Alex died a few weeks after she sent the letter to Ivan.  Jake was distraught and heartbroken for he lost not only his wife and the love of his life but he also lost his friend and the person who always saw good in him.
Alice and Edward moved out of the "happy home" and returned the property back to the orphanage. They got engaged and are soon to be married. Bella, Carlisle and their year old daughter Alexa live with Jake in Berlin.  Well, Jake is still single but he's not single because he doesn't have the time for another person in his life but because he honors his wife's memories and he doesn't want to replace her with any other woman.
Sam and Ivan still live in Toronto like one happy family. They all spend the vacations together with Jake in Berlin. 
As far as Alexandra's fortune is considered it was distributed among the members of the family and some of it was donated to charities that she favored. 

After 18 years
Its Alexa's 18th birthday. Everyone is gathered around a big round table with Alexa's favorite chocolate cake that her father himself bakes for her every birthday. Her mother is standing beside her uncle Jake and he has a wrapped book in his hand. As soon as the cake is cut,  Alexa is curious to know what's inside the wrapper.
Just then Jake came over to her, kissed her cheek, wished her many happy returns of the day and gives her the gift. But he tells her to open the gift when she's alone and to keep it safe.
When Alexa was alone in her room after the party, she opened the gift. It was a handwritten diary her uncle Jake had written himself.  The diary had this written on its first page:
" To my dear Alexa,
Happy birthday to you.
Every year I give you something that you want. But today I'm giving you something that I've been waiting to give you since the day you were born. It's very special to me. Please keep it safe and away from the eyes of people.
This diary is not just a diary. These words are not just ordinary words.  These are emotions which I've felt in my heart and I've noted each one of the events of my life as well as my dear Alexandra.
I hope you'll cherish it and keep it safe like I have all these years.
