Alexandra's POV

"You did well getting Elena last night and with the Bennett witch in our grasp. We need only get the grimoire and we can free your mother" I state.

"Then what? Where will you go?" she asks me.

"I'll help you with your mother at first, then who knows" I tell her as we reach our motel room. The door opens and Anna stops Elena from leaving. "Seriously Ben?" I demand as we enter the apartment with Elena.

"I told her not to move! I did that eye thing that you taught me!" he states looking at Anna.

"And forgot the lesson about vervain! She dates a vampire, Ben. Duh!" she snaps. Anna pushes Elena up against a wall and opens the bathroom door.

"Who are you both? What do you want?" Elena asks looking at Anna and I.

"Does it matter?" we ask her. Anna forcefully pushes Elena into the bathroom and shuts the door. Locking it behind Elena. I lay on one of the beds and look up at the ceiling while Anna scolded Ben.

(Time skip)

Anna wanted to talk to Elena, so Ben grabbed her from the bathroom. Elena stumbles into the motel room. Anna leans against a table, looking at Elena. While Ben stayed in the bathroom to guard Bonnie. "Well, well. Elena Gilbert. You really are Katherine's doppelgänger. You must have the Salvatore boys reeling" Anna states.

"Who are you? And who is she?" Elena gesturing to me.

"Alexa, that's all you need know about me" I tell her.

"I'm Anna. Your brother may have mentioned us. I mean, we're like, practically dating" Anna tells her with a smirk.

"We also helped him with his vampire essay" I add.

"Bonnie's not gonna open the tomb" Elena tells us.

"Oh, I think she will" Anna tells her.

"Do you really want Katherine out that bad?" Elena asks us. I let out a dry laugh as Anna looks at her.

"Trust me. No one I know wants to see that girl again. Except Damon, the love-struck idiot" Anna tells her. "Besides she ruined Alexa's life and Alexa wants her dead" she adds.

"I do and for Damon to suffer" I state. "Before you ask Elena, Anna's mother is in there. She's the one who sired me, figured the least I could do is free her from the tomb she's imprisoned in" I explain.

"Katherine couldn't help herself. She just had to toy around with both of the Salvatore brothers. Even though one was engaged. And when she got caught, so did my mother. I watched Johnathan Gilbert take her away" Anna explains.

"I'm sorry" Elena says sincerely.

"You really mean that, don't you? Yeah, I think we'll skip the dead mom bonding so you can start serving a purpose" Anna tells her with a chuckle.

"Which is what?" Elena asks.

"Leverage. This belong to you?" Anna asks holding up Elena's phone. Elena tries to grab it from her, but Anna pulls it away. She walks across the room, dialing a number on the phone. I hear Stefan answer it.

"Elena? Are you okay?" he asks concerned.

"She's fine. For now. Tell me you have the grimoire and she'll stay fine" Anna tells him.

"I can get it" he tells her.

"Which means your brother has it. And I have the witch. So one of you had better meet Alexa and I in the very public town square in 30 minutes. So we can safely discuss how fun it's gonna be to work together" Anna tells him before hanging up.

I knock on the bathroom door. "Anna and I are leaving" I state. Ben exists the bathroom with Bonnie. "Keep them quiet and here. Compulsion won't work, so feel free to use violence. No killing them though" I tell him. He nods his head and I left with Anna.

We reached the square and waited for one of the Salvatores to appear. When Jeremy saw us. "Go talk to him, I'll handle the Salvatores" I tell her. She nods her head and went to talk to Jeremy. I go to the bench by the fountain and sit down. Eavesdropping on Anna and Jeremy. Soon Damon appears next to me.

"Got a hot date or are you just plan on nabbing the entire Gilbert family?" he asks me. I roll my eyes at him. "I can't believe you're alive" he states.

"Oh please, don't act like you ever gave a damn about me Damon. The second Katherine stepped into town, you annulled our engagement and hooked up with her" I sneer. "Now it sounds like there'll be a party, right next to the old cemetery. Isn't that nice of them? Lots of warm bodies for starving vampires" I say with a smile.

"I told you and Anna, I work alone" he reminds me.

"You did, but you're minus a witch and we're minus a grimoire. We all want the tomb open, what do you say?" I ask him.

"Stefan will come after you, you know that. For messing with Elena" he tells me.

"I'm no scared of him or you" I tell him "Besides that means he won't be to happy if I have Anna kill Elena when we don't get what we want" I state. I get up and head over to Anna, who is alone now.

"When do you want to do this?" Damon asks us. I share a smile with Anna and we look at him. Anna laughing lightly.

"God, it's like 1864 all over again. You Salvatores are truly pathetic when it comes to women. Tonight. After sundown. Meet at the church" Anna tells him before we left.

So we grabbed Jeremy and knocked him out. We meet Stefan and left Ben to deal with him & Jeremy. We went down to the tomb entrance. To see Bonnie with another witch, by the looks of it her grandmother. "Hey, you're not going in there!" Bonnie tells us.

"You think you can stop us?" Anna asks her.

"I dear you to try" I tell her. Her grandmother holds her back. Anna grabs a flashlight and we enter the tomb together. We find Elena by Anna's mother Pearl. "Your boyfriend did this you know" I tell Elena as Anna knelt down beside her mother.

"His father did" she tells me.

"No his father killed me, Jonathan Gilbert imprisoned Pearl" I correct her. Anna stands up and faces Elena. Handing me the torch.

"I made a choice a long time ago that it would be Gilbert blood that brought her back to life. I had Jeremy all ready to go but" she says and grabs Elena. Biting her wrist, before pushing it to Pearl's mouth. As Elena screams loudly. Pearl smells the blood and begins to drink.

"We're going to get you out of here Pearl" I say with a smile. Suddenly I'm thrown until a wall, then Anna is. I look up to see Stefan grab Elena and run away. "Coward" I grumble as Anna helps her mother up. "Lets get her out of here, I have blood bags in the car" I tell her. She nods her head.

(Time skip)

We made it out of the tomb and Pearl drank two blood bags on the way back to the motel. Once we arrived, Anna helped her to our room. I turn the light on and gasp at seeing Damon. "You both knew Katherine wasn't in there" he states.

"Of course we did Damon" I sneer. "How does it feel? Knowing the woman you loved and believed love you was free all this time. And never cared to contact you?" I ask him. He goes to attack Pearl and I throw him into a wall. "Does it hurt Damon? Knowing she never loved you?" I ask.

"Alexa stop" Anna tells me.

"The guard. The one at the church. The one who locked us in. She promised to turn him. He was obsessed with her. She had him under her spell, like everybody else. He let her go" Pearl explains looking at Damon.

"Last I saw her was Chicago, 1983. She knew where you were Damon. She didn't care" Anna tells him. Damon is utterly hurt by this new piece of information. "Sorry" she says and he left. "Feel better?" she asks me.

"Not even close" I tell her. "I'll go get us blood, stay with your mum" I add.

"Thank you Alexandra" Pearl says weakly.

"You saved me, I saved you. We're even" I tell her and left the motel. I went to the hospital and stole a few blood bags. Before returning. Pearl was looking better.

"What now?" Anna asks me.

"I'll stay with you guys until the new year, that should be enough time for us to get your mother up to speed. Then I'm gone, maybe I'll go to Mexico or New York. Who knows" I tell her with a shrug. We catch up and call it a night.
