What made you guys become the HelpingHandsClub? Why did you decide to make the HHC? Did you just decide you would one day or is there something deeper to it?

Originally, the HHC was created by someone else but the oldest member of this club is Remy (who was part of the original four).

We decided to become the HelpingHandsClub because we feel that although there are plenty of really great clubs and committees on Wattpad, they all focus on a specific topic. Sure, that can be great - and we have no doubt that they're very helpful! But we feel that in life, nothing is clear set - life isn't one clear topic or box. Things in life mix together and it can be difficult to know who to ask for help. But you can ask us! Between our team, we like to think we know bits about most topics so we can help you to heal as a whole.

Why did you guys choose the name HelpingHandsClub?

Once the club was handed over to Remy, that was a question that certainly remained. Why not change the name now that the club was under new ownership? We decided we ought to keep the name because it defines our club. We really are the HelpingHandsClub and we're here to give you a helping hand whenever you need it. 

What do you hope HelpingHandsClub will be in the future? How far do you think it will go? 

This is very much up in the air at this moment. We would love to see this club help people all across the world and we're already doing that! Sure, it would be pretty cool to get 'popular' but we don't run this club for that reason. We hope that HelpingHandsClub will be a place for people on the Internet to be safe, loved and a place where silenced voices can be heard. We also hope to educate others on what life is and to show you that there's always a story behind someone's eyes. We believe that we can grow and grow as long as we have the support and keep our core mission in mind. We can't say how far it'll go but as long as we try our best to help, then the sky's the limit.

How would you describe HelpingHandsClub and the people in it? 

The people here have become a family in the short time that we have known each other. We may not be perfect but we are compassionate and have endless trust for each other. The members of our club are as diverse as the topics we cover. While we come from different parts of this world, are different ages and have different ideals, we are united in our desire to better the lives of others. We would describe the HHC as a safe haven for anybody. Anyone can come here and we will show no judgment, whatever you tell us. Think of us as a gear train, the gears can be as different as the night and day but still, we make things work. 

Would you ever write inspirational short stories, if so would you cover one universal topic, like bullying but featuring multiple characters or individual stories covering a specific topic like racism or homo/transphobia?

While we usually concentrate on nonfiction works, we're always open to something new and it wouldn't hurt to incorporate our messages into fiction. We might do one in the future.
