Hey guys, I know its been a hot minute since I published anything on here, and while its not one of my current stories, this is something that I have been working on for a couple of weeks, its the only thing that I have been able to write continuously in I don't know how long. Right now my google docs is a mess of Half written chapters for multiple of my stories, and scenes that I wrote down whenever I would get an idea during this massive depressive episode but this universe has brought back some of my creative spark and I haven't been this excited about something I've wrote since way back towards the end of last year probably around October. Anyways..

I've recently become obsessed with a show that one of my best friends recommended. Its called The Way Home, its a hallmark show that streams on peacock and it is so.. so good. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it. It has time travel, romance, grief, teenage angst, teenage romance and all of the hallmark drama and warm fuzzy feels.

With this new story I bring two new OC's Holland "Holly" Oates [and yes, that name was an intentional play on Hall and Oates. XD) and her teenage daughter Hazel, who has high functioning Autism, the description I put with the book pretty much explains exactly what the story is about.

The face claim for Holly is Natalie Dormer and the face claim for Hazel is Ryan Whitney Newman.

I've decided that the chapters of this story are going to be shorter. but shorter chapters means MORE chapters and more frequent updates. I'm going to start making future chapters of my current books shorter as well, so when I have material to write for those I don't have to stress out that the chapter is not long enough. I'm no longer going to be ruled by the word count feature on docs. LOL No more 20k word chapters. I think in the long run this is going to help me get back to a regular updating schedule and I wont feel so overwhelmed.

Anyways, Im really excited to be writing and publishing anything at the moment because this is the first time I have felt like myself in almost 4 months and I just hope you guys aren't disappointed that the first update in forever isn't something you might have been waiting for, but something new.

Please don't think that my other works are going to be ignored. I HAVE been writing for those too I just don't have anything ready to publish at this moment. I am hoping that I'll be able to get something out for those soon, but as my brain is still healing and going through trials of meds to find something that works, I cannot promise a set date for those. 

For Fans of the show: This is my first attempt at a fanfiction for this show. I'm a newbie to writing these characters, and Im at the very beginning of season 3 so I am NOT caught up. While this story is going to follow kind of closely to the story of the show, it IS fanfiction, and if you've read my fanfiction before anything is fair game, I change up things all the time. If you haven't read my fanfiction before, Welcome to the chaos. XD
