The story :

Long ago there was a beautiful prince named Mark. He lived in a castle with his parents. However when he was a small child, a jealous witch cast a curse on him

The curse :

By night one way
By day another
This shall be the norm
Until you find true loves first kiss
Then take loves true form

Mark was a beautiful prince by day but at night he transformed into a hideous beast. The only way for the curse to be lifted is if Mark received true loves kiss. His parents locked Mark in a tower to await the day he would be rescued by his true love. The tower was guarded by a fire breathing ferocious dragon.

Many years passed and Mark now 17, remained in the tower, alone and waiting. But no one ever came to rescue him. Every sunset mark would lay down on his bed, transforming into a hideous beast and crying himself to sleep. Misery was his only friend.

Everyone talked about the prince but no one was brave enough to rescue him. Slowly, Mark lost hope in ever being rescued and he gave up. The next time Mark transformed into a hideous beast, the cruel nature of the curse, kicked in and when the sun came up, Mark never changed back into a beautiful prince. he remained a hideous beast. The beautiful prince Mark was gone

People began to talk about the cursed prince, story became myth, myth became legend.. Until the cursed prince was forgotten by everyone and the beast that remained, scared all.

Will the prince ever be saved? Or will he be lost forever? , who could save him? Who could love a hideous beast?
