A few weeks have passed since the incident with the rogue, and life has returned to normal. From the next day, I started training with my mother...and I can say that they were tiring. And, as if training with her wasn't enough, dad - who didn't give up sleeping every night on the porch in the form of a wolf, trained me in the morning. They both told me: "You have to be prepared! To be able to handle yourself, regardless of the situation! You can't rely only on Leya!"

 Alpha took all measures to prevent such incidents from happening again....in a few days we were going to be visited by the royal family. Such an honor was rare, especially since there was no special occasion, and no other pack was visited. So, we all realized that it was a special occasion and that we had to live up to expectations.

As for me? 

I continued my daily duty of meditating on the Alpha son. And every day, I had to endure his jokes and mischief. Sometimes, I admit, I wanted to strangle him, until one day when he annoyed me too much and I let Leya answer him. 

The way the day started did not foretell anything at all but with all that...

- Albicios, you don't need to enter the school at the same time as me! he sneered.

- No worries! I don't want to be seen with you! I have to maintain my status! I retorted.

- As if you had any status! Honestly, do you still have any friends?

- I...I felt tears gathering in my ok. Jerk! I said rushing inside the school.

"Do you want me to take care of him?" Leya asked. "It would be a pleasure to beat him in front of the whole school!"

"No need Leya! He's right!"

From the day I transformed, all my friends abandoned me. Including my best friend, Rayna!

"She wasn't a friend! Friends don't abandon you when you're having a hard time!" Leya and my mother told me.

She was the first one to give me a hard time, after Max.

-Hey, girls! Look who deigned to honor us with her presence? 

- Rayna, please! Not today!

-You freak! Do you dare to answer me? Do you know who my father is? It's the Beta of this pack, you freak!

-Rayna, stop! I heard another voice say.

- Or else what, Ryan? You are a nobody, just a future warrior, at best!

-Rayna, that's enough! No one is allowed to call her a freak, except me!

- But, Max.....

-Enough! he boomed.

I thought that maybe the fact that we were spending more time together made him change his opinion about me.

-Thank you! I murmured.

-Don't flatter yourself Whitish! As I said, no one is allowed to tell you that, except me! he said as he pushed me against the wall. 

-It was understood? he asked looking towards the others.

- Yes, Max! answered the others looking towards us.

-Oh! They do fear the big bad Alpha! I said mockingly, tears stinging my eyes.

-What is whitish? Max said sniffing at me.

"What the hell? Did he sniff us?" Leya asked surprised.4

 I pushed him with all the strength I was capable of and said:

-You creep! I said.

- How did you call me? Creep? Do you have a wish to die? he asked angrily grabbing me by my neck while lifting me from the ground.

I saw his eyes change color, but I knew that such a thing was impossible. There was no way! He was not old enough to receive his wolf! I grabbed his hands, but I wasn't strong enough to defeat him. with all my training.

"What does this kid eat for breakfast?" I have wondered despite the situation I was in. 

"I think he's on steroids!" Leya retorted.

- Max, I'm suffocating! I said with the last of my strength, but he didn't seem to hear me. I heard a loud crash and saw Max flying to the other side of the corridor.

-Maxwell! Maxwell! Who is the naughty boy? Didn't I tell you not to make her suffer so I don't have to spank you?

I looked towards her. I realized that I was in big trouble, but I didn't mind. I wanted to see if her vampire would interfere if her life was in danger. 

"A bit late for my liking" muttered Demon. "If she was a real threat, she was long dead!"

"Maybe she realized that we are not a danger to her!"

"And now you have the chance to take a good beating!" Demon said laughing. 

"Just me? Demon....you can't...."

"I'll help you recover, human!" said Demon shutting me down.

"Shit!" I said to myself, looking at Alexis-Leya approaching me, following my movements like a cat follows its prey.

- Come on, Wolfie! Don't be a scary cat! she said.

I knew I had no chance against Leya in human form. 

-Damn it, even if I had been in my wolf form, I wouldn't have had a chance! The memory of the death rouge was still alive in my mind: he lifted him from the ground and broke his spine without blinking.

-What happens here? I heard the director say.

I have never been happier to see a teacher in the halls.

-Nothing! Nothing at all! I said smiling. Me and Alexis, I had a little dispute, but now everything is ok! Isn't that right Alexis?

-Yes it is! she answered, looking at me with tears in her eyes.

"Forgive me, Alexis!"

The days leading up to the royal visit passed like a blur, and when the day came I sat down as far as possible from the procession with my mother.

-Honey, even if we are still in this pack, we are no longer important members. 

- But, mother.....I would have liked to see the Queen up close, too! I said whimpering.

- You will see both of them, honey! Closer than you think! she said smiling as if she knew something I didn't.

-What do you mean, mother?

- Be patient, honey! Just be patient!

-Welcome to the BlueMoon Pack, Your Majesties! Alpha Cedric said. I hope you will feel well and that you will enjoy the little feast we prepare in your honor!

-Alpha Cedric, we are sure that everything is at the highest level!

 -Yes it is! My Luna took care of all the preparations!

- Everything is wonderful, Luna! You have a perfect sense for such gatherings!

- Thank you, my Queen. But I can't take all the credit. I was helped by a good friend of mine!

A loud gasp was heard. "She called that outlaw a friend?" "Is our Luna serious?" those were just some of the comments I heard. 

Two suppressed growls were heard and I realized that they were Alpha's and my father's.

-Is that so? asked the Queen smiling. And, could I also meet this friend of yours?

-Yes! I will bring her to you! 

I noticed how Luna approached us took my mother by the hand and said to both of us:

- Come on, the Queen wants to meet you!

When we approached her, I saw that she started to smile the moment she saw me.

- Isn't this the young girl who won all the possible medals at the competition a few months ago, dear? she asked turning to the king.

- Yes, dear! She is!

-Alpha Cedric, I want you to bring two more chairs to our table for them! said the King, looking around the hall to see if anyone dared to say something.

I saw my father beaming with pride, while he said to those around him, loud enough to be heard:

- That's my girl! She's so smart!

The party ended when the royal family decided to retire, not before telling me while patting my head:

-Continue to be the best kid, and you will go far!

- Thank you, your majesty! I answered feeling that emotions filling me.

-That's my girl! Dad said as soon as the royal family left. 

-Alexis! Let's go home! said my mother.

We headed towards the house, accompanied by my father in his wolf form. I don't know why, but the fact that he was accompanying us made me feel safer. Since we moved, he always accompanied us on the way to and from home and slept on our porch.

- Go home, Tim! Stop sitting on my porch!

- I can't, Anne! I have to take care of you two! 

Around midnight I heard growling and biting outside. It seemed like a wolf was fighting several wolves and didn't want to give up no matter what.

My mother ran outside, shifting in her wolf, not before shouting to me:

-Alexis, if something happens to us, run away! Tell Leya to take over, if I tell you to run! she said before leaving the house.

When she went out, I expected to hear the fight become even fiercer, but instead, I heard my mother shouting to my father:

-Tim, have you lost your mind? These are warriors from the royal guard! Stop immediately!

-Leave him, dear! I'm glad to see that he's trying to change! The fact that he gave up his title and slept in a comfortable bed is a surprise, I can say!

-Plus, dear, he put up a good fight, with some of our best warriors!

-Mother! Father! You should have been more careful! I told you that he is sitting here on the porch!

-Dear! But I was as careful as possible! I even put sleeping pills in his drink!

"I told you, man, don't drink the cup that maid offered you! It didn't smell like someone from our pack!"

"And you were right, Duncan! But, did you hear what she called them?"

"Yes human!"

- Anne! The King and Queen, are they your parents? I asked in disbelief.

-Yes Tim! They are my parents! So what? 

- So, you have lied to me for so many years?

- No, young man! She didn't lie to you! I forbade her! I bound her not to be able to tell you, until the moment you change!

-But....

-Enough, young man! said the king smiling. I think it would be best to enter the house, and not attract any unwanted attention!

- Let's go inside! said the Queen. In this forest, danger lurks from all sides!

-What do you mean? asked dad scared. Is someone threatening them?

- Let's go in and you will find out!
