"What do you mean, don't know how?" I asked angrily.

"Well, you could get a healing potion, but those are expensive like I said before."

"What's going to happen to me?" I asked.

"The worst is that you're going to turn into what you just saw." Eclipse asked.

"Tch." I said, I sat down,"How bad is the infection?"

"The part where it cut you is turning black and the infection is spreading fast." Eclipse said.

"Great." I said,"Why'd that thing run anyway?"

"There's something near that he's afraid of." Eclipse answered. I silenced and so did the cat. I looked around and everything seemed normal. Too normal to be true. I whipped my head around and stared at the trees and bushes that were in that direction.

"Just hurry up and come out already!" I yelled obviously ticked with my current situation. There was some rustling and the boy from before walked out. He looked at me with the same blank expression he had when I first met him. He had very pale skin and stood up straight and tall. His bangs were long and covered those sharp, green eyes, but you could still see them peeking through. He wore a long black trench coat with the collar up and dark jeans. We stared at each other for a few seconds, but I broke it up.

"What do you want?" I asked.

"Nothing, really." he said. He held out his hand and another red bottle appeared, he waved it around,"Do you want this?" I tensed and stared at it.

"...Maybe." I said. He tossed it to me and I frowned,"What's the catch?"

"What do you mean?" he asked.

"You helped me out twice, I can't help but think that there's something that you want from me?" I asked.

"I simply want to.... get to know you better." he said pausing.

"Why?" I asked.

"Because you and I are similar." he answered. I glared at him and drank the rest of the potion. I could feel the wound on my cheek close up and I sighed feeling satisfied. The bottle disappeared in a glitter of light.

"You don't know anything about what kind of things I've been through. How could you and I be similar?" I said. He stared at me, there was another glow and a knife appeared in his right hand, I moved back and he held up his hands in defense.

"I'm not going to do anything to you." he said. He expanded his left hand and made a small cut on his palm. He sent the knife away and he looked at the blood that pooled in his hand. His head dropped down in a familiar way and within a few seconds, he opened them. His eyes were bright red and he smiled widely. He shoved his hands into his pockets and bent down so his face was directly in front of mine.

"Yo, shorty, wanna play?" he said smirking. His aura was different from the timid guy from before, a lot wilder and dangerous. He ran a hand through his hair making it slightly messy and revealed piercings on his ears.

"You better shut your mouth, before I shut it up for you." I said sharply. I crossed my arms and tilted my head, shooting daggers out of my eyes.

"You're a feisty one aren't you, shorty?" he taunted and laughed. I clenched my teeth, fighting the urge to punch him clean in the mouth.

"So you have different sides to you, too?" I asked. He nodded.

"Pleased to meet cha, Princess, I'm Havoc. The guy from before is Hunter." he said sarcastically bowing.

"My name is Malice." I sneered,"But the one in charge is Alice." Havoc blinked and his eyes turned back to the usual gray, returning back to Hunter. His playful smile turned back to his poker face and he fixed his hair.

"You understand now?" he said.

"You remember what happens with your other side?" I asked.

"Don't you?" Hunter asked.

"Every time Alice returns, she doesn't remember anything that happens after I take over." I said. Hunter nodded slowly.

"Then we have to explain who I am to her again?" he said. I nodded.

"Don't worry, I'll cover it for you." I said reassuringly. He nodded and stared at the top of my head.

"I've been wondering for a while now, but is your cat okay?" he asked.

"Why wouldn't I be?" Eclipse said for the first time,"I just wanted to silently observe this mysterious figure whom I've met."

"I see, you've been staring at me for a while so..." Hunter trailed off.

"Well, I think I should let Alice come back and I'll explain it to her." I said.

"Sounds good." he said. I closed my eyes and I drifted away.

I woke up finding myself staring face to face with the guy I saw in my dream. I jumped back and looked around.

"Who are you?" I asked suspiciously,"What's going on?"

It's okay Alice... Let me explain.

"So you're telling me that he's on our side?" I asked. Eclipse who moved back to my shoulder nodded her head,"And you're telling me that he has a split personality like me?" The guy, Hunter, nodded.

"Anything else you would like to ask?" Eclipse asked.

"I think I got it." I said staring at Hunter,"Now what?"

"I have a request to make." Hunter said. I stared at him questionably.

"What kind of request?" I asked.

"I want to defeat the Queen, but in order to, I need your strength." he said.

"I don't wish to have anything to do with the Queen." I said rubbing my left arm,"Sorry to disappoint you."

"It's fine... until you feel like you're ready, then call me." Hunter said. He motioned me to come over and I walked slowly to his side. He swiped for his info screen, so I did the same and he dragged his name into my contacts and I did the same for his. Hunter dismissed his screen and he did a small wave as he walked off,"See you around, Alice. Be careful out there." He disappeared into the woods leaving me and Eclipse by ourselves.

"So... do you know the way out?" I asked. Eclipse nodded.

"Just keep walking on the path and we'll eventually get out of here." she said. I went back to the path and started walking straight. I didn't have any more encounters with any creatures which Eclipse thought was strange.

We made it out safe and alive and I kept walking to get far from the woods. I stopped at a rural area and I sat down for a break.

"I think I should go for now, Eclipse." I said,"I got a lot of homework to do and I have to deal with my parents." Eclipse nodded understanding.

"Go right ahead." she said. I pulled out the pendant and it shimmered. It opened up the portal and I slowly walked through. I appeared in my room as per usual. The house was quiet and I sat on my bed. I did the rest of my homework and then peeked out of my room. No one was in sight. I sneaked out and went to the fridge.

I'm going out for a bit. Did you decide anything yet?

I ignored the note and I grabbed a small snack from the fridge. I closed the door and I turned to walk back to my room, but my dad was standing in the doorway. I tensed up and we stared at each other in silence. My dad looked tired and troubled. He sighed and he walked passed me without saying a word. It was like I never existed. I turned around and saw that he was roaming the fridge. I stayed watching him, wanting to say something, but I didn't. I did what I always did when I was conflicted and bit the inside of my cheek. I turned back and headed to my room. I closed the door behind me and began munching on my snack. After I was finished, I went on my laptop and lazed on my bed until night fell. I took a shower and went to bed.

The next morning, my daily routine was set into motion. I walked to school like everyday, went to my locker and went to class. I started doodling on my notebooks and I didn't hear any strange whispering noises that called out my name for today.

"Good morning, class!" the teacher called cheerfully,"We got a new student today." Oh boy, I thought sarcastically. I didn't bother looking up and proceeded to doodle. I could hear many students whispering around me.

"He looks cool."

"I think he looks pretty shady to me."

"I wonder where he got that pendant." I stopped doodling as soon as I heard the word pendant. I slowly looked up and guess who I saw? You got it! It was Hunter!
