Chapter 21

Leo was chairing his company meeting and one of his staff was explaining the detail on the slides but his mind wasn’t there. It actually has drifted towards Luna. He hasn’t stopped thinking about her since last night after meeting her again.

Leo couldn’t understand why he wanted to follow her to her apartment last night. Maybe he was actually curious to see how her place looks like. It is really a surprise for someone like her to stay in a place that simple. Her “Sugar Daddy” would definitely want a luxurious place for his girl, isn’t it? Well maybe it just a cover up so that no one would suspect or maybe they wanted their affair to remain a secret and have they time together somewhere else. Yeah, he nodded his head it must be just a cover up.

She really covers it up well, he thought. She didn’t even expose who the person she’s having an affair with. Maybe the guy wasn’t invited to Andrew’s party last night. Maybe both Andrew and Nikita didn’t even know she’s having such affair. She acted innocent in front of them and they must have believed she’s innocent but they don’t really know what a bitch she really is. He was blinded and stupid once with her innocence but not anymore. Reality had taught him that people like her could not be trusted.

He wondered how much they paid her to get her to sleep with them. Damn!! He scolded himself. Just thinking of her being intimate with someone else has made something inside him boiled up. Felling jealous, angry and all feelings mixed inside him. He feels like punching the guys whoever had been with her. Why does he felt angry, he asked himself again? It’s her life. It’s up to her how she leads her life.

“Mr. Hendricks?” his staff called him waking him up his thoughts. Everyone was looking weirdly at him. They must have been noticed that he been drifting off and not concentrating on what was presented.

He cleared his throat and looked at the screen and the paper in front of him pretending that he actually thinking about what had been presented. “I think you all have done a good job here,” he praised them and clapped his hands followed by the rest who seems happy with his comments. With that he adjourned his meeting.

Sitting alone in his office room his mind wondered about Luna again. Damn, he cursed, why he can’t stop thinking about her? She still have effect on him and just by thinking about her had made his heart pounding so hard and increased his needs to have her. Damn, he wanted her, really wanted her. He wanted to know how she was like in bed. Does she still act innocent as she normally was? Was she blushing all the way through? Well maybe one night with her will make him stopped thinking about her, he thought. Maybe that’s what he needs to do, end his curiosity about her. He’s sure he’s able to pay her price.

He called up Andrew asking for Luna’s number and without hesitation his friend gave it to him. Smirking Leo dialed her number and after a few rings, she finally answered her call.

“Hello,” her voice was breathless as if she’s was running to pick up the phone. Maybe she’s expecting someone special to call her, Leo thought, but wow, her voice was sexy when she’s out of breath he noted.

“Hi, it’s me Leo,” he told her, and there’s a silence on the other side. “Did I call you at the wrong time?”

Luna was actually panicked when she heard Leo’s voice again. How did he know her number and why is he calling? She asked herself.

Taking a deep breath and calming herself down she’s answered, “Oh, hi Leo,” she shuttered, “No, I just finished my shooting,” she explained. “We’re packing up to go home.”

“Hmm, that’s great. Is that means you are free now?” he asked.

“Well,” she hesitated at first, “Yeah,” she slowly replied, “Why?”

“Andrew is busy with his family and I thought that since I’m here until the weekend, we could catch up with each other. You know I’m actually curious to know what you are doing right now, what business are you in etc, etc,” Leo told her.

Luna bites her lips, didn’t know whether she should agree or not. Should she get herself involved with him again?

“Please,” plead Leo one the other side, “We’re going out as a friend.”

He sounds sincere, she said to herself. She should not hesitate after all it’s not him who done her wrong, it was she. So she should at least be nice to him and treat him well as a friend. She felt like she owes him one. She hasn’t stopped forgiving herself for what she had done to him. Maybe in time, she will be able explain to him what actually happened 8 years ago and why she did it.

“Ok,” Luna finally responded to him, “Where do you want to meet me and when?” she asked.

“Where are you right now?” he asked.

“I’m at the Westin Hotel at the moment,” Luna said, “As I said we’re packing up and leaving soon.”

“Well I see you there then,” suggested Leo. “I stay at Westin and my office just nearby. We could have dinner there.”

“Hmm, sure,” she nodded her head in agreement. “I’ll wait for you at the lobby.”

“Great, I see you then,” smiled Leo hanging up his phone.

They have dinner that night and so does every other night. Luna finally felt comfortable being around Leo again as he had treated her like a long lost friend. They talked about their business and work but none of them talked about the past. Luna told him that she and Nikita owned a boutique and most of designs are from Terry’s. She’s only doing modeling as a part time job. While Leo told her that he now lives in Boston since he’s talking over from his grandfather business over there. He will come over to New York once a month to oversee the business here. Today was his last day before leaving for Boston and they decided to have dinner at his suite room instead.

“Thank you for making my stay a wonderful one,” Leo smiled at Luna raising his glass to hers.

“You’re welcome,” she clicked her glass with him smiling back sweetly at him.

Leo sipped his wine but he didn’t take his eyes off her. Realizing that Leo was staring at her, she blushed and immediately turned away. Trying to calm herself, she starts another conversation, “When will you be coming here again?” she asked but looking at her glass wine.

With a smile still on his face, Leo replied, “Next month, most probably middle of the month,” he got up from his seat and sat besides Luna before continued, “I love to see you again, when I came back next month.”

Luna nervously smiled at him as he puts his hand up on the sofa moving closer to her. She suddenly froze unable to move away from him. Leo took her glass away from her shaking hand and put both their glasses on the table. Luna just looked down at her hands while her heart started to beat wildly again.

He tilted her chin making her look at him, moving his head closer to hers. Their lips were inches away, ““I really love to see you again,” he repeated.

Luna knew what’s coming but she couldn’t move just froze drowning herself into his amazing blue eyes. Leo moved nearer and without hesitation crushed his lips on hers. He’s been longing to taste it again ever since he saw her again during that commercial. Luna returned his kiss with the same longing feeling. They both let out a soft moan as their tongues exploring each others. Leo slowly pushed Luna down to the sofa while his hands tugging her shirt off her pants. His hands slide inside her shirts touching her breast through her soft lace bra.

Luna gasped and tore her lips from Leo’s, “Leo, please, no,” she pleaded at the same time pulled his hand away.

“I want you Lu,” he admitted with his eyes were full of passion, “I know you want me too Lu. Don’t deny it,” he said to her softly.

Luna blushed didn’t know what to say. Leo took the advantage and started to kissed her neck while his hands unbuttoning the button on her shirt one by one. Luna didn’t stop him when he started nibbling the top of her expose breast, first the right one and then the other while his hands replaced where his lips had left. Touching and massaging it softly through her bra. She moaned at the pleasure feelings of his touch.

He was right, she does want him too and she won’t be able to deny it any longer. She let him taste, touch and do anything he wanted with her. She’s not going to stop him. She felt him unclasped her bra exposing her breast fully for his view. She gasped again when he took one of her breast into his mouth sucking and tasting it. She moaned again, running her hands through his hair holding his head as if indicating him not to stop. She felt like she had died and gone to heaven feeling it for the first time. She was still feeling dizzy when they suddenly heard his phone ringing.

Leo grunted and tried to pull away to answer it but Luna stopped him by wrapping her arms around him, “Let it be,” she pleaded softly.

“I’m sorry, I have to answer it. I’m actually waiting for an urgent business call,” he regrettably told her. “But don’t go away,” he said kissing he on the lips. Luna smiled, letting him go to answer his call.  

But when she heard him say, “Alright I’ll be there immediately,” Luna sighed and got up, putting back on her clothes.

She was buttoning her last button, when Leo turned around towards her, “I’m sorry,” he apologized sighing at the same time, “I have to leave immediately, there’s some problem at our office in San Francisco. I have to be there tonight,” he explained to her.

Luna shook her head, “Its ok,” Luna said to him and combing her messy hair with her fingers. “I understand. I better leave now so that you could get ready,” trying her best to hide her disappointed face.

She walked pass him to get her handbag but Leo stopped her by grabbing her wrist, “I truly am sorry,” Leo apologized again, “I promised I’ll make up to you when I come here again,” he said to her wrapping his arm around hers pulling her closer. “Make sure you’ll be there for me.”

Luna smiled, “I’m not going anywhere,” she said softly to him, “I’ll be here waiting for you to come back.”

Leo smiled back at her and kissed her softly on the lips, “Make sure you do and make sure you behave yourself around other men too,” he warned.

Luna chuckled thinking he was joking and teasing her, “Hmm, that’s very hard to do,” she joked.

“Luna,” Leo scoffed at her, “I’m serious. I don’t want you to be with other men while I’m gone,” he told her seriously.

“Don’t worry, there won’t be other men,” she seriously told him, “I’m all yours if you want me.”

“Good,” he said to her still in serious tone, “I’ll call you when I reach San Francisco and make sure you alone when I do.”

“Aye, aye sir,” Luna playfully salute him and when Leo glared at her sighed, ‘Yes, I promised.”
