With plans for the Christmas party underway Hunter decided to treat the kids to a day looking at the Christmas Market.
The others all dropped the kids off with him and after a couple of quick bathroom trips they began walking down to the metro station, from there they'd take the metro into the town Square where the market was located.

Hunter looked to check on the kids, Sarah (who was holding his hand) held onto James' hand, the two talking about what they were going to get from the market, Boba and Joey were in a debate about something Hunter wasn't sure of and Daniel was explaining to Omega the metro system with Omega paying apt attention, Cynthia watching the pair of them to make sure they didn't wander off.

"Did you know these metros have been in development for the last couple of years but only just entered service last week...they were built to be even faster than the last ones...did you know the last ones were in service for forty years before being withdrawn..." Daniel rambled, Omega giggling fondly as he rambled.

Joey chuckled.
"She's gonna be an expert on trains in no time." He laughed.
Hunter chuckled.
"She's gonna be telling me all this later." He said grinning.

They got to the station and Hunter bought the tickets for the metro.
They waited patiently for it to arrive and once it did they got on.
They all found seats and sat down.

After about half an hour the metro stopped at the station they needed and got off.
They walked through the station and went up the stairs, emerging into the market.

Omega looked around in awe taking in the festive atmosphere of the market and Hunter smiled when he saw the look on her face.
"Like what you see Mega?" Hunter asked.
"it's amazing." Omega nodded.
Hunter smiled and led the kids into the market.

The kids were all in awe at the numerous stalls currently taking up the town square the smells of the different foods as well as things from some of the other stalls filled their nostrils.
"Wow Hunter, this is so cool." Omega said.

"Yeah, 99 took me and the guys here when we were younger, so I want to carry on that tradition with you guys, Cmon let's have a look around." Hunter smiled before leading the kids into the market.
The kids had all been given some money by their parents to buy something from the market, they bought a few Christmas themed items and Omega also got Hunter a black and red santa hat which he was never taking off.

They were just getting ready to head back when a delicious smell caught Hunter's nostrils.
He looked and saw a stall selling some delicious crumbles, the options were apple, cherry, rhubarb, and a mince pie crumble which Hunter was fascinated by.
The kids looked at each other confused as to why Hunter has stopped.

"Uncle Hunter, what is it?" James asked.
"How would you kids feel about getting some crumbles, my treat." Hunter said.
The kids all cheered and practically dragged Hunter over to the stall.

The woman looked up and smiled warmly as Hunter and the gaggle of kids approached.
"Hello sir, what can I do for you?" She asked.
"We're thinking about getting some crumbles, could you tell the kids the flavours please?" Hunter asked.

The lady looked at the kids who smiled at her.
"Well the flavours are apple, cherry, Rhubarb and mince pie, and they either come with custard or ice cream whichever you'd like." The lady (Hunter read her name tag and saw it was Lavender) said smiling warmly at the kids.

The kids were all in thought for a moment before placing their orders.
Joey and James both chose Apple crumble, Joey got ice cream with his and James got custard, Sarah and Boba both got cherry crumbles with custard and Hunter, Cynthia, Omega and Daniel picked mince pie crumbles, Cynthia got ice cream with hers while the others got custard.
After thanking and paying Lavender (and Hunter also exchanging phone numbers with her) the group began heading back to the metro station eating their crumbles as they walked.

Hunter took a bite of his crumble and was amazed at how good it was, the fruits and the custard went splendidly together creating an amazing flavour that tasted amazing to his taste buds.
"What do you kids think?" Hunter asked looking back and seeing the kids tucking into theirs.
"So good, I can't believe someone can make something this nice." Omega said wiping some custard off her chin.
Hunter chuckled and kept eating.

By the time they got off the metro and were walking home the kids were exhausted.
Boba (who had been giving Daniel a piggy back ride since they got the crumble) was supporting a fast asleep Daniel on his shoulders, Sarah and James very much like Daniel had also fallen asleep on the metro home, Sarah was resting on Hunter's shoulders using his head as a pillow meanwhile Cynthia carried James who still had some traces of apple and custard on his chin, Joey and Omega walked slightly sluggishly behind him yawning occasionally as they walked.

Hunter smiled as he drank in the domestic scene, memories of when he and the others along with 99 and occasionally Rex and Cody went to the market and came home similarly tired but feeling merry all the same.

No Hunter would never give up these family moments for anything.
