Chapter 15

Leo came home whistling happily after coming home from meeting Luna that night. He went straight upstairs towards his room but he’s mother greeted him half way.

“Hey honey, just came back?” she asked smiling sweetly at him.

“Yeah,” Leo briefly replied and made his way to his room.

“Leo honey, I have something to tell you,” she stopped him.

“What mother?” he sighed, “I’m tired. I want to go to sleep,” he told her, trying to avoid her. He got a feeling he knew what she’s going to tell him, most definitely about Lindsay.

“Well, Lindsay told me that she seldom sees you nowadays. So I have made an arrangement for you to go on a date with her tomorrow night,” she told him in a sweet voice as if trying to make him agreed with her suggestion.

Leo rolled his eyes, “Mother,” he heaved loudly, “I didn’t see her because I don’t like her. Why do you want me to date somebody I don’t like?” he stressed.

“I thought you like her?” she act surprised, “Well, you dated her once when you attended the opening of Mira’s boutique? Remember?” she reminded him.

Shit, Leo cursed in his head. He totally forgotten about that day, the day he pretended to be with Lindsay, “Well,” he stumbled with his words, “That was before, after that I realized I still don’t like her. That’s why I left early with Andrew,” he lied.

“Oh really?!!” his mother said didn’t believed a word he was saying, “Since when you know how to lie? Lindsay told me why you were there that day. You’ve told her you were dating one of the models!” she pointed out, “You even going to introduced to her.”

“Yes. I was dating one of the models that day,” he admitted, “I didn’t want to tell you the truth because I know you not going to agree.”

“You got that right young man,” she said angrily, “I would never allowed my son to date those models especially the one name LUNA,” she stressed.

“What wrong with her?” he asked angrily.

His mother sniggered, “You know what wrong with her!! She’s our maid daughter.”

“Oh, I forgot,” he mocked, “She’s not our standard!!”

She folded her arms in front of her glaring angrily at him, “Don’t tell me she’s the model you’re dating that day?”

Leo heaved angrily. He’s so pissed off with her attitude. He nearly busts out the truth about him and Luna just to piss his mother but he remembered Luna sad face when she told him that her family will be in trouble if his mother ever found out.

“No, she’s not the one,” he lied. “She’s not my type.”

His mother smiled satisfactorily, “That good to know.”

Leo heaved heavily again, feeling fed-up, disappointed and angry at the same time with his mother’s attitude toward Luna. Best thing to do right now is to remained seeing Luna secretly. That’s the only way for them to continued meeting each other. He definitely didn’t want his mother to find out about them and stopped him from seeing her. He doesn’t think he could ever live with that. Being with Luna is the best things that ever happen to him and he didn’t want to lose it. If meeting in secret is the only way right now, then he will endure it and hopefully Luna will endure it with him even though it might takes forever.

“It there’s nothing else mother, I would like to go to my room, I’m tired,” he said to her.

“What about tomorrow night? What should I tell Lindsay? Please go out with her again just for once?” she begged.

“No!” he sternly said to her, “Please don’t force me to do something I don’t want to do.” with that he leaves her and made his way to his room.

Once in the room he dialed Luna’s number. He needed to hear her voice again after what just transpired between him and his mother. Only Luna’s voice could made him feels calm and happy.

After the third rings, her heard her answered, “Hey, what’s up?” he could hear her concerned voice.

“Hey,” he smiled, “Nothing. I just wanted to hear you voice before going to bed,” he told her.

She chuckled at the other end, “Missed me, huh?”

“Yeah,” he chuckled with her, “So much,’ he told her seductively, “Do you miss me too?”

“No,” she joked and he could hear her laughed.

“Lucky you are not with me,” he scoffed, “If not, you’re going to get from me. Well, you’ll definitely will get it from me tomorrow,” he threaten.

“I thought you can’t see me tomorrow?” she said softly.

“Says who?” he asked.

“Well, you suppose to have a dinner date with Lindsay, right?” she questioned. He could hear a resentfully in her voice.

“I’ve told my mother I’m not going,” he told her.

“Oh?” Luna sound surprised, “And she didn’t force you?”

“You know my mother too well huh?” Leo sniggered, “Good thing she didn’t. Why? Do you want me to go?” he teased.

“It’s all up to you,” Luna said softly. He could still hear the jealously in her voice.

“Well, I don’t want to go. The only person I want to go with, is you,” he told her firmly.

Luna smiled at the phone, happy with Leo’s answered, “Me too,” she told him shyly.

“I can’t wait for this weekend,” Leo said to her, “Has your mother know?”

“Yes, Niki has told her,” she said, “But she didn’t know we’re going to Andrew’s beach house,” Luna added sadly. Sad that they have to keep everything a secret from everyone expect Nikita and Andrew.

“Yeah, it’s best that she didn’t know,” he responded in agreement.

“Does your mother know?” she asked him.

“No,” he simply replied, “I haven't told her yet.”

“That’s good to know,” Luna chuckled, “Who knows at the end, we all managed to go without you because mommy didn't allow you to go,” she teased.

“Ha, ha, very funny,” Leo faked a laugh, “I definitely will be there before you know it, girl,” he confidently told her. Luna laughed at Leo admission. He is always so confident with himself and that’s what made her love him.

Love him? The words made her realized her true feeling towards him and its gives her Goosebumps. Yes, she loves him, truly and hopelessly in love with him. She never says those words to him and he never told her he did but the way he acted towards her says it all. He’s already declared just now that she’s his girlfriend. She’s sure that he felt the same towards her and in time, they might reveal their true feelings towards each other. Maybe this weekend would be the right time for them to admit their feelings towards each other. 

This weekend, she smiled at that thought. She couldn’t wait for this weekend too. She’s couldn’t wait to spend the whole two days with him. This weekend she’s going to tell him how she felt towards him and hopefully, he too will admit the true feeling he had towards her.

They continued to talk and tease each other for a couple more hours before saying goodnight to each other. Leo smiled to himself after shutting down the phone. Talking to Luna has managed to make him fall into a pleasant sleep because he will definitely dream of her. She had been appearing in his sleep ever since the first day he laid his eyes on her and now the dream has become more pleasant and sweet. In his dream he has confessed his love for her and they would make full passionate love. Yeah, he normally will have to have cold shower after that!

This weekend, he smiled to himself. This weekend he will show his love towards her. He will admit his love to her and hopefully, she too will admit her feeling towards him AND hopefully after this weekend they would become inseparable.
