"Will it hurt?"

Manolo looked at Alejandro frightened.

He smiled and softly touched his cheek, "Not for long.", he softly said. Manolo gulped and closed his eyes shut.

He woke up and saw trees. The trees looked gray, he was in a forest. He heard footsteps coming from a mile away by the sound of crunched leaves. He then saw it.

Alejandro carrying a child in his arms, running in a black clothe. He wasn't just holding any child. He was holding baby Manolo.

Manolo's eyes widened as he saw him, he ran after them. He could hear screams coming from behind him.

He stopped when Alejandro was near boxes. The wooden boxes filled with vegetables, Alejandro placed his tiny brother down. The child crying, wanting his older brother to carry him. Alejandro shushed him, he held both his hands and sang his lullaby to him.

Manolo's eyes watered, he remembered that lullaby. The baby giggled and kissed his forehead. Alejandro teared up a bit and whispered softly to his brother one last time.

"This isn't over."

Then that where he saw it, Alejandro pushed the box down the river. The child felled asleep, he hugged a vegetable tightly, thinking it was his teddy bear.

Alejandro sobbed silently as he saw his brother float away from his arms. He heard the screams getting louder, he hadn't much time left. He disappeared into dust.

Manolo closed his eyes and saw a dark figure right in front of him. He stared at him deeply as water poured out of his eyes. His hand touched his cheek as he caressed it gently.

The dark figure smiled and took off its hoodie, realizing itself. Manolo gasped and hugged it as he sobbed.

"Remember me now?", The dark figure whispered, Alejandro.

Manolo couldn't be more happier, seeing him after what felt like a thousand years when really it was twenty years ago. His heart had a hole in it which is now filled with his brother love.

"I..I-I..I'm so sorry.", Manolo shuddered, he felt like his whole world just left him.

Alejandro calmed down him as he sat back on the porch. The wind blew the tree leaves down on the grassy floor. The forest hut was covered in blackness. How long has he been here?

Alejandro pulled away from the hug, "Seems like forever since I seen your face, you still look like me."

"I guess that's means you will be staying with me.", Manolo playfully said, he wiped a tear.

They both started to head home, the walk wasn't far. They were just glad to see each other again after an reset.
