A boy blindfolded a girl.

- What are you doing Kartik?

Kartik: Just wait and watch Aanya!

Aanya: How will I watch you have blindfolded me?
Aanya said while making a pout.

Kartik chuckled at her cuteness and pulled her cheek.

Kartik: hold my hand and come with me!

Aanya held Kartik's hand and he took with to a place which is dark all around. Kartik opened her blindfold and left from there.

Aanya slowly opened her eyes and saw that she was in a dark room where just a beam of light was coming on her.

Aanya: Kartik! Kartik where are you?

She started panicking just then a pop sound came and the lights switched on. Aanya saw that the room was whole decorated with colourful balloons and ribbons. There were many pics of Aanya sticked on the wall. Kartik came there singing and with a cake in his hand.

Kartik: Happy Birthday to you!
Happy Birthday to you
Happy Birthday my life
Happy Birthday to you!

He kept the cake on the table.

Aanya: You remember?

Kartik: How can I forgot my Aanya's birthday! If this day wouldn't have came I would never have got you in my life! Happy Birthday Anu!

Aanya was having tears in her eyes. She hugged Kartik tightly.

Aanya: Thank you Kartik! Thank you so much

Aanya kissed Kartik's cheeks and Kartik kissed her forehead.

Kartik: I love you Aanya!

Aanya: I love you more Kartik

Kartik: Now no crying! Come on cut the cake.

Aanya blew the candles that were on the cake, Kartik clapped and then Aanya cut the cake. She took a piece of the cake any feed it to Kartik. Kartik took the same piece from Aanya's hand and feed it to her.

Aanya: Thank you so much for this surprise Kartik!

Kartik: Ye toh sirf shuruwat hai!

Kartik made Aanya sit on the couch and he too sat beside her. Kartik switched on the home theatre and it flashed the moments that Kartik and Aanya spent together. It was all the photos of them from their childhood as they were childhood friends till now. Aanya was having tears in her eyes and this time Kartik too. Kartik wiped his tears and Aanya's too.

After watching it, Kartik took Aanya to dance with him. He played the song.

The song stopped and Kartik sat on his one knee infront of Aanya.

Kartik: You are the girl I have been finding from a long time! You are the one my life is meant to...without you I am nothing! Ms. Aanya Singhania will you marry me?

Kartik said the last line forwarding his hand towards Aanya. Aanya held his hand.

Aanya: Yes Kartik, yes!

Kartik stood up and hugged Aanya tightly. Aanya too hugged him back.

Aanya: Thank you so much Kartik for making my day so special! After my mom and dad's death you never let me feel their absence. You did everything you could for me! I am the luckiest that I have you in my life as my life partner!

Kartik: Aanya I want a promise from you!

Aanya: What?

Kartik: If something happened to me ever in future you will forget me and move on. You will not hurt yourself or take any wrong step!

Aanya pushed Kartik.

Aanya: Shut up! Nothing is gonna happen to you. If anything happens then I will also die.

Kartik: you won't...and that's why I want this promise from you!

Aanya: But!

Kartik: Please Anu!

Aanya: Ok I promise you!

Flashback ends.

Aanya: Why Kartik why you left me! You know that I can't live with you but still you did. I also want to come to you but I can't because of your stupid promise! I want to be with you...with the love of my life! The happiest day of my life turned into the worst! Why you left me alone here! First mom dad did and now you too. I am only ALIVE FOR YOU.

Aanya said while crying badly and looking towards the sky. She remembered the day of their wedding.

Flashback

Aanya and Kartik were talking on call.

Aanya: I can't wait anymore Kartik! Today is our wedding I can't believe this!

Kartik: Mee too... Now you will be officially mine!

Aanya: Yeahh! Now I am going to be ready! Come soon I can't wait!

Aanya got ready for the wedding. Her cousin sisters helped her to be ready for the wedding. She was sitting in her room and waiting for the baarat and Kartik to come.

Till then, one of her cousin sister came to her room, running.

- Anu dii, jiju...
She started crying.

Aanya got panicked seeing her.

Aanya: Jiju kya?? Payal say jiju what??

Payal: Jiju met with an accident! A truck hit his car when he was coming here and he.. he's no more.

Aanya fell down on the floor. Payal sat beside her and hugged her.

Aanya: No this can't happen! No Kartik can't leave me like this. No

Aanya cried her heart out. Payal was trying to console her but she was not successful. Aanya started throwing all the ornaments she was wearing.

Aanya: Mr. Kartik Malhotra You Left Me Alone!
