' I'll get ready?' Jimin smiled seeing the shocked look on Yoongi

' Yeah..yeah Ofcourse...' Yoongi awkwardly stood in the middle of the living room as Jimin left...

' Is it just me or are you also seeing this Hoba?' Namjoon snickered as he walked in

' I think we are imagining things since the image of a certain cute couple cuddling kept me awake the whole night' Hobi said smirking

' Fuck you' Yoongi spat.. leaving the other two to laugh

' You love strawberries?? You and Tae have almost same taste' Jimin smiled seeing Yoongi licking his ice 'He also loves to eat ice cream in winter'

' Who doesn't love that???And if it's mint choco..its heaven' Yoongi said dreamily

' You like mint choco?' Jimin turned towards him..both of them were on their way back home from the park with Jimin having a hot coffee and Yoongi an ice cream

' Yep'

' How do you even eat that?'

' Why?' Yoongi saw the way the younger got all defensive..

' Because it tastes like mint...frozen mint' Jimin reasoned out..his eyes wide and lips pouting

' It's called mint choco for a reason' Yoongi snickered

Jimin blinked once before he caught a hold of himself dumb me 'But mint and chocolate..it feels like you are adding mouth freshener in chocolate syrup'

' Yaa..if you don't like it don't eat...but don't say such things about my mint choco ice cream' Yoongi eyed him...' Atleast it's better than that raspberry tea that you drink all day...it taste like cough syrup and sugar'

' Oh yeah??? My tea taste like cough syrup? So what does your mint choco taste like? Honey?' Jimin deadpanned

' I can't even understand why you are getting this worked up' Yoongi frowned... ' It's me who will be having that ice cream...Am not stuffing your mouth with that! Also my mintchoco tastes way better than your cough syrup' Yoongi bit back a smile seeing the younger's eyes widening

' Yaa Min Yoongi!' Jimin stomped his feet on the snow 'Stop calling it a cough syrup! And if you are soo keen on having it why spend extra money..just go freeze your tooth paste and eat!' Jimin huffed before completely turning towards him 'And even if its you who is eating I had to taste that stupid thing that day when you kissed me!! Don't tell me you forgot about having a whole ass hot chocolate along with mint choco ice cream? How are you even alive after having that? Scratch that! What do you mean you won't stuff my mouth with it?? I swear to god Yoongi if you ever kiss me after eating that thing in future am gonna burry you in some toothpaste facto-' Jimin stilled when he realized what he just said

He looked at Yoongi who had a wide smirk and a mischievous glint in his eyes...

' Why did you stop? Complete it come on' Yoongi tilted his head..the smirk still lingering his lips as he stepped closer...his heart going crazy seeing this side of Jimin...

' N-no...I..was..' Jimin stuttered badly as he looked down..' Am sorry'

' Hey' Yoongi raised the other's head as he held his chin ' Don't ever say sorry for being the real you'

Jimin sucked in a breath when he heard that 'What?'

' No one is gonna judge you for being the real you Rose... I know that behind the mask you wear of a silent.. soft being lies the real you..who is full of life and love...who is loud enough to wake up a whole neighborhood...or better say.. louder than Hobi' Yoongi's lips quirked up in a smile seeing the younger giggle ' Your past is something am curious off.. but I'll wait till you trust me to share it with me... But no matter what it is..there is no need of you to hold back anymore...be the real you Jimin ah...we are a family now...and no one will ever raise a judging eyes towards you.. I promise you that'

Jimin blinked off his tears as he smiled widely.. nodding his head... ' Thanks hyung'
Jimin's heart skipped a beat when he saw the way Yoongi was staring at him...his breathing heaved when he saw the elder leaning close..his eyes closing on its own when the warm breath hit his lips...but his whole being exploded when a soft pair of lips landed on his cheeks...

' You are too precious my Rose...more precious than this fucked up world' Yoongi smiled standing straight as Jimin opened his glossy eyes ' It's getting dark.. Jin hyung will kill us if we won't get back before dinner... Let's go home'

Home Jimin smiled unknowingly at that...as they started walking again..side by side... He chuckled seeing the conflicted look on Yoongi's face..his eyes trailing down to the elders gloved hand which was hesitating to hold him...

A red hue spread over Yoongi's cheek when he felt a hand slip into his own... interlacing the finger...He bit his lips.. suppressing his grin as the tightened his grip around the small hands of his Rose as they walked hand in hand

Yoongi and Jimin grew more and more close as each day passed by..which was not something hidden from the others.. especially Jungkook who was not that keen about this

Everytime Yoongi took Jimin out for a date.. Jungkook's smile would be replaced by a deep frown... Jin had noticed this a thousand time by now..but he choose not to do something on impulse...as his mind wandered off to his brother who was having a hard time because of his morning sickness and mood swings...

Yoongi was evidently whipped for Jimin who still hadn't confessed yet.. but his actions were enough for everyone to know how he feels...

But as days passed by Yoongi's insecurities grew...Namjoon and Hobi did assure him that Jimin might not have voiced it out yet but the boy did have feelings for him.. Yet Yoongi found it difficult to believe them as three weeks had already passed and Jimin hadn't opened up to him yet... Even though Jimin was not shy nor quiet around him.. instead he was more lively...the fact that Jimin will leave with Tae and Kook after Christmas..which is in two days..scared him to the core...

Currently Yoongi and Jimin were coming down after their small date on the rooftop when Jimin suddenly spoke up

' Yoonie' Jimin called softly as Yoongi closed the rooftop door ' Why do you love me?'

Yoongi just smiled as he looked at him..' My appa was very abusive..he would return home only to beat my eomma... Everytime he comes back eomma will send me to the rose field behind our house...the scent of the roses and the calmness of the night used to keep me warm even in the coldest of nights... I used to go there whenever I feel scared.. insecure.. and when I grew up I understood that..home doesn't necessarily have to be the four walls and roof that shield us from rain or sun... instead home could be anyplace that can make you feel safe.. warm... protected '

' Hyung' Jimin called..not knowing why he was saying all these

' The first time I saw you...you smelled like roses...it reminded me of the field..which..at some point had become my home..' Yoongi smiled 'When I kissed you it reminded me of the warmth I had felt those nights..but when I saw you again...after a year..and spent time with you it made me feel at home... ' Yoongi saw the way the younger was frozen ' Jimin ah...you became that home for me.. which I would never dare leave'

Jimin smiled softly as he interwined their fingers and came down the stairs and saw Jungkook and Haya playing near the fireplace..

Yoongi's heart filled with happiness seeing the way Jungkook loved his daughter...but his smile dropped when he saw the blank look that took over Jungkook's face the instant he saw them both... But what broke Yoongi was the way Jimin left his hand after seeing Jungkook...

Yoongi tried to hold his hand again but Jimin took a step away from him...his head hanging low as Jungkook glared at them

' Jimin..take Haya in' Jungkook spoke up..his voice cold

' Hyu-'

' Take her in Jimin' Jungkook closed his eyes...

Jimin took hold of Haya as they walked in.. without even sparing Yoongi a single glance..

' Koo-'

' What's happening?' Jungkook asked walking closer

' What do you mean?' Yoongi tried to remain calm

' What's going on between you and Jimin?'

' Isn't that obvious?' Yoongi asked

' What if it isn't?' Jungkook challenged

' I love him... ' Yoongi confessed

' I can't let him get hurt because of you!' Jungkook said ' So stop whatever you are trying to do'

' And who are you to tell me that?' Yoongi was seething ' I don't remember asking your say in this'

' I do have a say in this because it's something that relates to Jimin'

' Why do you always gets so worked up when it comes to Jimin' Yoongi folded his hands over his chest

' I don't think its necessary to give you any explanation...am gonna sleep..and stay away from him' Jungkook turned on his heels leaving an angry and equally hurt Yoongi behind

' What is even wrong with him' Yoongi groaned as he sat up in his bed...  No way he could sleep after seeing his Jungkook behaving like that with him...

' I'll just go talk to him' Yoongi mumbled to himself getting up only to stop in his tracks again..No Tae would be sleeping... I don't want to worry him in this condition...

Yoongi sighed when something struck him.. and he walked out

He saw the door to Jimin's room being slightly opened He is still awake?

Yoongi shrugged off his thoughts as he walked closer raising his hand to open the door when he heard that

What is Kook doing here at this time?

Yoongi brushed off the building up thoughts in his mind and decided to go back but his mind didn't allow him to do so...and he stayed there and peeked in through the slightly closed door only to have his heart drop

' You know I love you Chim...and I do care for you a lot' Jungkook said cupping Jimin's cheeks

' I know hyung....and You also know how much you mean to me' Jimin smiled softly

' I know' Jungkook smiled as he pecked the younger's forehead.. breaking Yoongi's heart into a million pieces

Yoongi scurried back to him room..his head filling with the image he just saw as his mind shut down leaving his heart to suffer alone... He lied down on his bed...not even knowing what he was feeling...as a single question kept him awake

What are you doing Jimin?

' You ok?' Jin asked when he saw Yoongi coming down the stairs

' Yeah' Yoongi nodded..

' Didn't you sleep hyung?' Taehyung voiced out seeing the bags under the elder's eyes

' I did...its just work' Yoongi shrugged

' Yoongs... Joon and Hobi left early and asked you to come to the studio as soon as you wake up' Jin said as he placed a plate of pancakes and pickles in front of Taehyung who happily munched on it making Yoongi internally cringe..but didn't say anything as he had once got a piece of Taehyung's mind when he commented on his cravings while pregnant with Haya

' You want some hyung?' Taehyung chirped up

' No am fine' Yoongi smiled genuinely seeing the adorable boy...

' Have your breakfast' Jin called out from the kitchen

' No am leaving..not hungry' Yoongi replied ' Tae where is Kook?'

' Oh..he went out with Jimin to buy something for the tree decorations...Its Christmas tomorrow right..so they wanted to do the decorations today'

Yoongi stared for seconds before nodding as he took his leave...

' You think Jimin is good for our Yoongles?' Hobi asked as he went through some recordings

' He seems like a good guy and even Jin liked him... You know how hard its to pass his vibe check..so yeah' Namjoon said as he sat down beside Hobi ' Why do you ask Hoba?'

' Nothing Joon... it's just I don't want hyung to end up getting hurt'

' Hurt?'

' Look...Even I do like Jimin..he is a good kid... But we can't let the fact slide that our Tae was in pain because of him' Hobi sighed

' Hoba...but Taehyung did tell you that it was some misunderstanding' Namjoon reasoned out

' I..just can't let the fact slide that he was the reason for Taehyung and Jungkook almost getting divorced' Hobi frowned ' I still remember the way Tae came home crying with Haya in his arms that night telling us that Kook was having an affair with his neighbor and now knowing the fact that it was Jimin with whom Koo-'

' It was Jimin?'

Both Namjoon and Hobi froze when they heard the deep voice of Yoongi...

' Hyung' Hobi started as he stood up facing the elder ' It's not what-'

' It was because of Jimin that my Taehyungie came crying home that day?' Yoongi's eyes held betrayal..his voice quivering with anger ' And you all didn't even bother telling me?'

' Its a misunder-' Namjoon was cut of harshly by Yoongi

' Shut up..' Yoongi yelled..his mind rushing back to the previous night..the image of Jungkook and Jimin filled his head ' He was cheating me'

' Hyung' Hobi called but before he could continue Yoongi dashed out of the studio

' You fucked up long time Hoba' Namjoon rubbed his forehead ' Let's head back quick..or else it will be a disaster'
