Natsu's POV:

That'd be gross? He didn't have to be an ass about it... "Thanks," I sarcastically retorted, "I feel great about myself."

"Whatever," Gray sighed, "Just keep walking. I feel like we're getting closer."

"Oh yeah, we've been walking for three days and we're only getting closer?"

"Yeah."

Gray didn't say anything after that. It sort of made me wonder what he was thinking about. Or rather, how he wasn't getting extremely bored. I mean, I'm usually pretty patient, but there's nothing I want to do more right now than go to Lucy's house and look through her drawers. Oh, I wonder of she's written a new chapter of her book... With my boredom, came an unconcious trail of thoughts. They seemed to do a good enough job at distracting me, because by the time I came to, Gray had stopped walking and sat down against a tree. He rolled out the map that... Wait, what was her name again? Chia? Chris? Whatever, I forget.. the map that "what's-her-names's grandparents gave him onto the ground.

"What'chya doin?" I asked. Why did I say it like that?

"I'm just marking the map to make sure we go the right way. See, at the moment, we're here," Gray drew a red circle around a spot on the map, indicating where we were supposedly currently standing, "And I'm pretty sure the village is here. So we just need to walk through this bit of trees and we should be there. Actually, of we walk through the night, we might be able to make it there before morning."

"Through the night?" I questioned, "Isn't that dangerous?"

"Are you scared?"

"...not at all," I answered, which was true. I'm not scared of being outside at night at all... I just, really don't have a good feeling about this.
