"Isn't it so much better compared to last year's?"
"Yeah, it's amazing how much they can change over the summer."
"This is why I love Thursdays."
We were, of course, discussing cafeteria sushi.
"I mean, it's really-"
"Tiny."
"Another one? They're getting really frequent."
"Yeah, it's weird." I watched my sushi cautiously. It was about the size of a thumbnail.
"D'you want me to walk you to the nurse?"
"Nah, it's fine. She won't really care anyway."
"I really thing you should, though. I'm getting worried. If this isn't normal for you... It was already supposed to fade out a few years ago. Are you sure you're okay?"
"What do you have to be worried about? I'm fine. Finety-fine fine fine."
"But I-"
"Jaime. Drop it."
He looked at his food. "So what do you think they changed? About the sushi."
I smiled. "Hmm... Maybe they didn't leave it out on a counter for several days?"
"That's... probably it."

So how 'bout that sushi, huh?
You don't care, do you. You're a book.
Anyways, I'm really worried about Cameron. Her episodes are getting worse, and she told me they're not even supposed to be happening. Usually AWS fizzles out in the pre-teens.
I don't want to do anything if she doesn't want me to, but I might do a bit of research at least to find out about the condition and stuff.
Moving on from that, Olivia and I are having our three-month anniversary next week. I'm pretty excited. I've asked Cameron for advice on girls and she gave me the perfect gift idea.
I'm making her a scrapbook(my idea) of stuff she's into and that we've done together, and I'm buying her a build-a-bear(Cameron's idea) with our names on it. She has a thing for stuffed animals. It's cute.
Time for English. I don't like it much, but at least Cameron's there.

"Blah blah blah, grammar grammar grammar. We're in freaking high school! We don't need to re-learn pronouns!"
"Some of these people do," Jaime pointed out, nodding towards Austin.
"Ugh. Don't even remind me of his existence."
"He's gotta be, like, the third dumbest kid in our grade."
"Why are we still discussing him?"
"I dunno. Chill."
I turned away, ignoring him for the rest of the lesson. Instead of him, I opted to talk to the only other person in the school who would tolerate me(and no, not myself); Addie.
"Hey Addie. Sorry I've been busy lately, what's up?"
"Not much, and no problem. I've been pretty busy myself. Want to go grab lunch some time? What're you doing tomorrow?"
Tomorrow was Saturday. Jaime and I had made plans to go see a movie with his sister.
"I think I'm free. Does twelve work okay? We can meet at the mall."
"Sounds good to me! See you!"
"Bye!"
Class was dismissed. I walked out with Addie.
