I woke up to Paul shaking me, and kissing my cheek. "Baby, wake up. You have patrol with Sam."

"Did you bring me coffee?" I question as I slowly sit up.

"Yup. Just the way you like it, with French vanilla creamer and two ice cubes." He replies handing me my thermos.

"Thank you love." I say taking a drink of my coffee. I get up and put on a sweat shirt, and sweat pants, along with my tennis shoes. Paul climbs into my bed and goes to sleep. I laugh slightly as I give him a kiss on the cheek.

I walk downstairs to be greeted with the smell of food, as usual I just grab a piece of toast and an egg. I eat quickly and so does Sam so we can do our patrol. We walk out of the house and sprint toward the woods. He shifts and takes off full speed. I take off at full speed as well.

Nothing interesting happened on patrol just walking the treaty lines. When we got back to the house we were greeted with the smells of lunch. Paul pulled me into his lap and kissed my neck slight, but pulled away as Emily handed me my plates to get food. I got my food and Paul's and sat down and ate.

"That's no fair! How come Paul and Alex get to eat first?" Jared and Embry complain.

"Because ladies first and I got Paul's plate because I love him more then either of you." I say sticking out my tongue and laughing.

We sit around and eat, we joke and have fun. Then my phone rings, so I step out and answer it. "Hello?" I question.

"Hey Alex, its me Bella. I was wondering if you wanted to go to the movies with Jake, some kids from school and I."

"What are we going to see?" I question.

"Face punch."

"Okay, but you'll have to buy my ticket, I'll give you the money for it. I'll catch a ride with Jake."

"Sweet, thanks Alex. I'll see you tonight."

"Yeah yeah. See yah tonight." I hang up and walk back inside. "I'm going to the movies with Jake, Bella and some other kids at school."

"Why?" Paul asks a bit annoyed.

"Because I asked her to keep an eye on Jake, she's the only one of us who can get close enough. Besides he's about to shift at anytime." Sam says.

"But she could get hurt!" Paul snaps.

"Paul, babe, I won't get hurt. If it comes down to it I will temporarily paralyze him and bring him back here. I will be fine." I say putting a hand on his chest and pushing him against the wall.

"Get a room!" Jared yells.

"Shut up Jared." Paul says annoyed but calm. I laugh and kiss Paul on the cheek and walk upstairs to get changed. 

I put on a pair of printed leggings, an oversized sweatshirt that says love, a red scarf and grey boots. I also strap my daggers around my waist, under my sweatshirt unnoticeable. I put my long brown hair up in a bun and grab my red purse.

I walk out of my room, downstairs and kiss Paul. "Okay, I'm going over to Jakes, he's driving." I say.

"Be careful. I love you." Paul says pulling me back in for a kiss.

"I love you too." I say kissing him back.

"Get a room! Or lock up your thoughts." Jared yells from the kitchen. I laugh and kiss Paul again.

"See you guys later." I say walking out the door and to my car. I drive down to Jakes and knock on the door.

Billy answers the door. "Hello Alex, what are you doing here?" He asks.

"Jake and I are going to the movies with Bella so I figured instead of going separately we can drive together. Makes since yah know." I answer smiling kindly.

"Of course. He's getting ready right now." He says showing me into the house. We sit at the table small talking for a little while until Jake comes out of his room.

"Finally! It takes you forever to get ready." I complain.

"Let's go." He says slightly angered.

"Okay. Bye Billy, see you later." I say waving to him. I get into Jakes truck and we drive to the theater where Bella is waiting for us with Mike Newton. 

Once we get out of the truck we walk over to them. I hand Bella my money and walk with Bella to call Jessica, Eric and Angela, and to pay for the tickets. "What do you think they're talking about?" Bella asks looking at the boys.

Me having super hearing but not being aloud to tell her anything, "I don't know." I say with a shrug. After we pay for the tickets we walk back over to the guys.

"Jessica bailed and Angela is sick so Eric's taking care of her. It's just us four." Bella says then clicks her tongue walking away. I walk beside Jake and I can feel the heat slowly raising on him.

I text Sam before I walk in the theater.

Me: Be ready, Jake will phase tonight.

Sammy🐺😁: Okay, be careful!

I put my phone away and walk into the theater. I sit by Jake, who sits by Bella, who happens to be between Jake and Mike. The movie was extremely stupid, almost at the end Mike got up and ran to the bathroom. So we all decided to walk out and wait for him.

I zoned out on their conversation until Mike came out of the bathroom and said he didn't feel good. Jake got upset and Bella said he was extremely hot. "I don't know what's happening. I gotta go." He says taking off.

"And so do I because he's my ride. Bye Bella." I say and chase after Jake. "Jake give me your keys, you're in no state to drive."

"No. I'm fine." He says angry.

"Jake getting angry isn't going to help. Give me your keys." I say calmly. He doesn't give me the keys he gets in the truck and starts it and drives off. I sigh, run and jump in the bed of the truck. I text Sam and tell him we're on our way home. I stand up in the back of the truck as we pull into his house but he slammed the breaks and I fall out of the truck.

"Damn it." I mutter standing up. Jake gets out of the truck and runs to the woods. Billy comes out with a questioning look. "He took off into the woods. He's about to shift." I say taking off after Jake, I say Billy nod just before I got to the woods.

When I entered the woods Jake had already shifted and he was in a world of pain he kept whimpering. Me being the awesome person I am heard Sam howl so I howled back. Soon everyone was there in wolf form.

I walked up to Jake's wolf form but he growled at me, I took a step back from him, and sat in front of him. "Jake, the pain will subside soon. You need to calm down okay?" I say putting my hand out for him to come closer. Paul and Sam stand right behind me.

Jake moves closer to me and lays his head in my lap. I pet his head to calm him down. Jared comes back in human form and walks slowly up to me with my bag. Jake growls at him, but calms down when he doesn't see a threat. I pull out my medical kit, yes, I now have a full fledged medical kit with stethoscope and everything. It's a good idea because these boys get hurt so much but heal faster then normal so they can't go to the hospital. I pull out a pair of shorts and battery powered clippers.

"Okay Jake I need you to listen to Sam." I say as I cover my eyes and hold the shorts out. Soon I feel him take them so I wait a minute before uncovering my eyes.

"Alex, what's going on?" Jake asks.

"You'll have to talk with Sam. Now let me check you over real quick and cut your hair. I'll have to do your tattoo in a few days after you've calmed down some." I say as I check his heart rate, his body temperature and blood pressure. Sam, Paul and Embry come back in human form. "You're perfectly fine. Now let me cut your hair." I cut his hair short like it's supposed to be.

"Thanks Alex, you, Paul and Embry are on patrol tonight." Sam says handing me my weapons and a pair of sweats and a sweatshirt.

"Ah come on. I'm starving!" I complain.

"Figures as much. There's a thing of muffins in my truck, go get them. Jared and I will take Jake to the house." Sam says. I go behind a tree and change quickly. I put my weapons on and take off for the truck. I grab the muffins and leave.

Paul and Embry shift into wolf form again and I give them a muffin each since they both ended up begging. I ate the rest. After patrol Paul and I crawled into my bed and went to sleep cuddling.
