Stupid Little Pick Up Lines
AN: here's a happy Sanji for those who need it
Zosan
Zoro looked at the crumpled piece of paper in his hand. He had Usopp help him make little pick up lines for a certain cook of the ship. See, Valentine's Day was just in a few days and Zoro had a plan. Each day before Valentine's Day he would tell Sanji a pick up line and leave. And the last day, Zoro would confess his love for the strange eyebrowed cook. So he set off opening the door and sat down. Sanji was wearing a sweet pink button up with a white tie tossed over his shoulder. Zoro cleared his throat having Sanji turn to him.
"Well, well, what does the shitty Swordsmen want from little ol me?" Sanji asked.
Zoro unfolded the paper, he read over the words before stuffing it in his pocket.
"Do-do you have a bandaid?" Zoro asked.
Sanji leaned against the counter, "No?"
"Cus I scraped my knee falling for you."
Zoro stood up and left. Sanji blushed and chuckled getting back and finishing up lunch. Day two rolled around and Zoro had four days left. He gulped walking into the kitchen. Sanji wore white and a dark pink tie.
"Hey cook." Zoro scoffed.
Sanji turned to him with a soft smile.
"You're eyes are bluer then the all blue, and I'm all lost at sea."
Zoro blushed walking off as Sanji giggled. He fell deeper each day Zoro came in and told him those stupid pick up lines. Zoro peeped into the kitchen window seeing Sanji smiling and blowing smoke hearts from his lips. Zoro smirked resting against the wall and folded his arms behind his head. The next day Zoro walked in at the same time and set a flower from Robins garden on the table written inside was a pick up line. Sanji turned to him walking out and frowned. But he noticed the Daffodil with a note written next to it. Sanji opened it and smiled to the scribbled handwriting of a six year old.
'You are so beautiful that you give the sun a reason to shine.'
Sanji smiled stuffing the note in his pocket and putting the flower in a vase. He finished up dinner. After dinner Sanji snuck out of the semi clean kitchen and out to the back of the ship. Zoro sat propped up against the wall scribbling away at some paper.
"Hey Marimo." Sanji chirped.
Zoro scrambled stuffing the paper in his pocket and threw the pencil over the ship. Sanji laughed at a frantic Zoro.
"Relax. I just wanted to tell you something." Sanji said.
Zoro cocked a brow at him. Sanji shrugged and sighed.
"It's not my fault I fell in love, your the one that tripped me." Sanji hummed.
He turned and walked away. One more day. The next morning Zoro walked into the kitchen with a bucket full of sea water. He set it on the table making Sanji turn to him.
"Come here." Zoro said.
Sanji walked up to Zoro and looked inside the bucket. Zoro poked himself in the eye having his eye tear up and drop into the bucket. Sanji was now confused.
"Follow me." Zoro said.
Zoro took the bucket and they went out to the deck. Zoro and Sanji leaned over the railing and looked at the blue splashing up against the thousand sunny. Zoro poured the bucket into the ocean.
"I put a tear drop in the ocean. When you find it is when I'll stop loving you." Zoro said.
He then walked off, Sanji stared off into the sea where Zoro's tear mixed with the salt water. Sanji hummed blowing out smoke in the form of hearts. As Valentine's Day awoke Sanji didn't get a stupid pick up line. And Zoro hasn't come up for breakfast or lunch. Sanji sighed, maybe Zoro fell out of love with him. Sanji sat at the table alone food he prepared for himself still warm sitting in front of him. He played with his fork rolling the fork under his fingertip. The door opened but Sanji didn't look up. He didn't care who it was.
"E-er, Cook do you have a minute?" Zoro asked.
Sanji turned to Zoro holding a bouquet of yellow roses and dressed sharp in a suit. His hair slicked back, he held a piece of paper in the other hand.
"Roses are red, white, pink, and yellow. You are my Prince, and I'll be your knight." Zoro said.
Sanji smiled resting against the back of the chair looking at the nervous Zoro. He gulped looking at the paper again.
"Roses are red, violets are blue, love hasn't crossed my mind until I met you."
Sanji hummed resting his head on his arms.
"Uh, Cook. I-"
"Roses are red, violets are blue." Sanji hummed getting up and approaching Zoro, "I'll never love someone the way I love you."
Zoro smirked as he set the flowers down and they embraced. Both smiling ear to ear.
"Why didn't you show up all day?" Sanji asked pulling back.
"I had to make the stupid poems." Zoro grunted.
Sanji smiled and kissed him, Zoro smiled kissing back. After a moment the two broke apart.
"I have another pick up line for you cook." Zoro hummed.
"Oh?" Sanji cocked a brow.
"I might be bad at directions but I could find my way between your legs."
