~OVA~ THE FIRST DATE
Natsu's POV:
"A-a date?" I gasped, nearly spilling my drink, "You want to take me on a date?"
"Yeah..." Gray said as he looked to the side nervously, "That is... if you want to."
"Oh, uh, y-yeah -- I'd love to," I smiled as I graciously accepted Gray's invitation. Although I was absolutely pleased that Gray was asking me, I couldn't help but wonder where this was coming from. After all, it didn't seem like Gray to go out on dates.

Where This Came From:
Gray's POV:
"A date? I have to take him on a date?" I asked cluelessly.
"Of course you do," Lucy scolded angrily, "You two are dating after all... Couples go on dates -- it's just what they do. If you want to be a good boyfriend, you have to take him out. And be romantic!"

Who knows, maybe this is just a romantic side of Gray I've never seen before.. I looked up at Gray who was still standing next to me awkwardly; blushing and shifting his weight unnaturally. I felt like I needed to say something to end his mental torture.
"So, what did you have in mind?" I asked as casually as I could.
"Uh... it's a surprise?" Gray said unsurely, "I'll pick you up tomorrow... at... seven. Is that alright?"
"Hehe, yeah that's fine," I found myself giggling at Gray's flustered appearance. It was quite endearing.
"So, tomorrow?"
"Tomorrow."

~~~~Tomorrow~~~~
Gray's POV:
I stepped into the freezing cold shower and lathered myself in soap. I needed to make sure I was presentable for my date tonight. I stayed in the shower for at least twenty minutes before stepping out and drying myself off. Wrapped in a towel, I walked over to my closet to get a change of clothes -- Wait... what am I supposed to wear?! I suddenly realized that I had no idea what I'm supposed to do or how I'm supposed to act on a date. Lucy was the one who set this whole thing up -- what am I supposed to say?
Finally, I gave up on choosing something special and just threw on my normal clothes. I didn't tell Natsu to wear anything special after all. I'm sure it'd be fine no matter what I wore.
Natsu's POV:
I got up super early to get ready for me and Gray's date. I know it isn't until later, but I was so excited I couldn't wait. I woke up at seven a.m. and went for a jog. When I got back, I ate breakfast, then showered, then started picking out what clothes I would wear.
"*Yawn* What are you doing up this early, Natsu?" Happy flew out of our room in an uneven pattern -- he had clearly just woken up, "It's a weekend... What's so important that you have to get up this early?"
"I have a date later tonight," I smiled happily. I looked up at Happy and saw his expression change into one of pure shock.
"A date?!?!"
"Hm? Yeah. Didn't I tell you?" I thought I had told him about me and Gray...
"Tell me what?"
"Gray asked me out," I explained.
"EEEH?!?!" Happy's jaw dropped significantly, "Y-you? And... Gray?! How?! Since when?! W-why?!"
"Remember that mission we went on together for a few days?... That's how it started," I decided to leave out the part about Gray kissing me first on that snowy night, "But besides that, I have no idea what to wear... I can't just wear my regular clothes, right? It's like, date-taboo... or something."
"How should I know? Just throw on whatever," Happy sighed and descended down onto the couch, "I don't think Gray will care."
"Alright..."
Gray's POV:
Finally, it was time for me to go pick Natsu up. I stood at his front door, and quickly ran my fingers through my hair. I rapped the door with my knuckles three times, then waited for him to answer. In my hands was a bouquet of red roses, which I didn't exactly think Natsu would want, but Lucy insisted I give them to him. She said it would make me seem more romantic.
Soon, the door creaked open, and Natsu emerged from the opening. He was wearing a tight pink t-shirt with a tan-coloured infinite scarf around his neck. His pants were nearly skin-tight, and completely black. He was wearing a pair of sunglasses, and well, he looked down-right sexy. Immediately I felt underdressed. Natsu, however, didn't seem to mind. He smiled and stepped outside.
"A-are those for me?" A gentle pink blush rose to Natsu's cheeks when he noticed the flowers I had brought him.
"Yeah!" I said in a fit of flustered nonsense and thrusted the bouquet into his hands. I then looked up at him shyly and asked, "Do you like them?"
"They're pretty," Natsu replied with a childish grin, "But do you mind if I leave them here? I don't wanna carry them around."
"Y-yes. Please do," God.. I feel like I'm doing terribly already.. maybe this was a bad idea. Natsu smiled then quickly ran back into his house. Soon after, he reappeared.
"Okay," he smiled and grabbed my hand, "Let's go, shall we?"
I gave his hand a gentle, reassuring squeeze. Of course, I was reassuring myself, not him. We walked to the restaurant of Lucy's choosing, and took our seat next to the window. There was a candle in the center of the table, gently illuminating Natsu's pretty face. I guess he noticed I was staring, because Natsu suddenly blushed and looked to the side. We looked through the menu to decide what to order, before the waiter showed up.
"Good evening, gentlemen," he greeted with a tiny bow, "Have you decided what you'll be having tonight?"
"Uh, yeah, I think I'll have a steak, cooked rare please," Natsu said politely, "Oh, and a glass of hot water." The waiter looked at me confusedly when Natsu ordered his water hot. I nodded to answer his unasked question; Yes. He wants his water hot. I then proceeded to order my own meal.
"I'll have the Summer salad with a glass of ice water," I said. After I placed my order, I heard Natsu giggle from across the table, "Hm?" I looked over at him, "What's so funny?"
"Isn't it just a bit ironic for you to order the Summer salad?" He asked while grinning, "Wouldn't it be better for you to order the winter salad?"
"Oh, hehe, I guess," I laughed at his joke, even though I thought it was kinda dumb. I mean, I didn't want to hurt his feelings or anything.
Soon, the water came back with our food. It looked, and smelled delicious. I picked up my fork to take a bite and... the waiter fell... into my salad.
"O-oh my gosh, I'm so sorry!" He apologized earnestly as he scrambled back to his feet, "I-I don't know what happened, o-or if I tripped on something--"
"It's fine, man, just.. bring me a new one?" I picked off a piece of lettuce off my shirt.
"Of course sir," the waiter regained his composure, "And, your steak will be here momentarily." The waiter left.
"That was... interesting," Natsu said, "I wonder how he fell. Did he trip?" Natsu started scanning the floor, searching for something the waiter might've fallen on. However, I assume he failed to find anything, for soon after he sat back in his seat with a disappointed frown on his face.
We ate our dinner, then left the restaurant (after paying of course). Lucy Said I had to leave a big tip so I looked more polite, or generous, or whatever.. But considering my dinner was dumped all over me, I settled with just... not complaining.
I walked Natsu to a nearby Park and sat him down on a bench. I smiled at him, happy even just to be able to sit next to him. I daringly reached my arm behind his head and rested it on Natsu's shoulder. Thankfully, he didn't seem to mind. His adorable, blushing face smiled up at me, and all I wanted to do was kiss him. Kiss him until our lips are sore and bleeding. That's kinda dark.. Oh well, I don't care! I gently placed my free hand on Natsu's cheek and carefully pulled his face towards mine. Natsu's eyelids fell closed as I faces came together. And just as our lips were millimeters apart... it started raining. Hard. Fml. We were immediately soaked from head to toe.
"Oh, hehe.. that was really sudden," Natsu said, gazing bemusedly at the now cloudy sky, "It was so nice just a minute ago."
"Y-Yeah..." I said disappointedly. Fuck, I tried so hard to male today perfect. Why couldn't I? How is it even raining?!
"Hehe, let's go back to my place so we can dry off," Natsu laughed and grabbed ahold of my hand. He dragged me all the back to his house, and inside. His house was as messy as usual. Oh well, though. I love him regardless of the fact he's a total pig.
Natsu pulled me through the mounds of messiness up to a room I had never been in before. Wait... is this? It's not.... right? When the door was swung open, the room I was being pulled into was definitely what I thought it was. Natsu was taking me into his room... I felt myself blush as I took in the situation. Date.. Almost kiss.. Sudden cliche rain pour.. Over happy run home.. In boyfriend's bedroom...... I'm getting laid!! I excitedly looked over at Natsu.
"ZZZzzz...." Natsu had already fallen fast asleep in bed. I hung my head in disappointment. Damn...
I quietly trudged over to the side of his bed, taking my shirt and pants off on the way (I wasn't being perverted, I was soaking wet!). I leaned over above him, planting a gentle kiss on Natsu's forehead. Then, being ad careful as I could not to wake him up, I climbed into his bed and layed next to him. I fell asleep with Natsu in my arms. This was the greatest date I had ever been on...
