Chapter 1 "Waking Up"
The last thing I remember was seeing Alice run by the hallway as the elevator doors opened up. I then heard a gun go off, and felt a excruciating pain in my head. Then everything went black. Thousands of questions ran threw my head. How was Alice alive? Didn't I kill her? What was she doing at the club? These questions swarmed through my head as I was thrown into darkness, faintly hearing footsteps coming towards me. I wanted to grab my gun, or run, anything, but my body didn't move. My conscious was fading, and I started to feel myself being lifted onto something. Then all went silent. I don't remember anything after that, and my memories are still a bit fuzzy. I then started to hear what sounded like people screaming, fixed in with the sound of gunshots. Everything then went quiet, besides the muffled talk I was hearing. I heard them say my name, which filled me with even more questions. How do they know my name? Who are they. Is that Mary Ann? Is that Alice? For the love of God please don't let it be Hatter. I then felt my body being dragged, then lifted into a car, I think. Everything went silent again, and then I realized something. My throat and mouth felt wet, and something that tasted similar to water stayed in my mouth. It was as if someone had forced something down my throat. I then felt like I was being lifted again, and I heard grunts as well. I then heard a man chuckled and say, "This guy needs to lay off a few pounds." I'm gonna have to give that guy a thing or two for that. Everything then went silent again, me wondering why I couldn't hear or feel anything while it was obvious men were around. I then suddenly felt something cold and odd tasting being forced down my throat, making me gag. I started coughing a lot, sitting up and grabbing my throat. I then realized I could now move, hear, and feel my surroundings. I then heard the same man that made that remark about me laugh, and call out to someone. "Hey, Boss, sleeping beauty's awake now!" he said, making me open my eyes to get a good look at the annoying man. As I opened my eyes, I realized I wasn't in a place I knew, nor did I know the people around me. It looked like a warehouse of some kind, the walls of it looking a bit cracked. The bed I was now on looked like one you would see in a hospital, white sheets, metal railings, the whole thing. I then turned my attention to the people in front of me, one of them having a wide smirk on his face. His spikey, messy, blond hair looked like he had rolled around like a dog for hours, and he had pointed ears. Goggles were attached to his head, and two brown feathers were behind his right ear. I don't why he had a small braid below his right ear, but it wasn't any of my business. He had a small scar on the side of his mouth, which was formed into a wide smirk. His teeth were slightly pointed, reminding me of that of a dog. He had three black spiked tatoos, one pair each on the sides of his face. His dark green eyes were filled with mischief, so I knew he'd be annoying, and a waste of my time. He had closed that resembled that of pirate, so I knew I was probably right about him being a waste of my time. I couldn't see the other person who was with him, as he was in a corner covered by darkness. "Sup, sleeping beauty?" the man chuckled, still wearing that smirk that I knew I would grow to hate if I stayed any longer. "Where the hell am I?" I asked, not really caring about what the guy had to say. "You're in our warehouse, and you aren't going anywhere anytime soon, Rabbit." the man snickered. I'd had it with the guy, so I jumped off the bed, and leaped at him. Once I had him pinned, I demanded to know where I was. The man laughed a laugh that made me realize that I wasn't going to get anywhere with this. I decided I was just knock him out, and find my way out myself. That's when someone kicked me in side, hard. I growled once I felt the pain hit me, rolling off of the guy from the force of the kick. "I'd suggest you behave yourself, Rabbit." a female voice sneered, pulling a handgun out from her pocket. "I had the courtesy to bring you back, so you best be obedient." I stood my ground, not wanting to get my brains blown out. I looked up at the woman who was talking, and glared at her. "What do you mean you 'had the courtesy to bring me back?'" I asked, holding my soon-to-be bruised side. "You were dead, Rabbit." the woman replied, making my mouth go slightly agap. "I brought you back from your cold grave, and now your going to help me. That is, unless you liked being dead, and want another bullet in your head?"
