A/N: I need some more crack ships guys. I'm running out of ideas
Usopp x Sanji

Upon the Sunny, the day was warm and bright. The ocean clear and cool, the straw hats relaxing in the sun. Luffy, Usopp, and Chopper running around on deck. Sanji cooking in the kitchen with Zoro asleep outside the door. Nami and Robin relaxing in the sun. Brook playing music and Franky building away.

"Okay! Ill count! You guys hide!" Chopper called.

Usopp and Luffy took off. Usopp ran up into a kitchen, Sanji looked up at the door seeing Usopp peeping out to the counting Chopper.

"If you plan on stealing any food I'll kick you out." Sanji huffed cutting more vegetables.

"I'm hiding from Chopper we're playing hide and seek." Usopp said.

Sanji didn't respond, he continued to cut vegetables then scrap them into a boiling pot of broth.

"Here I come!" Chopper called.

Usopp gasped climbing under the sink. Sanji smirked to himself standing in front of the sink. He started to wash vegetables, when Chopper walked in.

"Sanji! Has Luffy or Usopp been in here?" Chopper asked.

"That isn't how you play the game Chopper. You have to find them yourself." Sanji chuckled.

Chopper pouted looking under the table and in cabinets and then stomped out.

"He's gone Usopp." Sanji said.

He stepped on the door, Usopp pushed on the door.

"Hey! What's the big idea!" Usopp called.

Sanji snickered to himself as Usopp tired to push on the door but it wouldn't budge.

"I'll let you out of you do me a favor." Sanji smiled.

"Oh yeah what?"

"Give me a kiss. On the lips."

Usopp was silent. Sanji leaned against the sink twirling a few strands of his hair.

"Do we have a deal?" Sanji asked.

He backed up and squatted down in front of the door. He opened the door to a bright faced Usopp his knees to about his nose. His eyes turned to Sanji. He leaned into the cabinet breathing into Usopp's ear.

"Sanji stop." Usopp said turning away.

"I can just call Chopper."

Usopp huffed kissing Sanji briefly. Then pulled back.

"Th-there happy?!" Usopp blushed.

Sanji chuckled licking the bottom of his lip softly then stood up letting the man out. He leaned against the door as Usopp crawled out and cracked his back. Sanji eyed him as he walked out of the kitchen to his new hiding spot. Sanji and Usopp have sort of a thing. Sanji took his interest first before Usopp by sweet gestures and flirting. But Usopp was dumb enough to not catch on and it killed Sanji. Well until Usopp had night shift and attacked him with a soft and polite kiss. Usopp claimed he didn't not like it. But they weren't dating, no no. They both wanted it to be something but Usopp didn't want to risk it.

Later that night marines attacked shooting and coming aboard the Sunny. A few of them helped out mostly Zoro, Sanji, and Luffy. Usopp was on the sidelines attacking them from their backs. Well until one marine had the gall to fire at Usopp. Sanji flipped over pushing Usopp out of the way and getting struck with the bullet in his chest. Usopp turned and watched as Sanji's breath became sharp. Blood started to ooze from the open wound in his chest. Everything around them was in slow motion.

"SANJI?!" Usopp cried.

Sanji looked up at him and smiled. He said something, but it wasn't loud enough for Usopp to hear. Before Sanji fell down on the wooden deck. Usopp couldn't move, his heart began to ache and sink. His eyes welded up in tears, Sanji's dead and it was because of him.

"Sanji?!" Chopper cried.

He rushed over to Sanji flipping him over and seeing the open wound staining one of his suits.

"Hang in there Sanji." Chopper said.

He looked up at a frozen Usopp just staring at them.

"Usopp?! What happened?!"

He didn't answer, his throat was too swollen for him to answer. Everything was fuzzy, Chopper was calling for help. Eventually Zoro came picking up Sanji and taken into the medical room. The marines were all defeated and Luffy turned to Usopp standing blankly at a pool of blood on the sunny. Luffy rushed up to him seeing that he was okay.

"Who got hurt?" Luffy asked.

Usopp's eyes looked at Luffy and he broke down. Luffy had a hard time trying to figure out what Usopp was sobbing about.

"Sanji's dead because of me!" Usopp cried.

Luffy knelt down beside him and patted his head.

"Sanji's not gonna die. He's too strong." Luffy said.

Choppers door swung open with Zoro walking out. He yawned and propped himself next to the door. Chopper hopped down and tugged on Usopp's overalls.

"Sanji's okay."

Usopp grabbed him hugging him and crying on him. Chopper hugged him back. That night the food was made by Nami, it wasn't as good as Sanji's. But Usopp didn't eat. He sat outside the door leaning against the railing. He hugged his knees and looked at the door.

"Hey, mind if I sit?" Zoro asked.

Usopp nodded, Zoro sat down next to him taking a drink of sake.

"Sanji's gonna be mad you drank that." Usopp said.

"Sanji getting mad is the least of my problems."

Usopp didn't say anything but bury his head in his knees.

"You know it's not your fault right?"

Usopp turned to Zoro looking at the door.

"Sanji's an idiot, but it was a smart move. He's strong enough to survive a bullet."

Usopp felt the guilt in his stomach start to lighten. Zoro was right, Sanji could survive anything.

"You can see him if you want." Zoro said.

Usopp shook his head, "I can't."

"Well, Sanji would want you to see him."

Zoro was right, he got up and opened the door. Usopp stood and he stepped in shutting the door behind him. But that's how far he would walk into the room. Sanji lied on one of the cots, a mask on his face and breathing machine next to him. A hush  beeping of the heart monitor next to him. His eyes closed and hands placed on his stomach. Usopp looked down fiddling with his hands and looked up to Sanji again. Sanji looked up at him for a brief moment before rolling back into unconsciousness.

"Sanji?" Usopp asked.

Sanji didn't respond, Usopp walked closer and knelt down next to his bed. Usopp rested his forehead on Sanji's arm. It was colder then normal. Usopp looked up grabbing a blanket and putting it over Sanji. He took Sanji's hands and placed them on the blanket. One of his hands kept with Sanji's.

"You didn't have to save me." Usopp said, "I'm not worth it, I don't even know why you did."

Usopp fell silent, he didn't want to bring it up anymore or the sad memory. He didn't want to feel corrupted by sad thoughts of Sanji not waking up.

"Remember the time we went swimming? And a fish swam up your shorts?"

Usopp giggled remembering Sanji squirming around trying to get the fish out of his shorts.

"Remember the time when you and Zoro fought in your sleep and woke us all up?"

Sanji would battle Zoro in his sleep and they both would have an all out brawl in their sleep.

"Remember," Usopp squeezed Sanji's hand, "When you told me you liked me?"

The full moon, the soft breeze and Sanji's hand touched Usopp's interlocking fingers with him. Sanji confessed his crush for the long nosed sharp shooter. Once he finished he gave a large smile to him.

"Remember when you kissed me?"

Usopp smiled touching his lips, Usopp was asleep on deck and Sanji kissed his forehead softly. Usopp brought Sanji's hand to his lips and kissed it. Placing his hand on Usopp's cheek. Its been days, Usopp hadn't left Sanji in four days. Usopp sat on the floor watching Sanji. Chopper came in and replaced Sanji's bandages. Then would give him medicine then leave.

"Usopp!" Luffy cried coming into the room.

Usopp didn't move or look at Luffy. His thumb kept the rhythm rubbing against Sanji's hand.

"Come play with Chopper and me." Luffy said.

"Can't, I'm waiting for Sanji to wake up." Usopp said.

"Then," He took a seat next to Usopp, "I'll wait with you."

Usopp smiled, Luffy put his hand on Usopp's and Sanji's.

"You think he's gonna be okay?" Usopp asked.

Luffy nodded, "And he can play with us too."

Usopp sighed, "I guess a game of tag would be fun."

Luffy gasped poking Usopp's nose and running out of the room. He howled at Chopper that Usopp was it.

"I will be right back, don't wake up without me." Usopp said.

He took off outside chasing after Luffy and Chopper. Zoro walked into the medical room. Sanji was sitting up taking the breathing mask off.

"How you feeling?" Zoro asked.

"Gross. Like I haven't bathed in days." Sanji said.

"Usopp is out playing with Chopper and Luffy. You might want to wake up a bit later. He hasn't left that spot in days."

"Usopp? How sweet."

Sanji smiled pulling up his blanket.

"Usopp's coming back you might want to go back to sleep."

Sanji smiled laying back in bed pulling the breathing mask on. Usopp came trotting in.

"Oh Zoro, you came to watch Sanji?" Usopp asked.

"Yeah, you know. You should tell him how you feel. Since he can't hear you anyway. It will get that last bit of guilt off your shoulders." Zoro said.

Usopp turned to Sanji, maybe he should. It's not like Sanji could hear him or anything. Zoro left the room going to the kitchen for another bottle of Sanji's secret stash of Sake. Usopp sat next to Sanji taking his hand. He spoke softly to Sanji.

"Hey Sanji, I know you can't hear me and all. But I like you, sitting here next to you for four days waiting for you to wake up has made me realize. I'm in love with you." Usopp smiled.

He leaned over pulling Sanji's breathing mask off and kissed Sanji softly. Sanji slowly opened his eyes peering at Usopp. He pulled back with a soft mwah, Sanji smiled. Usopp's eyes widened and he froze seeing Sanji's blue eye looking up at him. He pulled off his mask to his chest.

"Usopp, I didn't know you felt that way about me." Sanji smiled.

Usopp became a bright red and pulled down his hat over his face. Sanji chuckled sitting up.

"I-I got to go."

Before Usopp could run off Sanji grabbed his wrist pulling him back.

"Aren't you going to let me have a say?" Sanji smiled.

Usopp sat next to him avoiding eye contact.

"I'm in love with you too." Sanji smiled.

Usopp's face was a deep red now flicking his eyes back from Sanji and his feet. Sanji tapped his lips asking for another kiss. Usopp leaned in and kissed him.
