not? She had given him a huge fright and he also thought that she had killed herself.
He was glad that she was alive, because no one should have to die. It was the end before the cycle starts all over again, but everyone should still have a good life and enjoy it until the body dies and the soul can go away in peace.
Restless souls of living beings who die unexpectedly with pain wander the world for longer to find peace and to go away, to return to where they came from and then to have new experiences in this world.
Third German Reich didn't have any flowers with him this time because it had hurt him so much the last time. The Countryhuman went inside and went to her new room, which she had written in her letter.
He stopped briefly in front of the wooden door, hesitating. He looked uncertainly at the door in front of him before opening it and walking through.
Inside he found the young woman lying in her bed reading a book. She had some bandages around her and looked battered, but she was definitely calmer than last time.
She was on the ground floor and didn't look like she was even going to try to walk anymore, so jumping out the window was no longer an option for her.
The woman noticed him, put down her book and greeted him: "Hello! I didn't expect you to follow my request!"
"Well, I have to at least check on you!", he tells her as he comes closer to her and stands next to her.
"Reich, I'm sorry! I don't really know what got into me!", she apologized, which was surprising for the Countryhuman, "I must have given you a huge fright!"
Third Reich was unsure how to react and simply nodded, because she was right, she had scared him to death.
"I'm not quite sure why I reacted like that again.", she said, "That was a bad idea on my part! And I was even more impulsive than usual."
"Do you want to kill yourself again?", Reich changed the subject. She said: "I don't know... I was promised your hand-"
The young woman was interrupted by Third Reich: "I will not marry you or be in a relationship with you! We are not suited to each other, you are too young for me and I do not love you in this way! Forgive me, but I have to make this clear to you, even if it hurts!"
"I understand it now, even if it took me a while. I also don't know if life with you will be so pleasant, because I don't like a man who is camera-shy, who has so much to talk about and when he comes up with something that could change the world, he implements this idea without even thinking about it.", she admits, "I don't know if you need it, but unfortunately that's not me! I thought about it carefully, all the sitting there in silence."
The Countryhuman was very surprised by this. "I held on to these false promises.", she said, "What else am I supposed to be? I can't work where my father works!"
"Why can't you do that?", the older man asked her, "You like taking photos and films! I'm sure your father can show you a few things and he probably knows someone who would need a camerawoman!" She smiled. He added: "I could also find you someone who could train you!"
"Would you really do that?", she asked. He replied: "Of course!" She smiled broadly and thanked him: "Thank you, really thank you very much!" Third Reich smiled and said: "I hope that you also find a partner who is more suited to your temperament and impulsiveness!" She giggled.
Third German Reich said: "I should go and take a walk with Duke now! I hope to see you again though!"
"I hope so too!", she said to him and said goodbye, "I hope that you too will find the right partner and have a long life! See you soon!" "Goodbye and get well soon!", he said goodbye.
Reich then left the room and drove off to pick up Italy, relieved.
Kingdom of Italy sat down next to him, as the two still had to pick up Soviet.
"So? Where were you?", Italy asked him. Reich answered: "With a friend who was promised my hand!" His best friend giggled. "She apologized and admitted that we don't belong together!" the red Countryhuman told him. The white one was also surprised.
"What kind of woman do you think would be right for me?", Reich asked his best friend.
After thinking about it for a while, he said: "She should be calm and in control in panic situations. Maybe a woman who isn't too small, because you need hugs more!" Third Reich laughed, amused.
"Your wife should be able to cope with your ideas about the world and she should treat all living beings with respect and have no problem with having to live a vegetarian lifestyle.", said Kingdom of Italy.
《Chapter 21》Emotional Kitchen
Reich and Italy picked up their third companion. Soviet was happy to see his new friends.
He sat next to Italy, as he was sitting in the middle. He would have loved to sit next to Reich, but Reich enjoyed always looking out the window and Italy sat next to his good friend.
Soviet had to stop himself from looking at the person he had feelings for. During the ride, Italy and Reich mostly talked, while Soviet remained silent.
After this short ride, they arrived at the apartment and were soon ready to go for a walk with Duke, who was excited about it. Soviet and Italy accompanied Reich and his dog after the three of them changed.
They drove out of town and onto a small gravel road surrounded by fields and trees.
The small group walked happily along the road.
Duke sniffed the side of the road. To be on the safe side, Third Reich had his dog's leash with him in case someone came towards them, but otherwise Duke was well trained to be off leash while walking.
Third Reich was talking to his friends: "We really should go out for ice sometime!"
Soviet Union said: "It hasn't snowed yet and I don't know if eating ice would be the best idea!"
"Soviet, Reich means ice cream!", Italy explained to him. The big Countryhuman immediately apologized: "Sorry about that!"
"It's fine!", said Reich. "But I've never had ice cream either!", answered Soviet Union.
Duke quickly walked between them while Reich said: "Then it's really time you tried it!"
They walked to a pond. Part of the bank was raised, but the three of them didn't notice this until Duke was of his leash and was bathing.
Reich just sighed at his playful dog. They watched him until Duke was finished because the water was getting too cold for him.
Duke tried to push himself out, but it was too hard for him, so Soviet came to him, held him by his sides and pulled.
Soviet used his strength to pull Duke up. After that the dog ran off and the Countryhuman walked smiling to his two friends.
He stood next to him and smiled at the relieved dog, who was being petted by his rescuer.
Reich looked at Soviet, who smiled at the dog.
This man had just saved his dog without hesitation and Duke was also delighted about it.
Soviet was mostly quiet and always there when he needed closeness and he was always there for him and also when he told his ideas. Soviet had done so much for him!
Soviet risked his life to save him and even though it wasn't his best moment, he did it for Reich.
Now Reich also got butterflies in his stomach. He smiled over at the big Countryhuman, who was petting his dog and was so happy to have Soviet Union with him.
Soviet didn't notice his friend for a moment because he was focused on the black and brown wet dog, which shook itself off and caught each of the three.
Italy sighed in annoyance and Reich laughed. "Yes, yes, just laugh! You're lucky to have more clothes with you than I do!", said Kingdom of Italy.
"Only your jacket is wet Italy, it will dry quickly!", said his friend. Then he was reminded: "And my pants?" "I'd be happy to borrow one of mine!", offered the slightly bigger Countryhuman.
Soviet, on the other hand, had no problem with being splashed with water, but didn't find it quite as funny as Reich. The dog shook itself again, but everyone paid attention and went away.
Shortly afterwards, the three of them walked back along the path to the car, where they got in and drove back.
On the drive back, Reich often had to look at Soviet, as he was curious about what drew him to Soviet.
Soviet Union also looked at him from time to time, before they awkwardly avoided each other's gaze, while Kingdom of Italy sat confused in the middle. Now both were behaving strangely and he didn't know how to react, nor what was going on in his friends' heads.
"How about we go out for ice cream?", asked the Countryhuman, who was sitting in the middle. Reich looked at his old friend, surprised but also smiling happily and said to him: "That's a great idea, if there's still an ice cream café open!"
The driver took the three to an ice cream café that was only open for a few more days and they went in, Duke coming with them.
The dog sat under the table while the three sat down. Hardly anyone was in the café, but the Countryhumans enjoyed that.
"I'm looking for someone to serve us!", said Kingdom of Italy, stood up and set off.
Meanwhile, the two lovers were alone and not far from each other. Both of their hearts were beating strongly in their chests as they looked at each other and smiled.
Soviet was also calm and excited, while Reich was much more excited and needed more movement, so he started playing with his fingers.
Then Italy came back and they ordered. Reich and Soviet no longer had such interaction because they were focused on Italy or their ice cream.
The three Countryhumans spent a lot of time together over the next two months. Reich now had to manage the war against any country or company that was not part of the Axis powers and Ireland and USSR were not against him either, but in the USSR as well as in Italy and the Third Reich they attempts were made to incite people to a civil war or a change of power, but only in Italy did this have more effect.
Reich encouraged his people and with Soviet everything remained pretty much the same, except that he sought more cooperation with other companies, but Italy no longer had as much, lost more of the territory he had once won and did not accept any help. He was no longer portrayed as well by his company's media either.
Reich, Soviet and Italy were managers, but their companies did not belong to them. Nevertheless, they had their means and ways of maintaining control, since no one was allowed to see who really owned these companies.
Reich had restructured a lot and was increasingly destroying the socialist construct. Now everyone should slowly be treated fairly again and he did not allow anyone to work against it.
Italy was planning a short vacation to the east, to Asia, which he had not been able to do for a long time, but with the help of Soviet Union he was finally able to go there again.
"How long are you going to be away?", asked Soviet, who was watching him pack. Italy and Soviet were once again with Third Reich, who had already found new accommodation.
"About three weeks!", came from him. Soviet Union remembered the conversation not so long ago when Italy had cornered him and said: "Are you visiting your girlfriend?"
"No!", he answered quickly, "We're friends and I want to surprise her!" "Will she throw herself at you or you at her?", asked Soviet and grinned cheekily as Italy turned his head to him annoyed and repeated, "We're just friends!"
Third Reich came into the room and said: "Don't forget your toothbrush!" Happy, but also a little sad, Reich handed him it. "Thank you!", said Italy, "Soviet, you should be just as helpful as our Reich!" Both giggled at his statement.
Reich then hugged Italy happily and Italy hugged him back briefly and said: "You know that I'm not leaving now, I'm just packing and I'm leaving tonight?"
"I know that, but I already miss you!", said Third Reich. Italy sighed and smiled.
Soviet Union watched them and wished he could be part of the embrace, but he wasn't someone who hugged others so easily and if he did, he didn't hug them like Reich did with both arms around someone.
Reich was so gentle and loving and warmed Soviet's heart. He was now sure that he was in love, but still too insecure to tell anyone, especially since he only trusted the person he was in love with enough to tell him as a friend, but that wasn't possible because he was in love with him too.
Meanwhile, Reich was trying to satisfy his feelings by spending time with Soviet, by reading with him or by drawing and Soviet tried to watch secretly, but Third Reich didn't fall for it and knew that he was watching.
Both were wondering if they really wanted this relationship. They enjoyed each other's love, attention, character and talent, but imagining a life with someone was difficult. Countryhumans rarely hung out with their own kind and the two were men by human standards, so it was better not to do anything public, but if one of those fighting them found out, the two would probably have big problems. They both wanted each other's closeness and love.
Third Reich broke the embrace and Italian Kingdom let go of him as well.
Reich tried to carry the first fully packed suitcase, to which Soviet Union asked: "Shall I help carry it to the door?" "That would be very nice!", said the traveling man. Soviet stood behind Reich and grabbed him by the waist with a smile before lifting him up without any problem.
Reich immediately blushed and looked wide-eyed at the large hands on his waist. "Not Reich!", said Italy with a sigh, "My luggage!"
Soviet Union said: "Sorry for the mix-up!" He wasn't sorry, because he could finally be closer to Reich and see that he was clearly the one with more control. The smaller Countryhuman was put down and Soviet packed the suitcases and carried them to the door. Reich looked after him. He had liked being lifted up like that.
《Chapter 22》The Trap
Soviet Union brought the suitcases through the hallway. Reich also came to him with another suitcase, but it was lighter because the bigger one of them had carried the heavier ones.
The smaller of the two was still a little blushing.
"Your white has gained an astonishing amount of color!", Soviet said cheekily. Reich said jokingly: "That's your fault, live with it!"
Soviet Union laughed at his statement and said: "I'm happy to live with it, it suits you!" This only made Reich blush even more and said: "I think my normal white suits me better, otherwise I would have to dye my white fingers too!" "They look beautiful the way they are!", said the big Countryhuman.
"Can you stop! If it keeps up like this, you'll be making pick-up lines!", Italy said and both laughed, which made him giggle.
After they had calmed down, Italy said: "We haven't listened to the radio for a long time, how about if we hear what the media is saying about us, so that we can follow our friend's advice." "That's a good idea!", agreed Soviet. Reich, however, was less certain: "You're right, but what if they're talking rubbish again!" "Then we'll laugh about it!", said Italy.
They sat down in the living room, where Duke was lying on his mattress. He loved his soft mattress. Third Reich turned the radio on and on the right frequency.
The three Countryhumans chatted for a short while and Reich gave his traveling friend a book for the trip. Italy didn't read books very often, but he liked them to pass the time.
The important news came and portrayed Reich as an autocrat driven mad by power. They laughed about it. It was also reported how the Countryhuman had repealed the punishment of Jews, homosexuals, communists, etc. and that the judges who no longer sentenced them as equal to normal people would lose their jobs and would never be allowed to work as judges again.
They did not mention anything more about Reich's actions, except that they said that this was a huge danger. But these people were not criminals for the most part. But the criminals among them had to be re-sentenced while they were in custody. Better safe than sorry!
Reich also had to do something so that people somehow got more justice, but this was more difficult than expected.
The news claimed that a takeover of power was to take place in the USSR through another revolution, but Soviet just laughed loudly because nothing like that happened in his company, because everything was quiet.
Slowly the media tried to portray America as the good guys, but it was far too obvious, so everyone laughed.
Next, the war was discussed, that the Third German Reich was advancing ever deeper into the interior of North America and that the Japanese Empire was also a great help.
Then more local things were reported and it became less interesting for the two foreign Countryhuman.
Suddenly, something very unusual came on the news. "In addition, two people were killed and others were seriously injured in riots in an office this morning. A group of four Jews and a large number of men from the Nazi Party had an altercation in which a German man and a Jew was killed. The Jew was even hung like a flag from one of the buildings in the city center.
Another German and a Jew were seriously injured and another Jew was only slightly injured. We have also been able to identify who these people were. The deceased Jew's first name was A-... and his last name was Ro-... he recently came here from the United Kingdom...", Reich heard on the radio.
With each sentence, he became more tense, down to the first name, after which he blocked out almost everything, down to what assured him who it was and where his body was.
The two Countryhumans noticed less and were surprised when Third Reich jumped up and ran frantically out of the apartment. Both Countryhumans stood up in shock. Soviet ran after Reich and Italian Kingdom put the pieces together and made a phone call.
Reich ran out in a panic. He was in such a state of shock that he had only one goal, he had to get there! He asked someone to let him in the cat and travel there. Soviet Union lost him, but got a taxi to him.
Luckily, Soviet had his hat on because the weather had gotten colder, but he was not particularly warmly dressed because he was missing his coat and boots. Meanwhile, the panicked Countryhuman had nothing at all to protect him from the cold.
Reich only had to change trains a few times before he ran over and found the police and barriers.
"Where is the man who was hanged?", he asked the officers. They answered him: "He is on the highest floor of the building! He was just taken down from the flagpole."
Reich ran inside in a panic, but the police did not stop him.
Reich ran up the three floors, panting. He ran along the hallway to the room where he thought he would find the body and sure enough, there it was.
Reich ran to him and saw how badly his friend had been mutilated.
There were cuts everywhere and he had been stabbed several times.
Reich was shaking all over.
Then he heard a loud shot, which made him jump and whimper. All of this was too much for him.
Someone ran to him and he crouched down in fear of being killed, but the voice of the big Countryhuman only told him: "Reich, I'm here! You don't have to be afraid anymore. I'll protect you!"
The frightened Countryhuman looked up at Soviet, who looked worried as he crouched down and gently stroked his back. He slowly and gently put his arms around him, with Reich hugging him tightly and squeezing him tightly. Soviet hugged back and stroked his back.
Meanwhile, Reich's shock turned to grief, so he started crying on his friend's shoulder, who gave him his time and let Third Reich let it all out.
Soviet told him reassuringly: "I'm staying with you! You're safe!"
"Why does it have to be so hard to kill a single little Countryhuman?!", a woman grumbled in the background.
Soviet let go of Reich, although he still needed it because he was protecting Reich behind him and pointing the gun at the door.
Reich cried more in fear and tried to keep quiet, but nothing came of it as he started to panic again and was shaking violently.
Poland reached her arms out into the room with the gun and shot the large Countryhuman. But the shot wasn't that accurate.
A cry of pain was heard from Soviet, who then grabbed Reich and hid behind the cabinet he was moving to protect himself and him.
Soviet was extremely tense. Even with the pain on the side of his body. Luckily it was only a graze.
Meanwhile, Third Reich was absolutely useless when he was so panicked. All he could do was hide behind whoever was trying to protect him.
There were then noises from outside, whereupon Poland rushed into the office with the two Countryhumans and tried to attack Soviet with her gun.
Reich was pushed into the corner while Soviet defended himself.
The poor Countryhuman in the corner couldn't look and flinched with each of the three shots, two of which were cries of pain from Soviet.
Then Soviet was again screaming in pain.
Third Reich whimpered in fear. He was afraid for Soviet, but he was frozen.
But with the third shot, someone fell to the ground.
Third Reich looked up in fear and saw Poland lying on the ground. Her eyes were lifeless and she was bleeding from her head.
Only a few meters away was France, who had been shot by Soviet before Poland.
Soviet was not far away from her and was panting heavily while holding the worst of his bloody wounds, on his left upper arm. Reich could see that Soviet was bleeding heavily from his left arm.
Soviet was in great pain and leaned against the cupboard.
Reich crawled over to him and hugged him very gently.
Then policemen came and took care of the two leaders. Soviet was taken away. Reich remained shaking and distraught on the spot until he was lifted up and transported to the nearest hospital.
《Chapter 23》Scars
Soviet Union woke up. He had to undergo surgery. The first thing the Countryhuman noticed was that his left ring finger was now missing.
When he felt his body, he noticed that his left upper arm had also been hit, he had also been grazed and his right shoulder had also been hit by Poland.
The Countryhuman was in pain and opened his eyes. It was night and when he turned his head, he was alone.
He wondered how Reich was doing. Would he say goodbye to Italy? He couldn't imagine that, as distraught as he was when he last saw him.
Soviet had been happy that Reich was so close to him.
Saving him would have saved him all the terrible pain. If he were still here, he would be even more relieved.
Speaking of angels.
The door opened and someone came in with a portion of food on a tray.
By the red hands, the big Countryhuman could immediately recognize who was bringing him his food. It was Reich.
When Soviet Union caught a glimpse of his face, he was not happy that Reich was not happy. His face was full of fear and worry.
Soviet could not bear to see this and so he raised his right arm as Reich stopped and looked at the fresh hot food that he had specially brought in in the hope that Soviet would wake up.
The injured man gently stroked Third Reich's forearm. The other was briefly startled before joy was added to his expression.
"Soviet!", he simply said happily and hugged him gently.
The Countryhuman in the sickbed had to smile and gently stroked Reich's back with his uninjured right hand.
Third German Reich began to cry happily while Soviet Union smiled at him. Reich was unharmed and was with him.
Reich was not completely unscathed, as the experience was traumatic for him and he was plagued by guilt, but physically he was fine.
Reich put his arms around Soviet and hugged him to his chest, which gave Soviet the opportunity to stroke his friend's head.
They both enjoyed the closeness and both their hearts pumped faster in the same rhythm. Their bodies had the same strength of the feeling of love. They grew warmer and Soviet felt his lips longing for those of his friend for whom he had risked his life.
"Soviet?", asked Reich, raising his head slightly to look at Soviet, "Can you eat on your own?"
The injured man was surprised by his question and after a moment's thought lied to Third Reich: "Unfortunately, I don't think I can do that without some help!" He was unsure if Reich would get someone else, but luckily Reich pulled away before he could lift Soviet's head up any more and bring a spoonful of food to Soviet's lips.
Satisfied, he opened his mouth and let Reich move the food into his mouth. Soviet was very happy that Reich was paying attention to him and taking care of him, while Reich felt good about taking care of his friend.
He felt terrible that Soviet had to suffer for his mistakes. He could have so easily stopped this from happening! Why did this have to happen?
Meanwhile, Soviet was happy. He got good food, closeness and attention. Everything he could have wanted, except for the pain, but he chose to ignore that.
He had decided to come to Reich's aid and from his perspective, he had done the right thing and he would do this again for Reich and only for Reich!
"Soviet, I'm sorry!", Third Reich apologized. "Reich!", he stopped him before he told him, "It was my decision! I made the decision to come to your aid, Reich! I am responsible for the fact that I am in the hospital and the two Countryhumans are dead! Now stop blaming yourself just because you wanted to see your old friend."
"I can hardly say I'll see him again!", said Reich, "I hope that something like that never happens again, that I just run away into a trap and you come and something happens to you."
"Is Italy still here?", asked Soviet Union, changing the subject. Reich replied: "No, he flew away when he felt safe enough that we were both okey."
"But that's not how you feel.", said Soviet, "You've had to see such terrible things!"
Third Reich asked him: "Please don't remind me of that!" The other Countryhuman immediately said: "Sorry!"
Soviet snuggled up to Reich. "You like to cuddle with me.", Reich noticed, which made Soviet giggle.
"I just like you!", said Soviet Union, "You're so cuddly!" Third German Reich blushed and giggled.
Soviet reached out to Reich and put his arm lightly around him.
Reich complained: "Soviet, you need to rest and not touch me all the time!" "Don't you like that?", Soviet asked. "I don't have a problem with it, but when you're injured, resting is more important for you.", he said. Soviet was happy.
Reich slowly got up again and Soviet lay there again as before.
"Please stay with me tonight!", Soviet asked him, almost begging. Reich was surprised: "What's wrong? Are you afraid or why have you become so clingy?"
"A little!", Soviet said and Reich replied, "Then I'll stay so you feel more comfortable!" "Thank you, Reich!", Soviet thanked him.
"I'll get something to eat in the cafeteria myself.", Reich said. "I'd like to come with you!" Soviet told him. The other Countryhuman said: "Soviet, I can't take you with me right now! I'll take you with me when you're better." He nodded.
Third Reich left Soviet Union's room with the empty tray.
The Countryhuman, who was now alone in the room, had to sigh.
He wanted to feel Reich's presence more than ever before. His soft hair and his smooth skin. He couldn't get enough of it.
Reich became more rebellious due to his fears, while Soviet became more affectionate.
Time passed with Soviet in the hospital and Reich being there for him as best he could.
Soviet sat on his bed. He had prepared to leave the clinic with Reich and in the meantime he read his little book.
He had to confess his feelings to Reich. Not here, but soon he should.
The door opened and Reich stood in front of him in his new dark blue coat.
Soviet looked at the other Countryhuman with wide eyes before saying: "That looks very good on you!" "Thank you!", he said happily, "The brownish tones don't suit me as well as you!"
The tall Countryhuman stood up smiling and went to Reich with his suitcase of clothes, packing up his book again.
Both walked side by side to the car.
《Chapter 24》The Couple
Soviet was at Reich's home.
Soviet Union would like to take him home. He loved Reich and wanted to give him an even better home since he had to move all the time.
Third Reich was drawing in the meantime. He hadn't drawn for a while since he had lost most of his works, which he still couldn't quite get over.
Soviet was interested in his way of drawing. The artist was using the angled pencil to shade the bird's feathers, which made it even fluffier and brought more dimensions to his work of art.
Soviet Union looked at him, completely captivated by his fascination. Reich was slightly bothered by Soviet watching, because he was pushing himself to do it more beautifully and faster than usual, which put more pressure on him and made the quality of his work look less good, but he wouldn't send Soviet Union away either.
The tall Countryhuman continued to watch, fascinated, barely noticing the slight tension in the other.
Reich eventually gave up because he couldn't continue like this. He stood up and went to the sofa, where he grabbed one of the books lying there about the properties of ether.
The ether, also known as the fifth element, was the space between the so-called molecules. This element was used as an infinite source of energy in the times of Tartary, an ancient country that was more of a legend even for today's Countryhumans.
How a Countryhuman could be a legend among Countryhumans was amazing, especially since she had only disappeared around 1800. Her human family was to be exterminated, but they had their intelligence and heart, which they used to hide and now slowly show themselves again.
She was, however, not the only Countryhuman legend he knew. There was supposed to have been a country in the past where Satanists and Zionists lived, but they were driven out by Tartary and her Russians and the Jews. However, they had prepared for this in Europe and wanted revenge to this day, which was one of the reasons that the Third Reich and the Soviet Union came into being.
The Zionists had also portrayed themselves as part of Judaism for a while, which they were not, but that was one of the ways to incite some people against the Jews, but they couldn't help it because they were like all other people and not evil.
That's why it had to be put right! This world had to be made healthy again, for every living being in this world!
"What are you reading?", Soviet asked curiously. Reich looked at him in surprise, before he giggled and said: "I was thinking more than reading!" Then he asked the big Countryman who sat down next to him: "Do you know the legend of Tartary?"
Soviet Union was surprised and thought for a moment: "Yes, but I don't know much about their history!" "I know about the displacement of the Zionists and their towers of infinite energy!", said Reich.
Soviet put his feet on the almost empty living room table and leaned back on the sofa while he told the story: "The Great Wall of China is said to have once been the Tartary Wall and at that time most of their land was rendered inhabitable by the effects of a weapon that works with low waves and something similar is said to have happened in Africa and caused a desert to rain over people's heads, which buried some parts of countries under sand and turned them into the Sahara desert.
I don't know if the stories are true, but it would be fascinating and more likely than the historical rubbish that is usually found in books!" Reich laughed and said: "I didn't think that a Countryhuman would ever agree with me!"
"Surprise!", said Soviet and briefly imitated fireworks with his hands, which made Third German Reich laugh even more, with Soviet Union joining in.
After Reich had calmed down a little, he said: "We're not that different!" Soviet gave him a warm smile, which Third Reich happily returned.
Soviet Union then had an idea, which Reich could see in his face, and the big Countryhuman looked at Duke before looking back at Reich, whereupon he asked: "Could we go for a walk together, somewhere particularly beautiful? I want to tell you something important and I'm not quite sure how you'll react to it."
Third German Reich looked at him confused and asked, because of Soviet's excitement: "Should I be worried?" Soviet immediately got up from lying down to sitting and said: "No, I hope not!"
"Does it have something to do with our enemies?", asked Reich. "No, but I don't know if that's why you might not want to see me again!", answered Soviet Union. Third Reich then said uncertainly: "You're making me feel insecure!"
"Sorry Reich, that's not my intention!", Soviet apologized and said, "I'm not sure about that! I don't know if I should even tell you or if it's even the right moment, but it's very important to me that you know that! After that, you can send me back to my company immediately if you can't see me anymore!", Soviet Union chattered faster due to his excitement.
The very big Countryhuman stood up and got the collar and leash for Reich's faithful dog before putting them on and the dog started to squeak with excitement.
"I think Duke needs to be oiled again!", joked Third German Reich before he also stood up.
He still carried his uncertainty with him, but Soviet tried to take it away with kindness, helping him with his coat. Reich liked the kindness and it really calmed him down.
They had treats for the dog and were dressed warmly for the cold weather before the three got into the car they had called and drove to a hill where there was a light snow and a pretty little forest stretched out into the busy valley.
They got out of the car and walked along the path where there was plenty for Duke to sniff, who ran around the two Countryhumans without a leash. The two enjoyed the sight of the excited dog, who couldn't keep up with the smells and kept running in front of the two of them as if he was about to turn into lightning.
During the walk, Soviet Union could see that Third Reich was trying to kick a pebble far ahead and he decided to play along and kicked the stone once before Third Reich reached it, causing Reich to laugh while the stone disappeared again in the grass at the side of the path.
The smaller one now kicked a new stone forward and towards Soviet's side. He immediately understood and now kicked stones together with Reich, while neither exchanged a single word with each other.
Reich and Soviet turned together, into the forest and onto a narrower path. First there were bare bushes everywhere and then brown leaves covered with a small layer of snow.
Again Duke raced past them and along the path in front of them.
They walked a little further before Reich asked him: "What did you want to tell me?"
Soviet stopped abruptly, while Reich came to a stop after a few smaller steps because he didn't see the other man's reaction coming and had to turn around before he could take a step closer.
Meanwhile, Soviet Union was very unsure and became very nervous again. Now he wished he had had the courage to tell Third Reich about his strong feelings.
Reich looked at him for a long time and gently took Soviet's left hand with his right. He wanted to reassure him, but Soviet Union felt the complete opposite of reassurance from Reich's reaction.
Soviet looked down, very unsure of his feelings and thoughts, which were fighting a war in his head over whether Soviet should confess his love to Reich or not.
When Reich realized that the gentle touch did not do what he had hoped, he gently put his arms around Soviet's body and snuggled up to him before saying: "I'm here for you and you can tell me anything!"
The hug clearly had a calming effect on him and he finally looked at his friend.
"Reich, please promise me that you won't hate me!", Soviet Union begged him. Reich promised him, "I promise you that I will never hate you!"
Third Reich didn't hate anyone, but he wanted to give Soviet more security, so he promised instead of just saying it.
Soviet took a deep breath and hesitantly said, looking into the blue eyes of his beloved Reich, "Reich, I really like you very much! You are the best and have enriched my life so much! I have developed feelings for you and I really hope you won't find that repulsive!"
Third Reich's eyes widened at his friend's words and finally started to blush a little as he realized more what Soviet had just confessed his love to him.
Soviet was too unsure again and looked away while feeling uncomfortable, but the one he had just confessed his love to just nuzzled his cheek and hugged him more, to which Soviet looked at him and saw the heartwarming smile from his Reich.
Now the big Countryhuman's eyes also grew wide and hesitantly moved closer and closer to his face.
They could feel each other's breath on their faces before the lips of the two Countryhumans touched and were gently pressed together.
They both enjoyed their kiss very much. They were completely absorbed in this one kiss.
《Chapter 25》Time for two with a dog
Soviet Union and Third Reich enjoyed their kiss. The smaller one slowly closed his eyes to feel the connection between their lips.
It felt to both of them as if this connection also united their feelings, as both could sense even deeper emotions.
Soviet then closed his heavy eyelids and placed his arms around Reich's back to hold him closer to him.
Third Reich felt like he was in heaven and stretched closer to the large Countryhuman he was connected to.
Soviet relaxed having Reich so close to him and enjoyed being able to feel the more sensitive Countryhuman beneath the layers of his clothing, while the other one didn't touch him because of Soviet's still-healing wounds.
They kissed for a long time, feeling each other's breath on their skin. Reich was the one who slowly broke the kiss.
Their lips parted and their feelings suddenly became more excited as the calm no longer controlled them.
The feelings of the two wanted to connect their lips again, but the Countryhumans' had to deal with this new situation first.
At almost the same time, they opened their eyes and looked into each other's. They blushed and looked away briefly, giggling. Third Reich was the first to look back at Soviet before they refocused their gaze on each other.
Reich gently touched the other Countryhuman's hand, who placed his hand around Reich's. Then he also looked around his enclosed hand.
Reich hadn't expected to receive this love and affection from Soviet, but he enjoyed it very much! He didn't just enjoy it, he loved it!
Both of their hearts were still beating quite rapidly. Reich took a deep breath because of his excitement.
Reich looked into his face and gently touched his warm, soft cheeks before reaching up to his lips again and kissing him very gently.
Again, he felt so good and relaxed, while Soviet Union watched him. He smiled at the fact that Reich had started another beautiful kiss and that he was now touching his cheeks.
They both enjoyed the quiet moment again and gently separated.
After a brief moment, Soviet Union gently took Reich's left hand and asked: "Shall we finish our walk?" Reich was somewhat surprised and blushed before nodding in agreement.
He walked to Soviet's right side. Duke was also with them.
The moment just now was still very unbelievable, if not already unreal, for both of them, especially for Reich, when they thought about it.
Soviet Union went ahead and asked Reich: "How did you feel when we kissed?"
"G-Good!", replied Reich, who was still a little more unsure about his feelings because he had imagined kissing a human woman like that someday and wasn't sure if there wasn't something wrong with him.
Soviet was more freaked out by his thoughts about having done it and finally kissing Third Reich.
"Our kisses were truly something special!", said Soviet, smiling at Reich, who smiled up at him and nodded gently.
Third Reich recalled what Italy had said to him. Soviet was all his friend had listed. He wondered if he knew they belonged together before he did.
The thought was strange, though, since his friend had a bit of a problem with gays, so he certainly wouldn't consider them a couple. If they were supposed to love each other like that, was their relationship even considered gay?
They were Countryhumans and they had less distinction between male and female than humans, because they had both male and female components in their bodies when it came to reproduction, which is why they were both genders at the same time. Countryhumans were very strange creatures.
Soviet was so in love with his Reich and watched him think about it. He hadn't expected it, but finally he was with Reich, who returned his love!
His body bubbled with joy as they continued on their way. At some point, Reich realized they had already moved on and asked Soviet: "What are we now?"
"What do you mean?", Soviet Union asked, confused. "Are we a couple now because of our kisses?", Reich asked uncertainly. Soviet said: "I'd like it to be like that, that we're a couple, but unfortunately I don't know, because I'd also like to know what you think about it!"
Third German Reich thought about it. He wanted to be with Soviet because it felt good. He couldn't say if the relationship would develop into something long-term, but his gut feeling demanded it and he was much better off in Soviet's hands than he was on his own and he had proven that many times already.
"I think we're a couple!", Reich said to him with a smile, which made Soviet stop. Third Reich was surprised and was about to say something when Soviet pressed his lips to his. Once again, both Countryhumans were kissing and once again, this triggered stronger feelings.
Reich took Soviet's other hand as well. They were two Countryhumans who had found love and were now enjoying it very much.
After the kiss, they followed the path and at some point heard water splashing around. Both astonished Countryhumans looked and Duke was lying wet and covered in mud in a muddy puddle. He was literally lying in it, drinking happily while half his body was in it, as if he were enjoying himself.
"Duke!", Reich shouted, "Get out of there!" The dog then got up and shook himself, then ran around the two of them even more like a madman.
Both Countryhumans laughed. Even though Reich had to clean him up, the sight was far too funny for him. The dog, in his wildness, also started to break sticks and growl wildly.
"What an exciting walk!", said Reich, "First we become a couple and then Duke turns into a mud monster!" They laughed even more.
Shortly afterward, Duke smacked Soviet on the underside of his thigh as he walked past him with a long branch. Fortunately, it wasn't too thick and was on the thin side. This wild and motivated dog ran ahead.
The two Countryhumans slowly touched again and didn't have much more to walk before they reached the car.
They enjoyed the walk and stopped holding hands after the last corner, as the car was in sight and they didn't want to tell anyone about their new relationship yet. That was just for the two red Countryhumans for now.
They got in and drove to a stream, where they briefly let Duke out to clean himself with the water, which was a good way to rid the dog of mud and dirt.
Wet but not covered in dirt on his legs and stomach, they got back in and drove back to the shelter. The three of them got out and Soviet went inside to get a towel for Duke. The wet dog was then dried off.
In the living room, Reich lit the stove and Soviet Union joined him while Duke ate his food.
When Reich only had to wait for the fire to light, he lay down and hesitantly rested his head on Soviet's leg. He quickly became unsure of his behavior again, but Soviet didn't think much of it and simply gently stroked the side of his face.
Soviet Union smiled at this, amorously. He loved being close to Reich. He couldn't get enough of him. Meanwhile, Reich closed his eyes, feeling the relaxation he got from the gentle stroking. It was quiet. The silence was pleasant between the two.
However, Duke then came along and licked Soviet's face, who immediately made disgusted noises and wiped his face with his arm while turning away to avoid becoming the victim of the dog again, who was trying to catch the sitting Countryhuman.
"Duke!", Reich exclaimed, patting his thigh before the dog, head down to better reach Reich, came toward him with his snout, his lips hanging down and a look of malicious joy in his eyes.
"Sit!", his owner commanded him and he sat down. He was then given the command "Lie down!", and lay down next to Reich, whereupon he grumbled and smiled at Reich more.
Third Reich simply said: "We were just out for a walk and you're already up to no good again!" He emphasized his words more, at which Duke began to grin cheekily and grumble, eliciting laughter and giggles from the two Countryhumans before the dog flopped over and with its mouth open, made more grumbling noises before stretching its upper body upwards to be petted on the belly.
Laughter came from Reich and Soviet, who was now tending to the stove while Reich stroked his dog's belly and chest. The underside of Duke's chin was visible and his teeth were now clearly visible, as his lips were away from them, having been pulled to the floor, while the dog was still grinning.
After a short while, Duke sneezed and rolled back onto his side, now holding his paw up so Reich could continue to pay attention to his belly.
Soviet had gotten the fire going after a few minutes while Reich played with his dog.
Third Reich had other plans, so he got up and went into the kitchen.
He knew his partner liked his food and Reich was too picky to try the other's, so once again he was the one cooking for both of them.
Soviet closed the windows to make Reich feel more comfortable, as he was still afraid of the darkness outside the barracks and in case the Americans showed up, it was better to keep everything dark.
Reich smiled and made a cauliflower casserole, which took some time, but both Countryhumans had more than enough to eat.
They both tucked in and Reich received a kiss on the cheek from Soviet before he said: "Thank you for the food, my wonderful cook!" Third German Reich blushed deeply.
《Chapter 26》Together under the attack
They spent the quiet evening together reading and playing board games. Both men found ways to entertain themselves.
There were also frequent kisses and hugs for each other, which was a new and enjoyable experience for both of them.
They brushed their teeth together and prepared for bed.
"Reich?", asked Soviet, "Will we both sleep in your bed?"
The addressed Countryman blushed, but this was still too new for him and he replied: "Not today, that's too fast for me, but maybe tomorrow!"
Soviet nodded understandingly and waited until Reich was finished before going with him to his room.
Soviet then asked him: "Do I get a goodnight kiss, too?" Reich laughed and put his lips to Soviet's before they separated and went to bed.
Third Reich thought about it, because it had been an eventful day with many things to consider. He loved Soviet and now they were a couple.
Finally, Reich had someone, but he hadn't had any real experience being together, as his relationships never lasted long.
Soviet would be his first long-term relationship. It was so new to him that he was now the one in charge of his life.
He wasn't so sure whether he could have children or even should have them.
He was quite convinced he couldn't have children with Soviet, but he wasn't sure. And if he did have children, his family would probably try to win them over, but only if they shared the genes of at least one of them.
And this world wasn't the world he wanted to raise his child in. A child who had to live in constant fear during a war was not the life he wanted for a child. A child must grow up in love, not fear. It must be surrounded by love to become strong.
Reich became too tired and fell asleep. Duke was also asleep, but Soviet was thinking. He wanted to make Reich breakfast as a loving gesture, he wanted to give him flowers, and so much more was on his mind.
His partner was so special to him that he wanted to express more to him how much he loved him and make this relationship work.
He wasn't sure if this relationship would last, but he wanted it to never end because he felt so comfortable with him.
Third Reich was the partner for him. Reich had shown him so much and inspired him to be better and do the right thing and he was so grateful to him for that. It was worth anything to see his partner safe and happy.
He snuggled into the soft bed, thinking about his partner.
But then, suddenly, he heard sirens from outside. Soviet Union couldn't identify what they meant, but he jumped up and ran to Reich.
Duke was startled and started barking loudly at the sirens, but it didn't wake Reich. Soviet took Reich, who was naked and wrapped in his blanket, along with his clothes and Duke, and ran outside to see what the people were doing, running into the bunker.
Reich woke up, awakened by the unsteady sound of Soviet's footsteps, Duke's barking and the sirens.
Together they fled to the bunker.
Soviet had only heard of such cases, but had never experienced it, just like Reich, who lay half-asleep in the blanket in his partner's arms.
Soviet sat down on the ground and held Reich close while ordering Duke to lie down.
Several people were at the scene. One wasn't happy about the Countryhumans' presence, while the remaining three were either panicking or calming down. There were four women and a boy who was with his mother.
Third Reich woke up, even with Soviet's attempt to get him to go back to sleep. "What happened?", he asked wearily. "The sirens went off.", Soviet replied reassuringly.
"It's the air raid sirens!", said the older woman, "It will take a while, then the Americans will be gone again." She had a soothing, gentle voice.
"I wonder who we have to thank for this!", said the middle woman, who was visibly annoyed and stressed, sarcastically.
Soviet Union immediately understood that this was about his partner and defended him: "America has only himself to thank for this!"
"Of course a Countryhuman would think so!", she said exaggeratedly. The mother with the child elbowed her and the mother said to her: "Don't talk about those two Countryhumans like that!"
She meant this, more along the lines of her being killed by the Countryhumans.
"Why? They have no protectors anymore! And I won't let them stop me from speaking!", she scolded, before standing up and leaving the two of them.
Soviet was ready to shoot her if she did anything to him, but she had no intention of doing that.
"The man you held so peacefully in your arms destroyed my family!", the angry woman exclaimed, "My husband was killed trying to protect his Jewish friend and my son was sent to the front!"
She fumed: "How can you look down on us and take our loved ones for your own ends! You are the worst of all! We were always told that you were human beings like us, but what kind of human would destroy so many families!? For what? That you can be so intoxicated with power!? You are not human beings and have no humanity!"
Soviet Union didn't know how to react. He had never experienced this rage so closely before.
Reich raised his head and told the woman: "I'm sorry your family was taken from you, but this war and what happened is not my fault in these aspects. I have nothing against Jews and I'm glad your husband tried to defend his friend. I didn't choose this war and system. But I'm sorry I didn't do anything and I will work with my allies to ensure that something like this never happens again, because that's the only thing I can do!"
She was surprised and dissatisfied with Reich's response, but with the first explosion that shook the earth, everyone fell silent except for Duke, who whined, trembled and panted.
Reich stretched his arms out from under the blanket and massaged his dog. You shouldn't pet a dog when he's afraid, otherwise you would reward and reinforce that fear and so it was with all emotions. The Countryhuman massaged him to relax his tense muscles so he wouldn't panic.
Third Reich was afraid himself, just like his partner, so he couldn't calm his dog down very well, and not long after, it was loud again and the earth was vibrating.
Everyone sat quietly in the bunker before the tense woman looked outside. A while after, voices were heard, before she said: "It's over!"
Little by little, everyone left the hiding place. It was pitch black, so they used there voices to guide them.
"Mr. Führer!", several men shouted. Then Reich called out: "I'm here with Soviet Union and my dog, Duke!"
They came over and led them into the house, that they were staying, where they turned on the lights, which immediately made them very bright.
Soviet Union sat down with Reich in his arms. It was a strange sight for the men to see their leader being carried by the leader of the USSR, while he was wrapped in a blanket because he wasn't wearing any clothes.
"Are you all right?", one of them asked. Reich replied, "Yes, thank God we survived!" Shortly thereafter, Reich replied: "I would like you to stop calling me your Führer and simply call me by my name. I just want to go to bed right now, because I'm very tired and we can talk about today tomorrow."
The men didn't quite understand this, but nodded and led the men to the bedrooms in the house. Soviet put Reich down in bed and went to the bathroom before sneaking into Reich's room.
The large Countryman sat on the edge of the bed and asked Reich: "Can I sleep with you? I won't get too close to you, but I don't want to leave you alone. I love you and I just need the reassurance that you're okay."
Reich patted the other side of the bed and tugged something for him. Soviet Union immediately understood his gesture and lay down next to him, stripping down to his shorts and making himself comfortable, while watching Reich, who was resting on his elbow with his head turned and his back to him.
Soviet knew his partner was awake and tried to be as quiet as possible so as not to disturb him, but both were awake for a long time until their exhaustion drove them to sleep.
《Chapter 27》Journey to the North
Soviet was the first to wake up. He was turned toward Reich, who again had his back to him.
Nevertheless, Soviet smiled at him. His cheeks flushed and his strong love burned within him. He had very strong feelings, but didn't want to go too far, which is why he layed there, observing him.
Reich's breathing was calm and relaxed and he lifted the covers with each breath. He couldn't see much in the darkness of the room, but he could sense him a little. The warmth that emanated from him when he slept was pleasant to him.
Soviet would love to touch his skin, but he wasn't sure how deeply his partner was sleeping and whether it would exceed his limits.
Now that they were together, would they also become physically closer, he wondered. Would Reich even want that? Had he ever had such physical contact before? Soviet refrained from further thoughts in that direction.
He can get closer to Reich. A kiss on the cheek wouldn't hurt Reich, after all, because he was now his partner. Soviet lifted Reich's blanket slightly, as his arm was under it and supported himself with his arms to lean forward and press his lips to Reich's soft skin.
Reich turned his head away with a little grumble. Soviet had to giggle, because he found the reaction cute. He was so in love with his Reich.
"Soviet, get back on your side!", Reich murmured, tired and annoyed. Soviet was slightly startled, but listened to him.
Reich tried to go back to sleep, while Soviet was bored. But Reich couldn't get back to sleep and wasn't exactly in the best mood.
Reich turned around, annoyed and Soviet was now visible to him, smiling at him. "Great! Now I can't sleep!", Third Reich murmured, annoyed. Soviet immediately, realizing it was because of him, said: "Sorry, Reich!"
Reich grumbled: "I knew letting you sleep here was a bad idea!" "Why was that a bad idea?", Soviet asked, confused, looking after him as he walked to the light switch.
"I can't sleep with physical contact and I need my sleep!", replied the Countryhuman, who had gotten up and flipped on the light switch.
The room immediately became bright. Too bright for the three exhausted survivors. Soviet Union put his hand over his eyes and inadvertently caught a glimpse of his naked partner, which made him blush and cover his eyes.
Soviet Union had seen naked men before, but seeing his partner naked would only elicit the wrong reactions.
Meanwhile, Third German Reich changed his clothes. Duke grumbled and covered his eyes with his paw. "I'll turn off the light when I leave the room!", Reich said to his dog, who grumbled again, making him giggle.
"By the way, Soviet, how do you plan to get back to your room without being discovered by my people?", Reich asked his partner.
Soviet simply said: "Um... Couldn't it be that there are no more people here?" "Oh, they definitely are and I don't want them to think we slept in the same room and then they'll probably find out we were naked in the same bed!", said the tired, grumpy Reich, "And of course, it's my job to go out and lure everyone to one spot so you can get to your room! And it's your job to stay in the room for a while before you get out."
The other Countryhuman nodded hesitantly. Reich grumbled and said: "Get dressed!"
Soviet listened to his grumpy partner and quickly got dressed.
Third Reich went out and turned off the light before going into the kitchen after a bathroom stop, then back into Soviet's room and looking into Soviet's room before telling Soviet Union in his room: "I don't see anyone! Quickly go over there and I'll heat up yesterday's dinner."
Soviet Union smiled and Reich went back into the kitchen and warmed up yesterday's leftovers in a pot.
When Soviet was ready, he walked into the kitchen, freshly dressed, to Reich and said cheekily: "Is it possible you're becoming a housewife?" Reich glared at him angrily and Soviet looked at him in surprise, realizing he'd said rubbish. "First of all, I'm a man. Second, I go to work. Third of all, if you say something like that again, I won't cook or heat anything for you anymore!"
"I'm sorry, Reich!", Soviet apologized sincerely. But before Soviet could continue with his apology, Third Reich ordered him: "You will set the table now!" Soviet Union nodded immediately and took care of it without a word.
Shortly afterward, they were already eating. The tall Countryhuman remained silent, while the shorter one calmed down, as food had a calming effect on him.
"Why so quiet, Soviet?", Reich asked, normal again. "I was unsure because you were in such a bad mood!", he replied. His partner said: "Excuse me! I'm not so thrilled about being woken up and not being able to get back to sleep! I really enjoy my sleep!" "I can tell!", Soviet Union said with a smile.
They finished eating and Reich slid up to Soviet before suddenly hugging him and asking: "Soviet? I'd like to be somewhere safer than here! Do you know a place for us?" The hugged man was quite surprised by the request, but said: "I know a safe place, but for that, you'll have to come with me and endure the winter in the north!"
Reich then replied: "As long as I can be with you and can be afterwards, somewhere warm, without bombs and attacks!" Soviet had to smile broadly. He could spend more time with his partner.
"We'll arrange that right away!", Soviet Union said happily. He had wanted to invite Reich to his home and now he could. "Will Duke be able to go on walks with you?", Reich asked him, breaking him out of his reverie.
"If he likes snow!", said the big Countryhuman. "Then it's fine!", exclaimed Reich. Soviet was once again lost in his fantasy.
Several hours of train and car ride passed before Soviet Union could drive Reich and his animal companion through deep snow to his house.
Third Reich was less certain about all the snow, but he had faith in his partner that they were safe for now.
Soviet parked in front of his house and said to Reich: "Stay in here, I'll unlock the door and get you in!"
There wasn't much of the house to see, as there were strong winds and snow and it was already quite dark, having been traveling all day.
Soviet struggled through and unlocked the door before opening it for Reich and picking him up, before transporting him and setting him down inside, before going to get Duke and the luggage.
The house was cold, but nothing compared to outside. Reich and Duke entered the dark, empty, and cold house before Soviet came over and put his arm around Reich, leading him into the living room, where there was a large stove.
Reich looked around while Soviet got a blanket, then spread it out and placed it around Reich's shoulders, who giggled and wrapped it around himself. The blanket was cold, but soon it would warm him.
Soviet briefly placed his lips against his cheek and took care of lighting the stove.
Duke explored the living room with his nose while Reich watched Soviet try to get a flame to appear.
Duke didn't have a problem with the cold, but the Countryhumans, especially Reich, did.
After a few minutes, Reich sat down on the sofa and wrapped the blanket around himself even more insulated.
Soviet saw this and shortly afterward left to bring wood to the stove. Duke was still a cheeky dog, cheekily grabbing one of the discarded pieces. "Duke out!", Soviet commanded and the dog listened, whereupon Soviet took his piece of wood.
Duke was bored again and looked to see if there was anything left for him to do.
Third Reich now felt not only the cold gnawing at him, but also the hunger for warm food. Preferably something liquid, so he stood up again and asked the busy Soviet Union: "Where is the kitchen?"
The tall, gentle Countryhuman looked at him and replied: "The door to the left of the hallway. But cooking right now isn't much use if we don't have a fire."
"I know, but I'd like to see if I can make us some vegetable soup to warm us up.", Reich informed him. His partner said: "Sit back down. As soon as the stove is lit, you sit in front of it and I'll make us some soup!" This brought a smile to Third Reich's lips, which pleased the other Countryhuman.
Reich walked over to him and gently kissed Soviet's warm, but rough lips. Then Reich came up with an idea to warm himself and Soviet.
He sat down next to his partner and hugged him with his blanket. Soviet's body was pleasantly warm for Third German Reich. He pressed his body gently against him. How much he loved his new source of warmth!
Soviet Union had to smile and put his arms around Reich before gently pulling him onto his lap. Reich lay in his lap and Soviet had his arms around his partner, who was wrapped in a blanket.
The two gazed at each other lovingly and kissed gently and lovingly, which triggered more heat in them. When they parted their lips, they discovered that the stove was burning.
They cuddled lightly for a while before Soviet said to his partner: "I'll put you on the sofa and cook. You snuggle up in your blanket."
Reich simply smiled and nodded before standing up and helping Soviet Union up, before he gave him a tight hug. Soviet hugged him back and smiled lovingly at him before they began their assigned tasks.
Reich warmed himself and Soviet cooked while they heated up the living room and then the kitchen, after which Soviet warmed a few of his remaining rooms and stowed their luggage elsewhere. He also filled the rest of the house with light and warmth, giving it a completely different feel. Everything felt warm and inviting.
Soviet Union brought Duke his mattress and placed one in his bedroom, where he hoped to get the dog's owner and himself inside as well. He wasn't entirely sure what Reich's requirements for a comfortable sleep were, but for now, he would stick to them. Grumpy Reich was funny, but he much preferred his loving side.
Third Reich snuggled into the blanket around him, slowly growing tired, but Soviet appeared and told him: "Dinner is ready and will warm you up quickly!"
He was happily greeted by his tired partner, who got up and followed him to the dining table.
The rest of the evening was quiet. They mostly prepared for bed together, except for getting undressed.
"Reich, you'll sleep here!", Soviet said, leading him to the large, feather-soft bed. "Isn't this your bedroom?", Reich asked. The answer was: "Yes, but I changed the sheets and it's the warmest and softest bed I have."
Reich looked at the dark brown wood of the bed frame and the cover of the blanket and pillows, which featured a tree and a meadow of flowers.
"You probably want to sleep in here too, right?", Reich asked the homeowner. Soviet's cheeks blushed slightly and he said: "If I may?"
Reich had to sigh, because he gave in and said: "If you don't touch me, let me have my part of the bed, don't wake me up and instead, when you can't lie still anymore, leave the room, then yes!"
Soviet Union smiled enthusiastically and told him: "I'll do it!" He was a little excited, as it was his chance to be closer to his partner and hopefully get used to living with him.
Third German Reich got into bed. Duke stayed downstairs because he was too tired, but he could join them at any time. The guest undressed under the covers and Soviet undressed before getting into his bed.
As Reich snuggled into the bed, he realized how soft and warm everything was. He felt like he was on a cloud. They both fell asleep quickly that night.
《Chapter 28》The race on ice
Soviet Union was once again the first to wake up. Reich was turned toward him and slept soundly. Soviet slowly got up, changed his clothes and left his room.
An hour later, Third Reich also woke up, briefly confused as to where he was before remembering yesterday and that he was now with his partner.
It wasn't long before he could smell food. The aroma was delicious. Shortly afterward, he realized how hungry he was, so he slowly got up and dressed freshly and comfortably in a blue sweater and dark pants.
Most of Soviet Union's furniture was made of wood and the wall in the bedroom was also made of wood. Third Reich also spotted something else: a long needle, about as long as the distance from his hand to his elbow. It was probably a knitting needle, but Reich couldn't say for sure, as there was only one.
The house was pleasantly warm as he walked through it. As he walked down the stairs, he could already hear his cheerful partner humming in the kitchen.
The guest, which in this case was Reich, peered into the kitchen to see his partner wearing a yellowish knit top he hadn't seen before. It looked hand-knitted.
Third Reich went into the kitchen and greeted his cheerful friend: "Good morning!" Soviet Union immediately spotted him and smiled happily before leaning over and kissing Reich's lips, then wishing him: "Good afternoon, my Reich!" The recently awakened Countryman chuckled.
"Breakfast is almost ready and today we're going to the next town because we need more groceries and I'd like to see something.", Soviet Union said. "What would you like to see?", Reich asked him.
He received a reply: "I'd like to see the ice speedway." "Ice speedway?", Reich asked. Soviet nodded and explained: "So, it's a motorcycle race on ice!" Third German Reich repeated: "A motorcycle race... on ice?" He was very unsure. Reich couldn't quite imagine it without context and imagined motorcycles with skis.
"Yes!", Soviet giggled at Reich's question and answered, "There are metal spikes on the wheels." Third Reich briefly tried to imagine it again and said: "It's even more dangerous than a normal motorcycle!" Soviet giggled and said: "It's only dangerous if you were standing in front of it or fell off the motorcycle. That's why people are more careful! Please just take a quick look with me and if you don't want to watch it anymore, we'll come back here!" After some thought, Reich nodded. Soviet smiled and got some plates.
After eating and a bit of a phone call, they set off for the city in Soviet's car. They had not only wrapped up warm, but also made sure they wouldn't be easily recognized.
Reich looked out the window as best he could. It had never stopped snowing and before they could leave, they had to free the vehicle. Reich had never seen snow so thick.
Soviet Union drove them safely to the nearest small shop, where they got out and went inside. They both shopped and argued about what they wanted to cook, as they both had different ideas. It wasn't a angry argument, but a gentle one: "I need this for the sauce I'm going to make for us. You love my food!" Soviet Union said: "Yes, but you're visiting me, so I insist that I cook for us and I'm going to make us a casserole, so I can't use another kind of curry!" "Spiciness stimulates the metabolism and will help warm us up in these cold times!", Third Reich thought. Soviet Union then argued: "Yesterday, you didn't need a spicy meal to warm you up either."
The two both wanted to make something nice for each other, which is why they always gave in. Nothing wins better than kindness. The woman who owned the store was simply confused. Soviet did all the talking at the cash register, while his partner could only smile back.
In the car, Reich kissed Soviet's cheek and said: "You're so sweet!" Soviet giggled and said: "I'm glad you could admit that I cook for us!" Third German Reich just laughed: "In your dreams!" Both of them were already laughing and drove on to get Duke more food for him to try.
After that was done, the two drove to a small stadium. Reich followed Soviet beside him while they both went to the staff and were led to the best seats. Everyone was shocked and astonished by the arrival of the red Countryhumans. They knew that Soviet was planning to come with a companion, but never in their lives would they have imagined that it was the leader of their allies, Third Reich.
The two sat down together and just managed to see the last lap being completed. The vehicles were very loud and drove on a track of thick ice. Behind the motorcycles, pieces of ice that had broken off the tips of the ice were flying around. The riders of these dangerous machines were barely visible because they were very well wrapped up, but each had their color and number for orientation.
The blue one crossed the finish line first and the crowd erupted in excitement. Once everyone had crossed the finish line, they slowed down and two of them performed tricks by skating across the ice on their back wheels, which triggered another wave of excitement.
Both Countryhumans watched, spellbound, as the riders rode out again beneath them and shortly after, other riders rode into the arena and lined up. On the way out, they seemed to be talking to each other. They weren't tense at all, which must have made it more like a hobby among friends.
After a few signals with flags, they set off. Some rode more inside and strangely, the faster ones rode along the edge and how quickly they gained speed on this short stretch of the shiny ice. It was an impressive competition, which, even with the danger, was simply impressive for Reich, who had never seen anything like it before. Reich wasn't particularly interested in competitions or watching sports, but this extreme sport was simply breathtaking!
Soviet smiled at his partner, who was staring at the ice with wide eyes. The four riders only swapped positions at the beginning. The finish was decided by the second lap. After four laps, there was a winner.
After the motorcycles had disappeared, people appeared with machines to clear the ice of loose ice and smooth it out again.
Soviet Union giggled and said: "That's good sport for us Russians!" Reich looked at him and chuckled: "That's the first time you've called yourself Russian!" "I know I'm not one of them and you're not German either, but somehow I feel much closer to humans and I have you to thank for that!", Soviet Union said happily. They both smiled and the smaller one asked: "Why do you have me to thank for that?"
Soviet Union gently took his hand, after a brief look around and said: "I didn't consider humans valuable! We were taught that they were a means to be used and exploited, but your kindness and knowledge made me doubt and taught me a better way. Thank you for showing me a better way!" Third Reich blushed slightly and also burst into tears of joy.
"When we get back to you in the car, get ready for the longest kiss of your life!", Soviet's partner said. The tall man just laughed enthusiastically. He wanted to get the kiss now, but that wasn't the best idea here. Even though most people didn't know the two Countryhumans were here, they were so masculinely built that they would probably get into trouble because of it.
Countryhumans in love weren't welcome. In the days of dukes, kings and emperors, it was accepted that Countryhumans fell in love and weren't allowed to fall in love with humans. But over time, this faded and Countryhumans were presented as a couple with humans or it was kept secret. A Countryhuman couple where both owned lands or companies was extremely frowned upon.
It was a very strange situation between Countryhumans and humans. They were so similar, yet they were two different worlds.
The competition resumed, but the Countryhumans could see that the drivers were now tense, something neither of them wanted to see, especially not Soviet Union. The drivers looked around uncertainly.
"I think they know we're here! It would be better for us to leave so they can continue in peace, otherwise they'll hurt themselves.", said Soviet. "We'll come back another time!"
Then the two left the stadium and said their goodbyes, making it clear they were leaving before they left and drove home.
《Chapter 29》Surprise from the Far East
Reich smiled at Soviet on the drive back. He was still convinced he was the cook for tonight, but Soviet was convinced too.
Back at Soviet's cottage, Duke greeted them both happily and Third Reich reminded the homeowner: "Didn't you want to go for a walk with Duke?"
Soviet quickly saw through him, whereupon he said: "You're doing this on purpose to get me out of the house so you can cook!"
Reich obviously played innocent while exaggeratingly telling him: "I definitely don't plan on doing that! How did you come up with that?"
Soviet laughed and and after thinking about it for a moment, gave in: "Okay, I'll go for a walk and you cook for us today, but I'll cook for you tomorrow!"
He gave in, knowing that this cold weather and foreign terrain weren't for Reich and Reich was so pleased to be cooking for Soviet.
Reich then laughed triumphantly and Soviet laughed at this.
Soviet took the dog leash and gave Duke his collar before going, leaving Reich in the house to prepare for his return.
The two lived together for a while and grew closer. Both were surprised by how well they suited each other.
At some point, Italy's visit was over and he traveled to the USSR to visit his friends Reich and Soviet, which already knew and had prepared everything to sleep separately that night. Soviet let Reich sleep in his bed because he wanted to make his partner as comfortable as possible, while he slept on the sofa. Italy was supposed to sleep in the guest room.
They both sat cuddled up on the sofa, waiting to go to the airport to pick him up. It would be dark when they arrived.
Soviet Union said to his partner: "Reich, I have a strange hobby that I really enjoy, but don't like to show."
Puzzled, Reich asked him: "What is it?" "I knit sometimes.", he replied. Reich immediately replied: "That's nice! I'm glad you enjoy it!"
"Really?", Soviet Union asked. Now he was the surprised one. Third Reich nodded happily and said: "Of course!"
"You don't find it strange?", he asked. "Soviet, I'm a 50-year-old man who draws for fun and sometimes even crochets! The fact that you knit isn't much stranger than what I do!", Reich said, and Soviet had to smile. After a moment's thought, he said: "You're not wrong!" Reich just laughed.
Soviet Union blushed, embarrassed to think that his lover had problems with his little hobby. In retrospect, it was uncomfortable, but Reich knew how to handle him and gave him a tight hug, which made Soviet feel better.
Soviet hugged him tightly as well. They both smiled at each other and immediately they were full of positive feelings again. They loved having such great power to change each other's feelings so quickly.
Just a smile could make each other feel better. They kissed passionately and full of love.
After some time had passed, Reich asked Soviet: "When would be the best time to go to the airport?" Soviet looked at the clock on the wall before standing up and answering: "Now!"
Soviet Union grabbed his hat and put it on before going to his dressing room and dressing warmly. He was followed by his partner, who put on even more warm clothes, which made Soviet giggle and say: "Have you become a jacket human?"
"Yes, from today on I'm a jacket human!", he agreed, to which Soviet only laughed even more, while Reich followed him, smiling.
Soviet held the car door open for him and bowed slightly, earning a laugh from his partner, who got into the car before the door closed behind him and the other Countryhuman got into the driver's seat next to him.
"Don't you want to learn to drive?", Soviet Union asked Reich as he drove off. "Not yet, but thanks for the offer! It's much nicer being driven around.", said Third Reich, "Just kidding, I don't dare to drive. I know I'd have more freedom, but even someone who loves freedom is dependent on certain things and this is one of them for me."
"Then you really should do something, because if you want everyone to be independent, it won't work until you are too!", was Soviet's opinion. Third Reich felt less certain: "I don't really know..." "You don't have to decide now. Nobody is forcing you and especially not me, because I need that enchanting smile of yours!", Soviet said and received the desired smile from him, to which he enthusiastically replied, "That's exactly what I want to see!" His fellow passenger began to giggle.
The two talked about nature on their way to the airport. They got out and took refuge in the heated building while they waited for the plane.
After a short while, the plane landed gently on the runway. Reich had been keeping his eyes outside the window ever since, trying to figure out the best time to pick up Italy. Soviet Union told him: "Are we going, or do you want to spend the whole day watching the plane?" Another chuckle came from his partner, who followed him.
Soviet went out onto the sand-and-salt-covered area. Third German Reich was not far behind, as he was led to the landed plane.
The smaller Countryhuman was quite excited, which made the larger one happy. Together they stopped at the stairs to the flying machine and waited briefly before the doors opened and the Kingdom of Italy came out. He wasn't exactly wearing the warmest clothes and when he wanted to say his big "Hello" the cold left him speechless, so he went back into the plane.
Reich laughed and waited until his friend was ready. "He knows he's landing in the cold! Why was he so lightly dressed?", asked Soviet. "I'm not sure! The only possibility is that he forgot, but he's not that forgetful!", said his friend.
Italy was warmly dressed and this time at the door, he said: "Did you miss me?" He went downstairs, while Reich went upstairs and replied: "Of course we missed you!" He hugged his returning friend.
"Nice to see you haven't changed a bit!", said a woman coming out of the door. She was also warmly dressed and was familiar to the two friends on the stairs. Third Reich said happily, "Japanese Empire! It's so nice to see you again!"
"I needed a change and our dear Italy convinced me to travel with him!", she said. He smiled up at her and she gave him a brief, seductive look, which made him blush, something only Soviet noticed, at which he chuckled. He wasn't the only one who had found love.
Reich also hugged Japan before the three of them went down the stairs and headed toward the car, while Soviet went to get the luggage.
He smiled happily and told someone where the suitcases needed to be taken. But when he was about to go back, he stopped. A canister of red paint had spilled on the ground. The building was being painted. However, this red paint reminded him of the blood of the Countryhumans he had to kill, so he stood there silently for a while. Soviet didn't even notice, his mind remembered with the memories now flooding him.
"Mr. USSR, are you all right?", asked a man working at the airport. Soviet Union was jolted from his thoughts and immediately realized he was in danger, which is why he pointed his gun at the innocent man, who looked up at him in shock.
When the Countryhuman realized this, he immediately put the gun down and put it back in his pocket. "Sorry, good man!", Soviet apologized and ran back to the car.
Soviet was still stressed and Reich noticed, but his friend remained silent, so he didn't ask any further questions.
Back at Soviet Union's house, Reich unlocked the door and got the mail while the guests entered and Soviet followed with the luggage. As he bent down, Duke caught his face with his wet tongue. It was unpleasant, but it finally allowed the big man to relax. Duke was delighted by the guests who were petting him.
Soviet took care of the stove and sat with the chatting Countryhumans. Reich cooked some more food later and eventually everyone went to bed. Italy and Japan slept in the same room. Reich was sleeping in Soviet's bed and Soviet himself was on the sofa, not far from the flames of the fire.
Once again, he thought about how he had behaved at the airport. He had threatened a poor man in his fear. Could it happen again? What would stop him? He didn't want to kill, but he had no choice and why hadn't his mind shown the images of what had happened for so long? This fight for survival was horrific! Reich was so lucky not to have this horrible feeling, he thought.
Soviet didn't want to be responsible for those three Countryhumans, but he was. He had ended their lives and the only right to do so was self-defense, because those three would have killed his partner and him. But still, this immense guilt didn't go away, instead, it gnawed at him and certainly wouldn't stop anytime soon.
Soviet Union stood up. He needed to distract himself. To still do something important, he decided to read his letters.
Most of it was uninteresting, but there was something new and bad: The United States had developed a new superweapon and bombed one of the cities in Japan with it. Soviets turned pale. He ran upstairs and into the room of Italy and Japan, whom he wanted to wake up, but he didn't want to wake them up, especially since they were probably having trouble adjusting to time, so the big Countryman took matters into his own hands and wrote letters.
He wrote to his secret service asking them to provide him with information about the new weapon, but then he remembered what his friend's friend had said. A bombing raid that was very powerful because it delivered so much at once and he was selling it as a new weapon.
Soviet Union had a better idea. He would beat the USA at his own game. He was already writing another letter, saying that some of the most powerful bombs should be collected, as he needed them for what the USA was trying to do. Only he would make them more powerful. He had not yet found his target, because he and his friends wouldn't be happy if he fired them at the capital, but that was a problem for tomorrow. He quickly put the letter away and returned, whereupon he was able to fall asleep.
《Chapter 30》On slippery ice
At some point in the middle of the night, Reich woke up. The light in the hallway shone into the room where he was staying, but someone was missing on the other side of the bed. Duke was sleeping next to his side of the bed, but Soviet was missing. Bringing him here, however, Third Reich thought it was a bad idea, because he and Soviet didn't want to be excluded from their friendships. These friendships were important for the future of the world.
Third Reich grabbed his pillow and placed it where his partner usually slept to feel more comfortable. He tried to sleep for a while, but couldn't, which gave him a new idea.
Reich knew where Soviet kept his mattresses and went there before moving one into the living room near Soviet, covering the mattress and getting his blanket and pillow, where he lay down. Duke also came over, as he wanted to stay with Reich. He felt more comfortable here, with Soviet in sight and the warmth of the stove. The Countryhuman began to fall asleep again, while his dog walked, panting because it was getting too hot.
Soviet Union woke up at noon and immediately heard two of his guests: Italy and Japan. They seemed to be in the kitchen. It bothered him because he was still tired and it was still dark, but it was no longer night since the stove was off. There was also a lot of wind noise outside, which meant there was another blizzard.
He could hear a familiar grumbling from a third person. It was Reich, who was annoyed and went upstairs. Soviet Union saw this as his chance to go back to sleep, because if Reich closed the door, the two wouldn't disturb them and he could be with Reich.
Shortly afterward, the large Countryhuman opened his eyes and crept upstairs to his room, where he gently opened the door and closed it behind him. He went over to the bed and lay down in his place before lying quietly there. Meanwhile, Third Reich rolled over to him, which surprised Soviet because they were almost touching. He could see a gentle smile on Reich's lips and smiled along before they both gently drifted back into sleep.
Later, Soviet woke up and felt Reich's breath on his face. They had grown a little closer in their sleep. He loved it! Being close to his lover was the best, but he had to stay exactly where he was because he didn't want to wake him. He wanted his peacefully sleeping and awake Reich to be happy.
They stayed like that for a while before Reich's breathing slowly quickened, which meant he was waking up. His partner was pleased and smiled, while Reich turned over, as the closeness bothered him and he needed a moment. Soviet just giggled.
Third Reich sighed and felt Soviet's arms wrap around his body. This was the first time Reich Soviet was allowed to touch his skin, which was usually hidden behind clothing. Reich liked Soviet's warm and gentle hands on him, while Soviet Union enjoyed feeling Reich's body and warming him, as Reich was a bit cooler, but also sweatier than he was.
"You're all wet! Are you sick?", Soviet asked him worriedly after he'd stopped giggling. His partner mumbled: "No, it's fine! Sometimes I sweat for no apparent reason!"
Third German Reich snuggled gently against Soviet Union. The two cuddled lightly to wake up and because the closeness to each other was so pleasant. Reich hugged his partner and kissed him lovingly, which elicited a broad smile from him.
They lay there like that for a while until Soviet said: "Now we really should get up! I'm hungry and I don't want our guests turning my house upside down!" Third Reich just laughed and said: "Would you trust them to do that?" "Unfortunately, yes!", replied the one asked.
They got dressed before Reich and then Soviet left the bedroom. The lights were on in the house and the other two Countryhumans were downstairs on the sofa. Reich wanted to sit down when he saw Italy lying on the sofa and Japan lying on top of him.
Both noticed him and looked at him, blushing, while Reich wasn't quite sure what to say. Both were dressed, but it was now absolutely clear to Reich that the two weren't just friends.
"And you were worried about telling our friend!", said Japanese Empire to Kingdom of Italy, who was lying speechless beneath his partner.
Japan said once, clearly and distinctly: "We've been a couple for a year, before we couldn't see each other anymore because of the war!"
Soviet now stood next to his partner and looked at them unimpressed, while Japan straightened up and helped Italy stand up. The large Countryhuman would love to proudly announce that he was with Reich.
"You're not the only ones in love!", he said and all the attention was on him. Reich was very uncomfortable, especially since he knew what his friends thought. "Good for you!", Third Reich simply said and then asked his partner, "Can you help me in the kitchen for a moment? I'm starving!" He took his hand and pulled him along. Soviet followed him, looking at him in surprise.
Reich closed the door and said quietly: "You really shouldn't have said that!" Soviet Union replied in a normal tone: "Why not? It's true!" "But if you tell them about us, we'll have two fewer friends and allies while we're trapped here with them because a storm is raging outside!" Third German Reich said. "They would never hurt us, but that doesn't mean they wouldn't kick us out of their lives!"
"Then they're not really friends.", Soviet said. Reich stopped him: "I know and perhaps they have fewer problems with it because it's more common with politicians who think they're in love with another man and then the man disguises himself as a woman to avoid being noticed. But that could also be because they might hate us and especially in a war, we can't afford to lose our supporters!"
Soviet Union approached Reich and said: "Do you think things will get better if we don't tell them? If they find out without our honesty?" Third Reich thought for a moment before saying: "Fine, tell them if you want, but I want to stay here! I'll tell the truth, but right now it would be too much for me to go to them."
"We could also wait a bit until the blizzard has eased!", Soviet Union suggested and Reich nodded uncertainly.
To distract his uncomfortable partner, Soviet Union suggested: "How about breakfast for both of us!" "I'll start and you ask if they're hungry too!", suggested the little Countryhuman.
They immediately set to work cooking, taking turns. It didn't take long until it was ready. Duke, of course, got some too.
Soviet was repeatedly asked who it was, but made a mystery out of it, which made the two of them go quiet.
He had to keep quiet not only about who Soviet was with, but also about the attack on Japan. The storm raged day and night, but in the morning, things calmed down. This time, Reich and Soviet slept in the same room.
Once again, Third Reich needed some space, while Soviet Union was lost in his thoughts, because he was too nervous to sleep. He had a dream where he was being chased to hurt him, and that was too much.
At some point, he fell asleep again and got up after his partner, who was downstairs eating with Japan.
Soviet smiled and sat down next to him. "Italy is such a sleepyhead!", Japan giggled, "Unfortunately, he's too sweet for me to wake him up. Soviet, is your girlfriend too sweet to be woken up?"
He replied: "Yes, much too sweet and when she's woken up, she gets annoyed by everything! So I don't dare to wake her!"
She just laughed before suggesting: "There's less of a storm today, so maybe you'd like to introduce her to us then?" "Yes, that would be a good idea!", he agreed, "But Italy should get up first, too!"
"Did someone summon me here?", he asked, sitting down next to his girlfriend after a kiss.
Third Reich became more nervous and Soviet more excited. They both glanced at each other briefly while their friends were distracted, with Soviet trying to calm him down and Reich communicating his uncertainty to Soviet.
After breakfast, they sat down in the living room. "So, when are we going to visit your girlfriend?", Japan asked excitedly.
Soviet gathered his courage and replied: "Same, but honestly, it's a Countryhuman, who doesn't exactly look feminine." Japanese Empire was irritated and Italy gave him a dirty look. Third Reich only became more afraid.
It wasn't actually as bad as other things the two had experienced, but with Italy being close to them, especially to Reich, it was still very difficult.
Third Reich drew attention to himself: "That's me!" He lowered his head to avoid their gaze. "Soviet and I are in love!", Third Reich said, "And I have the happy relationship that I have longed for and could never have!"
Kingdom of Italy stood up. He was so disappointed and furious. He wanted to yell, but instead, he just grumbled and couldn't get another word out. He stomped angrily out of the house. Japan followed him, a little more quietly. As the two walked away, Soviet called after him: "The USA has attacked Japan!"
Now Reich was the one who had to look at him in shock, while Soviet walked over to him and hugged him lovingly. He leaned into Soviet's chest and began to cry, while Soviet Union gently stroked his back.
《Chapter 31》Connection
The two Countryhumans sat quietly next to each other in front of the stove.
"Sometimes the truth can hurt!", said Soviet Union, "But saying nothing would have either made us vulnerable to blackmail or hurt them more." "I know, but that's not encouraging!", Reich interrupted. "I know!", Soviet agreed with his friend, "Are you disappointed?"
"A little!", Third Reich replied. Soviet, however, had meant something different than he did, which is why he told Reich: "If that's how you feel, I'm happy to stay out of your way."
Confused, Reich looked at him and clung to his arm. "No, you stay with me! Especially now, when I only have you!", contradicted the smaller Countryhuman.
"You're not disappointed in me or our relationship?", asked his partner. Reich looked at him and clarified: "No, I'm disappointed in my friends' reaction!"
Soviet Union smiled slightly and put his arms around him. He was so happy to have Reich and wanted to keep him with him. He'd already shown that he would do anything for him, even if that was what Soviet was chasing.
"Finally, I have the one they can't take away from me!", said Reich, snuggling up to Soviet, who smiled at him.
There was a knock at the door. Soviet let go of Reich and trotted to the front door. Was it Italy and Japan? Soviet opened the door and the postman stood there before the Countryhuman received his letters and closed the door again.
Soviet opened one after the other and read. Meanwhile, Reich was thinking about his next arguments at his company.
The best thing to do now was to find out where the tunnels were. There were many tunnels to hide the worst of their deeds and Reich had to get everyone out and have the tunnels collapse. It would save many children's lives.
Soviet Union said to Reich: "We're getting closer and closer to Washington, D.C. and soon we'll get the Countryhuman of the United States!" "Once we've caught him, we should talk to him!", his partner told him. At first, Soviet was puzzled, then thought for a moment and nodded in agreement.
The red, white and black Countryhuman also asked: "Shall we focus on our companies today?" "Yes! Do you have something planned?", his partner asked curiously. "Of course!", said Third German Reich.
The two waited a while for their friends to return, but they didn't show up.
"Soviet, we should check if the two are okay. I'm worried about them. What if they're lost or injured?", he imagined scenarios. Soviet suggested: "Let's dress warmly and take Duke with us. He should be able to find them."
The two Countryhumans prepared to search for the other two. They were dressed warmly and had worn clothes from the two for the dog to smell.
Together they walked out of the house and into the cold. Duke was on his leash and excited, thinking the two were going for a walk with him. Reich spotted the footprints leading to the right and they followed them with their excited dog.
They followed the trail for a while until they found the two leaning arm in arm against the tree. Third Reich took his key to Soviet's house and went to his two friends.
He didn't look directly at them, but handed them the keys. "If you don't want to be with us anymore, we understand. We won't stand in your way of taking your things and going home.", Reich told them.
When he tried to take his hand back, Italy grabbed his arm and said: "Stay here for a moment!" He had clearly calmed down.
His friends' eyes were fixed on Kingdom of Italy. "I'm sorry I just took off, but are you serious!? You know that being with someone will get you into even bigger trouble?", he asked.
"We know that, we're cautious and it's worth taking this risk to us, because love is such a beautiful feeling!", Reich told him with a smile. Italy then looked at his partner, who was smiling.
"Then the four of us are probably making the same right and maybe wrong decisions!", he laughed halfheartedly. Third German Reich then asked him: "Were you just like that because you're insecure yourself?" To which he received the answer: "Not entirely, but mostly! Now not only are we both more in danger, but you both are too!" "I'm less worried about that!", he told Italy. "Soviet has already shown me what he would do for me and I feel safe with him. Unfortunately, I'm not very good at defending or protecting physically. I'd try, but I wouldn't be much help!"
"You don't have to protect me!", said Soviet Union, hugging Reich from behind, which prompted a sweet giggle from his partner. Soviet smiled happily at his partner.
"You really love each other?", Italy asked the two again. "Yes!", replied the taller one. "We love each other very much, but we're clearly not as close as you two.", Imperial Japan, who had her arms around her partner, couldn't help but giggle. Reich snuggled up to his partner and offered: "You're welcome to stay with us, if you don't mind!" "We'd love to!", she said.
Soviet Union helped his partner get up before Italy and his partner got up. Both were cold from the temperature of the snowy landscape. They went back together, and inside the house, the Countryhumans got ready to work. Duke would come with Reich, as it would take him longer and he also had to look after his dog.
After the Countryhumans had worked long hours, Soviet gathered everyone and drove them to a restaurant before they arrived at his house and spent the evening playing games together. The man of the house also gave in and played along, having a lot of fun. At the end of the day, Japan and Italy went to their room, while Reich and Soviet shared the bedroom.
However, the problem was that this time, Soviet was the one who couldn't sleep while his partner slept. Once again, the tall man was so overwhelmed by his thoughts that he couldn't find peace. At some point, it became too much for him and he got up to get some fresh air.
Slowly, he got out of bed and crept out of the room wearing only his pants, which gave a good view of his body. His entire body was mainly a dark red, while he had a yellow star on his stomach. He had several small yellow stars on his chest, around the large belly star, on his knees, on the top half of his back and down his spine. He had outlined stars, like the one on his face, on the back of his hands and feet. Only on his face were his left eye was, were the sickle and hammer. His healing wounds from the recent shooting were in a bandage. His missing ring finger was particularly noticeable.
If he had real Countryhumans as relatives, he would probably have some markings on him that showed who these relatives were. Third Reich didn't have these markings either, but Italy and Japan did. Italy also had a drawing of Rome on him.
Third Reich had his white circle and black symbol on his face. The black symbol wasn't present anywhere else, as was the case with Soviets symbol. Perhaps these were physical characteristics that indicated they weren't socialists. Third German Reich had a slightly dark red body, white fingers and from between his knees to his feet, the white color also began on him, except that his toes were the only red from there. Reich otherwise only had white speckles on his chest, elbows, thighs and the lower part of his back.
Soviet's main pattern was a five-pointed stars with a single point pointing upwards. When he was created, they wanted his stars to have two points pointing upwards, like horns fortunately for them, that didn't work out. Reich, on the other hand, had circles all over his body. Both Countryhumans also had hair on their chest, stomach, back and legs, only Soviet grew more hair on his arms.
The tall, alert Countryhuman only left the house in his shorts. He didn't step out into the snow. Soviet took a deep breath, the icy air filling his large lungs before exhaling all the air that had cooled him down his heated body a bit.
A relaxed, tired smile formed on his lips as his mind cooled along with his body. The tiredness only grew stronger before he began to shiver and went back inside to lie down in bed.
Some time later, Reich began to have dreams about his past.
His mother's arms were around him, the mother who always loved him, no matter how rebellious he was. He received from her the love and attention he needed to be the big, strong Countryhuman he would later become.
The two hugged each other, smiling. For her, even though he was a Countryhuman and not planned, he was still her son and her everything. His mother kissed his cheek lovingly and he smiled more in return.
His mother's boyfriend entered the kitchen where they both were. He wasn't a nice man, but she tried to see the good in him and have a father for her son. Reich clung closer to his mother. He was regularly beaten by his father, especially because of his already existing rebellious behavior, which the man couldn't handle.
At some point, Third Reich's mother had the courage to throw her boyfriend out and devoted herself completely to her son before she became ill. Reich became homeless because of his lack of money and because he saw himself as a disappointment because he was so different and couldn't find a job that suited him. He spent most of his time in the alleys of the town where they lived, visiting her every day while pretending he was training to be a hairdresser. Lying to her was very painful for him, but he wanted her to be at peace.
Then the day came that she died. He cried for a very long time at her deathbed. Fortunately, the doctors allowed him to grieve. But it took over 10 years before he could finally let go.
After her funeral, where he was driven away by his human relatives, who thought she had only been looking after him and had neglected herself because of him, he was back on the streets, doing little jobs to earn money for food and drink. One day, he had enough money to travel to Bavaria, hoping to achieve something in the big city.
There, he found someone with a similar story to himself. The two homeless, newly grown men stuck together until one day they were separated and both were alone again. Reich subsequently became severely depressed, after which he didn't even bother to get up.
And then his biological father came along and offered to give him a new purpose and Reich, who had nothing to lose, agreed. He traveled to England with his father and taught there with the Soviet Union and a few other people who weren't Countryhumans, but no one was interested in interacting with others. Reich and Soviet, along with a few other Countryhumans, rejected the different languages of the world and the belief that they had to obediently do what they were told, otherwise they would face dire consequences, as they were merely a tool for an organization that had controlled the world for the past 300 years and was striving for complete power over humanity.
Through these preparations, Reich became very cold-hearted and fortunately, he didn't do anything that made him easy to control. After more than 15 years of studying, he had to take care of a company that was being built, where he met his old friend, who was also homeless back then and the two quickly became friends again. This friend of Reich's was the future triple agent, who at the time was only a double agent working for the Illuminati and the Deep State. Third Reich had to work with him because he had been trained by the Illuminati to work for the Deep State.
After a few years, Reich and he had a bitter argument because Reich had become so cold and this argument reawakened the human side in him.
《Chapter 32》Nightmares
Reich woke up annoyed and went downstairs. "I can't stand my past! I'd much rather have a different story!", he muttered. Only then did he realize it was too early to get up and that he was now standing in the kitchen. After a brief consideration, he decided to drink milk and briefly pet Duke to calm himself down. Maybe he could cuddle with Soviet too.
First, he went into Soviet's cold pantry and from there into the refrigerator, which didn't even need electricity at this time of year, as the outside temperature was sufficient to keep everything cool. The Countryhuman took a glass of milk and went into the kitchen to pour himself a glass, which he drank with relish. The milk filled his empty stomach slightly and since it wouldn't rot so quickly, it wouldn't be a problem for his stomach. He then brought the bottle back and cleaned the glass before going to his tired dog, who wasn't lying in his spot downstairs.
The living room was a bit too hot for him, too. The Countryhuman then went around and luckily found the dog in the room he shared with Soviet Union. Third Reich closed the door almost completely and stroked his dog. The dog was soft, fluffy and relaxed. He ran his fingers through the soft fur and smiled. Duke lay there, not moving, as he was too tired. He only opened his eyes slightly to see his owner.
Reich then went to bed. The Countryhuman lay down on the soft bed and moved closer to his partner, who flinched before waking up. Reich was frozen by the strong, surprised twitch.
But then he was grabbed by his partner's two muscular arms and pulled closer. Third Reich began to giggle, which made Soviet Union chuckle.
Third Reich gently pressed his lips to Soviet's, who smiled during the kiss. Both looked into each other's eyes, full of joy and tiredness, before Reich let go and put his arms around him, pressing himself against him.
Both Countryhumans were full of love for each other. Reich asked him: "Soviet, may I try to sleep with you?" Soviet only smiled even more, which was a clear confirmation for him. Reich let go of him and turned his back to Soviet. He shifted so that Soviet's breath wouldn't touch his head so he wouldn't be disturbed and Soviet had an arm around Reich, while Reich's back and Soviet's chest and stomach were also touching him.
After that, they moved less and gradually sank back into their dream worlds, with Reich dreaming that he was a prince with wings and trying to fly up from the street to the palace. However, flying was very tiring, as he had to control them with his arms and couldn't get the momentum to go up. If he flew too steeply, he fell, gliding wouldn't get him far and flapping only brought him a few meters higher.
He flew over the path that led down into a valley before landing on his feet and crashing into the thick trunk of a tree. It took him a moment to recover before he went for a walk to a clear stream. The stream was empty, but he could clearly see the rocky bottom. It was as if the water was only a layer of glass, allowing him to see into it.
Soviet Union was in his dream, in his actual house, both inside and out, it was dark and in his bones he felt that danger lurked outside, wanting to get to him.
Tensely, he crept through his house, repeatedly glancing through the window where red eyes shone in as they flitted past. He watched these lights silently, unmoving, hidden behind a wall, but suddenly, a few of them stopped and stared into his soul.
Soviet Union was frozen with fear. The pair of eyes took on a wide grin with sharp teeth that approached the glass, giving Soviet the strength to run away.
Even though the glass didn't shatter, he knew that this monster was right behind him, chasing him. It lunged at his right side and the Countryhuman, terrified, fell to the ground. The beast grabbed at his face and he tried to keep it away from him while it moved a lot, its empty, glowing red eyes longing to bite into his head.
Suddenly, he woke up. He was panting, shaking, sweating and hugging Reich tightly like a stuffed animal, tears streaming down his face. Surprised, Third Reich woke up and immediately noticed how his partner was feeling, whereupon the latter turned to him and hugged his poor partner. Soviet Union needed time to calm down, but luckily, his partner was there for him.
After a while, he calmed down again and Reich tried to distract him with several kisses on his face, which was a very successful method of calming his partner. Shortly after, Soviet kissed Reich back, whereupon they both smiled and one by one, laid their heads back on the bed or pillow. Then they began to fall asleep again and peace returned.
In the morning, Italy was the first to wake up, while Reich and Soviet woke up at noon, while Japan was still asleep.
Soviet was the first of the rest to wake up and happily looked at his partner, who was still sound asleep next to him. He sighed happily. He couldn't have been happier to wake up with his charming partner lying next to him, asleep. A morning couldn't have started better.
He lay still for a while, but after a while, he too became bored. Fortunately, he heard a knock at the door and quickly got up, then quickly got dressed and went to the front door.
One of his men was standing outside. "Mr. USSR, I'm supposed to deliver an important message to you. An American air squadron bombed Moscow last night. It looks like a complete nightmare!", the man described. Soviet Union looked at him in shock and came with him to take care of it.
Third Reich got up shortly afterward and ate what Italy had cooked for him. He had prepared a special meal for Japanese Empire, as she liked to eat meat. After all, she was an empress and enjoyed well-prepared meat, especially when it was prepared by her Italian kingdom.
Reich was already wondering where his partner was: "Italy, do you know where Soviet is?" "Someone rang the bell a little while ago and then left.", Italy replied from the kitchen.
Reich was already confused as to what must have upset Soviet so much, because he was usually relaxed and waited a bit before reacting, as this gave him more time to think.
Reich's feeling led him to the radio. He followed his instinct and turned it on. And after a brief adjustment, he recognized Soviet's voice, full of anger: "Now we will strike back! The Americans won't defeat us like this..." Reich listened to before the Countryhuman cut the box's power.
He was somewhat disappointed with Soviet Union that the man was so upset and especially after listening to the radio, was only thinking about a previous strike, even though he wanted to work with Reich for peace. At the same time, it was said that something big must have happened for this reaction.
For now, though, Reich had to take care of his dog. He wanted to give him his food now and go for a walk in an hour or two. So he turned to Italy, who helped him, since the dog's food contained meat. He placed the dry food in the water to soften it a bit, but since it took time to absorb it, Italy placed it on the floor.
Shortly afterward, Duke appeared, quite hungry, but he was more inclined to hide the food. He tryed to hide his food, but since there was no earth for it, he shoveled it in with air.
When Italy saw this, he started laughing loudly, whereupon Reich entered the room and joined in. Shortly after, Duke realized he wasn't getting anywhere with shoveling and started eating, whereupon Reich took him away because the food wasn't ready.
Shortly afterward, Reich took care of lighting the fire because it was slowly getting cold in the house again. Duke interfered again and lay down next to his owner, right on Reich's lap, before he fell over. "You cheeky little lapdog!", laughed Third German Reich and scratched his belly, which caused his dog to scratch with his hind leg.
Then he took his hand away again and his dog grumbled in a challenge, which caused his owner to laugh again. "You crazy dog!", he said to him and he heard more challenging noises before he was presented with the dog's belly, along with his cheeky grin.
《Chapter 33》Family of Problems
The dog had been fed and Reich already had plans to go for a walk. Soviet usually took over the walking, but now Reich had the chance to explore the area himself. There probably wasn't much more than a snow-covered forest, but the glittering snow was certainly beautiful to look at.
Suddenly, Reich also remembered that he had to return to his country, even if only briefly, as he wanted to go to the grave of his old friend to say goodbye.
He didn't have many opportunities to simply grieve or reflect at the moment. So much was going on with his emotional chaos from Soviet and the war he was involved in.
Even though he didn't get money anymore since the death of Britain, he spent the money he still had wisely. His family controlled the banks, which financed these wars. Fortunately, Reich had been able to learn a lot about managing money, which gave him an advantage.
Now the mission was to capture Washington, D.S., and Pennsylvania. The cities didn't belong to the United States. The USA was already very weak, as it was just one of the British-conquered territories. What belonged to them actually belonged to Britain.
Yet his company and America's were similar. The people were more like livestock than anything else. Livestock who had the illusion of being free. The so-called land of the free was only the land of the Freemasons.
There was also the so-called Law of the Sea. If you didn't declare that you were alive, you were considered dead after seven years.
So much was happening in the world and yet people knew or saw little of it and those who possessed this knowledge were branded as crazy.
The Countryhumans, on the other hand, weren't considered people, but they were also more like livestock, used to represent countries or companies. Most Countryhumans were corruptible. One party with high-ranking people and you could forget your previous life!
Was this legend of Tartaria really true and was this story the beginning of the gradual downfall of the world?
"Reich?", Italy asked me and the person addressed was terribly shocked. Had he really drifted so far into his thoughts? And he had thought just now that he hadn't had enough time to think!
"Yes?", he asked his friend Italy back. He replied: "You were so far away! You were staring into the wall!"
"Excuse me, I was just having a few thoughts about the world!", said Third German Reich, and after a brief thought, he asked his old friend: "How do you imagine an ideal world for yourself?"
Somewhat surprised, the Kingdom of Italy glanced at him briefly before sitting down next to him on the well-sprung sofa. This question was something new for him, which is why he thought carefully before answering: "Corruption should be eliminated and religions should have less power!"
Italy's answer was too brief compared to Third Reich's answer. The redder Countryhuman said: "Everyone should live in peace! All animals, humans, plants and Countryhumans! There should be no more governments and everyone should live freely and confidently. Joy and love should be the default fealings and fear, anger and hatred should be forgotten! I also want everything to be possible with enough willpower and everything to be safe for everyone! There should also be no debt, force or obligations and everyone should be healthy and happy and enjoy life!"
"That's a lot, but it sounds very impossible!", Italy said. However, Reich said: "I have less belief that it is impossible!"
"By the way, do you want to go for a walk with Japan, me and Duke?", Reich asked. He declined: "The weather is much too cold for us! We're staying here!" "No problem!", he said.
When Soviet returned, he was surprised to see that the dog's leash was gone. Fortunately, he had nothing to worry about, as the area was safe. No bears and no hidden lakes.
Soviet Union entered his house and saw a couple in love on the sofa. The two were deeply engaged in a passionate French kiss. They were so engrossed in the kissing that they didn't notice the homeowner.
The big Countryman, in turn, began to worry about Duke and especially Reich, who were wandering alone outside in the snow-covered landscape. Had they gotten lost or had someone ordered them to kill them?! He had to rescue them immediately! Third Reich might have gotten too cold! Something had to be done!
The worried Soviet Union immediately prepared himself, taking his rifle and ammunition with him, before leaving the house and following Reich's tracks.
Meanwhile, Reich walked calmly and relaxed along the path. He wasn't worried at all. He was cold, though, but only in his face.
Carefree, he and his dog struggled through the deep snow and discovered that he had arrived back at Soviet's house, where Soviet's car was parked.
Reich immediately became excited and warmer with the car at the house, believing he was returning to his partner. Excited, he walked with quicker steps to the warm little house, unlocked the door and went inside.
Then he noticed that Soviet's coat wasn't hanging where it should have been and his brown boots were also missing. Reich soon thought that Soviet was out getting more wood and after he was undressed and Duke was dry, he headed toward the living room, where his friends were huddled together.
"There are two in love!", Reich said. The two Countryhumans on the sofa were slightly startled and looked in the direction of their friend. The blushing and equally embarrassed Kingdom of Italy said to his old friend, pointing first to himself and then to his partner: "How can I, poor man, resist the beauty of my empress!" He emphasized the end of his sentence very dramatically, whereupon she gently nudged him in the arm with her elbow.
Italy began to laugh and she giggled, while Reich just rolled his eyes and smiled, which only provoked more laughter.
Third Reich left the two lovebirds and went into the kitchen, where he mixed himself a sweet little soup, which he then enjoyed for himself. He didn't want to go into the living room, even though he enjoyed the glowing, warm fire, because his friends certainly wouldn't leave him alone to eat.
Soviet Union finally arrived and unlocked the door. "Reich?", he called into his house. That was the cue for the eating Countryhuman, who briefly left his food to go into the hallway and see Soviet's relief. "Is something wrong?", the smaller Countryhuman asked his partner, who immediately threw his muscular arms around him and hugged him to his heart.
However, Reich was now feeling a little cold, as Soviet was wearing his coat, which was still chilled by the weather outside.
"Soviet, I have a request!", the blue-eyed Countryhuman asked, after realizing that Soviet couldn't expect an answer to his previous question.
"What is it?", his large, cuddly partner asked curiously, looking at the one to whom he had given his heart. Third German Reich answered him: "I would like to travel back to my country for a short time today to say goodbye to my old friend, since unfortunately he won't be getting a funeral march."
Soviet immediately replied with concern: "That's dangerous for you! I can't accompany you because I have a lot of work to do!" "Then you go to work and I'll be back at my company for a bit. The visit will be so unexpected that nothing can happen!" Reich said with confidence.
However, Soviet Union did not like the idea of his Reich being completely alone, without him as his protector.
"Of course, I'll also make sure the police protect me!", Reich tried to persuade him, "It's really very important to me to say goodbye to him!"
They looked into each other's eyes. Reich clearly had a kind of begging look on his face. His large, pleading eyes looked upwards and a sweet, heartwarming smile. Soviet had to sigh as he had to give in, since he couldn't say "no" to the one who had won his heart with just one look.
"All right! But I'll send a few of my people with you!", he gave up. Third Reich smiled happily and contentedly at his success.
Only a few hours later, Third Reich arrived at the large airport before immediately making his way to his old friend's grave. He took a taxi to the small town.
Once there, he walked to the square in the center of the town, where shops and the occasional market stood. A fountain with an angel stood in the middle of the square. A bit of snow lay like a veil over everything. Everything seemed so empty. Not a soul was to be seen. In front of the fountain was a picture of his old friend with a few flowers.
Third German Reich walked in front of the picture and knelt down before closing his eyes with a heavy heart. He wished so much that this hadn't had to happen. He sat there quietly, sending positive thoughts and memories to his deceased friend. "You will remain in my memory with fond memories!", said the Countryhuman, "I hope you have a more pleasant new life."
Meanwhile, Soviet sat in front of his stove in his house, where he was all alone because the other couple was exploring the area with Duke. Worried about his dear partner, he sat in silence, which was occasionally interrupted by the crackling of the fire.
But this was only a short visit, so he didn't really have to worry. "I hope my Reich has a good time!", Soviet said to himself, encouragingly.
"But this traitor won't have that!", Soviet heard behind him. A deep, disturbing voice sounded behind him. There was something sinister about this voice that could never have come from a human.
The voice filled Soviet with panic and a cold shiver ran down his spine. He quickly realized how badly he had messed up and how he should never have come back here. It was also very likely that he would die here.
"He will find himself in this world again, like you and everyone else in this world!", said the being in human form.
Soviet Union quickly stood up. He didn't look at him, too much fear ran through his body. Did he have a weapon on him, the Countryhuman wondered.
"Your little 'friend' is currently all alone at the grave of an acquaintance, without his guard dog and without you!", the figure clarified, "You're usually always with him! I'm surprised you two continue to be so naive and stupid. It just shows who the weakest members of your families are!"
Soviet blamed himself for letting his lover go alone. He and Reich were in danger. How could he be so stupid?!
"Abandoning your poor little Reich was a stupid idea, but I have a suggestion for you!", he said. "You will stop deliveries to Reich's territory and stay out of the war or you'll have to say goodbye to your friend!"
Soviet's heart stopped. Something would happen to his beloved Reich if he didn't agree. Reich had a lot of luck, but only because of him. On the other hand, this was still about his country and that of his partner. But he already loved his Reich more than anything!
"Well?", he heard behind him. "Good... if you give me your word that you'll stay away from Third Reich!", Soviet Union agreed. He couldn't live without his Reich. He only wanted a future with it.
Soviet Union heard nothing more and turned around. His guest had disappeared.
After a sigh, he stood up and set off to fulfill his duty. And from what he'd heard, they knew about his relationship, so his Third Reich was in danger at any time if he didn't.
Third German Reich was oblivious to Soviet Union's problems. He was able to say goodbye without a care and walked through the town with his guards, after which he bought himself some fresh food and new paper and pens. He also got some special wool and needles for himself and his partner to knit together.
He even took extra time to learn knitting from a woman who wondered if she had gone crazy, since the leader of her country went to her shop to learn how to knit.
Satisfied, with new knowledge and full pockets, he made his way back to the plane to hopefully make his partner very happy.
