"We are never watching a sad movie like that again." I stated, looking at Ae-Young.

"Hey, but that's literally what best friends are for." She replied, lightly elbowing my side.

"To cry at sad movies with?" I replied, seeing her nod. "Is that really all?"

"Yes, of course. Do best friends do anything else?" She replied, letting out a small giggle.

"Remind me again why I'm friends with you...." I joked, raising an eyebrow at her.

"Oh hush, you know you love me." She simply replied, waving her hand around as if to fan away my previous words.

"You know what else best friends do together?" I stated, looking at her with a sudden idea.

"Gossip?" She suggested.

"No....well yeah. But that's not what I was thinking." I quickly replied, showing a small mischievous smile.

"What were you thinking then?" She asked almost worriedly.

"I don't know, maybe finally finishing that project we had?" I replied, thinking back to the project our professor had assigned....about a week ago now.

"Ugh, but I don't want to." Ae-Young whined, sighing loudly.

"You know, I think you're spending too much with Hyunjin, you're starting to become just as dramatic as him." I muttered, as Ae-Young lightly hit my arm. "We have to though. It's worth 10% of our next grade."

"It's fine, I'll just get next to full marks in the next exam." She stated, and I couldn't help but let out a giggle. "What? I've got nearly full marks before...."

"Yeah, but not since college started." I explained, trying to contain my laughter. "The moment you started college, you stopped studying as much. So I wish you luck with that, if that's how you're going to do it."

"Fine." She breathed out, in a huff, just like a kid would do, if they were told they couldn't have a treat before dinner. "But there's just one problem."

"You have an excuse you've been dying to use, but now since you've already agreed you can't use it?" I guessed, earning myself yet another a light hit on my arm. This could be a new record for me. "Kidding....not really though-

"As I was saying, before I was so rudely interrupted." She stated, giving me a playful glare. "My brother is visiting today. And I don't mind him there, and you being there. I just know you're a little awkward around new people."

"Is this Changbin?" I asked, seeing Ae-Young nod her head once. "You're right, I would be awkward."

"C'mon please? I really want you two to meet!" She pleaded, holding onto my arm.

"Why?" I simply asked.

"I just have a good feeling you two will get along great!" She replied with a bright smile.

"My goodness, you and your feelings...." I mumbled, rolling my eyes.

"I'm serious...." She said with a laugh, as I raised an eyebrow. "I'm only laughing because you keep making me. I really do mean it."

"Fine, fine. Just, don't leave me alone."

I walked up to Ae-Young's apartment, and lightly knocked on her door. After waiting two seconds, maybe three, I got bored, so I knocked louder and wouldn't stop until I heard the click of the lock.

"Who's there?" She asked, as she opened the door.

"Mustache." I replied, seeing Ae-Young raise an eyebrow.

"Mustache who?" She replied, and I showed a small smile.

"I mustache you to let me inside, because the halls are freezing." I stated, hearing a small giggle from Ae-Young.

"C'mon in then." She replied, opening the door wide enough to let me inside. "I haven't heard that one before."

"Yeah, I saw it online somewhere. Thought I may as well tell you it today." I replied, seeing Ae-Young roll her eyes, yet still have a smile on her face.

"So, did you bring everything you need?" She asked, as I set down some of my things, while taking off my shoes. I nodded my head lightly, pointing to the bag I had taken with me.

"Do you have everything out that you need?" I asked, seeing Ae-Young shake her head lightly.

"Nope." She simply stated.

"What do you mean no?" I asked. I began to take off my coat, as I waited for a reply.

"I mean no, I don't have everything ready, because you literally walk like you're on a race course." She replied, and I couldn't help but let out a small giggle.

"I'm a fast walker, I can't help it." I stated, shrugging my shoulders.

"Oh shoot." Ae-Young's voice suddenly sounded. "I forgot to get things you asked for, when I was walking back home."

"That's not a problem, you can just go now." I explained, seeing Ae-Young nod her head. She quickly walked away to get her coat, as I too went back to put mine on.

"Wait, what are you doing?" Ae-Young quickly asked, puting her hands in front of her, shaking them as if to tell me to stop.

"I'm putting on my coat, to go with you." I explained, before seeing her shake her head in reply.

"What? No, you can't." She retaliated.

"Why not? I go with you all the time." I added, even though I knew why she was against it.

"What if Changbin arrives?" She began to explain. "If you're not here, then you can't let him in."

"That's exactly my point." I stated, much to Ae-Young's surprise.

"What?"

"I told you, I'm really awkward. If he does end up getting here before you come back, what do I even do?" I explained, letting out a sigh. "I never know what to talk about, when I meet new people...."

"I don't know....talk about....music?" She suggested. "Please, I just don't want to have him waiting for me."

"Fine, alright then." I finally said, having given up on trying at this point. "You owe me one though...."

"Thank you! You're the best!" She squealed, pulling me into a tight hug.

"At this point, I don't even doubt that I am." I whispered, seeing Ae-Young roll her eyes at my thoughts after she let go.

"Wow, so modest." She remarked, showing a playful smile.

"Hey, you're the one telling me I'm the best all the time. So I may as well start believing it." I replied, seeing a smiling Ae-Young looking down at me. "Just hurry back!"

"I will, don't worry." Ae-Young reassured, as she put on her shoes, coat and other little bits, before heading out the door.

I sighed lightly, as I thought of what I could do while I waited. I then quickly decided on setting up a few things we would need for our project.

After taking a few minutes to set up everything, I walked into the kitchen in search of a drink. I've been here quite a few times, so you'd think I would know where things are. The problem is, Ae-Young tends to get bored of where things are, and constantly moves them around.

At that thought, there was a light knock on the door. I walked up to the door, thinking it must be Ae-Young. But just before I opened the door, Changbin came to mind. It might be him.

My hand rested on the handle, as I let out a small breath I had been holding in. I knew I couldn't just leave him out there, because I would have to open the door eventually. So when I heard another knock on the door, I almost instantly opened it.

"Hey....oh. Ummm, hello!" A voice suddenly said, the second I swung open the door. There stood a tall male, brown hair, fair skin, resembling Ae-Young almost too well.

"I, uh, I'm....You're Changbin right?" I managed to say, mentally cursing at myself for messing up while talking. He nodded his head lightly, as I did too in response. "Come on in then."

"So you're a friend of Ae-Young's then?" Changbin asked, as he took off his shoes and coat. I nodded my head once, before replying.

"My name's Y/N...." I stated, showing a small smile. He did too, as we both walked over to the sofa. Both of us sat down opposite each other, as we exchanged awkward glances. "Ae-Young should be back soon enough. She just went to the shop, to get some things we needed."

"Oh, that's no bother." He replied, as he gave a small nod. Then, there was silence. Both of us had turned to the ground for help, just looking at it. The two of us were clearly hoping maybe the other would speak up, so we didn't have to. But thankfully for me, it wasn't I who had dared to be so confident. "It's rather cold outside."

"Yeah? Oh, I think Ae-Young was bundled up enough." I replied, wanting to keep the conversation going a little bit. Even though the conversation is talking about the weather, a clear sign of an awkward situation, at least it was something.

"She does bumble up well, doesn't she? She likes scarves, and hats-

"And gloves." We both said at the same time, making us both let out a light giggle. Then came the silence again, except this time, it didn't feel as uncomfortable as before. "I can make you a hot drink, if you want...."

"Do you know your way around the kitchen?" He asked, as I simply shrugged my shoulders.

"Sometimes I think I do, until I'm proven wrong. It's like a game. Will I guess where Ae-Young put the cups this time? I guess we'll find out." I stated, earning a soft smile from Changbin. I got up from the sofa, and walked towards the kitchen. "Tea, coffee? Oh! There's also hot chocolate!"

"How could I turn that down?" He replied, showing that cute smile of his yet again. Cute? What? I just met the guy, what am I saying....I'm not wrong though-

There was a sudden knock on the door, quite loud too, might I add. Of course, it was Ae-Young. Changbin got up from his seat, walking over to the door, and opened it, letting her inside.

"You're here!" Ae-Young basically shouted, as I saw her hug her brother tightly. "It's been too long!"

"Hasn't it?" I heard him reply. Both shared a small conversation by the door, as I waited for a pause in between their talking.

"You want a hot chocolate too?" I asked, seeing Ae-Young nod instantly.

"Is that even a question?" She joked, as she began to take off her shoes, coat, hat....and gloves. "I think I have everything."

"That's good." I replied, as I brought two cups into the open area, that was the living room. I handed one cup to Changbin, and the other to Ae-Young.

"Thank you!" He replied, showing that same smile. A light blush came onto my face, as I thought back to my previous thoughts. But once Ae-Young spoke up, I was pulled out of them yet again.

"You know what, I think I actually did forget something." Ae-Young stated, as she looked into her bag full of purchased goods. "That's right, I forgot pencils. Silly me!"

"Ae-Young, we literally have laptops, we don't need them. Plus, I'm sure I have some-

"No no, I don't like the ones you get. Don't worry, I won't be too long, you two just sit and talk for a bit. I should be back again soon, next time I'll have everything." Ae-Young quickly said, as she rushed to put everything back on. I wore a confused expression now, which Ae-Young seemed to notice. But rather than explaining anything to me, she just sent a wink my way, while motioning to Changbin.

"Wow, what a way to make it obvious...." I muttered, as soon as Ae-Young left. I heard a small chuckle from across from me, and I instantly went red.

"I guess we both know what she was thinking then, right?" He replied, as I nodded in reply. "Let's not let her down then, I think it would be fun to get to know you."

"You're setting yourself up for disappointment there." I replied with a chuckle, seeing Changbin shake his head lightly.

"I highly doubt that. My sister has spoken quite fondly of you, so I know you have to be quite the interesting person to impress her." He joked, as we both let out a laugh.

"Well then, I guess it might be fun getting to know you too." I added, seeing a small smile appear on his lips. "I just have no idea what to talk about...."

"Well, let's start simple.... What sort of music do you like?"

A/N

+ Thank you BaeTaeTae7 for requesting~!! This was honestly so much fun to write!! This ended up being over 2000 words, which is my longest imagine in this book so far~

+ I didn't know what Changbin's sister's name was. It didn't have an answer on google, probably because he hasn't mentioned her name before, so I ended up just chosing a name. I hope you didn't mind that~

+ I really hope you enjoyed it~ Have a lovely day/night~!! ♥️♥️
