Bad rushed over to Sapnap, kneeling down besides him and trying to blow the fire out, having no affect at all, while Dream continued to stand their, shocked. Meanwhile, Sap continued to scream as the fire burned on.
For four seconds.
George looked at his friend as the fire started to shrink, until the flames were gone and Sapnap's shirt just appeared burnt and blackened, but still intact. Sap had stopped shrieking, tears still streaming down his face. He had a large scare across his should where George had hit him, the wound raw and bloody. Bad was just hugging Sapnap, trying to calm him down from the shock he had just received. Dream had finally gotten to his senses, and stormed over to George, which probably wasn't the best idea, considering what had just happened to Sapnap. He stopped right in front of George, the other was just staring at him.
"How could you do that to Nick, your friend." Dream said in a cold voice, his expression furious.
"Friend? I don't think you three are allowed to call me that, Dream. You and Sapnap have recently just started to argue with me in every call for absolutely no reason! At least nothing big. It's absolutely frustrating and annoying, and it's ridiculous how I'm always the one to apologize for some god damn reason. And BadBoyHalo has blatantly been ignoring me for two months. I don't even know why I continued to contact you guys!" The Brit's voice had started to crack, his voice wavering with emotion as he felt a lump in his throat. George stopped and cleared his throat, before continuing with a more bitter tone than before. "So tell me why you deserve to be called my friend, Dream. Tell me whatever excuse you have for yourself. And please, please, do tell me the reason for all the nit-picking."
Dream stared at him with an open mouth, trying to make out words. All the rage had been drained from him, leaving only confusion, guilt, and hurt behind. Because he didn't have an excuse or reason. Not a good one, at least. He had just been so stressed with everything, the sudden drama, the rise in viewers, everything. And George had always been the one to help him get through everything, but for some reason, he had gone to Sapnap this one time. Sapnap had no experience in this, so all that happened was Dream's stress getting moved onto the younger. So when they had their first argument with George, they had just both felt so relieved to have won something, to finally have had something under control in their lives, that they hadn't realized what they were doing to George. That was the only reason, but it wasn't an excuse for what they had put George through.
"I-I... well, us just arguing with you doesn't give you much of an excuse to just suddenly take control of the world or something." Dream muttered, trying to shift some of the guilt.
George just stared at him blankly for a few moments. Sapnap and Bad were in the background, guilt heavy in their hearts as well. The Brit stayed silent until he turned around to look out at the vast ocean of lava.
"My dad died a few weeks ago."
Everyone was silent, until Bad finally spoke up in a small voice. "What?"
"I said, my dad died. The only person who supported me ever since I came out as pansexual to my parents. I was heartbroken, and really just needed someone to be on my side, to tell me that everything was okay. So I messaged you three, not anyone else. Because I thought you guys were my closest friends. Was I wrong? Apparently so." George's voice cracked, and he could feel tears starting to form. He quickly blinked them away, not wanting to cry in front of them.
"George, I'm so sorry, I didn't know." Bad replied, his voice full of guilt and regret.
"That doesn't matter. You should be there for me no matter what."
Sapnap, Bad, and Dream were all silent, just now realizing how big of a mistake that they had made. The lava popping seemed to be the only sound in the whole world, everything else still. They stayed quiet for only a few minutes, though the time had felt like hours. Tension filled the air as George turned around to look at the others.
"Do you have anything else to say?"
Sapnap stood up. He felt exhausted, tired, and just done with this. "Yeah, I do. Fuck you, George. Do you think that you're the only one with problems? Stop being so selfish."
Bad gasped loudly, while Dream whipped around and signaled at Sapnap to shut up, while quickly glancing at George to see his reaction. The coder stared at him, then started laughing, the laugh sounding more strained and unhinged.
"Y'know what, Sapnap? Fuck you, too, you absolute bitch!" George exclaimed as he through a splash potion of poison at Sapnap.
Sapnap gasped as the potion started to take affect, the hearts being visible as the poison did it's job. The poison felt like an itching burn, irritating and a bit painful, but bearable. "Poison doesn't kill you. Besides, we can respawn anyways" He stated hesitantly, staring at the hearts.
"Poison doesn't, but I do. Did I forget to mention? This is hardcore." George smiled as he started to walked towards Sapnap with a sword. "Don't worry! After I kill you, Bad and Dream'll join you soon enough."
Bad and Dream's eyes widened, alarm filling their minds. They were defenseless against George, and couldn't do anything to help Sapnap. As George neared Sapnap, Bad quickly jumped in front of him.
"Wait! Please no! He'll be better! We all will! Please!" Bad pleaded as George rolled his eyes.
"Yeah! Give us another chance, George! I swear we'll all be better. And won't it get lonely, doing stuff by yourself? Sure, there are other people, but they'll probably just fear you and stuff." Dream added in hesitantly.
"I have other friends." George muttered to himself. He thought it over in his mind though; they weren't wrong, it would be nice to still have them around. He hesitated, before getting a book and quill. He quickly wrote in it, then held it out to Dream. "Fine. Okay. Just sign this, and you'll get another chance. But, once you sign it, there's no turning back."
Dream took it and read what was inside, he seemed shocked and hesitant, but wrote his name in anyways, then passed it to Bad. Bad quickly wrote his name down, skimming through the Terms and Conditions, then passing it to Sapnap, who just wrote his name without reading. I mean, the man was on half a heart, cut him some slack.
After Sapnap handed the book back to George, George signed the book and smiled. He /heal-ed Sapnap and built a portal back to the over world. He looked at the others.
"Shall we?"
