Lucy's POV.(a hour after talking to Thorn)

I was in masters office at the guild.

"Master, Thorn contacted me and told me to pack so she can take me to her apartment in crocus so I can help treat the wounds of a new found 'friend', I am not certain if he is her friend since he 'disgraced' me and they fought twice already, he lost both times though." I said getting off track. "But in 1 hour time she will teleport to the guild to come get me so she can take me to her apartment. I was told I will treat his wounds and then after a while after he is better, I can stay there for a while if I want." I said and master smiled at me and said,

"Of course you may go, you miss your older sister so then you must go! And I have a feeling that something or someone important in your future is there." He said winking at me for the last part. I blushed and nodded my head then bowed. "Now go tell the others about your absence and when should you be back?" He asked.

"If all goes well I should be back in less than a month, if something goes wrong it could take 2 months." I told him. He dismissed me and I went downstairs with my suitcase.

"Hey Luce, why do ya got the bag of clothes? You gonna take a long mission?" Asked Natsu, over the past week I've been here, I've considered him my best friend and I've made more best friends, like Levy, Mira, Cana, and more.

"Thorn is gonna come pick me up in 1 hour, so I can help treat a wounded friend of hers. It'll only be about a month until I get back, but it should be less if all goes right, if something goes wrong then it'll take more than a month maybe 2 months." I explained, Erza, Gray, Happy and Natsu stood up from their table and all said in unison,

"We'll help!" I laughed and said,

"I don't know if Thorn wants 5 extra people with her, as far as I know she has 3 dragon slayers, 3 exceeds, and probably her uncle staying with her. So I'll just have to find a hotel to stay at and I'm sure you'll be fine without me! I'll be gone a month! It'll be fine!"

"Lucy you will not be staying in a hotel, you'll be sharing a room with me, while Sting and Rouge share my Uncle's bedroom and my uncle and Kane will share Kane's room. It's already arranged and the exceeds can have whatever room their partners are in, but I'm sure Talon wants to be near Froche as much as he can." Said a familiar voice, I turned to see the voice in the middle of them talking and at the end they winked. It was Thorn.

"Aren't you suppose to pick me up in 1 hour?" I asked, she chuckled and said,

"Yes but I had the feeling you need help explaining and Froche wants to meet my baby sis, oh would ya look at that! Talon is cuddling with Froche in their sleep! Now all of you be quiet unless you want your throats ripped out." She said smirking at the last part.

"Well are you ready to go? I'm sure the whole guild knows about your absence for the next month. Don't worry I'll make sure Lu keeps in touch." She said, I nodded and grabbed her arm and the next thing I knew, I was in a living room and I saw a man with black hair and red eyes, and a man with red hair, white going at the end with light green eyes. The other man had black hair and blue eyes, he was the tallest of them, there was also a blonde man on the couch with bandages wrapped around him.

"Why didn't you use Time Arc on him?" I asked Thorn.

"Lu I can't use that on him, I have a lot to learn right now and I'm working on an important spell, I have to concentrate on. I'll explain the details later, when we get into the room, ok? Just let's change his bandages and get him into his bed." She said and started walking to him and gently picked him up and walked to a room with a black and blue door.

"Um sure, where do you keep the bandages?" I asked nervous.

"In my room, it has red and black on the door!" She yelled from inside the room. I went into that room and saw a bed with a pink blanket and another bed with black sheets with blood red paint splatters, and a black and red blanket. The bandages and first aid kit were on the black and red bed, I grabbed it and ran to the room Thorn was in. I tripped and fell into someone, it was the man with black hair and red eyes. I felt sparks when he touched my arms to help me up.

"H-h-hi I'm lucy." I said stuttering at the beginning.

"Hello I'm Rouge, I'm Stings friend, the one your suppose to be helping." He said with a emotionless face, except the small smile that you could barely see.

"Lu! Hurry up with those bandages! I don't feel like buying uncle new sheets after these two leave!" Thorn yelled. I ran into the room and gave the bandages to her, "Let me guess, tripped and fell into Rouge? Then got distracted? Well I guess I was right..." She started and trailed off at the end since she was removing bandages and then replacing them with new clean ones.

"What do you mean you were right?" I asked. She laughed and said,

"Earlier today I read Sting's mind and then said, 'you should stop flirting with others and flirt more with this 'Yukino' girl' or something like that and they were surprised, then I read Rouges mind and saw that he knows Yukino is Sting's mate, but he hasn't found his yet. I told him he'd find her soon. Well I just got these new powers I guess and it shows me who are peoples 'soulmate' or in a dragon slayers terms, their 'mate' and I saw you were Rouges mate. Do you accept him as your mate? Or do you reject him?" She asked me after explaining.

"What happens if I reject?" I asked nervous.

"He either 1 goes into depression and never gets another mate. 2, He goes crazy over the rejection of his mate. Or 3, he slowly dies from the inside. But just cause he's your mate and vis-versa doesn't mean you have to rush into anything, you can take your time to get to know each other. But if you do not choose before dragon mating season, you could both die." She says serious while finishing off the bandages.

"Alright, does Rogue know?" I ask.

"Did you feel sparks when he helped you up?" She asked. I nodded, "Yup he knows, if he hasn't figured it out then he already knows since he has dragon slayer hearing plus he's right at the door way." She said getting up. "Rouge your bed is in the corner right there, Uncle and Kane are asleep, so now you two and I are the only ones awake, since Sting is unconscious still." She said with a straight face. "Lucy have you eaten dinner yet? Rouge made dinner and I'm sure there are left overs." She said.

"How much did he make?" I asked. "He made enough for about 3 exceeds, 3 dragon slayers and 2 regular mages. But he didn't know my uncle was a dragon slayer too, so I switched my uncle's food with mine, but I didn't eat either way." She said winking when she said her uncle was a 'dragon slayer'

'so they don't know he's a dragon? Wow, um ok and you need to eat too!' I said threw the telepathic link we have.

I wasn't hungry and no one knows he's a dragon except me, you and him. Kane is his foster son, but Kane was hit with a spell by a evil Mage, the spell was to make him lose his memory and change his appearance. I have about less than 5 days to figure out a spell Uncle is teaching me for Kane's memories, or else Kane loses his memories forever. That's why I didn't use time arc on Sting. She said through the link.

"Alright let's go Lu, I'm sure Rouge is tired so let's go to the kitchen so you can eat, goodnight Rouge." Thorn said. I said goodnight and left but before we left Rouge asked,

"where are the exceeds?" Thorn answered the question with,

"They wanted to sleep in my room as a little slumber party, Talon always sleeps in my room, Froche wants to stay near Talon and Lector acts as if Froche is a baby sister so he is staying in there too. Goodnight Rouge, I'll make breakfast in the morning ok?" She explained then asked. He nodded and said goodnight then closed the door after we left the room. We went to the kitchen and I ate the left overs, it was really good, I hadn't thought of Rouge as the cooking type of guy.

"Awww are you falling for him already? Alright let's go to bed." Said Thorn and I tried getting up so I could follow her to the room but I fell flat on my face, her Uncle came out and saw me on the floor, he looked at Thorn and she just waved her hand saying she'll tell him tomorrow. He went back in the room and she came over to me and picked me up in her arms, dang she's strong! Well I already knew this before she picked up Natsu, me, and Happy.

"Obviously Happy needs to get stronger, he must have spaghetti arms, and Natsu needs to work out more, he isn't even as strong as me, heck all the dragon slayers need to work out!" Complained Thorn about the dragon slayers spaghetti strength. We went into the room and she laid me down on the bed with pink blankets, then she put Talon and a green exceed with a pink frog suit on me and they cuddled with me, I looked at her confused and then she said,

"that's Rouge's exceed, if Froche likes you, which she will, then Rouge will like you too. Froche calls me, Nee-chan and she calls Talon, Tal-kun." She explained and then we went to bed, she was sleeping beside Lector and I beside Talon and Froche.
