Hey!
I'm sorry for the chapter being like a week late, but school just started, so I've been twice as busy...

"CUT!"
The director yelled and came up to Sicheng and Donghyuck before patting both of their backs. "Good job, good job once again! I knew I did the right thing casting you two!" he said happily.
Sicheng flashed the director a smile and muttered a thank you.
"Okay, anyways, take 30. After that we just have to film the last scene of the movie and we're done!"
As the director walked away, Sicheng also excused himself to get his makeup fixed.
"That was some pretty good acting!" Renjun joked around as he walked up to Donghyuck from where he was waiting for his turn to film.
"Don't flatter me so much, Huang, we all know you're better" Donghyuck chuckled.
"Yeah right, whatever. You're good and that's it." Renjun stated.
There was a long awkward pause. But as soon as Donghyuck had come up with an excuse to leave the situation, Renjun spoke up.
"Can I talk to you?... In private?" He seemed hesitant when asking, almost scared of Donghyuck's answer.
"Sure, I don't see why not"
The two males walked a little from the stage, set-up, and crews, to have a little more privacy and silence.
"I'm just gonna talk, and I hope that you can hear me through before responding or giving any sort of verbal or violent reaction." Renjun started.
Donghyuck nodded to show that he was listening and to signal for Renjun to continue.
"Okay, oh shit, I didn't plan out what I was gonna say...Okay, you might know this, you might not, but I-I've liked you for a while now. My crush started way before we even started working together on this filming project."
Donghyuck hadn't known, but now that Renjun had mentioned it...it made sense. All the lingering touches and looks.
"Um, and when you started dating Mark, well I was jealous and suspicious. I mean, I hadn't ever even seen you be around Mark or even talk about his group before. And not to mention, I'm also a celebrity so I know all about how fake-relationships are actual things that happen for publicity. I was hoping that your relationship with Mark was all pretend. I so desperately wanted a chance to be with you."
Renjun seemed nervous as he shifted from one foot to the other.
"But, you know, I started seeing how you and Mark actually cared for each other and that you guys truly loved each other."
Renjun seemed to now gain back his confidence as he looked Donghyuck in the eyes.
"And I didn't want to take that away from you."
Although Renjun had asked for Donghyuck to not say anything, he just had to. "So why did you tell me this?"
"I wanted you to know. And I wanted you to know that I fully support your relationship, no matter who they are with."
As Donghyuck and Rnjun stared at each other in silence, an unknown weight lifted from both of their shoulders, and they visibly relaxed. There was no more awkwardness.
They shared secret smiles, telling each other it was okay.
"Donghyuck! Renjun!," a director's assistant and a makeup artist came running up to the two males, "Have you seen Sicheng and the Director? We have to get the Director's approval for the script and touch up Sicheng's makeup"
Donghyuck turned to the newcomers, "That's weird...Sicheng told me he was going to get his makeup fixed about fifteen minutes ago..."
The director's assistant and makeup artist looked alarmed. "Do you have any idea where they could be?"
Renjun and Donghyuck both answered, "Don't worry. We'll start looking for them right now!"
"Okay, thank you! We'll go tell the rest of the staff" and the two people walked away.
Donghyuck and Renjun turned to each other.
"Where do you think we should start looking?" asked Donghyuck with a hand motion gesturing towards the rest of the film set.
Renjun pondered for a moment before answering, "I think the smartest would be to start in Sicheng's dressing room and then move out from there. What do you think?"
" I think so, too. Let's do that then."
The two males began walking towards Sicheng's dressing room, but before they even made it off the filing set, someone had come up running before them.
"Hey, guys!" the said male greeted as he swung his arms around Donghyuck's and Renjun's shoulders.
Donghyuck let out a little scream -a manly scream- asRenjun turned around to see who the unknown person was.
"Sicheng! You scared us! Why?"
"Sorry...I saw the opportunity and took it!" Sicheng shrugged not bothered by Renjun's accusation.
"Hyung! Where were you?" asked Donghyuck, "Your hair's all messy, and your lips are swollen, and yo--oh my gosh! Is that a hickey!?! On your neck?!?!"
Renjun's eyes widened, "Holy Shit, where?!"
Just as Sicheng began to look sheepish, there was a shout from the other side of the filming set.
"Director, you're back! We need your advice and input on this scene before we film!"
Renjun and Donghyuck both gasped at seeing their director. The said male's hair was just as messy as Sicheng's and his lips were just as, if not more, swollen than Sicheng's.
"Oh... my... gosh..."
"You and the Director?!"
At this Sicheng shrugged, his lips stretching into a smug smile, "Why do you think Donghyuck's sex scene got switched from being with me to being with Renjun?"
"Okay, but like... you and the Director?!" Donghyuck and Renjun were still very surprised because no-one saw this coming.
Sicheng looked over at the film director that was talking with the film writer across the room, "I'm not saying that I'm a sucker for red-haired Japanese men with braided man-buns,... but that's exactly what I'm saying."
"Wow! Nobody, and I mean nobody saw this coming, Hyung. How l-"
"Sicheng! Donghyuck! Renjun! Were gonna start filming in about 3 minutes." one of the assistant directors yelled, "If you haven't had your makeup fixed yet, please go do that now! Thank you!"
"Okay! Thank you!"

Donghyuck sat in the car. He was on his way back home from filming.
Just as he was about to close his eyes for a short nap, however, his phone rang, the ringtone indicating it to be his mother.
"Hello?"
"Donghyuck."
"How may I help you, Mrs. Lee?" Donghyuck was already annoyed.
"You and Mark should break up. I have everything planned: your excuse, estimated money gains, estimated extra pub-"
Donghyuck saw red, "Excuse me?! What did you just say? You should rethink your next words carefully, Mrs. Lee."
There was a long exhale heard from the phone, "I said...you and Mark are gonna break up. This fake relationship thing has gone on for long enough for you to have gotten enough money out of it. N-"
"Mrs. Lee, you have no right whatsoever to say that. I could possibly understand if you were giving me motherly advice, but you are clearly only thinking of fame and monetary gain right now." Donghyuck's voice was firm and dangerously low as he spoke to his mother.
"Donghyu-"
"No! Mark and I are in an actual relationship, and if you would have paid attention, you would have seen that we have been for the past 6 months."
"What?!"
"Mrs. Lee, I love Mark and why can't you support me?" Donghyuck's tone had turned from one of seriousness to sadness. "You haven't been my mother for years now..."
"Donghyuck, I was doing this for us--for you! Wh-"
"For me?!" Donghyuck was mad and exasperated, "You only take up any jobs or advertisements or projects if you gain something from it!"
Donghyuck's mother tried to make excuses, but to no avail, "That's no tru-"
"How dare you? How fucking dare you?! I have been nothing but pacient...waiting for the day my mother acted like my mother. You were never there when I needed you so desperately."
Donghyuck was sobbing now. "I asked God every night, 'Why doesn't she love me? What did I do?' I struggle daily to battle the demons you left me with. I fight the anguished pain to overcome the past torments."
"Donghyuck, please, listen! I can-"
Donghyuck had had enough.
He had finally seen his mother for what she was and how she would never be the mother he needed. He decided that now was the time to stand up for himself and set boundaries.
He finally acknowledged the truth, and it hurt like hell.
"I quit. You no longer are my manager."
"Honey, ple-"
"If you can't even act or pretend to be my mom, don't expect me to be your son either. Goodbye, mother."
And he hung up as the tears poured down his cheeks.
