Back To The Way We Used To Be
Natsu's POV:
"So you really dreamt that you and Gray got married?" Lucy snorted, "Thats's hilarious!"
"Shh!" I shushed her, and covered the blonde's mouth, "Don't say that so loud; it's humiliating!" My protestations just made Lucy laugh even harder, "Luce..." I whined, feeling the blush rise to my cheeks.
"I'm sorry," she blatantly lied, "I won't bug you about it if it really bothers you that much."
"It's not that it bothers me," I lied right back to her, "I just don't want Gray to overhear -- it'd weird him out."
"Oh yeah," Lucy agreed, "And we can't have that. At least not until you two are official."
"Official?! W-What the hell is that supposed to mean?!"
"Oh you know what it means," Lucy smiled at me before standing up. She placed 30 Jewels on the counter to pay for her drink, "Even if you deny it, your subconcious is telling you something. Now, I'm not an expert, but I don't think it takes a proffesional to decipher exactly what that dream meant." With those words, Lucy turned away from me and walked away. Maybe she's right, I thought momentarily, No. That's stupid. Im not in love with--
"Heeeey, Gray," I nervously smiled as the raven-haired boy sat next to me.
"Hey," he said, casually ordering something to eat, "I didn't get a chance to apologize properly, you were far too drunk, so, sorry.."
"Eh? Sorry?" Oh, he must mean that day, and that... kiss. "It's fine. I'm not angry or anything, so don't worry about it."
"Okay, I'm glad, but..." Gray wasn't looking at me while he talked, "if it's okay with you, I was wondering if we could just go back to the way we used to be... you know, fighting all the time. It was a lot easier. So, let's just forget that happened and move on."
...
"Y-yeah," I said after a bit of hesitation, "That sounds good." Is it really that easy?

Gray's POV:
Well, that's over with... But still, why did I do that in the first place? Oh well, I'll just forget it.
"Gray!" I looked up and saw Mira beckoning me from behinc the counter.
"What is it?"
"The master wanted to see you," Mirajane said cheerfully, "He said something about a job request; it sounded important."
"Alright," I pushed away my half-eaten lunch and made my way to where the old man was perched on top of a barstool. In his hand was a barrel of sake. Or, it was a barrel of sake; now it's just an empty barrel, "What is it, gramps? Mirajane said you had a mission for me."
"Ah, yes," the master's face was a bright shade of red; presumably from his drunken state. Jeez, why do I have to put up with so many drunks lately? "I recieved a letter from the magic council. They said that they've uncovered a village completely covered in ice... *hic!* S-so I want you and Natsu to see if you can melt it."
"Eh?! Why do I have to go with him?!" My jaw dropped with disbelief.
"*hic!* 'Cuz you're an ice mage, and he's a fire mage.... I figured that if anyone were too-- *hic!* --if anyone were to melt the ice, it'd be one of you two, so suck it up for the sake of the villagers," master ordered, and I had no choice but to agree. After all, he wasn't exactly wrong.
"Okay, gramps," I hung my head, "I'll go tell Natsu."
