I am so f*cking freaking nervous , it is 8:45 pm , he is gonna be here like in 15 minutes .

Oh Come on Katherine hold yourself , it is not even a date , Why you're freaking out ?

Stop acting like a teenager you stupid , you weren't like this before...

What is happening to me , i mean i used to always ignore him but now even though i'm denying it but i love seeing him ,talking to him and staring at those blue eyes of his...

Oh god ! I am in a big trouble , I cant like him , i just can't.

Okay Katherine promise yourself that you will get rid of these feelings, you will not let him affect you, act normal, stop kissing him in your mind , and let this night pass.

Okay okay , i promise , i'll try to behave..

A knock on the door snapped me from the debate i was having with my self. That is him for sure , but why i'm having this awkward feeling in my stomach again.

Damn what did you just promised you horny girl..

Okay dammit okay stop shouting in my head !

I took a deep breath to calm my nerves before i went and opened the door.

And there he was standing with all his glory leaning on the door's frame looking hot as hell, with a breathtaking smile on his lips showing one of his dimples.

He was just wearing a blue jeans and a white polo t-shirt with white  sneakers, and oh my god are those abs i see from here..

Damn him, I don't know how he do this, making simple clothes look so damn sexy.

"Like what you see." Chase amused tone zoned me in , and then i noticed i was checking him out.

Dammit !

"I've seen better ." Was my reply.

Way to go Kat,Way to go..

"Cara , come on they are here ,we are going." I said trying not to look at this handsome creature in front of me.

"Coming" She said while coming down the stairs.

"Hey chase." Cara squealed when she saw chase.

She was checking him too , why?

Why i am caring any way ?

Well you sound like you care..

Just shut up !

He smiled and nodded his head then started walking toward the car with me following behind, when we reached the car he opened the door for me , gentleman much ha !

And when i was going to enter he came closer, and whispered in my ear "I told you try not to look so sexy" .

Okay now how i am supposed to keep my promises, just the closeness of his mouth near my ear and the feeling of his breath on my neck sent shivers down my spine .

Screw my promise , i want to kiss him right here and right now !

Hold on , Just Hold on ..

I kept reminding myself all the time on our way to the game .

I kept silent for most of the ride while Cara being the full energized Cara  was having different conversations with both Caleb and Chase,but every now and then i caught chase glancing at me through the small mirror.

I hate him !

You actually don't..

"We are here ." Chase said while parking the car jerking me out of my thoughts.

We get down and headed toward the game, Caleb and Cara walked together and Chase and me were following behind , and i was doing my best to avoid looking at him.

"Thanks."He suddenly said .

"What?" I exclaimed not understanding why he is thanking me.

"Thank you for coming" he replied without even looking at me. Then he started walking faster trying to reach caleb and cara.

This guy is weird !

Cute handsome kind of weird..

Shut up my mind , You are not helping me here !

We arrived to our seats and Cara being the hopeless romantic took a seat beside Caleb leaving me to sit beside Chase on purpose, when we were seated she winked at me which just earned a murderous glare from me.

To say i was paying attention to the game was a big fat lie. The whole time i am just trying to overcome the fact that he is just few inches away from me , and the way he was looking at me every now and then wasn't helping that much.

And that feeling in my stomach wont go away .

I think i am sick, remind to see a doctor later.

They are taking a break now, and everyone was looking at the big screen waiting for the kissing cam couple...but wait why I am seeing myself and Chase on the screen ?

Ohhh nooooo! Noo big nooo ! I am imagining right, this cant be true .

"Oh my god ! Kat its you and Chase " Cara said with her usual enthusiastic voice.

"No no no way !!" I said with wide eyes but everyone in the game was cheering and screaming kiss kiss !

I didn't know how it happened, or how Chase even managed to cup my face with his hands ,all i felt was his lips crashing into mine, i was shocked at the beginning but without noticing it, i started kissing him back and Oh god it felt good.

So damn good..

F*ck my promises , my hands went to the back of his head running my hand in his soft hair , I was on cloud nine , the way his lips moved against mine made my body burn with desire.

My heart was beating so fast , i swear i can hear it, my mind had blocked out that I forget about all the people around us, i forget we are in a game , it was like it is just me and him alone.

We stopped kissing and me being disappointed was an understatement but he was still cupping my face with his hands and our faces were so close and he was staring directly into my eyes and i could she the lust and passion in his blue eyes.

The clapping of people snapped me back to reality and then i realized what i have done .

I kissed him ! That is not right , way to go with your promises Katherine.

This small kiss affected me so much but for sure it didn't mean anything to him, of course he is used to kiss any girl he lay an eye on but this was my ..

It was my first kiss !

This is so wrong , i didn't know why i felt like crying ,i didn't cry since a long time a go since..

They died ...

I promised myself back then that i would never cry again, but bringing back this memory made me want to cry even more ,but i cant cry not in front of him..I cant.

I removed his hands from my face and rushed outside the game , I heard them yelling my name over and over but i didn't bother to look back, I just kept running .

When i was out , i took a deep breath trying to push those creepy thoughts away , after a minute i felt a hand on my shoulder .

I turned around to be face to face with Chase's worried face.

"Katherine , what's wrong ? " he asked his tone lacing with concern.

"Nothing, it is nothing, just .. It is just that kiss ... it wasn't supposed to happen"

"Why not !" He exclaimed raising his voice a bit.

"Why you always push me away?!" he continued when i didn't answer and i can sense the bitter change in his tone.

"Why i should not push you away ? Don't act like that kiss meant anything to you." I said getting angry now for no reason.

"What if it did ? What if it meant a lot to me ?" He exclaimed.

My heart fluttered at the thought , but no he is lying i am sure , of course it meant nothing to him , i promised myself i will not fall for your lies Chase , no way I am opening that door that will end up with me getting hurt.

No way...

"I don't care , because it meant nothing to me." I said with a blank face.

He cursed something under his breath, before letting out a frustrated sigh .

"Okay then, i am sorry , sorry for inviting you here, sorry for kissing you. I just though it would mean something to you.." He took a pause and then .."because it did to me ." He said and rushed back inside leaving me lost in my thoughts, trying to digest what he had just said.

After a while Cara came beside me, "Are you okay?" She asked me looking worried.

"Yeah i am fine , lets just go home." I said my mind still busy digesting what Chase has just said.

"Girls get into the car, I will take you home." Caleb said passing by us and heading toward the car.

"What about chase ? " Cara asked reading my mind.

"I will come back for him, come on get into the car, it is getting cold." Caleb said while unlocking the car.

The way back to home was silent and it made me go back to what chase said about that kiss , that it meant something to him , could this be true ?

No , no way , Of course not !

But the one thing i was sure about..that it meant a lot to me...

And here is chapter 4 , so two chapters in the same day ;) , i just felt like writing .
I hope you are not bored yet from the first chapters because soon i will get to the main plot of the story but you need to know the backstory before.
