Goodnight
Gray's POV:
I walked back over to Natsu. He had gotten into some sort of fist fight involving the entire guild. At the moment, he and Elfman were sparring. I pushed my way through the crowds of bodies and flying punches, towards Natsu. There was a big imprint of a fist on the fire mage's cheek, and his eye was puffy and bruised. But, as always, he had a stupid grin on his face as he continued to relentlessly attack Elfman.
As I approached him, I clenched my fist, ready to fight him if need be. In one motion, I hit him hard in the gut.
"Oomph!!" Natsu spun around to counter my hit, "What's the big idea--?! Oh. H-hey Gray." When he saw it was me, he gave up on fighting. I dragged him out of the crowd and to the doors of the guild. "W-what's up?" Natsu asked timidly.
"The master gave us a job," I explained, "We should head out today."
"What job?"
"There's a village that's been frozen over -- he wants one of us to melt it," I explained what little details of the job that I knew, "So get what you need and meet me back here in an hour, I want to get this over with."

Natsu's POV:
My bag was heavy, but it wasn't anything I couldn't handle. I walked through Fiore to the gates of Fairy Tale where Gray was standing with his supplies. As I sauntered over to him, the ice mage looked over at me and waved.
"Hey," he beckoned, "You ready to go?"
"Yeah, are you?"
"Yeah."
...well this got awkward fast...
"So, where is this village?" I asked, trying to make conversation.
"It's North of Magnolia," Gray answered sternly, "We would have to travel through the night to make it by tomorrow around midnight, hence, overnight supplies."
"Right," I agreed. We started walking right away. Honestly, I'm glad we're walking; it's better than taking the train. I hate feeling so sick right before a mission, it throws me off.

A Few Hours Of Walking Later
*************************
Gray's POV:
The one down side of the winter season; it's only six o'clock and it's pitch black outside! I can barely see where I'm stepping. About an hour back, Natsu and I finally made it into the forest, and now we're probably lost.
"Gray, I'm tired. Can't we take a nap?" Natsu groaned. God, why is he so damn lazy?
"We haven't been walking that long; stop complaining," I said, walking ahead of him, "I don't want to set up camp just yet. When you find me a patch of flat ground, we can set up cam--
"Found one," Natsu interrupted me. I turned around to see the ground and vegetation around Natsu burnt to a crisp, and Natsu had a stupid smile on his stupid face, "Now we can set up camp."
"You idiot! What if you burnt the while god damned forest down!?!?!" I clenched my fist in the direction of my companion, "Think first before you ignite something!!"
"Hehe, sorry," Natsu scratched the back of his head, "But still, I'm tired, and I want to go to bed. You can keep walking if you want though, I suppose I could catch up in the morning."
I sighed and threw my bag down onto the now black ground, "We might as well rest now," I reluctantly gave in to Natsu's desires, "After you went and destroyed this spot just for us..."
After we finished setting up camp, Natsu and I lied down inside, right next to each other.
"If even one of your limbs touches me in the middle of the night; I'll cut it off," I said and rolled over so I didn't have to face him.
"Haha, goodnight, Gray," Natsu smiled nonchalantly.
....
"Goodnight."
To Be Continued...
