Wedding Bells
A/N: Happy Valentines Day. If you don't have a valentine. That's okay. I still love you :) Oh! Quick vote, did everyone like sisters in pink where Sanji went between male and female clothes?
It washed over, a feeling of nervousness. It drowned and suffocated his mind, playing made up scenarios of what could happen. But. probably won't. If he could clutch his hands any tighter, he'd rip out his blonde hair. Or shut his eyes shut any harder, he'd permanently blind himself. For he is the one to wear white, with a cute little green rose pinned to his coat.
They say your wedding goes by so fast, you should cherish any moment that happens.
He finally let go, letting his hair fall back into place, besides being a bit messy. His eyes finally opened to look at himself in the mirror in front of him. Slowly he approached looking at himself in the mirror.
"Poor sap." He muttered.
Tilting the mirror up he looked at himself. Adjusting his coat and his hair, he brushed his hair away from his curled brows. Then checked his clean up job with shaving his face. But he seemed to be alright. He took a breath looking to himself in the mirror.
"What a lucky man he is."
Stepping back from the mirror he sat back onto the couch. He slumped back against the white plush throwing an arm over his eyes.
"Sanji?"
Opening his eyes he peered up to the door, "What is it Luffy?"
"Can I come in?"
"Sure."
The door opened as Luffy stepped through. Pushing back his straw hat onto his back, he adjusted his suit before shutting the door. Sanji threw his arm away from his face and looked up to the ceiling. Luffy sat next to him while he rummaged in his pocket to a small packet of gummy candies.
"I swear to god if that is the food I made last night-"
"No. I bought it."
"With whose money?"
"Ace's."
Sanji chuckled sitting up on his elbows turning to Luffy, "How is he doing?"
"Zoro? Oh. he's the same as you."
"Oh?"
"Nervous, and mean."
Sanji chuckled, "Sounds like him."
"I just gave him some advice and I guess that worked."
"And what was that?"
"Just imagine him in his underwear. And everything will be fine."
Sanji pursed his lips as his ears grew to a hot red and a hue across his cheeks.
Imagine that, in his underwear? How could he. Just. Zoro. in his.
"Sanji your nose is bleeding again."
He perked up to Luffy handing him a tissue. Sanji gingerly took it before wiping away the blood and stuffed some up his nose. Luffy watched as Sanji sat on the couch leaning over the edge. Sanji fiddled with his fingers, he looked over to Luffy before back to his hands.
"I'm. I'm glad you're here."
"Zoro said you would enjoy some company."
"Luffy! Where are you!"
He stiffened as Sanji glanced to him then back to the door. Luffy tried to get Sanji to be quiet, but Nami came in anyway. Her hair pinned up into a bun and she wore a skimpy green dress with a yellow rose on her wrist. She shut the door heading into the room pulling out a comb from her hair.
"Sanji hold him while I untangle that mess."
Luffy screamed for bloody murder as Sanji held him down while Nami brushed back his wild mane. Once finished Sanji let him go while he bolted from the room to find his big brother. Probably. Nami rolled her eyes sitting next to Sanji as he chuckled shutting the door. He sat next to her, she turned to him fixing up his hair a bit. But soon left it alone.
"How are you doing?"
"I'm nervous." Sanji sighed.
"I know, but. Once you see Zoro, everything will calm you down. Then you will walk into your happily ever after."
Sanji pulled his cigarette box out from his pocket and his lighter. But Nami snatched it away before he could light one up. He grunted turning to Nami who stuffed it down her cleavage.
"Your not gonna smell like smoke the day of your wedding." Nami huffed.
Sanji frowned resting back on his hands, "Well, how is he doing? I haven't seen him in. a few days."
"He is just fine. Antsy, but just fine."
"Nami! Luffy! We need you guys!"
Everyone perked up to Usopp poking out into the room. He grinned as Nami left while Sanji sat alone once more. The tide of anxiety pulled back while Sanji's mind started to go over what could happen all over again. He was more nervous of Zoro getting cold feet. And leaving him alone.
But.
There was a soft knocking on the door.
Sanji furrowed, it was soft. And gentle. The door was soon opened as a fluff of white entered the room and shut the door. Sanji smiled softly to the little girl reaching up on her tippy toes to lock the door. She smiled turning back to Sanji and brushed the wrinkles off her dress. He climbed off the couch to kneel down to her. She giggled going up and embracing him.
"He's been worried about you."
Sanji pulled back and smiled softly, "Have you been keeping a close eye on him?"
She nodded, "Yes daddy, I have. But he keeps wandering away."
"Why am I not surprised."
"I came to check on you, just like Zoro said."
"And I'm glad you did. You look beautiful Loulee."
Sanji's daughter. His own flesh in blood who had blessed the wedding, with the exception she would be in it. Which Zoro agreed, earning the title of being Loulee's step father. She did love Zoro as much as she loved her birth father. He was there for her when she needed him most, and for her father. All that she wanted was to make her father happy, which Zoro was able to make possible.
"Loulee! It's about time, we need you now." Robin called.
"But. I-"
"Come on Loulee your dad will be out soon." Zoro said, "I can't wait any longer."
"I'll be alright, you go with Zoro and Robin."
She nodded as Sanji went to the door and opened it. He pushed Loulee through before a hand took his. Sanji looked to see Zoro's hand holding his. He smiled softly as they intertwined fingers. Sanji leaned against the wall as Zoro was on the other side.
"Why did you think being away from me for three days was a good idea?" Zoro asked.
"So you could miss me more."
They both chuckled, Loulee placed her hand on theres and smiled up at both of them.
"We can finally be a family now." She grinned.
"Oh Loulee." Zoro hummed, "Once I met you, and started to date your dad, we've always been family."
She smiled as did Sanji.
"We better go. Come on you guys."
Zoro kissed Sanji's hand before they left. Leaving Sanji to bare the last few minutes of being cooped up in the room. But this time it was his turn to emerge from the room. Zeff stepped in with his bundle of flowers and his cane.
"Come on boy. I ain't got all day."
Sanji smiled taking his arm and the flowers while they walked down the long hall. Zeff glanced to Sanji before back down to the hall and sighed.
"Relax, your fidgeting too much."
"I'm sorry pops. What if-"
"Anything that happens, we will still love you."
Sanji smiled, "Thanks pops."
They then stood before a set of double set of doors. Sanji stood proud clutching onto his flowers. Zeff smirked as the doors soon opened. Taking there first steps in. Sanji's eyes kept to the green haired man standing at the altar. He seemed taken back and surprised by Sanji, he was breathless. Earning Sanji's smile. Loulee stood next to Zoro holding his hand. She snapped him out of it as Sanji stood before him.
"Are you gonna cry?" Loulee whispered.
"Tch. no." Zoro said.
Sanji reached over wiping away a tear from his cheek, "You don't have to be tough all the time."
Loulee gave a soft awe clutching Zoro's hand. Loulee let go sitting on Zeff's lap while Zoro and Sanji took hands.
It was a lovely wedding. Sanji got emotional and cried a little as Zoro exchanged his vows. When Sanji had to exchange his, he got a little choked up. But was able to finish his words before they exchanged their rings. They then were pronounced spouse and spouse. Then shared a deep kiss, and everyone cheered on the newly wedded couple. Sanji squeaked as he was scooped up. They pulled away from the kiss as Zoro smirked.
"Let's go eat."
Everyone met in the banquet room as Sanji and Zoro sat down at their head table. Loulee sat beside Sanji as everyone was dedicating toats to them. Usopp pulled everyone aside to get a special moment for the video.
Zoro sat in a chair outside holding a beer. Usopp held a small deck of cars as he looked up to Zoro. the camera rolling over his shoulder.
"So, how is your wedding so far?" Usopp asked.
"Good, I'd like to get back to it. So hurry this up."
"Well, is this everything you hoped for?"
"Well this was part C of my plan. Um. Part B was to have gotten back together sooner after high school. But then Loulee happened and, then the whole thing with her mother. But it turned out well in the end."
"What was plan A?"
Zoro glanced up to the camera before leaning forward holding his beer.
"To have married him when I first met him."
Special request to the person who finds my Easter Egg.
