(3p POV)
"Those guys who were chasing us, they were the same ones from the highway right?" Jack asked them.

"Yes" Sarah answered

"It is vital that you take us to their base of operations." Seth said, crackling Skyler's sleeping form.

After a while of driving, the excitement and exhaustion of their adventure had finally caught up to her body. She had fell asleep on Seth's shoulder but he took it as a chance to hold his beloved wife and mate.

"You want me to take you to the guys who are trying to kill you?" Jack look at him through the rear view mirror as if he was crazy. "Let me explain how we do things here on earth, the people who want you dead, you avoid. That way you... stay alive, make sense?"

"No one on your planet will stay alive if we don't get back to our planet." Seth said, glaring at him. "And in order to return, we need our ship. Those men who are trying to kill us have stolen our ship, make sense?"

Jack turned briefly to look at Seth who had mocked him.

"Where do you suggest we begin our search?" Sarah asked

"I don't suggest we being searching at all, I do suggest we go back to Vegas and I let you off right were you got on." Jack said to her before looking at the dog who whimpered. "You too."

"It's just as I thought. No human is going to help us Sarah. Especially not this human." Seth started, glaring angrily at Jake.

"Hey, easy on the human bashing some of my best friends just so happen to be humans." Jack said before his eyes caught Skyler snuggling sound asleep. "And you know for someone who's supposedly bashing humans, isn't your little girlfriend their human?"

Seth's eyes soften at the mention of his mate. Looking at his beloved, he ran his hand through her hair before running his hand down her cheek while allowing his hand to faze though her face and down to her neck.

"No not entirely." He muttered to himself only being heard by his sister, feeling the steady beating of her very human heart yet the inhumane structure of her veins flowing through his hand which shocked and soothed him at the same time.

"And even if I were to help you, I wouldn't know where to begin." He stuttered out "I don't know anything about UFOs or aliens or.."

After running through his thoughts and memories, Sarah interrupted him in his ranting of excuses, "Who is doctor Alex Freedman?"

At her question, Jack's remembered the woman he had picked up from the airport to the convention center yesterday. She had even told him she would be there today, giving a lecture. "She is actually someone who can help you and for the record," He turned briefly toward Seth. "She happens to be human."

(Skyler's POV)
We had been driving all night, through the desert. I had woken up feeling the comfort of Seth's arms cradling me in his lap. The pleasant and calming feeling I got was too amazing to move.

Seth arms tightened around me as I felt him nuzzling his face into my hair. Knowing I was awake, he softly whispered, "We are going to need to consummate as soon as possible."

I could feel my face heat up in embarrassment even though I know Jack couldn't hear us, it was undeniably true that his sister could but that fact was unavoidable.

"I know" I snuggled closer to him as possible. "But with us running from agents, the siphen and getting your ship, when are we gonna find time to do it?"

"I'm not sure but it has to be soon." He said

She pulled back and look at him worriedly, "How soon?"

He took a deep breath of her scent before looking at her with bright golden eyes and said, "Very soon."

I was about to ask him about his eyes when I was interrupted by the sound of growling from the passenger front seat.

"Sarah?" Jack asked without taking his eyes off the road even though there was an angry dog growling at him from the seat beside him.

"He would appreciate you pulling over so he could relive himself." She translated

"Well we don't have time for that. He should have went before we left Stony Creek." Jack said

"He is impleased with your attitude" She said

"Really? Is that the way he feels? Well you remind him that I'm a man and he's a dog." He turned to briefly smile mockingly at Junkyard. "And I'm not about to have this or any conversation with a dog. So my answer is still no."

"You do realize that as a dog." I gave Jack back his mocking smile, unfortunately sliding out of Seth's tight embrace to the sit next to him, leaning forward. "He will have no problem reliving himself in his seat. " To demonstrate my point, Jack's eyes widen when Junkyard lift his back leg in his direction. "Do you really want for all of us to smell that all the way back to Vegas in the early morning desert hot sun?"

"Fine" He sighed in defeat before pulling over.

Jack and Sarah stepped out while watching Junkyard run off into the distance.

"Hey! Don't go out too far and hurry up!" Jack called out.

Pulling me backing into his arms awaiting arms,"I know you are scared." Seth said,

"You're a mind reader too." I joked halfheartedly while gladly snuggling back into my place.

"No, you are my mate and wife. I am suppose to know these things." A pleasurable sensation burnt as he kissed my forehead. "I know that the thought of our consummation scares you even though you agreed to it."

I sighed knowing that he's right. I looked him in the eye as I ran my fingers through his surprisingly soft hair, "Just because I'm scared, It doesn't mean I don't want to do this. I would have been grateful of we waited longer to do this but..." I placed my forehead on his, watching as his eyes glowed faintly gold. "I can't ignore the intense feelings I have for you to not agree to this. I love it and I don't want it to end."

"Even though you are aware of what will happen?" He slowly leaned foreword allowing his lip to light brush against mine while his hand caressed my flat stomach. "We'll have to think about them too."

"Especially them and even though I am scare and on the run for our lives from both human and extraterestrial." I relunctanly pulled back, placing both my hand over his. "I don't know why but I'm kinda glad I'm doing this wih you."

"We will get out of here and we'll get home." Seth declared seriously as his glowing gold eyes flared as if they were raging flames. "I will protect you both."

I giggled, snuggling back into his chest, "I'm sure your glowing gold eyes will scare anyone off."

"What are you talking about?"
