The rest of the weekend passed by pretty quickly. We explored the best beaches and pretty much just relaxed, but then it became time to go home. Me and Alex didn't have sex, even if we came pretty close a few times. But it just never seemed like the right moment or the right time.
So we were back home and everything was back to normal. I was supposed to meet up with Alex, Miles and Jagger, but I had been forced to text Alex and cancel when a certain someone decided to stop by and say hello; Auntie Floe.
"Mooom! Where are the tampons?!" I shouted from the bathroom where I was having a serious emergency. "Mooom!"
There came no reply.
"MOM! I'M KINDA HAVING A CRISIS HERE!"
"Your mom left two minutes ago," I suddenly heard an amused voice say. "She let me in just before she had to go to the store."
"What are you doing here?!" I screeched, suddenly feeling very embarrassed. I was sitting on the toilet with my ass bleeding while I was desperately searching for a tampon – and my boyfriend was right outside. "Go away, Alex!"
"I have tampons, Soph."
"I don't have time for—wait, what?" I snapped and glared at the door. "You got tampons?"
"And cookies too, like always. Open the door."
My eyes widened. "Hell no! I'm not letting you in here!"
"Just open it a crack so I give you the damn tampons," He replied, chuckling shortly. "Come on Soph, you're desperate."
I considered my options and had to come to terms with this being my only one. I therefore awkwardly waddled to the door, quickly unlocked it and then opened it a few inches. Alex stuck his hand inside, holding the box of tampons out to me. He couldn't see me and I couldn't see him, all I could see was his floating hand. I quickly snatched the pack and closed the door, almost before he had a chance to retrieve his hand. "Thanks! My hero!"
He chuckled on the other side again. "You're welcome, my damsel. I'll just go lay on your bed then and await my princess's kiss."
"You wish," I mumbled as I heard him walk into my bedroom. I finished up in the bathroom, now finally happy to have my tampons. I walked into my bedroom and found Alex exactly where he said he'd be; Plonked down on my bed with my pillows behind his head with my TV turned on. He smiled at me when I came up to him.
"Hey, beautiful."
"Hi," I mumbled and crawled down next to him, under the covers. He curled up to me and wrapped an arm around me, spooning me.
"How are you feeling?" He murmured, pressing a sweet, tentative kiss to the spot below my ear.
"My stomach hurts," I mumbled back, yawning a little while looking at the TV. "Distract me. Tell me what you did today."
He chuckled silently, then sighed compliantly. "Well; I woke up, took a shower, thought of you, got a boner, masturbated—"
"Okay leave out the details, just be diplomatic."
His chest vibrated again as he laughed, kissing my neck. "Alright. I got dressed, ate breakfast, went to school, then went to Miles' place and met up with Jagger on the bus. Then we begun planning next week's prank when I got your text, saying you wouldn't be coming because you got your period. So I left, went the store and bought you a pack of tampons because I read somewhere that's what boyfriends do, and then I also bought you the usual pack of cookies, then I came here—"
"Wait, you just left?" I interrupted and looked over my shoulder to look at him. "Just like that?"
"Of course?" He said and raised a brow. "My baby was hurting, where else should I be? Anyway, so I came here—"
"And now you're just cuddling with me," I said, sniffing. I didn't realize my eyes were welling up before I felt a tear press at the corner of my eye. "And you bought me tampons a-and cookies..."
"Are you crying, Reynolds?" He chuckled. "I can't remember the last time you did that, and I have a photographic memory!"
"No, I'm not," I quickly said and wiped away the tear. "Shut up! I'm hormonal!"
"I like hormonal you," He grinned, "You get all girly and sensitive and emotional... you want a pack of Kleenex, baby-boo?"
I punched his leg, which only made him laugh even more. "You're a douche."
"But I'm a heroic douche," He chuckled and pulled me even closer to him. "So how am I doing on the boyfriend scale?"
I pursed my lips a little and thought for a moment. "Well, looking aside from that, you're doing pretty good. I'd rate you at 9 on a scale of 1 to 10."
"Why only 9?" He pouted. "I bought tampons, cookies, I'm spooning you, I told you about my day, I'm being all boyfriend-y..."
"I'm taking you a grade down because of this," I said and wiggled my booty a little where I felt his hardening member push against my ass.
"Oh, I apologize," He said, trying to sound sincere, but failed. "He doesn't know any better. See, he felt your ass and so he thought he was getting lucky. He gets so easily confused, the poor guy."
I scoffed loudly. "Did you honestly just talk about your penis in a third person?"
"He has a mind of his own."
I just sighed.
Alex stayed and watched TV with me for a few hours, until his mother phoned him and said she wouldn't be home tonight. That meant he had to go buy groceries so the girls would have something to eat back home. He was forced to leave my side, even if he didn't want to.
"I'll text you later?" He said, pecking a kiss to my lips.
"Of course."
And then he left and I was left alone in my room, silently thinking how the hell Alexander the Manwhore had become the best boyfriend I'd ever had.

Dumbass:
'Sophie! HELP, call me ASAP'
It was nearly one week later and then I got that message. I immediately frowned at my phone and quickly hit dial. Ever since we started dating, he hadn't been texting me for help, because the only thing in the world he actually ever really needed help for (or at least the only thing he ever asked for) was to help hide evidence from his mother – evidence concerning sleeping with random bimbos. But since I was his girlfriend now, he didn't need that, so I waited anxiously while the phone rang, to find out what this was all about.
The line got picked up after a moment. "Heeeeey, Sophie!" A very happy, but also theatrical Alex said over the phone. For a moment, he actually sounded drunk.
"Alex, is everything alright?" I asked, frowning. "You texted me and said I should call you A—"
"What? Oh yeah, I'm doing great! How about you?"
I frowned even more. Why did he sound like that? "Alex? What are you doin—"
"Your parents aren't home? Oh that's too bad, guess you're ordering take-out then."
I had no idea what the hell he was doing. "Alex, seriously, what the hell are you—"
"Hold on a sec, my mom is saying something!" I heard some muffled voices in the background. "You want me to invite her? Well, I'll ask then!" Another shuffle. "My mom wants me to say that if you're home alone, you could come over to us and join in on our family dinner night."
Oh, now I understood what all the theatrics was for. I stifled a laughter, but only just. "You are pathetic Alex, you really are. You can't even handle one family night alone? Come on, it won't be that awkward, will it?"
"You accept? That's wonderful!" He chimed falsely. "I'll set another plate on the table then! See you in five! Bye!"
"No, Alex, wait—" The line went dead and I was left listening to the beeping. I pulled the phone away from my ear and silently shook my head. "Alexander Theodore Stone... you're a piece of work."
~~~
"Alexander, would you like to say Grace?" His mom asked.
Alex shot me a sideways glance, but then nodded slowly, a muscle in his jaw ticking. "Sure."
Saying Grace in the Alexander Stone household was normal. Audrey, his mom, was such a strong Catholic that not one single tradition was left on the shelf. Alex, being the atheist he was, thought it was annoying, but I found it beautiful how she wanted to raise her children to believe in God.
We all joined hands and bowed our heads while Alex begun saying Grace. "Bless this food through our Lord Christ, we thank You for this meal You have given us. Bless our friends, our neighbors and our family at this table who are fortunate enough to be in our lives. We mercifully promise to continue serving You, as You have served us. Amen."
"Amen," We all finished and did the holy cross. I saw Alex shoot me a glare, his eyes annoyed and irritated. I subtly kicked him under the table.
"That was very beautiful, Alex," His mom smiled, now picking up her cutlery. "How is everything with school going? I feel like I haven't heard about that in ages," She chuckled and started cutting out her veggies.
"School is fine," He curtly replied, cutting out his steak while keeping his eyes locked on the plate. "Been busy with studying for the exams."
"Oh right, the exams are coming up!" She smiled happily. "How's everything going with you, Sophie? Are you prepared for the exams?"
I quickly nodded and flickered my eyes to Alex when he begun filling his mouth up with food, to the point where nothing more could fit – obviously so he couldn't to talk. "Oh yeah, I'm just dandy. I mean, uh, yeah. I'm prepared."
"That's good," Audrey smiled warmly. "I'm so glad you've been helping Alex with his algebra so much lately. I really appreciate it."
I coughed a little and glared towards Alex who quickly picked up his glass and begun chugging down water, filling his mouth up again. So that's what he told her whenever he had to go see me? I shot him a subtle scowl. "Of course, it's no problem. It's been my pleasure teaching Alex a few things."
Alex choked on his water when he saw the dirty glint in my eyes. He put the glass down and started coughing.
"Oh..." Audrey said and frowned concerned at Alex. "Drink slower, sweetheart. Take a deep breath."
He nodded and coughed a little more, before taking said deep breath. "I'm fine." His voice sounded raspy. "I just, uh... it went down the wrong pipe."
"Or maybe you just can't swallow," I whispered while Audrey quickly said something to Kaylee who laughed at Alex's red face.
He gritted his teeth and looked darkly at me. He did a subtle bite at me when his mom wasn't watching, curling back his lip. "You're asking for it later, Reynolds."
I swallowed my laughter and turned back to my plate when Audrey shifted her attention to us again. "So Audrey, how's work? Is it still as busy as ever?"
"Oh, you have no idea!" She sighed. "We are so short-staffed, I barely had time to come home and cook tonight. I promised I'd come back in later and take the night shift for my friend Susanne who has a stomach flu. Poor thing."
"So you won't be home tonight?" Alex voiced, shooting a quick, promising look at me.
"No, I'm sorry, I was hoping I could get you to clean up after me in the kitchen," She tiredly said, sighing a little. "I don't know if I'll be able to make it—"
"We'll do it," I promised and smiled. "Don't worry. We'll take care of Kaylee and Sarah as well."
"Actually I'm dropping them off at Michelle's house on the way," She replied, smiling to her daughters who were arguing over a piece of meat that apparently looked like Mickey Mouse. "They're having a sleepover."
"Oh." I said, automatically turning to Alex who couldn't stop staring at me with that dark look in his eyes and that smirk on his lips. He knew what tonight would mean, but I just shot him a hard look back, telling him it wasn't happening. "That sounds nice."
"Michelle has a staircase!" Sarah suddenly grinned. "We get to do mattress-surfing on it!"
"Wow, that so sounds fun!" I chuckled. "Are you good at that?"
"Umm, only the best!"
Conversation slid back and forth, but Alex stayed silent most of the time, simply just smiling every now and then. Finally Audrey had to go, so she and the girls said goodbye and then left us to clean up.
But the second the door shut, Alex whipped around and pulled me flush against his body before he mashed his lips against mine. I squealed and grasped onto his shirt to not lose balance.
"Finally alone," He smirked against my lips. "That was so tedious."
"They're your family, Alex," I argued, trying to pull back a little, but he wouldn't have it. "You should be happy that you guys all had a little family night."
"The only one I truly feel is my family these days is currently standing here in my arms, making it very hard for me to kiss her," He replied, now cupping my face. I looked into his eyes and he looked back. "Hey, beautiful."
"Hi," I whispered back as he lowered his lips to mine and captured me, both in heart and soul. He kissed me slowly, brushing his tongue along the seams of my lips. I moaned softly and looped my hands around his neck, just as his found my hips and slowly slid up, going under my top. His fingertips graced my bra.
I quickly pulled away when I felt I couldn't breathe and sucked in a breath. "We, ahh... we should, uh, get this cleaned up."
"Remember when you used to help me do that?" Alex asked. "After my crazy nights in town, I'd bring the girl back home and trash the entire house in the process. I'd call you up early in the morning and you'd come on over and hide the evidence from my mom before she got home."
"What's your point?" I said and pursed my lips.
"That I'm so glad I don't have to do that anymore," He smiled and leaned down to my lips again. "Because I finally got the girl I wanted all along, and if my mom were to catch us, I wouldn't mind one fucking bit. She'd be proud to see that I landed a beautiful, smart, caring, sexy little thing, who's fucking crazy as hell in a car with Beyoncé playing—"
"Alright, I get it," I chuckled and pecked his lips. "You're happy you're with me."
"I'm happy I'm with you," He echoed, smiling lovingly down at me. "And I'm so happy about that, I'm not even going to make a joke about being on you pretty soon, too."
I rolled my eyes when he waggled his eyebrows at me and smirked. "You just did, asshat. Come on, let's get this cleaned up so we can go to bed."
"The beeeeed..."
"Alex!"
"Sorry!"
Babysitting my little sis today. She's four and has a crush on the green Teletubby. When I asked her why, she said it reminded her of an Irish unicorn.
What the fuck.
