Well the time has come to talk about the "sad" parts of Mark's life..

Let's start at the first actual"sad" part of Mark's life which is his parents divorce it didn't impact him much but to see his dad sad and disappointed he also felt sad but then a few years his dad found someone and this made Mark happy (not because she bought Mark a PS1, but because she made his dad happy and that was hard to do at the time).

Moving on to something more extreme, that is the death of his dad.

Before all this happened Mark was about the age of 15 when he had received a note from his dad, "it was all words and stuff, but the main thing written on the page was Cancer in big words." -Mark in his Draw My Life video. A few years later he and his brother woke up to his step-mom  screaming, and later to find his dad dying, "I held my dad's hand while he was dying, and the last thing he said to me was, I love You, so much.."

After that Mark's dad died he felt more confused more than before. For some years later Mark felt a pain in his side which turned into extreme pain in his side, so much pain he had to go to the hospital, at the hospital he was told that his appendix was the size of a beach ball and had to be removed, and also he had been told he had a tumor the size of a fist and also had to be removed but at a later date. The surgery was well and he had some time to think in the hospital, the more thinking he did the more frustrated he became, he later decided that enough was enough and decided to do what he wanted to do which was make videos. But he was still still in the hospital so he got angry.

The next story is about Mark's friend Daniel Kyre from . Before this happened Daniel Kyre, and Ryan Magee, who created and ran the YouTube  and music channel Cyndago. Matt Watson from  Maker Studios later joined Cyndago after they moved to . Their work was noted for having unexpected endings. Cyndago was disbanded following the death of Daniel Kyre . At the time of their disbandment, the group had done forty sketches and fourteen original songs, many of them featuring Markiplier. After the death of Daniel Kyre and disbandment of Cyndago, Markiplier temporarily halted uploads and went on hiatus from September 17 to October 5, 2015. His return was shortly followed by the channel reaching 10 million subscribers on October 15.
