~Timeskip to Summer Vacation~
Junior year ended in a pretty crappy way, after that fatal encounter with Liam, Seraphina hasn't had any confrontation with him other than seeing him as she did errands. She had been hanging out with Alyssa and Alexzander for quite some time now. Their friendship has gradually grown stronger and became what it once was. Childhood friends, Alexzander and Seraphina.

Seraphina's POV
I wake up to the sound of birds chirping and my doorbell going off. I try to fix my mop of hair and put a bra on before I go to the door. As I open the door I rub my eyes and wipe the drool off of my cheek. There standing on my porch is Alexzander with a dazed expression on his face.

"I thought you would never answer", he says to me.

"What do you want, this better be good if you had to wake me from the beauty sleep I so need", I respond jokingly.

"I wanted to take you somewhere", He says hopefully.

"At 10 in the morning?"

"Yes. Will you go or will you not"

"Fine. Come inside and make yourself at home, I need to get ready", I sigh as I let him inside and go to my room.

Alexzander's POV
I roam around the familiar place, everything was the same since we were little. I gaze at the t.v. remembering the winter days where Seraphina and I would be curled up in blankets watching Power Rangers and her mom yelling at us a little while later because we would be reenacting scenes from the show. I glance at the couch thinking back to the forts we made to hide from her big brother after we took his sketchbook to draw in. I look at the familiar stain on the floor when Seraphina accidentally hit me in the nose in 7th grade and I was bleeding everywhere. I reminisce the old moments we had together, the childhood I cherished. Seraphina's family was my family when my real family wasn't there.

As soon as I decide to sit down, I hear Seraphina's elephant footsteps coming down the stairs, I would always call her little elephant when we were younger because she walked so loud and you could hear her coming from a mile away.

"I'm about ready to go", She says as she grabs her beaten up sneakers from the floor lining the front door.

Third Person POV
Seraphina and Alexzander head to the direction of their old school.

"Why are you taking me here?", Seraphina asks Alexzander with a puzzled expression.

"This is the place where our friendship blossomed and was tested, remember when I didn't like you but your mom had to babysit me anyway, elementary school was where our friendship truly began", Alexzander explains.

"Yeah, but why bring me here now", Seraphina asks even more puzzled than before.

"They're knocking the building down and taking out the playground to make room for a parking lot and mall, all the kids who go here are going to have to go to new schools and the teacher are going to be unemployed. They're tearing everything down tomorrow, I wanted the last time that I saw it to be with you", Alexzander says as the slight pink of embarrassment raises up in his cheeks.

"Hey, cheer up why don't you, I'll race you to the swings?", Seraphina states in an almost question as she shoves Alexzander's arm playfully before getting a head start to the playground.

Thinking that she will beat Alexzander in a race for the first time in her life, she looks back to see where he is only to be tackled to the ground by his tall figure.

The both fall to the ground with a loud bang, Seraphina laughing as she lays on her back and Alexzander smiling a toothy grin as he lays on his stomach, arm draped over Seraphina's stomach.

Alexzander props himself on his elbow before saying, "Just like old times, you can't beat me".

With that he jolts up and runs to a nearby swing, Seraphina chasing after him.

They swing in sync for awhile until Alexzander breaks the silence.

"I really miss these moments with you, it was a punch to the gut when I saw you and Liam together that day, but look at us now, me and you on the swing set like old times".

Seraphina just stares at him in awe.

"Hey, do you remember when we would climb that tree over there and both of our mom's would yell for us to get down from there but we would never listen because that was our favorite place to be?", Alexzander asks.

"Mhm"

"Well, let's go", Alexzander says as he grabs Seraphina's hand feeling this new sense of adventure.

Alexzander climbs up the tree and reaches out his hand for Seraphina to grab, she gladly accepts and they both sit down on the thick branch.

"That seemed so much harder when we were younger", Seraphina laughs.

"Yeah, it did. This was the greatest view we had, you can see everything from miles away, look, over there is my grandma's house", Alexzander says.

Seraphina can't help but stare at the side of his face, the way he smiles between sentences and the way his eyes light up every time he sees something familiar.

Alexzander turns his gaze away from the scenery to look at Seraphina for a second, to find her already looking dreamily at him. They lock eyes for a moment until his eyes wander down to her lips and then back to her eyes. Before he can fully revert his eyes back to hers, a pair of soft lips meet his. Up in the tree they share a passionate kiss that was wrapped in want and need. A moment that seemed only fit for movies. A moment that will test all boundaries, a moment that changes everything.
