Gray's POV

The next day is Saturday, a day of rest for me at my own apartment. I decided to live by myself independently and my parents approved of it of course.

I just wanted to take it easy today to ease my mind because of Lockser. She's been bugging me all week. Ugh. If only she wasn't a girl, I would've beaten her up.

Natsu called me today.

He said that we should meet each other at the Town Mall. He said that he wants me to help him find the right clothes for his date with Lucy. And I thought that girls are the ones who does that.

I was about to say no but he said that he would buy me snow cones and because I'm a cheap person, I said yes. And I'm here right now, in front of the Town Mall. I was wearing a black hoodie and black jeans, paired up with my favorite shoes, my black Nike. I didn't want to wear something to show off or something.

I've been here for almost 30 minutes already and he's still not here. Did he trick me about it? This is what I get for always saying yes whenever they would buy me snow cones.

Why am I so cheap?

But I'm feeling uneasy about this.

"I wonder where's Lucy-"

My heart nearly stopped when I heard that familiar voice. With my forehead wrinkled, I turned to my right and I was right.

It was her and she was wearing a black shirt with a knife as its design on the center, black skinny jeans and a dark blue denim jacket. She was also wearing black ankle-size boots as her shoes and a black choker on her neck. Eh... At least she has style. I thought she was the type who wears gangster clothes.

She raised her eyebrow at me and asked, "Gray... Fullbuster?"

"It's Gray-sempai." I corrected and it was my turn to ask her. "And what are you doing here?? Are you following me?? Look, I know I am handsome but that is going too far-"

She snapped and glared at me. "Don't get cocky, exhibitionist guy. I'm here for a reason and I would never follow someone who's a pervert and an exhibitionist."

My veins popped out of my forehead and said, "I am not. Tsk. Stop calling me that, Ms. Blue." I finally thought of a name.

She raised her eyebrow again with confusion. "Ms. Blue? What? Why is that my nickname??"

"Well, it's the color you showed me."

Her face steamed up in frustration and anger. She raised her fist at me and said, "Shut up! See?! That confirms that you're a pervert!"

"Well, you're a pervert as well for showing it to me!" I replied back and rolled my eyes at her.

"Why do you keep on bringing that up?!" She asked and walked nearer to me. She was 3 inches away and she's still glaring. "Answer my question, you dolt."

I have no answer in mind. I just say things randomly sometimes.

Her face turned back to normal and suddenly leaned towards me, making me back away from her. With confusion, I asked, "W-What are you doing?"

She blinked her eyes twice and stared at my black orbs. "... Do you like me, Fullbuster?"

I twitched my eyes at her conclusion. It was the most stupid conclusion. Ugh. "What the f? What made you think that I'd like someone like you?"

"Well sorry but I don't like perverts so stop it." She simply said and backed away from me. "And, you're not my type so stop. It's creeping me out. Besides, I like someone else."

"I don't like you!" I retorted at the misunderstanding she made. "And for your information, you're not my type as well."

"Hmph!" She said and closed her eyes and folded her arms across her tummy. "Anyway, I won't move away from this place because I'm still waiting for Lucy."

That caught my attention. I looked at her again and asked, "Wait a minute... Did she tell you that you should go with her today to pick clothes for her date with Natsu?"

Her eyes widened in terror at my question. "What...? How did you know?"

"Natsu said the same thing."

"Lucy?! What is this?! Why did you do this??" Juvia hissed at Lucy in her phone.

"Natsu, you better explain this." I sternly said and gripped on my phone in my ear.

We both decided to call the two because of our frustration and anger. So that's why I felt a little uneasy earlier when he said that. I had that feeling. I should've trusted that feeling.

"Nyahaha! Wait for the two of us there. Accompany Juvia for now, Gray." He said and laughed. "I was surprised when you suddenly called and said that I should explain something to you. I thought that I did something."

"You did something, flame brain." I gritted on my teeth. "And what are you thinking?? Why would you even leave me with this girl?? You know very well that we're like oil and water, fire and ice. You better go here now, okay?! And my snow cones."

"Okay fine! We're almost there, sheesh! Just wait a little more and don't worry, cheap person. You'll have your snow cones later. Good bye dude." He said and ended the call.

I sighed in frustration and I put my phone inside my pocket. I heard her clearing her throat and asked, "Excuse me but snow cones? Really?"

"It's none of your business." I simply said and gave her a look." Natsu said that they're almost here and we should wait for them."

"I know. I called Lucy too." She rolled her eyes off of me and plugged in her earphones in her phone and ears. "Don't talk for now. I'm listening to a good song."

I twitched my eyes at her. I was fairly irritated. Now that I think about it, it's been awhile since I was left with a girl who is not infatuated with me. I think that's great in its own way.

But it doesn't mean that I like being left alone with her.

A couple of minutes later, the two finally arrived and I almost vomited when I saw the two of them holding hands with each other as they approach us.

"Ew." Juvia and I said in unison.

She looked confusingly at me and I did the same thing. We both glared at each other. "Don't copy me. I can't believe you." She firmly said.

"I could say the same thing about you." I retorted.

"My, my. Fighting again?" Lucy asked at the two of us. "Oh come on. We should all be friends with each other and not fight at all."

Juvia folded her arms across her tummy and looked at her best friend, "This is your fault, Lucy. I shouldn't have come here. I could've done better things at my room."

"I know very well that you have nothing to do at your condo, Juvia." Lucy giggled.

Condo?

"Anyway, let's go and look for clothes and stuffs." Natsu suggested and held his girlfriend's hand tightly. "And Gray, your snow cones can wait later."

"Natsu, I'm feeling hungry. We should eat first before shopping." Lucy said. "And I bet, Gray-sempai and Juvia are feeling hungry as well."

"You can call me without -sempai, Lucy." I said and that made Juvia look at me mockingly.

"What the-? And why are you telling that to Lucy?? So it's okay for her to call you without it but it's not with me?" Juvia scoffed. "Ugh, boys like you are so..."

"Well, she's kind and you're not." I bluntly stated. "Got a problem with that?"

She furrowed her eyebrows at me while Lucy gasped. "... Juvia, are you jealous?!"

"What are you saying, Lucy? Jealous of this guy? No, never. Don't expect it." Juvia said and rolled her eyes at us.
