We Don't Get Along!!

Gray's POV:

I pulled away and stared down at Natsu's bewildered face. His cheeks were as red as his flames, and his green eyes opened wide. Why the fuck did I just do that?!?! I thought, not taking my eyes off the pink-haired mage, I actually just did that, right? I just kissed Natsu!

I didn't wait for him to say anything else after that -- how would anybody respond to something that bizarre? I stood up spun on my heels. I left frantically, trying to make my walk look natural.

The Next Day At The Guild

Natsu's POV:

I sighed and choked back another glass of sake. It was either my fourth or fifth glass. "A-another pleazhe..." I slurred my words as I attempted to order another.

"Natsu, I think you've had enough..." Lucy gently placed her hand on my shoulder, "You should take a break; maybe have some water instead."

"Eeh? I don't like water. Can't I have more sake?"

"Natsu, are you even old enough to drink?" Lucy asked as she crossed her arms. I shrugged in response.

I sat back in the barstool. Maybe I had, had a bit too much to drink.

"Oh, Gray is here," Lucy observed and I jumped up as quickly as I could.

"Gray, you're here thank *hic!* thank goodness..." I got up and walked over to him, "I-I had fun yeshterday..." I patted his shoulder and leaned against him -- I think I would fall otherwise...

"Natsu... listen, I'm sorry about yesterday, I don't know what I was thinking," Gray all of a sudden started apologizing, "I'll never do it again..."

"Oh, i-it'sh fine.." I could feel my legs getting wobbly. Shit... I'm actually drunk, aren't I?

"Natsu, you don't look too well," Gray said sounding concerned, "You should lie down."

Gray's POV:

I tried to apologize to Natsu, and of course, he's completely hammered. Oh well, I thought, It's not my fault he's drunk. I said I'm sorry, that's all that counts. Still, I felt bad about what I did.

"Come on," I grabbed onto Natsu's wrist and gently guided him to a seat, "I've never seen you drunk before, *sigh* I guess that's my fault, huh." I looked around, trying to spot a little blue cat to help me out. Finally, I spot him. "Hey, Happy," I called out, catching the exeed's attention, "Take Natsu home; he's wasted."

"Natsu's drunk?!" Happy looked shocked, "O-okay.. I'll make sure he gets home right away..." Under my command, the little cat activated his Aera magic and lifted Natsu into the air. The fire mage resisted at first, but he soon gave up and let Happy carry him out. I watched them leave and sighed.

"Hm? You two sure are getting on well today," suddenly, Lucy popped up next to me. I flinched away from her, a bit surprised by the celestial mage's appearance. Lucy grinned. "I guess you're friends now?"

"N-no!" I retorted immediately, "He and I are not friends!"

"You look like it."

"We don't get along!!"

"Yeah, right," Lucy giggled, "I think you two would be great friends, I don't know why you've never given it a try."

"Well..." I started...
