'So you're gonna break up with him?' Yuki asked.

'Yuki, I said I don't want to talk about him or anything related to him.' Hayoon gritted her teeth. 'How about you sit beside me when I talk to him?'

'Okay, sure.' Yuki nodded.

'Good, now leave me alone.' Hayoon mumbled.

'Fine, fine. You don't need to be so rude.' Yuki muttered and walked away.

Hayoon walked back and forth the living room, her phone beside her ear, as Yuki stared at her, sitting on the couch.

The phone rang, and a second later, Jaehyun picked up.

'Hey, baby. Thank you so much you called ba-' Jaehyun was interrupted.

'Lets break up.' She said.

'Huh?' He asked, confused. 'What...what?'

'Jaehyun...I think we should take a break from this relationship.' She sighed.

'But...but why? I'm sorry for snapping at you...I didn't really think you would break up with me just because of this!' Panic was laced in his voice.

'No, Jaehyun, no...I'm not breaking up with you because of that...it's just that we can't understand each other like we used to...this whole long distance relationship...I agree it was my idea, but this type of relationship is making me frustrated.' She explained.

'We can't understand each other like we used to, we can't even find time to talk to each other...so I thought that this was the best thing to do.' She sighed.

She heard him scoff from the other side.

'So you thought breaking up with me is the best solution?' He raised his voice. 'You...you didn't think of anything else...like, like, TRYING to make time for each other?' He snapped at her.

'See, that's why I was saying we should take a break.' She said, trying to sound calm, but her voice was breaking. 'You are not even trying to understand why I'm saying this!'

'What if I come back?' Jaehyun asked. 'Then we can try it out again, right?'

'Jaehyun, please. Stop saying things which you know aren't possible.' She scoffed.

'Answer my question.' He said, monotonously.

'I don't know, okay? Why don't we see that once you come back?' She said, getting frustrated.

'Till then?' He asked.

'Till then...we're just roommates. Or maybe, only friends.' She said, hanging up and looking at Yuki.

Yuki gave her a sad smile and walked away.
