I awoke feeling like utter shit!

My mind was hurting so bad that I thought my head would splatter at any moment. My body felt exhausted, I don't exactly know why. In general, pretty shit; just like everything else in life.

Anyways, I turned to my right and saw my bedside table.

I picked up my phone and turned on the screen.

"Fuck!" I said.

The screen caused my eyes to temporarily make me look like I was about to have a serious sneeze.

I blinked a few times and turned the screens brightness to the lowest it can be at.

I looked at my messages and saw some from Xavier, so I opened them:

Xavier:
Hey Ali, are you okay?

Xavier:
I know it's late and your probably sleeping but I really need to know if your okay.

Xavier:
Ali, you scared me. Please talk

Xavier:
Okay, you should be up by now. So, are you okay?

Xavier:
Ali class has started, where r u?????

Xavier:
I'm freaking out! Where are u?!

Xavier:
Stop ignoring me Ali! Tell me where are you.

Xavier:
If something had happened to you, I don't think I would be able to cope.

Then a new message popped up from Xavier:

Xavier:
Dw, I know where you are.

I decided to text back:

Alicia:
Sorry for being radio silent 😔

Xavier:
It's okay, at least I know for sure that your okay.

Alicia:
And how would you know for sure?

Xavier:
You make great faces when you turn your phone on in the late evening 😂

Alicia:
Anyone would be able to guess that

Xavier:
Maybe. But would they know about the picture of the bald hair dude on your bedside table.

I turned and looked at the photo of my dad.

Alicia:
Okay, so where are you?

Xavier:
Look over to the window.

I looked over to the window and saw a figure standing amongst the shadows.

Alicia:
I can see you.

Xavier:
Ik

"Come out from the corner." I said.

I put my flashlight on my phone and laid it on the bed.

I looked over to the corner again and saw Xavier emerge from the shadows. 

"You scared me." He said with sincerity flurrying through his eyes. 

He came closer to my bed, stopping just inches from my bed frame.

"I'm okay." I said whilst suddenly holding my head.

I looked up to see Xavier's eyes full of worry, "here." He said whilst handing me some water and a tablet.

I gratefully took them both and swallowed the tablet with the water.

After a second of sitting in silence; Xavier spoke, "what happened?" He asked.

I remembered quite a bit; which I do wish I could have not remembered. I might not know why my body aches but I do know what happened before I passed out.

The faces were still as hazy.

"A lot happened." I simply said.

"Like what?" Xavier asked curiously.

"Well stuff that shouldn't have happened." I continued.

Xavier now had a face full of worry and sat down on my bed, next to me.

"Like what?" He repeated.

"I went to a club." I said.

"What?!" Xavier said astounded.

"I know I shouldn't have but Zac insisted." I explained.

"Wait, the Zak from school?" He asked.

I chuckled a bit, "obviously not! Zac is the person who helped me pick out my dress." I explained.

Xavier then let out a huff, "oh, so people just go out with people they just meet whilst shopping." He said sarcastically.

"No, I went to have some fun and forget about my life for once." I said.

"Why would you want to forget about your life?" Xavier asked.

"Well, my life is utter shit. Everything I have, gets taken away from me and it just fucking sucks!" I sighed.

Xavier seemed taken aback by my comment, "but you still have me, Luke, lily and Joshua." He tried to reassure.

The only reason I say 'tried' is because I know that he wasn't right.

"Your wrong." I whispered.

"And why would that be?" Xavier asked.

"Me and Luke fell out as well." I said.

"What?! When?" Xavier asked astounded.

"When Zac showed up, Luke became very upset and stormed off on me. Although I don't blame him, I would leave me too." I said whilst looking down to my hands.

Xavier's hand engulfed mine, "don't say that."

"But it's true." I whispered out, my eyes still glued to my hands.

"No it's not." Xavier said.

I was about to comment but my phone started to ring.

I picked up the phone without checking the caller ID, "hello." I said.

"How does it feel to suck off my boyfriends face? Slut!" Josie screeched out.

"What?!" I said shocked.

"I said, how does it feel to kiss MY boyfriend?!" She continued to screech.

"I don't know what your talking about." I said confused.

"That's complete bullshit! You made out with him in the club, whore!"

My mind came to realisation. No wonder the guy I was kissing seemed familiar; that's because he was ZAK!

"I'm sorry." I whispered and then hung up.

Tears now rolling down my face.

I then felt two strong arms pull me into a loving hug.

"What's wrong?" Xavier whispered into my hair.

I just cried.

"Shhh. It's okay." Xavier whispered.

He rubbed soothing circles on my body, a way of trying to calm me down.

After a while it worked and I calmed down.

My cries turning into sniffles.

I felt Xavier's arms pull away from me and hold my shoulders.

"What happened?" He whispered.

I looked down to my hands, "when I went to the club, I drunk a lot and started to dance. I was so carefree but it went too far." I paused so I could recoil the memories, "I had become so drunk that I couldn't distinguish any faces and I had  no control over my body. A guy then started talking to me and then we just started to make out. Then someone ripped him off of me, leading me to drink some drugged drink; which then caused me to make out with some other person and then boom, lights out." I said.

I looked up to Xavier, "I completely understand if you hate me and I understand if you want to leave." I said.

But what Xavier did shocked me.

He didn't walk away like everyone else.

He sat there and hugged me.

He had wrapped his arms tightly around me and hugged me.

And tears started to slip from my eyes.

I grabbed ahold of him and cried.

Finally, someone didn't run away.

Someone actually stayed.
