Thirteen: Yoshiki Saves The Day!
Yoshiki's P.O.V.
I sat down on my chair and started doing some homework. Yeah, I know, shocking, right? A delinquent like me doing homework.. I wanna impress Shinozaki, okay?
My mind was filled with nothing but Ayumi herself. I am madly inlove with her. She's all I think about. She's the girl that I need. I love her. I really do.
As I was writing down, I heard a muffled scream from outside. I stopped and put my pen down, and stood up and opened my window.
"What the hell..?" I looked around, and shrugged. But before I could even close the window, I stopped in my tracks as I heard a familiar voice.
"Kishinuma!" That voice.. It belonged to..
"Shinozaki?" I looked around again, and closed the window and went outside. I brought my jacket with me to keep me warm.
Again, the muffled scream got louder and upon hearing it, panic came rushing down my veins.
"Shinozaki!" I started running to where the voice was.
"Don't worry! I'm coming! Hang on, Shinozaki!"
Third Person P.O.V.
Ayumi started cowering and whimpering as the three disgusting strangers blocked her, preventing her from escaping.
Ayumi kept crying and crying, and was hoping that Yoshiki would save her.
Please.. Kishinuma.. Save me..
The three men kept laughing and started creeping towards her, and bent down. "Now listen here, school girl~ You better follow us or we'll-"
"HEY!"
The three men, gasped and turned their heads to where the voice was. Standing in front of them, was a blonde male, breathing heavily, clenching his fists, making his knuckles white. It was Yoshiki. He was furious at them, and gritted his teeth.
Shinozaki smiled and tears of joy came rushing down her cheeks. "Kishinuma-kun.." She mumbled.
"Who the hell are you?" Asked one of the men.
"Does it matter?" Yoshiki scoffed and kept glaring at them. The three of them just shrugged and looked at Shinozaki again.
"Touch her and YOU'RE DEAD." Yoshiki growled, narrowing his eyes at the three men. The men just laughed and ignored him, and with that, Yoshiki snapped.
Yoshiki was now super pissed, and with a flash, Yoshiki punched one of them right in their face. He fell to the ground with a loud thud. The other two gasped and charged towards the blonde male. Yoshiki smirked and did the same.
Punching, kicking, screaming.. This was the sight that Ayumi is seeing. She gaped at Yoshiki. She was glad that he came to save her.
My savior.. She thought to herself.
The other two fell to the ground, with a bloody face, and a bunch of bruises on their arms. Yoshiki had successfully defeated them. However, Yoshiki had bruises as well. Ayumi came to a realization and stood up and went to Yoshiki.
"Kishinuma! Are you okay?!" She asked, worry and concern etched on her face.
"A little." Yoshiki sheepishly smiled.
Ayumi looked at the blonde male and said something out of the blue. "Y-You were amazing.." She complimented. Yoshiki chuckled and gave her a toothy grin. "Thanks. It was a good thing that I joined a gang last year." Said Yoshiki.
"A gang?!" She gasped in horror, but Yoshiki just chuckled. "Don't worry, I am not in a gang anymore." He smiled once more. Ayumi sighed and held his hand. "Come with me."
--Few Minutes Later--
Ayumi dragged Yoshiki along the way to mend his bruises. It was the only thing she could give to Yoshiki as thanks for saving her.
Yoshiki was happy and a bit nervous, since Ayumi's sister was helping Ayumi, too.
"I-I'm really sorry for disturbing, Hinoe-san." He said, feeling embarrassed. Hinoe smiled and shook her head. "Don't be sorry. Thanks to you, my sister is safe."
Yoshiki nodded and allowed them to mend his bruises.
"All fixed!" Hinoe cheered in delight, and Ayumi smiled, glancing at Yoshiki.
"Uhmm, Onee-chan.. May I ask something?" She said, clutching her skirt while looking down at her lap.
"Sure. What is it, Ayumi?" Her sister replied.
"Can Kishinuma stay for tonight? I am a little worried.." She mumbled at the last word, making Hinoe smile.
"Sure. Is it okay for you, Kishinuma?" She turned her head towards Yoshiki. Yoshiki gaped and was thinking wether he should stay or not.
"Please, Kishinuma. I beg of you.." Ayumi pleaded, and looked at Yoshiki straight in the eye. Yoshiki stared at her beautiful eyes and sighed. He nodded and smiled at the bluenette.
"Okay. I'll stay tonight." Ayumi's smile went wide and hugged Yoshiki like there was no tomorrow.
Hinoe's heart melted, well not literally, but you know what I mean. There was just something about them, something that will later bloom when the time comes.
Hinoe stood and cleared her throat, grabbing Ayumi and Yoshiki's attention. "Now, I'll head upstairs first. I'll let you two sort things out. Good night." She smiled once more at the two of them and went upstairs.
Ayumi and Yoshiki were the only ones left in the living room. The awkwardness was starting to grow, and Yoshiki spoke to prevent it from happening. "Uhmm.. I-I'll sleep on the couch.." He suggested, about to get up when suddenly Ayumi grabbed his arm in a flash.
"Nope. You're not sleeping on the couch." She quickly stood up and dragged Yoshiki upstairs.
Where was she taking him? Yoshiki didn't know.
Finally, Ayumi stopped at a door and opened it. Yoshiki had finally realized.
Ayumi took him to her bedroom.
Panic, nervousness, mixed reactions were now swirling in his head.
Ayumi looked at Yoshiki and smiled warmly. "You are sleeping here in my bedroom."
Yoshiki thought to himself, I guess I'm sleeping on the floor, not that I am complaining, though..
"O-Okay, so I guess I'm sleeping on the floor.." Yoshiki spoke, feeling embarrassed.
Ayumi giggled and shook her head. "No, silly. You are sleeping on the bed with me."
Yoshiki locked his eyes with Ayumi's. She's not joking is she?
Ayumi looked away, averting his gaze, and suddenly fear can be seen in her eyes.
"I'm just.. I'm afraid. After what happened a while ago, I kept thinking that maybe they'll come after me.. Please, Kishinuma.. Just for tonight.." Ayumi begged, tears about to fall.
Seeing the fear in Ayumi's eyes, he felt worried and agreed to sleep beside her.
"Okay. I'll sleep on the bed." Yoshiki flashed her a genuine smile, and Ayumi's cheeks were tinted with pink blushes.
Ayumi went to her bathroom to change into her pajamas. Yoshiki was on her bed, crossing his arms and closing his eyes. After Ayumi had finished dressing, she went on the bed and tucked in her blanket. Yoshiki noticed this and did the same.
After they exchanged good nights, Ayumi turned off the lamp and closed her eyes, now trying to sleep. But, she couldn't. She felt unsafe, even with Kishinuma beside her.
She forced her eyes shut to try and sleep, but she really can't. Then, an idea strucked her.
She faced Kishinuma, whose back was facing her, and was sleeping peacefully. She nudged Yoshiki, and Yoshiki turned to look at Ayumi.
"Are you okay, Shinozaki?" He asked worringly. "I can't sleep." She replied, covering her cheeks so that he won't see her blushing face. "What am I suppose to do? Sing you a lullaby?" Yoshiki asked, and chuckled lightly. Ayumi rolled her eyes and said, "I-I want a hug."
Yoshiki's eyes widen, and was silent, thinking of how to answer her.
"Please.. Its the only way for me to sleep.. Please Kishinuma.." Yoshiki's heart beat was beating rapidly, and his love for Ayumi grew even more.
"Alright, alright. Come here." Yoshiki scooted close to her, and hugged her gently. He brushed Ayumi's hair and gave it a light kiss. "Close your eyes now."
Ayumi, who was blushing madly, hugged Yoshiki back. She now felt safe and at the same time, felt comfortable.
She waited for Yoshiki to sleep. As she heard his light snores, she looked up, studying Yoshiki's face.
Ayumi's feelings were now jumbled, while looking at the undeniably handsome blonde male. Did she like Kishinuma? Or was it because he only saved her?
But her feelings were already jumbled before the incident happened. Like that time when Yoshiki nursed her. She was now having mixed feelings. She was now asking to herself if she really liked Mochida or not. Mochida may be kind, but Yoshiki was different.
Yoshiki cared for Ayumi a lot more than Mochida. She really didn't know why she liked Mochida.
She smiled and lightly giggled, looking at Kishinuma's sleeping face.
She was now sleepy, and she decided to answer her questions for tomorrow.
Before she closed her eyes, she leaned in close and gave Yoshiki a light kiss on his lips.
"Thank you.. Yoshiki.." Ayumi felt extremely happy calling him on his first name, and snuggled onto his chest, and drifted to sleep.
Meanwhile, Hinoe was watching silently, smiling from ear to ear, and closed the door gently.
She giggled lightly, and mumbled..
"The love between them is about to bloom soon."

GUYYYYYSSSSSSS! WHAT YEAR IS IT? ITS BEEN SO LONG SINCE I'VE UPDATED. I'M SO SORRY. I LOVE YOU ALL.
Because I am now a very busy person, with tons of homeworks and projects to do, I forgot to update this book of mine.
I really do hope that you still enjoyed reading this and that you didn't give up and kept waiting for the update.
Also, I hope you like the cover! Its actually pretty good, considering that my editing skills are only level one.
Haha! Enough with the talk, I hope you enjoyed! Leaving a vote is always appreciated! Let me know if there are any misspelled words or grammatical errors, etc.
I'll see you on the next chapter~!
A BIT OF UPDATE:
I was editing something and it turned out great! Here's the picture that I edited. ↓
I really love it! This is actually a book cover for my other Ayushiki fanfiction, though I am not sure what kind of plot its going to be. It's still an AU, because I don't like the original plot because some characters die, let's be honest here, I really felt bad when Seiko, Mayu, Sakutaro, and Ms. Yui died in heavenly host elementary school.
Anyhoo, leave a comment about the cover I made and wether or not I should make another Ayushiki Fanfiction!
Bye again~! ♥
