(Skyler's POV)
"Maria!" I yelled, listening to my voice echo through out the house as I looked in the now half empty refrigerator.

Two minutes later, Maria, my only maid stood at the door way of the kitchen with towels in her arms.

Maria is 38 and was a little skeptical at first about working for someone way younger than her but she's now like a mother to me.

"Yes miss" she asked

I walked pass her, motioning her to follow.

"As you know, my newest game just went on the market, I already sent two others game to my team a weeks ago and I'm waiting for a few months to sent them the new game I finished this morning" I started as I walked into my room and went straight into my walk in closet to pick out some clothes. "I have a lot of free time on my hands so I'll be helping you a lot around here." Once I found what I wanted to wear, I pulled on my blue jeans pants, a white sleeveless shirt with my turquoise wide neck sweater over it alone with my silver watch and bag with my turquoise sneakers (pic). "I'll be going out to get some more groceries. If I don't do it now, I might not remember or be able to later." I walked passed her, knowing she will follow, exiting my room towards the front entrance. "I'll also be walking there so I can get some inspiration for my next game. I might be a little late for dinner."

"But miss," She started, coming in front of me to block me from the door with her hands on her hips, giving me her caring mother look. "You know how you can get when you find something that inspirers you."

Last time I left early in the morning saying I was going out for inspiration, I found it in an old building that was scheduled to be torn down the next day but I didn't realize how long I stood there starring at the building until the building was being torn down and a cop found me and took me straight home. Apparently, since I didn't bring my phone with me, Maria freaked out and called the cops who form a search team to look for me since Maria offered them a couple millions of dollars.

"I promise you, Maria" I wrapped my arms around her as she pulled me into a tight hug "I have my phone in my bag this time and I'll call you if I decide to stay late."

I pulled away from her and walked out the door, starting to speed walk out of the gate.

"Just be careful!" She called from the door. "Remember your self defense lessons! Stay away from strangers!"

"See ya later Maria" I was going to wish I had listened to her about the last part.

(2 Hours later)

I turning a corner and I could finally see the grocery store in the distance.

I would have gotten here an hour and a half ago if I hadn't found so many things that inspires me. That's what happens when you live in a city like Vegas. Something exciting happens everyday. From small robberies to wedding fights.

As I walked, something caught my eye. A dress in a store window, glistens as the early morning sun hits the glass at the right angle. The sparkly design could be great as a background for a next game I have in mind.

I stopped to admire the dress when someone crashed into me from behind. I closed my eyes on instinct, waiting for the pain but it didn't hurt as much as I thought it would. All I felt was gentle arms wrapping around me before our bodies jerked slightly from impact.

I opened my eyes only to see that I was looking into a sparkling pair of dark green eyes.

The way the sun glistened in his eyes, showing a slightly lighter green, moved something inside of me greatly. My heart beat increased as if it was ready to just out of my chest at any moment.

Suddenly a burning sensation came to my right wrist causing me to jerk upwards into a sitting position, putting slight distance between us while clenching onto it.

"Seth" gasped a girl who slightly resembles the boy. She placed her hand on his shoulder as he clenched on the area over his heart.

He looked up at her as if they were having some silent conversation.

"I am aware of that Sarah" He said to her before turning to look at me as if I was the most interesting thing ever. He moved towards me, gentle grabbed both my arms, pulling me to my feet.

The burning sensation quickly faded into one of pleasure. When I looked down at my left wrist, I was shocked to see, a weird tattoo.

Where in the heck did this come from!?

"Are you Alright? Are you in need of any medical attention" He asked as his eyes run over my face and neck in concern as I got lost in his dazzling eye.

"Um no" I pulled my arms out of his grasp, trying to get myself to think straight only for him to wrap his arms around my waist, pulling me closer. "I I'm f fine"

"That is most pleasing to hear" He said while giving me a heart throbbing smile. "My name is Seth and this is my sister Sarah" He pointed to the girl who was smiling at me brightly. "We are in need of your assistance"

I see now. I should have known. Guys like him only act this way to girls like me unless they want something.

At that thought, I pulled myself out of his grasp before folding my arms and narrowing my eyes at him while desperately trying to ignore the weird burning sensation that had returned.

"I don't think someone like me can help you. I highly suggest you find someone else" I said angrily before turning around, not even wanting to buy groceries anymore.

The first few steps I took away from them, my heart was like a rock weighing me down and the new tattoo burned furiously but I choose to ignore them out of anger.

"We do not wish to merely use you, Skyler Rodriguez!" Sarah yelled

I turn around in shock only to see her smiling at me while Seth clenched the area over his heart again while looking at me worriedly.

"How do you know my name? I didn't-" I started

"All your questions will be answered if you would assist us" she said as she and her brother came closer to me. "We require transportation immediately"

"Fine" I turned my back to them and started walk to the area full of taxi cabs I had passed. I had stopped there because it had given me some inspiration on a new racing games. "Follow me. There's a cab lot just a few blocks this way."

As we walked, Seth grabbed my hand firmly so I won't pull away but I said nothing since the burning had stopped.

I don't know what is happening but one thing's sure is that these two are not normal.

I was unaware that I had dropped my purse with a important item.

My phone.
