Hammock
A/N: Ace x Zoro was first. Next is Whitebeard x Shanks. Sorry It's short and not very creative. Any ideas for afterwards?
Zoro lied in his hammock, his fresh and wild green hair free in the wind and his chest bare for the summer breeze to cool him off. But. He wasn't alone. Zoro had a foot hanging off the hammock pressed against a chair. He pushed against it rocking him and the sleeping brunette haired man cuddled on his chest. For this was Ace. His face was sprinkled with freckles and eyes dark as chocolate. But. Zoro couldn't see them, they hid behind his sun kissed lids. He could see them flick behind them from time to time.
Zoro and Ace had met at a bar both drunk out of there minds from breakups and accidentally fucked. They had grown as friends, then as lovers afterward. And eventually moved in together. Well. It was official after today. They decided to take a break and put up a hammock Ace had bought some time ago. Once Zoro did they both climbed in and Ace was out like a light.
Zoro drew I love you's on Ace's back with feather like touches. Then traced the roger on his back. Something about a brotherhood with the firemen at his work. He hoped not to wake the other as his fingers drew up Ace's back and brushed through the dark locks. Zoro gave a breathless chuckle brushing Ace's hair away and kissing his forehead.
"I never thought I'd end up here." He muttered brushing through his hair.
Ace stirred cracking an eye open looking at the green haired man. A small smile was on Ace's lips as his arms wrapped around Zoro's neck. He tilted his head up slightly as Zoro kissed him softly. They pulled away as Ace rested back on Zoro's chest.
"Oh good morning sunshine." Zoro chuckled.
Ace hummed, "I love you too."
He shut his eye resting back on Zoro's chest. It was rare for them to exchange sweet words. They did love each other to death and all. But. As they finally do say 'I love you.' It kinda. Felt good.
Zoro hummed rocking the hammock back in forth humming a sweet song. Sure it wasn't a song Ace could understand since it was foreign and only Zoro could understand it. But. It still had a sweet tune to it and helped Ace fall back asleep. Zoro brushed through his dark locks again before restarting the song and resting back on the small pillow behind his head. He thought to himself looking up at the patio ceiling blocking the heated sun from there sunkissed skin.
"You know." Zoro hummed.
Ace hummed back, still drowsy.
"I think we should get married."
Ace snapped open his eyes and tuned to Zoro with a smile spread across his face.
