Shelby's P.O.V

I answered Will's Discord call. "Hey Will!" I greeted.

"You busy this next two weeks?" Will asked.

"No... not out of the usual work schedule... why?"

"You wouldn't mind if we came to stay at your apartment, would you?"

"Oh. Oh no. No of course not!" I grinned. "When are you coming?"

"Em and I are meeting Grase at the airport on Sunday night."

Only two days away. "I'll pick you up when you call me," I said.

"I can't wait!"

"Me neither!"

Come Sunday night, we arrived back at my apartment, the Salt Squad and I. I helped Graser, Em and Will take their luggage and it wasn't long before we had some McDonald's ordered. Everyone was pretty tired, so after food, we sorted out beds and went to sleep.

I woke up to Em helping Graser make pancakes. "No, not that much egg!" Em exclaimed, taking the partially cracked egg from Graser and throwing it in the sink. "We don't want whatever the heck you made last time."

"This seems promising," I said, walking into the kitchen.

"You're only saying that because Em's in here," Graser frowned.

"Yup."

(Okay so the author is very hyped to get into the meat of the story so like we're just gonna skip to like 5pm or something the pancakes were quite nice just so you know too)

"Don't you have that tabletop role play thing?" Em asked as she scratched Starlord behind the ears.

My gaze bounced back and fourth between a red flannel and a green-and-blue flannel. I soon put the red flannel away and slipped the other one on over my shoulders. "I do actually, you guys can either chill here or come with me to watch," I replied.

"Okay, I'm kinda interested in coming along. Dunno about the boys though."

"You brought company?" Zac said as I walked in with the Salt Squad.

"Yeah I did," I replied. "This is Will, Em and Graser." I pointed to each squad member as I introduced them. I turned to the ones who play the Radar. "This is Matt, Mika, Aabria, Lucas and Zac."

"Hi," Lucas waved.
