(The Rise of King: Turn 5) News
"We got an order for some curry at table 11!" I said.
"Got it," Charles, the owner and head chef of the restaurant said, "Oh, and the order for table 5 five is ready."
I walked up to the finished dishes, two adobo servings with rice on each plate. I walked over to table five and handed them their orders.
"I hope you enjoy your meal!" I said before walking off.
I went back into the kitchen and checked the time. 10:46. I went back to Charles to tell him I was leaving for the night.
"Alrighty Avery, I hope to see you tomorrow!"
I walked out and got on my motorcycle. It had a streamlined design, with a black body and silver highlights. I put on my helmet before driving onto the streets, which weren't all too crowded. On my way home I took in LAs scenery. I've never been here before up until last week, but now I'm living here.
Once I arrived home, I changed out of my work uniform and into a pair of grey sweats and a black long sleeve shirt. I slumped into my bed and dozed off.

A light brown haired girl stood halfway out of her Panzer IV Ausf H as she looked over the field. A knocked out Tiger (p), an M3 Lee, a Type 1 Chi nu, and their newly acquired Mark IV Heavy were seen.
"Miporin!" An orange haired girl stuck her head out of the Panzer IV's side door, speaking to 'Miporin', "Seems that Ant Eater team has gotten better!" The girl said.
'Miporin' nodded in agreement, "Mmhm!" She turned back to the field. Moments later the M3 Lee was knocked out by the Mark IV Heavy.
"Looks like Ant Eater team and Shark team have won today!" A black haired girl said.
"Saori, tell everyone to gather near the courtyard." 'Miporin' said.
"Yes ma'am!" The orange haired girl said.
*Timeskip*
All of Ooarai's Senshado Team was standing in front of 'Miporin' in formation.
"Okay everyone! That's enough training for today!" 'Miporin' said, "I'll see you all tomorrow!"
Everyone then bowed and spoke at the same time, "Thank you!" As they finished up the day, Miho was called to the Student Council Room.
"I wonder why they're calling you?" The black haired girl said.
Miho shrugged, "I don't know, Hana."
Miho then made her way to the Student Council Room, opening the door to see Ami Chouno, Ooarai's Senshado Instructor.
"Ah!" Miho said, surprised by Chouno's presence, "I didn't know you were going to be here Ms. Chouno!" Miho then bowed.
Ms. Chouno only giggled before telling Miho to not be so formal.
Miho then sat down to face the three Student Council Members. Anzu Kodatani, with her red pig tails and short stature, was the President. Yuzu Koyama, with her brown hair done up in a pony tail, was the Vice President, and Momo Kawashima, with her short black hair and monocle, was the PR Manager.
"Why did you call me, Anzu?" Miho asked.
"We have some news about the upcoming tournament." Anzu answered before chewing on her favourite dried potatoes.
"Yes," Ms. Chouno said, "This year is going to be a little different."
Miho was curious as to what was going to be changed. There hasn't been any real change for a decade.
"What's going to happen?"
Ms. Chouno brought out a tablet and handed it over to Miho.
"Are you familiar with the North American Tankery League?" Ms. Chouno asked.
Miho nodded, "Mmhm, they're like the JSF, but their rules are a little different." She said, as she scrolled through the tablet, which had information about the NATL.
"With the main difference being that they allow boys to participate." Ms. Chouno added.
Yuzu spoke up, "The NATL has given the JSF an invitation to join them in their 56th Annual Tournament."
Miho was shocked. Never had she ever thought that she'd go up against NATL schools. From what she heard from fans of the NATL, some of the schools can go toe to toe with Pravda, or even Kuromorimine!
"The Zuikaku is to arrive in Los Angeles by the 15th, which is the date that the matches are made." Momo stated.
"This is some big news!" Miho said.
"Mmhm!" Anzu said, "Tell everyone else tomorrow for practice, okay?"
Miho nodded, "Is that all?"
"Yes." Ms. Chouno said.
"Okay, Thank you." Miho bowed and walked out.
Miho went over what was going to happen. She was going to have to lead Ooarai's forces against schools that they have absolutely no experience fighting.
"I wonder how the other schools are reacting?"

"These American Schools will bow down before the great Katyusha!" A short blonde girl exclaimed. She cackled loudly, with the sound seemingly running through the whole school.
"Yest' li u nas kakiye-libo svedeniya ob ikh shkolakh? (Do we have any intelligence on any of their schools?)" A brown haired girl asked.
"Net, no poka my govorim, Svyataya Gloriana rabotayet nad etim. (No, but we have St. Gloriana working on that as we speak.)" A blonde girl said.
"Klara! Nonna! What did I say about speaking Russian!"

"Assam, did you get anything?" A blonde girl asked. She had her hair done in two French Braids which were made to curl around her lower head.
"Unfortunately, nothing so far." Another blonde said. This girl's name was Assam.
"Well, you know what they say," The French Braided blonde said, "Good things come to those who wait."
As she finished, she took a sip of her tea.
Assam sighed out of annoyance.

"Boys?!?!" A short haired girl with pig tails shouted.
"Alisa, not so loud." A tall, short haired girl told her.
"But- but- Boys!" Alisa said.
"Alisa, that cannot be what you're thinking about right now." A blonde said.
"Boys!"

"It seems the wind has led us down a different path this time." A brown haired girl wearing an odd hat said. She struck her kantele while looking up at the sky.
"What?" A shorter girl asked.
The brown haired girl only struck her kantele again, essentially ignoring the other girl.

"It seems that they've gotten better." John stated.
"Yes, it seems so." I said back, "but as of now they're only shooting static targets, or moving targets. Not targets that fire back."
"Yeah, but you have to admit, the newbies do show potential." David said.
"Yeah, but we should still see what they're capable of in an actual match." said Kevin.
"We should have a practice match." George suggested.
I nodded in agreement, "Yes, which is why I've had Principal Kylie schedule a practice match against Lannes High."
The four looked at me, somewhat shocked.
"Lannes?" George said, "Their commander makes great use of 'Defeat in Detail' Tactics."
"Yes, which is why opponents with superior numbers have fallen victim to them time and time again." I stated, "But, their strength quickly becomes their weakness if we don't split up our forces."
Kevin then chimes into the conversation, "Sorry, but what exactly is 'Defeat in Detail'?"
"'Defeat in Detail' is a tactic used against enemies with superior numbers." I explained, "Most of the time, the enemy will split up their forces, confident in their numbers. However, the opposing army that has few numbers keeps the majority of their forces together, and they attack a single enemy detachment, outnumbering them and causing them to rout."
Kevin looked a little confused but eventually got the gist, "So as long as we stick together, we tale away their Go-Too Tactic."
I nodded.
The tournament was going to be here in less than two weeks. We need to be prepared. I need to find out something, and winning the tournament is what's going to allow me to do so.
"Now then..."
