(Skylar's POV)
After a few more hours of driving up a mountain, The sun started to go down so It was getting darker by the minute.

I haven't moved from my spot on Seth's lap since we got back in the car. Every move I made to get off, his arms tightened around my waist and he nuzzled his face deeper into my neck. Finally, I gave into the addicting feeling of his touch and continuously ran my fingers through his soft hair.

"We are here Jack Bruno." Sarah said but when I looked around we were literally in the middle of no where.

"Here? There's nothing here" Jack said but soon a cabin came into view.

When we pulled up in front of the cabin, I got a good look at it. It look old, rusty and broken down. Like not even a soul has been here for years. It also has a creepy feeling around it. As if it's something you only see in a horror movie.

I can already hear the imaginary audience telling us not to go in there or we'll die.

"Someone's expecting you two right? Doesn't look like anyone's home" Jack Asked "Will they be too happy about your new friend?"

"Don't worry Jack Bruno, we will soon be reunited with relatives." Sarah said before smiling at me "And they will be most joyous that we had brought our new friend."

"OK seven hundred and twenty dollars and fifty cents." started Jack once the car came to a complete stop. Sarah and Seth hurried to unbuckled their seat belt. Sarah stepped out of the car then quickly grabbed my hand, guiding me out. "But after everything that went down today, how about I knock off 25% and I also-"

He got cut off by Seth placing the large amount of cash in his hand before hurrying out of the car. Seth grabbed my hand as Sarah jogged ahead of us. Seth pulled us behind her as he, again, pulled out that strange device.

When we stepped in, it's looked like the whole place was hit by a hurricane. Everything was either thrown upside down or broken.

"What happened here? Everything looked so-" I clung onto Seth at the sound of heavy foot steps and the wood creaking was heard. Seth, in turn, wrapped his arms around Sarah and I and pulled us behind a couch that was flipped over.

"It appears they had arrived at this location before us" whispered Sarah "But hopefully they had no success in acquiring what we had came for."

"I am locating the device right now" whispered Seth

"What exactly are we here for?" I asked

"We were sent here to collect a device our parents had left here many years ago. This device is merely a tool to solve our problems" said Sarah

I nod, slight too scared to ask anything else.

Suddenly to sound of glass breaking caused me to jump closer into Seth's side. I looked around frantically, preparing myself for a fight. Scenes from my training ran through my mind.

I jumped slightly when an arm wrapped around my shoulder then froze when lips were placed on my forehead, leaving a tingling sensation.

"Everything will be fine love" Seth said before going back to locating the device but those five words surprisingly calmed me. "I will not let anything happen to us."

I turned slightly to snuggle deeper in his side as I heard the sound of the cab driver coming in.

"Hello!" called Jack. I could hear the sound of him grabbing something before slowly started walking towards us.

He stepped beside the couch with a wooden chair leg in his and without being aware of where we are. Seth grabbed his hand but Jack swung the chair leg at him which went through both of us, hitting the couch.

Seeing this confirms what I had already suspected, these two are not normal. Either government experiments or extra terrestrial beings. I don't care which, what I want to know is how exactly does that involve me?

"What just happened?" asked Jack but Seth quickly quieted him.

"Jack Bruno you should not have endanger your life by following us." said Sarah

"What kind of trouble are you two in?" Jack asked

"I suggest you turn back to your vechicle. You services are no longer aquired" Seth said coldly

"Seth, he is just trying to help" said Sarah

"We do not need his help." Seth said angrily but I can clearly see the fear in his eye. "Someone has already been here looking for it. We simply can't trust any of them, just the three of us Sarah."

Sarah looked back and forth between the two of us for a few seconds before turning her attention to Jack.

"We appreciate your efforts to assist us Jack Bruno but my brother is right, we can involve you no further." said Sarah as Seth's device started beeping.

"I've found it. Let's go. This way" Seth said as he gentle grabbed my hand and started pulling me deeping in the house while Sarah followed close behind and I kind of have a feeling that Jack would follow us. "Quickly Sarah."

He lead us to a dirty white fridge. When Seth opened it and there was no surprise that it turned out to be empty. He then proceeded to place his strange device on the side of it before pressing a button which caused it to start loading.

"What's that?' Jack asked

Once it was finished, I was shocked to see the interior of the fridge sliding backwards to reveal a secret staircase.

Seth looked at Sarah who nod at him, signaling him to proceed.

Seth was the first to step in but not before taking off the strange device. He pulled at my hand, silently telling me to follow while using his thumb to rub the back of my hand in comfort.

I had to follow now. This has already peaked my curiosity. Now understand all those people in horror movies. Besides. I already agreed to this.

I hurried to stick close to him as possible. Sarah came in after me while Jack lagged behind a little, still in shook at the weird fridge.

You could see it on his face that he was debating internally whether or not to follow us any further but in the end, he followed us anyway.

I'm guessing his conscience would have killed him if he just left three teenagers in an abandoned cabin alone. At least there are some good people out there.

The stairs lead to a cellar which had old bottles of rum on the shelfs. Seth placed the device on the wall next to a shelf then pressed the button causing it to load again.

In a few seconds, the shelf moved backwards to reveal a secret tunnel. There was a bright glowing light. Unknown what was it's source but It dimly lit the tunnel.

As we walked deeper in the tunnel, it was not secret that it lead deeper underground. Soon we came to a large garden like area with strange glowing substances hanging from the wall but none the less, it was beautiful.
