Epilogue
"Mommy! Colton won't give me my horsies back!" Emma comes running into the living room chasing after Colton.
Colton runs up behind Garrett and hides behind his legs. "Cole, give her back her toys."
He shakes his head and sticks out his tongue at his sister.
"Colton. If you don't give your sister back her horses you can't go to practice today." I say.
"But mommy! She ate my French fry!" He whines and begins to stomp his feet.
"It was one!" Emma shouts.
"Guys. If you do not stop this, you will go straight to bed for the rest of the night." Garrett interjects. The kids immediately become quiet.
Colton holds his hand out and Emma snatches the horse out of his hand and runs upstairs.
Cole falls on the couch in defeat before crawling into my lap. I hug him and kiss him on his cheek. "Can I still go to practice?"
I nod and sway him back and forth, "Stop fighting with your sister. You know how upset she gets."
He giggles, "it's funny."
Garrett laughs and sits down next to me, "Yeah he's definitely my kid."
I roll my eyes and Colton jumps off the couch and runs up the stairs, probably to go change into his practice gear.
Garrett coaches his little league football team. Just imagine having a NFL player as your coach, those kids are gonna be unstoppable.
Everyone wants to be on this team, and I mean everyone. It gets hard sometimes since he's famous and everything, but we get through it.
Colton is five now and Emma is four. I have a feeling that they will be close when they get older since it's just the two of them.
They are both very bright for their age and my goodness, Emma is so beautiful. She could be a model at this age. She's gotten offers before but I just don't want to expose my baby into that kind of spotlight yet.
I still work at the New York Times, I am one of the executives now. I got a super lucky opportunity since one of the men retired and I was granted the position.
Garrett is still going strong in the NFL, we are both twenty-eight now. We both worked in the morning until around four. We would come home and then head to practice.
I don't think we planned on having any more kids at the moment. If we did we would have to move since there would be no more rooms for the baby. I would hate to have to my my two kids share a room with each other.
They would kill each other.
Colton comes running down the stairs again with his practice shoes on. Emma followed him with a coloring book and markers.
We usually went with the boys to their practice and Emma and I sit on a blanket and do something.
Today we would color apparently.
I grab a few snacks to nibble on and grab the keys to the Jeep. I had recently traded it in for the newest wrangler model. It was so nice.
Well, Garrett and I both had new cars, he got the newest Ford F-150 too. We still have that damn Maserati. I've tried numerous times to get him to sell it since it's not really safe for our kids. He told me no and that was our date night car.
I have a strange husband.
We walk outside and are greeted by our neighbors. "Hi Ivy!" Colton yelled, she immediately waved at him and screamed, "Hey Colton!"
Ivy just moved in next door with her parents who are pretty close to us now. They are the same age and are pretty close. Emma is friends with them too, but she doesn't play with them often since she's still young.
We get the kids settled into their car seats and head towards the park.
When we arrived most of the team was there already. On the bright side, all of Garrett's friends were dads with boys on the team.
Let me just tell you, these kids are the future. Well that's why Garrett says at least.
When I get out of the car I'm greeted by Ellie and her daughter, Sarah. She happened to be the same age as Emma so we tried to make them become friends.
Charlie was here too, but she doesn't have a daughter, just twin boys.
We head to our usual spot where we could see the boys play and have our own space. I spread the towel out and hand Emma her art supplies.
"How are you guys doing?" I ask as my two friends sit down.
Ellie smiles, "Great! I think Carson and I are going to have another baby!"
I gasp, "That's great! So exciting."
"Tyler and I may be moving soon." Charlie frowns.
"What? Why!" Ellie and I scream.
She looks down in embarrassment, "Well he could be getting drafted to another MLB team for more money and playing time. I don't know I just want what's best for him."
I pout, "Well, let's make the most out of what time we have left together!"
She chuckles, "Definitely."
Ellie turns back to me, "So how is your brother doing?"
I chuckle, "Barely hanging by a thread provably." Savannah and Matt had four kids. Two sets of twins. One was two older boys who were now four named, Max and Cody. The other were girls named, Sydney and Alyssa, they were now two years old.
They still lived in Georgia since Matt had been drafted to the Atlanta Braves baseball team. I'm honestly surprised that Garrett and I didn't have twins since I am a twin and it runs in our genes.
My sister-in-law and brother were as strong as ever. They were happy even though they had a handful of kids running around their house.
They had bought some land and it allowed the kids to burn off so much energy by running all over the endless amount of acres.
I haven't heard from Alexis since Emma was born, four years ago. Shelby was now almost 10 and Hayes and her have a few other kids that I'm not sure of their names.
They moved to Europe a few years ago and are living it up over there.
Maybe I'll text her soon.
We chat for a while until practice is over. "There's my two handsome boys." I say as my favorite guys walk up to me.
"Hi, mama." Colton said wrapping his arms around me.
"Hi mama," Garrett teases sitting down next to me and kissing my cheek.
I scrunch up my nose, "You are literally just coaching how are you so sweaty?"
He laughs, "It's hot as a mother-." He catches himself before he lets the curse word slip out of his mouth, "It's hot."
I giggle and start to pack up all of our stuff. Emma was passed out on the blanket. She sure did take a lot of naps.
Garrett picks her up and carries her to the car and carefully sets her in the car seat. Colton climbs in the car and buckled himself up because he could officially do things on his own according to him.
I don't like him growing up. I want him to stay little forever.
I double check his work before climbing in the car. "Baby, what do you want for dinner?" Garrett asks.
"Frozen pizza and dinosaur nuggets?" I suggest. I didn't really feel like whipping up a whole meal considering it was already almost seven at night.
"Dinosaur nuggets!" Colton shouts from the backseat.
Garrett chuckles, "He has spoken."
When we arrive home I pop the food in the oven and take Emma upstairs for her bath. She had woken up when we got home.
After her bath I bring her back downstairs for dinner to see that Colton had showered too. They both each have their own bathrooms.
The timer went off on the oven and I took out the pizza and nuggets. "Who's hungry?" I shout and everyone ran into the kitchen ready to gulf the food down.
Garrett walks up behind me and hugs me, "Looks almost as delicious as you in those shorts."
I roll my eyes and turn around to face him. He plants a kiss on my lips and doesn't pull away until Colton screams, "Ewww!"
Garrett picks up a hand towel and throws it at him, "Buddy when you grow older you will realize you want to kiss your girl all the time."
"I'm gonna do that to Ivy!" He responds.
I chuckle and lean against Garrett's body, "Cole, you're too young for that."
"But I like Ivy. She's cool."
Garrett just smiles in amusement, "I knew my boy would be a ladies man." He reaches across the island counter and gives him a fist bump.
I hit Garrett's arm before stepping out of his grip to grab my food. I fix the kids their plate of nuggets and sauces then I grab a few slices of pizza for myself.
We sit down at the table and we all talk about our day. "Well I went to work and read about a hundred articles for six hours until my eyes hurt. Then I came home to my lovely family! How about you babe?"
"I went to the stadium and practiced and then I went to McDonald's and ate all of the calories I burned off. Then I came home to my sexy wife and kids. And you know the rest." He sent me a wink and I laughed.
"Daddy! You sent to McD's without me?" Emma whined, "I went to pre-school and played today with my new boyfriend, Alex."
I almost spit out the cup of water I was drinking, "Boyfriend?"
"Yeah! He's nice."
Garrett shakes his head, "No, you're too young to have a boyfriend."
"But, daddy!"
I silently laugh to myself, "Well I would love to meet this Alex."
Colton rolls his eyes, "I went to kindergarten and made paintings. I also scored a touchdown today at practice."
"Wow! That's great Colton! Are you excited for your game on Friday?"
"Yeah! I think we will win. Right dad?"
Garrett chuckles and nods, "I hope so."
"You should win, you are drilling them like they are in a high school varsity state play-off game."
"Hey!" Garrett interjects, "That's how you become one of the best!"
I laugh and we begin to talk about the rest of our week plans.
I stare at Garrett from across the table who was helping Colton with one of his math problems. I smile to myself as I just watch him be a dad.
He's so amazing.
After dinner we clean up and put everyone to bed. I take a shower and climb into the king sized bed and snuggle next to Garrett.
He wraps his arms around my body and I lean up to kiss him. "I'm so thankful for you." I say.
"Touché," he responds. "I love you."
I smile and trace the new tattoos he had added on his arm. "I love you too." On his forearm there were four initials written up his arm.
G. J. C. E.
All of our initials.
"My life is perfect All Because Of You." I mutter as I fall into a deep sleep.

THE END!
Hope you enjoyed. I'm going to miss writing about these two so much! Don't worry they will definitely be in the spin-off from...
Colton's Perspective !!
The books name is "Introducing Ivy".
It is out on my profile...now!
The first two chapters are up!
"I pull up outside of his house and I don't move, "Want me to stay here so you have a ride home?"
She shakes her head, "No. I'll probably get a ride from him, but if not I'll call you." She kisses my cheek before opening the door of my car, "Thank you for everything. I love you."
And here come the butterflies.
Saying I love you to her was so easy. Because I meant it.
"I love you too! Don't let him put a hand on you or his hand will be chopped off!" I joked.
She rolls her eyes with a smile on her face, "You know he's not like that."
She starts to walk away, "You never know! You never really know the real truth about someone."
Just how she doesn't know that I really love her."
