Chapter 29

They have been together for the second month now and Luna never felt happier in her life even though they only spend time with each other two week in a month. Leo still has to be in Boston to oversee his business there.

She could feel her love towards him getting stronger and stronger everyday but she doesn’t know what Leo’s true feelings towards her. He will always tell her that he wanted and needed her whenever he’s away but never said the words “love” to her. She didn’t let it bother her much because the way he acted and treated her shows that he cared. She will give him time to love her back and the day he admitted his love towards her will be the happiest day of her life.

She too never admitted her feeling towards him because she’s scared he might not ready to hear those words from her. She has to regain his full trust on her before she could say those words. She wanted him to trust her that she loves him and would never want to lose him ever again.

She smiled looking at her image in the mirror. She could see her face is glowing. Maybe because she’s happy that tonight Leo is coming back to New York. Luna likes to think that he’s coming home instead of just a visit. Hopefully he does feel the same way too.

Leo looked at his watch. In no time soon, his plane will landed in New York and he will be with his Luna soon. He’s happy that now whenever he’s arrived in New York someone will be waiting for him. Yes, his Luna will be waiting for him. God, how he missed her and can’t wait to be with her again. He’s happy that she had agreed to be with him.

He could feel that his feelings towards her grow stronger everyday. He missed her like crazy whenever they apart. He knew she felt the same. He could feel it by the way she treated and cared for him but somehow he’s still not ready to express his full feeling towards her, maybe because he afraid that she might hurt him again. She did that to him once and it might happen again. He remembered how he believed she loved him eight years ago but at the end it was just pretending. She hurt him badly. She’s betrayed him once and he’s not willing to let that happened again. Anyway, she never said she love him either and he doesn’t want to be the first person to say those words again but he admitted to himself that he’s been longing to hear those words from her.

Once the plane landed and opened its door, Leo immediately rushed out, eager to see Luna again. He spotted her almost immediately standing in crowd looking beautiful as ever in her simple skinny tight jeans and pink stripe shirt. She always looked beautiful to him especially when she blushed which she did almost every time they make love. Just by looking at her make his groin grew hard inside his pants and god, he can’t wait to have her in his arms again.

“Lu,” he called and waved at her. She looked towards his voice and when she saw him she immediately smiled and walked faster towards him, rushing to hug him.

Leo immediately crushed his lips on hers ignoring the crowds around them, “I missed you so much,” he whispered on her lips.

“I missed you too,” she blushed when he released her.

“So, have you been a good girl,” teased Leo when they walked to the car hand in hand.

“Of course,” she replied pretending to be hurt with his playful accusation.

“I know you will always behave and make daddy proud,” he joked.

Luna laughed with him, “How was your trip?” she asked as the get into the car, with Leo’s driver droved them to their destinations.

They have move in together into a new penthouse brought by Leo last month. Luna didn’t want to move at first but Leo insisted that she should stay in a better and nicer place with full security measures. The real reason Leo’s insisted of moving was that he could asked his trusted people to keep an eye on Luna. There are two reasons for that. One, because he worried about her safety and second because he doesn’t fully trust Luna. He still has doubt about her loyalty to him. He’s afraid that she might just pretend to be innocent in front of him where as when they apart she’s looked for someone else to entertained her.

“As usual, thinking of you all the way,” He said before kissing her again, “I wanted you so badly,” making Luna blushed again.

They didn’t waste time when they arrived at their place. Luna never hesitated to give her all to him whenever they together. She wanted to prove to him that she belongs to him and only him alone. She’s hoping by doing that she will gain his love and trust.

Luna wake up the next morning feeling nauseas and immediately pushed away Leo’s arm around her and dashed towards the bathroom, vomiting out whatever she had for dinner last night. She’s been having this morning sickness since the past weeks.

She still was still throwing up when she feels Leo hands rubbed her back tenderly, “What the matter?” he concernedly asked her.

“I don’t know,” Luna answered after feeling much better; “I’m not feeling very well lately,” trying to stand up at the same time.

He helped her and handled a glass of water to her, “Feeling better?” he asked and she nodded. He wiped her face with a wet towel before carrying her to bed.

“Is it something you eat?” he asked her worriedly looking at Luna paled face.

“I don’t know. Probably,” she nodded her head softly.

“Have you gone to see the doctor?” he asked her again and Luna shook her head too tired to respond.

He shook his head and took his phone, “I’ll call the doctor to come and check on you now,” he said and dialed the number.

“Well, there’s nothing to worry Mr. Hendricks, it just a morning sickness” said the doctor smiling at both Luna and Leo. “Congratulations, your girlfriend is pregnant,” he told them. Luna covered to mouth in shocked.

“What?” said Leo in surprised.

“Yes,” the doctor nodded, “She’s about five weeks pregnant.”

Leo cast a shocking looked at Luna who also seems to be in surprised with the news, “Well, Mr. Hendricks, I’ll write the medicine to stop her from vomiting and some vitamins for her. See that she has enough rest and not to overwork herself,” smiled the doctor while writing the prescriptions on the paper before handling it Leo and excused himself.

Leo just stood there for a while and staring at the prescriptions in his hand. He’s too shock with the news. Should he be happy but is the baby his? Possible, he said to himself. He has been with Luna all this while but who was she with before with him? Who was she with the one month when they not together and the time before that? He recalled she’s told him that she was with someone that night when he called her again. Was the baby belongs to that guy?

“Leo,” Luna voice wakes him up from his thoughts.

He looked at her who was looking at him with concerned, “Abort it,” he said to her softly.

“What?” Luna asked him unable to believed what she just hear.

“Abort it!” he said to her with an angry voice, “I don’t want that bastard!” pointing at her stomach.

“No!!” Luna cried, “This baby is ours. You want me to kill it?”

“That’s bastard not mine. It could be belong to someone else. You been sleeping around with others before this and this bastard might be his,” he accused her.

“No!!” sobbed Luna, “There’s no one but you. I’ve never been with anyone but you. This baby is yours. I can proved it if you want.”

“You don’t have to prove anything,” Leo said to her, “I don’t want this baby. You have to choose, me or that bastard.”

“Stop calling him that!!!” she yelled at him, “I’m not going to kill my baby. No matter what happened I’m keeping it!!” she stressed. “And you can go to hell!!” and got up from the bed walked towards the closet taking out her suitcase and dumped all the clothes in.

Leo was surprised with Luna action. No, he said to himself, she’s choosing something else over him again. No, he’s not going to lose her again but at the same time he didn’t want that baby. He went over to her, grabbed her suitcase and throws it away.

“No!!” he yelled at her, “I’m not going to let you leave me!!”

“If you don’t want me to leave, you have to accept this baby. It’s yours Leo, I swear it is,” cried Luna looking at him directed into his eyes with pleading eyes while tears running down her eyes.

Leo looked away and shook his head, “Never!!” he stressed. Luna looked at him crying, feeling sad and disappointed with him, disappointed that even after all this while, he still doubted her.

“If that the case,” she said sobbing, “I have to no choice but to leave you. I can’t live with a man who don’t trust and believe me,” and she walked out of their room.

Leo rushed towards her at the staircase and pulled her arm, stopping her from leaving him, “Luna, you can’t go!! I won’t let you!!”

Luna tried to pull her hands from him but she pulled hard making her slipped and stumbled down the steps. Leo watched in horror while Luna body rolled down and stopped at the bottom of it.

“Luna!!!!” he cried and rushed towards her while she’s moaning painfully, “Lu,” he panicky call her name, “Baby,” he held her tenderly.

“Someone calls an ambulance!!” he yelled at his staff. Luna was in pool of bloods and Leo held her tightly, “Baby please hang on, please,” he sobbed as her watch Luna face turned pale, “Please baby please don’t leave me. I love you,” he whispered but Luna was already unconscious to hear his words.
