With Christmas eve and the day of the party getting ever closer Hunter and the others had begun cleaning the house in every place visible wanting the house to look it's best for the party.

After the cleaning was done they got to work actually decorating the place.
Wrecker and Cobalt had gotten started on hanging the lights on the outside of the house with Tech supervising. At the moment the two were swordfighting with two of the candy cane decorations, Tech attempted to scold them but this only resulted in them ganging up on him.

Meanwhile Martha and Katie were setting up the indoor decorations and the kids were helping Hunter and Trix set up the tree in the living room.

"Uncle Hunter, where should I put these?" Daniel asked holding up three golden directions.
Hunter recognised them as the light up present decorations Cobalt and Martha typically put on their living room window.
"You sure you want to put these here?" Hunter asked him.
Daniel nodded.
"Well we usually put these on at home but I thought since we're staying here for Christmas why not put them up here." Daniel said.

Hunter nodded and helped Daniel set up the presents.
"Looking good." Hunter smiled.
"Hunter, where's Crosshair?" Omega asked not seeing him.
"Oh he'll be back in a minute, he always insists on getting all the food for dinner, but I think he does it so he can get out of putting up the decorations." Hunter said rolling his eyes fondly.

Sure enough the decorations and tree were up by the time Crosshair returned with the food.
He was in the middle of putting the food in the fridge when Omega came bounding in holding something in her hands.
"Hi Crosshair." She said bubbly as ever.
"Hey." He said simply, not looking up from his task.

"We got the Christmas tree all done." Omega said.
"Nice." Crosshair said as he wrestled a large ham into the fridge.
"All except the star and I wanted to ask, could you help me?" She asked.

Crosshair sighed and closed the fridge before getting up.
"Alright then." He said leading her into the living room.
He lifted her up and with a little help from him she put the star on the tree.

Omega kissed him on the cheek as he put her down.
"Thanks Crosshair." She said before running other to play with the other kids.
She didn't see him smile as she went.
"You're welcome." He said before going back into the kitchen.
