"So how's your work going on? I heard from Jisoo that you're finally getting a job" Taehyung curiously asked Jennie who sat across his seat. They were currently having their brunch.

Having lunch, breakfast and such things became a habit since they got along well from the last two weeks.

"well, boring as I expected but I still enjoyed my job as a waitress" she smiled a bit.

She knew it was a stupid decision to pursued a career as waitress when she was offered the chance to become a lawyer instead.

Yes, Jennie was supposed to have a bright future due to her successful achievement.

But even her decision now is all influenced by the fact that she's going to die soon, so why would she waste her time with that?

"glad to know that you're actually loving your job, Jisoo was worried as heck" they exchanged a sincere smile.

As Jennie continued on munching her food, questions began loading her mind.

Why did he kept mentioning Jisoo?

What's happening between both of them?

How did Jisoo even get closed to him?

Am I the third wheeler?
Or just another of their concern, all those unanswered questions only caused more sadness to lay inside of her.

There's just something about it which suddenly make her felt hopeless. Was it disappointment or loneliness?, she can't decide it, yet.

"Anyway, can I ask you something?" the silence goes off. Jennie simply nodded her head, looking forward to hear his question.

"since you're close  with Jisoo, I just wanted to know whether she's single or not?" his fluffy cheeks slowly turning into a rosy one.

He tried so hard to gaze into Jennie's lifeless pupil, but everything only ended up with his awkward action.

In that very moment, Jennie wished that she never accept to answer him, how she hoped that it would be a different topic and how she prayed that he was talking about her.

She can't mutter anything nor giving a response except those hurtful look. The crystal clear of pain filled in her cat eyes.

"No, she's already in a relationship" she lied. She couldn't bare to suffer even more since her heart was aching badly. Dizziness suddenly came back.

Jennie fainted precisely in her spot.

She need help, she really wanted to get rid of the love that slowly growing inside her.

There's only less than 2 months left to live and there she was falling for him, building a powerful feeling that may not even be replied by Taehyung himself.
